When Chase woke up, he remembered he and Sunset were going to be hanging out by themselves for today. He was so happy. So, he got out of his bed and put some clothes on and then met Sunset downstairs for breakfast. He went to the cabinet and poured himself a bowl of Fruity Pebbles cereal, while Sunset poured herself a bowl of Special K cereal. After they ate breakfast, Chase went upstairs to brush his teeth and went potty before they left. “Chase, are you ready to go?” Sunset asked. “Be right there!” Chase replied as he walked downstairs and then grabbed his go-bag and Sunset grabbed her purse and wallet. Then, they left the apartment to go hang out together.


First, they walked to the park. After they got there, Sunset took him to the playground and went on the same jungle gym again, then he went on the rocking unicorn, duck and turtle, and then Sunset pushed him on the swing and went on the seesaw with him. Then, they left the playground and explored the fountain, got a portrait of themselves eating ice cream, then Chase fed bread to the ducklings. After that, they went to the zoo and saw some animals. They explored 15 exhibits and got some pictures with the animals.

Next, they went to a museum and saw many exhibits. They saw the dinosaur exhibit that had dinosaurs with animatronic features, discoverable fossils, and skeletons of a few species. They saw machinery from today and the old times, ancient artifacts and statues from different countries during the ancient years, a variety of clothes, uniforms, and artifacts from the world wars, and then went to a planetarium and saw a few models and information about the solar system, and watched a short documentary on the solar system and the planets in an observatory theater.

Then, they both went to an aquarium. They saw seals, penguins, whales, all types of fish from both rivers and oceans, an octopus, eels, sea turtles, stingrays, and sharks.





After a few hours of fun, they went back to the apartment and got ready for dinner. Chase then went to the bathroom and washed his hands for dinner. Sunset made themselves some grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup with crackers. After dinner, Chase went upstairs and sat down in the bathtub and Sunset gave him a bath. Until Chase was done with his bath, he put on his dark green pajama set. 

After he came down, he leaned next to Sunset’s hip and placed his hand on her lap, then Sunset placed her hand on the back of his neck. After they started cuddling, they watched a movie. “Sunset?” Chase asked. “Hmm?” Sunset replied. “Promise me you won’t leave me behind and we’ll be together, no matter how close we are to each other,” Chase said. Sunset leaned forward and gave him a small kiss, “I promise, little bro. I promise. Oh, by the way, the school has a daycare room. So tomorrow, we’re going to see about enrolling in that room. Plus, the teacher there is really nice and the other kids would love to meet you. If you want something just ask the teacher and she’ll help you. But, good news, when school ends, either me or any of my friends will come pick you up and take you home or to their place, okay?” Chase nodded. “Good boy. And if you feel scared, you can tell the teacher and they’ll help. You can bring your blanket and your dragon plushie with you, in case if they do nap time.” Chase smiled warmly and then nuzzled his cheek softly on his sister’s hip, the they continued to watch the movie.
