Toy Story universe, Galaxy Toys toy store: Present Day
“Let’s see what else we can do!” Astrid cried in excitement, as she was having a whale of a time in her mech.
Astrid, thanks to her training in fighting Dragon Hunters and other enemies in the past, was able to use those fighting techniques via her mech to take on Lemmy and Iggy.
“Let’s how well you like this knuckle sandwich, girly!” Lemmy said, as he charged at Astrid, ready to punch her.
However, Astrid was able to dodge her, causing Lemmy to miss and then strike Iggy by mistake.
“Hey, watch it you clutz!” Iggy shouted.
“Don’t call me a clutz!” Lemmy snapped back, “Besides, I was trying to get that chick!”
“What did you just call me?” Astrid turned to the Koopa kids, though was peeved of being called that, and (between her and her boyfriend) only Hiccup was allowed to call her sweet nicknames.
Astrid then charged with her mech, and suckerpunched Lemmy’s mech, causing it to tumble over.
“Now you did it!” Iggy snorted.
“Shut up!” Lemmy snapped.
“I’m telling on you that you said ‘Shut up’ to me!” Iggy said, as the two Koopa kids began arguing like young kids would.
Astrid smiled, and got her chance to attack Iggy, trying out the mech’s gun, firing it at Iggy’s mech.
Iggy deflected most of the blasts, but soon saw Astrid come at him.
Astrid controlled her mech, allowing it to strike blow after blow on Iggy, until finally she gave the mech an elbow shoved, causing Iggy’s mech to crash into a wall, then collapse on the floor.
“Way to go, Astrid!” Hiccup cried, as he was busy fighting his own fight with the ZERO robots that were attacking him and his small group.
One of the ZEROs fired a rocket fist, causing Hiccup to duck, then use Inferno to slice off the hand, leaving the robot with one hand. As it tried to strike him with the other hand, Woody used his pull string as a lasso to grab hold of it.
“Keep holding on, Woody!” Rarity said, as she helped hold onto the pull string with her teeth.
“Buzz!” Woody called out to the Space Ranger.
“On it!” Buzz replied, as he fired his laser, causing the robot to be sent flying, the tied arm to get ripped off, and the bot then collided with the electric fence, causing the weak spot to open up, “Your turn, Sonic!”
Sonic nodded and spin dashed onto the core, causing the robot to malfunction and explode.
“One down, one to go!” Sonic cheered, as he celebrated with a small dance.
“The only one who will be celebrating would be yours truly, you spiny pincussion!” Ludwig snarled, as he used a remote control on the other ZERO.
The ZERO robot obeyed Ludwig’s command, causing it to move to the centre of the ring, and extend both arms, revealing the wires to be electric as the robot began to spin around, the arms moving in the direction.
“Run! Don’t touch the arms!” Sonic cried as the other did what he said, and ran as quickly as they could, though the arms slowly began to spin faster, those who could run had to run quicker as the arms gained on them, while others had to try and duck or jump to avoid making contact.
Rarity was running as she could, but as she saw one of the arms reach her, she ducked as it passed her, however, she soon smelt something and, to her shock and horror, a small bit of her tail got burnt a little from the electrical arms.
“My tail!” she cried from the tiniest detail, “That fiend just burnt my tail!”
“Really?!” Hiccup yelled, “It was just a small scorch.”
“You’ll get used to it.” Rainbow Dash said from the other side of the fence.
Before anyone can blink, Rarity instantly did several karate moves on the ZERO mech, hitting it with several kicks, “Take that, you ruffian!”
Thanks to Rarity’s attack, the robot’s arms reeled back in due to this, making Ludwig mad, “You think you’re good, then try this for size!”
The brainy Koopaling pressed a button, resulting in the ZERO to jump up and down, as it did, it slammed it’s fists to the ground, making it tremble.
“Whoa, look out!” cried Buzz, as the ZERO tried to slam on Buzz, and the others did what he did, trying to avoid getting crushed.
Sonic then whistled to get the robot’s attention, “Over here, trashcan!” he cried, then pull a funny face to annoy it, as the robot then leaped into the air, ready to slam it’s fists on Sonic, however, the hedgehog dodged quickly, allowing the robot to fell for Sonic’s trap, as the hedgehog was actually close to the electric fence, causing the robot’s arms to slam on the fence, causing it get a shock, much like the first ZERO.
As it’s head flipped open, revealing the blue core, Hiccup charged at it, “I got this one!”
Hiccup then threw Inferno at the core, striking it dead centre, causing the bot to malfunction and explode, and the fences deactivated.
“Nice shot, Hiccup!” Sonic gave the young chief a thumbs up, before looking to Ludwig, “Now for you!”
Ludwig looked a little nervous before calling up his clown car, jumping into it as he cried, “Until next time, fools!”
However, Lemmy and Iggy, having escaped from their mechs, charged after him as they cried, “Wait for us!!”
They instantly jumped on and grabbed hold of the sides of Ludwig’s clown car, however, due to the extra passengers, the clown car began to slowly float down.
“Let go, you dimwits!” Ludwig shouted, “There’s not enough room!”
“Then make some room!” cried Iggy.
Sonic turned to Rainbow Dash, “Yo, Rainbow! Give me hand, or in this case a hoof?”
“Gladly!” Rainbow Dash grinned, as she grabbed hold of Sonic, then tossed him to the Koopalings’ direction, allowing him to roll into a spinball, spindashing the clown car and knocking both Koopalings, along with the Element of Laughter, out of the vehicle, allowing Sonic to grab the Element of Harmony.
“Got it!” he cried.
“You shall rue this day, you hogwash hedgehog!” Ludwig cried as the Koopalings fell out.
But as they did, another rift suddenly appeared and the three Koopa kids fell into it, before the rift soon disappeared.
“Hey, where did they go?” Rex asked, looking a little nervous, as the groups got together.
“I’m not sure, Rex,” Woody replied, as he looked to Sonic, “but I take it that’s a dimensional gateway you mentioned, Sonic?”
“Close enough.” Sonic replied, “That was a dimensional rift. They’re basically doorways to other worlds, and they’ve been popping in ours for sometime.”
Buzz looked to where the rift was and began to understand, “This all seems to make more sense… even if it also makes less sense.”
He then looked to Woody and the other toys, “I suppose what Sonic and his friends said was no doubt true on that.”
“A truly remarkable discovery,” Mr. Pricklepants exclaimed, “a new clue to continue this exciting chapter of the adventure!”
“Like what they said,” Buzz stated, “if those rifts brought those Badniks here, then our friends must be in this other reality that ‘Ludwig’ fellow mentioned.”
“All the more reason we should help them as they’ll help us.” Woody nodded, before looking at Sonic's group, “You said there’s a Keystone somewhere in the toy store?”
“That’s right,” Batman nodded, “the scanner said that’s coming from upstairs.”
“Then that’s where we’re headed.” Woody said with determination.
Galaxy Toys, Top Floor, Video Games dept.
After a bit of a long trek, the group managed to arrive at their destination, the top floor of Galaxy Toys.
The gang all looked around, as the floor was filled with video games and game consoles, along with additional attachments, remote controls and TV screens to show demovideos of each game.
“Wow, look at all these games!” Trixie said, looking around, until one game caught her eye, “Ooh, is that Snack-Man 3?! I’ve been looking forward to playing it!”
“Stay focus, Trixie,” Dolly said, getting the triceratops’s attention, “we need to find this Keystone, whatever it is, to help our new friends find a way to rescue their friends, as well as ours.”
As they group pressed forward, the scanner began to beep even faster, “We must be on the right track.” Shadow said, looking to the scanner.
After a bit of walking, Scootaloo spotted something, “There!”
The group looked in her direction, and there, not far from them and seemingly connected to an odd looking machine, was another Keystone.
“Scootaloo’s right!” Astrid said, “There’s the Keystone!”
The group hurried over to where the Keystone was, then stopped and had a good look at the machine it was a part of.
“That’s odd,” Trixie said, as she looked and examined the machine, “I don’t think I’ve seen this type of console on the TV ads.”
“You’re right,” Buzz said, “what do you think it is?”
“Not sure,” Sonic replied, “but be careful, guys, it could be a trap.”
Upon that said, several EggRobos appeared, along with several thugs (with seemingly clown face paint on them)
“Yep, it’s a trap.” Hiccup said.
Just then another voice was heard, one Batman recognized, “Roll up, roll up and witness the hysterically hilarious, the riotously ridiculous, the marvelously mirthful… ” soon another figure appeared, doing a somersault jump, before landing in front of the group as the mad man, with his signature grin, introduced himself, “Me!”
The Joker looked to the group and eyed on the Dark Knight, “Well, if it isn’t my ol’ pal, Batsy…”
“Joker!” Batman said, readying himself for battle.
The Joker, as mad as he was, giggled, “Ding-ding-ding! Score one for the Dork Knight!!”
“Friend of yours?” Sonic asked.
“Hardly…” Batman replied.
“Ooh, Batsy…” Joker said, seemingly looking sad, “how can you say that, after all the fun we had together?”
“Whatever you’re doing, it’s over!” Batman demanded.
“We’re just getting started,” Joker smiled, “right, Harley?”
Just then a hammer slammed down not far from Batman’s feet (though startled most of the group) as another clown, a female, wearing a red-and-black jester outfit, appeared as she smiled, “Heeeeere’s Harley!”
“Harley Quinn!” Batman exclaimed.
“Ta-da! Two points for you, Batman!” Joker cried, “Man, you are on a roll today!”
“Alongside those Koopalings, this would no doubt explain the clowns Buzz mentioned earlier.” Batman stated.
“If they’re trouble, then let’s turn these jokers into chumps!” Sonic said, getting pumped, though he was caught the attention of Harley.
“Say, Mr. J,” Harley spoke, “isn’t that the Blue Fuzzball that Egg-what’s-his-name mentioned about?”
Joker got a good look at Sonic, “I believe it is, my dear Harley.”
“‘Egg-what’s-his-name?’,” Sonic thought aloud, until he realized… “you know Eggman?!”
“Sure do, my glorified porcupine.” Joker said, “Eggman mentioned greatly about you, partially how you always have to break many of his sweet toys he makes.”
Sonic began to think of something, if Joker and Harley had encountered Eggman, then that would mean… “If you’ve seen Eggman, then what happened to Tails?”
“You mean that cute, two-taled foxy-woxy?” Harley said, “Oh, he’s fine.”
“For now, of course,” Joker grinned wickedly, “though I won’t be quite sure for you lot!”
As the others got into a stance for battle, Batman turned to Woody and Buzz’s group, “You lot get somewhere save, we’ll handle the clowns!”
“Maybe, but we’re staying to help!” Woody said, joining the fight.
“That’s right,” Buzz agreed, “if this lot are responsible for what happened to the rest of our friends, as did your friends, then we’re in this together!”
“More the merrier!” Joker chortled, before gesturing to the Keystone that was connected to the machine, “but if you wish to take this sweet trinket, here’s your bonus question? Can you guess what this is?”
The group looked at the device, until Joker brought out an alarm clock, as it rang, shouting, “Too late! Time’s up!”
“No fair!” Trixie cried, “He didn’t give us time to answer!”
“If you must know,” Joker said, “Eggman states it’s a power unit!”
The criminal clown then pressed a button, resulting in the machine coming to life, “Let’s see if it has enough power to wake up one of your old friends, Sonic.”
Sonic and Shadow looked a little uneasy, especially as a bit of a rumble could be heard, and Joker smiled, “I think it does!”
“Joker, what did you do?!” Batman demanded.
Before there was a reply, something shot down from the toy store roof and landed in front of everyone, allowing Joker to somehow jump into it.
As the smoke cleared, the group looked up to see what was standing in front of them, though as Sonic looked, he soon let out a small groan.
The something that was standing in front of them was some sort of mecha, with design similarities of a dragon, Highly detailed, it has a bulky humanoid torso with spiked shoulder guards, several highlights on the front, a smaller platform-like torso inside the main torso for an Egg Mobile to be inserted in the cockpit (in which one was currently being used by the Joker), blue prongs on its lower chest, thin arms, two wing units and exhaust pipes on the back. On its left arm it had, instead of a drill, a giant hammer, and on the right arm it had a large, metal hand with six fingers. It’s shoulder joints also have a spike protruding from each of them. Also, on the bottom of its upper torso dangles a lower-belly with two smaller cores (the lowest of which has protrusions on the side) and two talon-like feet cannons.
“Oh no… not this again…” Sonic groaned, as he saw the Egg Dragoon in it’s might.
However as one would look closely, the machine had a bit of a makeover in favor of the Joker, as instead of a red coat for the mecha, it was dark green with purple writing that said ‘Ha! Ha! Ha!’ all over it, and plastered on the front of the mecha, was what looked like a mask of the Joker’s face.
The Egg Dragoon brought down it’s hand as it grabbed hold of the machine with the Keystone on it, then attached it on it’s back, as the Joker let out a mad laugh.
“Ready to play, kiddies?!” Joker yelled, as the group were now realizing they were big trouble. Literally!
“Incoming!” cried Sonic, as the Egg Dragoon brought down the hammer to attack the heroes, while it missed them, the ground shook a little, causing most of them to lose their balance a little and/or fall over.
Soon the EggRobos and Joker’s goons charged at them, as Astrid, Batman, Woody, Rainbow Dash and Applejack took on the thugs, while Hiccup (riding Toothless), Gandalf, Shadow and Buzz dealt with the EggRobos.
The toys, meanwhile, were doing their best to avoid getting caught in the crossfire, most notably Rex and Trixie, the T-Rex panicked and scampered around, zigzagging left and right.
Rarity and the Crusaders were able to help out in getting them to shelter, once (most of them) were safe, they looked to the battle that was taking place.
“Go get’em, Sis!” Apple Bloom cheered for her older sister.
“That Applejack sure is one pony not to mess with.” Dolly said with interest.
“Same goes with Rainbow Dash,” Scootaloo pointed out, “She’s the best flyer ever in Equestria!”
As the heroes fought, they had to do their best in avoiding the attacks from the Egg Dragoon, as the Joker then controlled the six-fingered hand of the mecha, which soon changed into a six-barreled gun, which open fired onto the battlefield.
The others looked up to the giant robot the Joker was piloting.
“This doesn’t bode well.” Mr. Pricklepants said.
“How are the others gonna defeat that thing?” Scootaloo pointed out.
“There has to be some sort of weak spot on that mecha,” Trixie stated, as she came by to join the conversation, “every boss I battled in every game has to have one!”
“The way Sonic saw that metal monster, he must have dealt with it before.” Apple Bloom pointed out, “How do you think we can beat it as he did?”
Sweetie Belle had a good look at the Egg Dragoon, then spotted a large blue glow from the belly, then got an idea.
“There!” she cried, “That could be the weak point, on the robot’s belly!”
“Good eye, Sweetie!” Rarity said, proud at her little sister.
“Sonic,” Dolly cried out to the hedgehog, “You’ve tackled that robot before, didn’t you?”
“Yeah?” Sonic asked, as he was currently fighting Harley Quinn.
“Do you know about the weak spot with the-” Dolly was just halfway through her question when Sonic knew what she meant and responded for her.
“The big, blue glow on the robot’s belly? Yeah, that’s the one to aim for!” he said.
Hiccup and Batman overheard what Sonic said and looked to the Egg Dragoon.
“If that’s the weak spot, then that’s where we have to strike!” Batman stated.
“Sonic,” Hiccup turned to the Blue Blur, “can you help us?”
“Sorry, guys,” Sonic cried out, as he was dodging Harley’s giant hammer, “a little busy here!”
“Don’t run away,” Harley giggled, “I just want you to play builders with me. I’m the builder with the hammer… and you’re the nail!”
As Harley kept attacking him, dodging every blow, Sonic said to her, “Lady, I’ve already got to deal with one hammer-happy girl dressed in red, and I do not want another one in my life!”
“Ooh, is she your girlfriend?” Harley asked with interest, making Sonic blush.
“Hey! She’s a girl and a friend, but not a girlfriend!” Sonic stated, almost becoming the target of another hammer swing, then thought to himself quickly, ‘Man, I hope Amy didn’t hear all that?!’
“Don’t worry, Sonic,” Rainbow Dash said, as she and Applejack joined his side in the fight, “we’ve got your back!”
“Oh goody!” Harley smiled, “I always wanted to play with ponies!”
“Golly, that girl is just as hyper as Pinkie Pie!” Applejack stated.
“Yeah,” Rainbow agreed, then looked to Harley with an odd feeling as she pointed out, “and why does she sound a lot like a hyped-up Twilight for some reason?”
Batman, meanwhile, had to think of something to get to Joker and take down the Egg Dragoon.
He then turned to Hiccup, “You and the others try to find a way to strike that robot, I’ll find a way to deal with Joker.”
“Alright.” Hiccup said, a little uncertain of what he might have planned, but went with it anyway.
Batman then communicated the others back on Vorton, “Donnie, can you read me?”
“Loud and clear, Batman,” Donnie responded, “I’ve just been doing a bit more research and studying the keystone and that lone shard we found.”
“Including it’s rift opening abilities?” Batman asked.
“That’s right,” Donnie agreed, “and like that buggie, I think that the rift abilities may come in handy as well.”
Batman had a small thought, then came up with a plan.
“Donnie, we’re currently in a situation, and what you said might help us out. Can you try to give opening a rift a try?” Batman requested, “Such as shifting from one place to another?”
“Really?” Donnie asked, “I was actually just working on it, so it’s still a prototype and-”
“Just do it!” Batman stated.
The fight with Harley was beginning to turn to the heroes’ favor, as Harley began trying to deflect the attacks with her hammer, until one spindash knocked it out of her hands.
“No fair!” she cried.
“Sorry, Miss Jester,” Sonic smirked, “but playtimes over.”
Suddenly, Sonic was slapped by the giant hand of the Egg Dragoon and sent flying, as Joker grinned a nasty grin and said, “Playtime is only over when I say it’s over!”
Sonic landed with a thud, only to be slammed by the hand again, as the hedgehog had a bit of deja vu when he and his past self dealt with the Time Eater.
Joker looked to the down hedgehog after the attack, and smiled evilly as he brought up the Egg Dragoon’s hammer.
“Time to make you into roadkill!” Joker laughed.
Before he could bring it down, behind him, a small rift opened, as Batman jumped out and punched Joker at the side of his face, catching the clown off guard.
That move also caused the Egg Dragoon to stumble a little, missing Sonic by a few inches.
“Hey! That’s not very nice!” Joker growled, as he rubbed his cheek where it got punched.
“Stand down, Joker!” Batman snarled, readying his fists.
“Actually, I’d rather stand up!” Joker said, as he pressed a button then stood up, and instantly kicked Batman in the chest.
Batman and Joker soon were locked in a bit of a brawl, though most will think that Egg Dragoon would be defenceless, but the button the Joker pressed allowed the robot to go on autopilot, as it continued to attack a little.
Suddenly, as he continued fighting Batman, the Joker thought he heard something approaching the mech like a jet, as he looked, he saw Hiccup riding Toothless, as he then fired a plasma blast, hitting the Egg Dragoon.
“Bull’s eye!” Woody exclaimed proudly, seeing that stunt.
“Thanks for the save, you guys!” Sonic gave a thumbs up.
“We’ll see about that!” Joker said, as he then brought out a five-barreled gun and aimed it at Batman, firing surprisingly not bullets, but his own laughing fish, then launched a rocket fist onto the cape crusader, knocking him down.
The criminal clown soon quickly went back to the controls and fired onto Toothless, yelling to them, “Don’t forget to go out with a smile!”
“Toothless, look out!” cried Hiccup, as he and Toothless saw the robot attack and flew to dodge the gun fire.
“I just love to play… ROUGH!” Joker roared with laughter, as he activated the robot’s wings, allowing it to fly around and continued attacking the group, as they too dodged the attacks.
“We gotta find a way to take down that metal monstrosity!” Buzz stated.
“But how?!” Rex cried, “That thing must be quite powerful as all the bosses Trixie and I faced in those video games!”
“Days like these that I hope that you can fly, Buzz.” Woody said as he approached the space ranger.
“You and me both, Woody.” Buzz nodded.
Woody looked back to Toothless flying around, then suddenly he got an idea.
“Buzz,” he turned to Buzz, “I think I got an idea!”
Meanwhile, Joker was having a good time attacking the group, watching them scatter like mice from a giant cat.
“Oh, I love it when they scatter.” Joker sighed.
“Joker, cut out this nonsense right now!” Batman snarled.
“Oh you bore me for the moment,” Joker grumbled to his archenemy, before grinning, “thanks to Mister Egg-face with these toys, I can get the chance to play big time with your new friends like toys until they break apart!”
He then heard Toothless’ roar, then looked up and smirked as he saw Toothless flying towards the mech fast, “Alright, it’s Dragon Season!”
However, to his surprise, the Night Fury suddenly made a turn, and Buzz instantly jumped off the dragon, activated his wings and soared towards the Egg Dragoon!
“To Infinity and Beyond!” Buzz cried out his signature line, as he then fired his laser, as the laserbeams struck the core of the mech and the wings.
Struck from the attacks, the Egg Dragoon began to tumble down to the ground, everyone scrambling out of the way as it crashed.
Once the smoke cleared, everyone looked to the wrecked mech.
“Batman!” Rainbow cried, looking at the wreck.
“Y’all think he got out?” Applejack asked.
“He did.”
Batman’s voice got their attention as he came from behind them, having jumped out in time before the crash.
Hiccup, Toothless and Buzz soon landed afterwards.
“Great work.” Rainbow said, quite impressed, “That was pretty impressive stuff you did back there!”
“And that was so cool of how Buzz flew in for the final shot!” Scootaloo added as she joined the conversation.
“Heh, that wasn’t flying,” Buzz smirked, “that was falling with style.”
“Mr. J!” Harley’s voice caught everyone’s attention as Harley scavenged around the wreckage for the Joker, “Mr. J, can you hear me?!”
Soon, the Joker came out of the wreckage, shrugging off the mess on his coat as he said, “Peachy, my dear.”
Just then, the Keystone landed nearby next to the Joker, getting his attention.
“Ooh, this could be interesting.” he grinned, as he grabbed hold of the Keystone.
He then spotted Batman and the others approach, before bringing out his gun while Harley brought out her hammer, “Ah-ah. Not another step.”
“I think it’s time for us to amscray, right Mr. J?” Harley looked at Joker.
“Couldn’t agree more.” Joker said, as he snapped his fingers, causing Harley to bring out a walkie talkie, then tossed it to Joker as he handed her the Keystone, “Hello, operator? I’m going to need a taxi from the Galaxy Toys toy store, please?”
“Is he really serious?” Rainbow asked Batman.
“Unfortunately, yes.” Batman grumbled.
Soon, a rift opened up next to Joker and Harley, as the former said, “Oh, that would be our ride.”
Harley then went over to the rift, handing the Keystone back to Joker, “Ladies first!”
Joker then smiled back to the heroes, “Be seeing you around, Ba-Gah!”
The last part was suddenly cut off as Joker got bashed on the head by Gandalf’s staff, catching both criminal clowns by surprise, as a dizzy Joker dropped the Keystone and tumbled backwards into Harley, as they both tumbled into the rift.
“I’ll take that, thank you.” the wizard said politely, as he picked up the Keystone.
“Nice move, Gangalf.” Sonic said, giving a thumbs up.
Soon everyone gathered round as Sonic looked to Woody and Buzz’s group, “You lot also did a bit of good work too.”
“Thanks, Sonic.” Woody replied, tipping his hat.
“But what about Bonnie and the others?” Rex asked, “Will we ever find a way to get them back?”
The toys looked a little uneasy of them being apart, until Applejack spoke.
“Don’t worry, y’all,” she said, “ah know things may seem a little dark a little, but ah want y’all to know that we’re gonna fix this, and once we figure out what’s going on, I promise y’all you’re gonna be back with ones you care for again soon.”
The toys looked to each other for the moment… then smiled as they looked back to her.
“Just as Woody once said,” Buzz spoke first, “if what Applejack said is true, then I believe in her too.”
Applejack smiled as she heard this, along with Apple Bloom.
“While it does seem like we could be trapped in this dimension right now, I’m sure you’ll find a way to get us back home soon.” Woody smiled.
“And we will,” Hiccup said, “you can count on it.”
“For now, tough, we gotta get this Element of Harmony and this Keystone back with us.” Astrid added.
Sonic then lent out his hand, “Pleasure meeting you lot.”
“You too, Sonic.” Woody replied, as he and Buzz shook his hand.
“Good luck with everything.” Buzz said with encouragement, as the others waved goodbye.
“We will.” Sonic gave a two-finger salute then said proudly as he headed into the rift, “To Infinity and Beyond!”
“Shall we?” Gandalf said as he gestured to the rift, letting the others head in next until he joined them as well.
Woody, Buzz and their friends continued waving until the rift closed up in front of them.
“Alright, y’all.” Woody said to the others, “I think it’s time we head back.”
“Quite right,” Buzz added, “if our new friends do find a way to fix this, we should be there for Bonnie and the others when they get back.”
The other toys nodded in agreement, as they started their trek back home.
Vorton
The group returned back following the Joker’s defeat, as they were greeted by most of the others when they arrived.
“Welcome back, guys!” Donnie said, as he closed the portal.
“Did you find another one of those Keystones you mentioned?” Spider-Man asked.
“We did, and that’s not all.” Rainbow replied, as she then brought out Pinkie Pie’s Element.
“Is that the Element of Laughter?!” Twilight looked surprised.
“Sure is,” Applejack replied.
“We’re not sure how it got separated with the others, but it might have done the same as the Chaos Emeralds.” Sonic stated.
“So we now have to find not only the other Keystones and Emeralds, but also the Elements too!” Pinkie giggled, as Rainbow handed her her Element, “I think this scavenger hunt has become a whole lot more fun!”
“You bet it is,” said the robotic voice, “and I’ve been hearing about your thoughts on this ‘divide and conquer’ idea, and it can pretty much work too and double our chances of finding what we’re looking for.”
“Great!” Donnie said, as he looked to the group, “We’ll let the others know about this and get ready to make a few trips. I hope we'll be in time to save April and the others.”
Foundation Prime
“…and then they stole this shiny thing we found!” Joker, having an ice pack on his head, explained to Lord Vortech about what happened during their fight with the heroes alongside Woody and Buzz’s group.
“Chance meetings and setbacks to your petty pilfering do not concern me.” Vortech pointed out, before looking in his hand what looked like a carbon rod, “We have obtained another Foundation Element - that is all that matters.”
“Chance meeting the heroes IS a big concern, Lord Vortech!” Eggman stated, as he and Bowser were listening to the conversation, “If Sonic, Mario or any of the other goodie-two shoe heroes are now learning somehow how to travel between dimensions, it would soon lead to them learning what we’re doing or catch on to what we’re after, we could be in huge trouble!”
“Exactly,” Bowser agreed with Eggman, “Ludwig informed me that the necklace he and the others found was one of the missing Elements of Harmony, only for the heroes to nab it, if they somehow found a Chaos Emerald too, then we have to step our game!”
“Doc and Shellboy’s right, Vorty,” Joker nodded carefully, “trust me, if you underestimate the Creped Crusader, you’ll end up getting battered…”
Eggman, however, looked to Joker as he grumbled aloud, “Still, though, Joker, I’m not quite pleased about that performance stunt you did back there.”
Joker turned to Eggman, “Come again?”
“In case you’ve forgotten, you nearly killed Sonic!” Eggman explained.
“Well, duh! Of course I nearly did! I was doing you the favour of getting rid of him for you, perhaps ruffing him up to sleep with the fishes.” Joker said.
However, Eggman looked to the clown criminal with a hard glare as he sternly said, “For your information, no one’s allowed to defeat Sonic except ME! That honour is reserved to me alone! You or anyone else can defeat him with me or you don’t defeat him at all!”
“Okay, okay… sheesh…” Joker groaned a little.
Vortech soon looked to Eggman, “If these heroes may be a problem as you say they are, then I’m more than happy to summon some help across worlds for you.”
“You’d do that?” Eggman asked.
“In case you forgot, I have many abilities of inter-dimensional travel and knowledge,” Vortech explained, “and one of the things I know is that in several of these multiple number of universes, there can be an multiple number of Sonics, each against their own version of you, Eggman, perhaps even other foes too.”
“I have teamed up with… um… sort of, a different version of me… I think…” Eggman stated, thinking about Eggman Nega, his descendant from the far future who was both a time traveler and a dimensional traveler, though put that aside for now as he looked back to Vortech, “I suppose I could use a bit off help, I am a little skeptical to see what you’ve got, but I’ll give it a try on it, especially if some of these other me’s have their own Sonic problems.”
“I’ll have you know that I know some of the best and worst candidates who would be perfect to aid in your hedgehog problem,” Vortech stated, “I’ll be happy to give you some perfect aid from some of them.”
Vortech then looked to the doctor as he then said, “But for now, how goes work on MY special soldiers?”
Before Eggman could answer, Dr. Wily appeared.
“There you are, Ivo,” Wily said, “I was wondering where you went to.”
He then spotted Vortech as the latter looked at him, “Dr. Wily, speaking of which, aren't you and Eggman supposed to be at work?”
“Oh, we’re already done.” Dr. Wily replied.
Dr. Eggman got what he meant and looked to Vortech, “Yes, in fact, we were wanting you to see the full completion of our work. If you’d follow us.”
Vortech left the Foundation Element on his throne, then followed the two mad scientists into the inner depths of the temple.
Inner Sections, Lab
Doctors Eggman and Wily lead Lord Vortech into the lab, where the six heroes were still in stasis, Orbot and Cubot were checking up on them.
“This better be good, Doctors.” Vortech said as he looked to the contained heroes, “I don’t see any progress being made.”
“Oh, we have been ready for sometime!” Dr. Eggman replied.
“Yes,” Dr. Wily nodded, “we just thought you’d like to see the transformation for yourself!”
“I see.” Vortech said.
“Before we do, I have an even bigger surprise! I think you’ll like them, Ivo.” Wily said as he pressed the button of a device.
Upon the device’s activation, a door opened up revealing 11 robotic beings, but as Eggman had a good look at them, they seemed surprisingly… familiar…
The first one looked alot like Sonic, retaining his normal color scheme and sporting his normal design, with a few added design choices. Among these, his chest was made up of four horizontal 'plate armor-like' segments the same color as Sonic's skin, and had the same color scheme of Sonic's eyes. He had a muzzle with a black cone nose, and he also has Robot Master styled boots and shoulder pads.
The next represented Sonic’s friend, Tails, this robot resembled his organic form, though with a number of Robot Master-esque features. His lower legs resembled white boots, while his forearms were white and cylindrical as well. Instead of a muzzle, he had a flattened faceplate beneath his two emotionless blue eyes, with a gray plate of metal with triangular points on his forehead. His other features included metallic rotors/wings that spun around to enable flight. The robot’s chest had also had a white plate below Tails' neck, representing the white fur on Tails’ chest.
The one looking like Knuckles had its own design elements. For example, the boot-like components of his legs looked like Knuckles’ shoes, resembling yellow cylinders with green ridges around the bottom and in front with red toes. His hands represent his gloves, but now include rounded "cuffs" that extend to his elbows. His muzzle is flattened, and the representation of the white crescent on Knuckles’ chest is a raised plate that loops around his shoulders.
Another one resembled a robotic version of Amy with Robot Master-like features. The legs represented her boots, but more cylindrical in shape with rounded white feet. She shares a metallic version of Amy's dress, with a white band around her midsection. There was a red band of metal on the top of her head that reached down towards her green optic sensors, representing Amy’s red headband. She also had a flattened peach muzzle, and an almost helmet-like metal casing which represented Amy’s hair. She had white balls for shoulders, with pink arms that end in Piko Piko Hammer heads.
Eggman was surprised to see one robot looking like Shadow, with Robot Master properties. He had cylindrical legs that resemble a fusion between Shadow's actual legs and his air shoes. Unlike the other robots, he retains a somewhat Mobian muzzle-reminiscent of Metal Sonic's-with a black cone nose. He also has a small gray ridge beneath his red eyes. He had red and black metal armor, with silver and red protrusions on the sides of his head in place of his organic counterpart’s ears.
Next to the robot looking like Shadow was one that looked like his partners, Rouge, though with obvious Robot Master qualities. A helmet-like head with a pair of fins that rested on top of her head representing the bat’s ears. Other features had a flattened muzzle, mechanical sensors with green irises on black "sclera." Had gloves and boots like they became part of her limbs, with her left arm in the form of a cannon. She had white armor on her upper torso with a pink heart on the front, while her lower torso and upper legs were black like her organic counterpart's outfit.
Three of the robots looked so much like the Chaotix, all with Robot Master features.
The robot representing Vector looked so much like his organic counterpart, only with Robot Master designs, alongside with the robot looking like Epsio, that seemed so close to the original.
Charmy’s robotic double included a flattened face with a square segment in place of his organic counterpart’s mouth. The head was based off Charmy’s helmet, and he actually had visible eyelids that would go down over his orange optic sensors. The body was well based on Charmy's flight vest, shoes, and gloves, like they were fused together with his body, while his wings were replaced with a pair of turbine engines that were connected to his back by struts. Instead of antennae, the robot possessed a pair of fins atop his head, and the goggles from his helmet became glass domes on the back of his head as well.
The next robot to step forward resembled a robotic version of Silver the Hedgehog with features reminiscent of other Robot Masters. The robot had bulky cylindrical wrists that were white towards the hand and gold towards the rest of the arm. The boots have similarly looked like they became part of the robot’s legs, while it had a metallic faceplate and protrusions on the side of his head. Other features included a series of metallic fins, notably a triple fin on his forehead, two long fins extending from the back of his head, and a jagged shape on his upper torso.
The last robot next to it resembles a Robot Master-esque version of Blaze, with a flattened gray muzzle and lavender armor. The forehead jewel looked like it was fused to her metallic body, as have her mantle, gloves, and boots. Her wrists feature red bands with spikes erupting from them, and her limbs are bulkier and more rounded while her torso and shoulders are boxier. Her ponytail was manifested as a single spike, and her lower legs are purple while her waist and thighs are white. The robot retained the Cat’s tail, which was purple and segmented and has a flame burning at the tip of it.
“Incredible!” Dr. Eggman said, looking at each of the robots representing Sonic and most of his friends.
“Thanks to the battle data on Sonic and most of his friends, combined with your robotic technology and mine, we have created a unique brand new line of Robot Masters!” Dr. Wily grinned as he gestured to the new creations, introducing each one respectfully, “They are Sonic Man, Tails Man, Knuckles Man, Rose Woman, Shadow Man, Rouge Woman, Vector Man, Espio Man, Charmy Man, Silver Man and Blaze Woman! The Robian Masters!!”
“Ooh! Robian Masters!” Eggman rapidly clapped with glee, “I really love it! Rolls on the tongue too, especially of their names!”
“Thank you very much, Ivo.” Wily said with a smile.
“As a matter of fact, Albert,” Eggman said, now getting his work partner’s attention, “I’ve been doing something quite similar for you as well.”
He then snapped his fingers as he said, “When I learned a little bit about Copybot, I thought it would be quite good to make him so unique, no one, not even Mega Man, the hero he's based off, won’t stand a chance!”
Wily looked and was stunned as he now saw Copybot approach them… though it seemed he was given an extreme makeover.
Copybot had a number of design differences than his normal state, especially of his counterpart, Mega Man. Firstly, his helmet had been altered and given a more Eggman-ish design, featuring what appeared to be one of the Egg Pawn designs on his helmet, and had a green gem placed onto his helmet as well. He also had gold lines across his torso, making his armor look more like the outfit of Eggman, along with having his colour scheme altered to Dark Blue and Black from his normal light blue. His Mega Buster has also been altered to a golden design, his eyes have been altered to black and white, rather than his normal red and white eyes, and he no longer had the scarf around his neck.
“Is that you, Copybot?” Wily asked, looking at his creation’s new look.
“Not anymore!” the robot once named Copybot grinned wickedly, “I’ve been given an upgrade, no longer will I be compared to my double!”
“Indeed,” Eggman added, “the perfect fighter blended with tech of both Robot Master and Badnik! Pure genius move!”
The mad Doctor approached the newly designed Copybot and introduced, “I am proud to give you… M’egga Man!”
There was a small bit of silence… until M’egga Man turned to Eggman… unimpressed, “That’s stupid…”
Eggman looked at M'egga Man angrily rambling at what he said, as Orbot and Cubot approached the former Copybot, the former nervously saying “He really, really likes the name.”
“Yep,” Cubot added, also scared, “been saving that for a special henchman.”
M’egga Man looked to Eggman once more and decided to appease him, “M’egga Man. Love it. Especially the whole ‘egg’ thing!”
Eggman eyed M’egga Man for a second, until he smiled and said, “Much better.”
“So, Albert,” Eggman said as he went back to Wily, “would you like to see what neat tricks M’egga Man can do more than what he used to back as normal Copybot?”
“I love to, Ivo,” Wily grinned, “especially if you’re ready to see the Robian Masters in action!”
“Most definitely.” Eggman smiled, then had a thought, “Aren’t there any Foundation Elements around your Earth, Wily?”
“Why indeed,” Wily replied, “Energy Elements, that’s what they are. They’re usually scattered around different planets. It’s been a long time, but I believe that several of them have been found again and brought to Earth.”
An idea soon came up in Wily’s mind as he then said, “How about I give you a good show in having the Robian Masters get them on my Earth, while having a little fun taking down Mega Moron’s buddies!”
“Brilliantly cooked up, Albert!” Eggman nodded.
The two doctors then looked to Vortech as Eggman said, “But first, I do believe we are ready to introduce to you your new batch of slaves.”
“Indeed.” Vortech replied.
“And I believe you need some engines to be stationed on some worlds right away,” Wily added, “how about we send out two teams and give a go on unifying two worlds with some of the engines?”
“Wonderful idea, Doctors.” Vortech smirked under his helmet.
“How about these two Earths?” Eggman said, showing Vortech and Wily two different Earths, “these two may be different, but seem to have their own slew of superheroes.”
“Perfect for target practice!” Wily stated.
“Very well them, Doctors,” said Vortech, “you may begin at once.”
“With pleasure.” Eggman and Wily smirked together.
While this was happening, Ant-Man, Wasp and the Atom were currently hiding, while listening in on the conversation.
“Do you guys think that our reprogramming could work?” Wasp asked.
“Let’s hope so,” Ant-Man replied, “it has to.”
“And hope that we manage to learn more on what they’re up to as well.” Atom added.
“Time to reap what you’ve sown, Doctors.” they heard Vortech said, as the Lord behind the rifts looked to see Eggman and Wily behind they own sets of controls, Eggman’s on the left, next to Sailors Mercury and Mars with Silver, while Wily’s was on the right, next to Sailors Jupiter and Venus with Blaze.
“You see, Lord Vortech,” Eggman spoke “breaking the wills of such stubborn “heroes” is no easy feat!”
Wily then added, “But with the combined advance technology from our time, along with that from Sigma’s future, we have found a way!”
At that, both mad doctors simultaneously pressed the red button of their controls as they both cried out proudly, “BEHOLD!!”
Soon, the room was filled with screams of pain and agony, as the Sailor Scouts, Silver and Blaze were undergoing a terrible transformation, as red bolts of energy and electricity sparked from the test tubes, while Lord Vortech, Eggman and Wily looked on, wicked smiles upon their faces, while Orbot and Cubot (along with the hidden Ant-Man, Wasp and Atom, looked on in fear and small horror of what was happening, and what the captive heroes would soon become…
Mega City, Mega Man’s world, Year 20XX: sometime after Mega Man left
Not far from Light Labs stood Mega City, the proud capital named in honour of Mega Man by the citizens for saving their lives many times.
High up on the rooftops, watching over the city, stood Mega Man’s brother, Proto Man, who was the first robot to be built by Dr. Thomas Light.
As he observed the city for any trouble, a shriek of panic came from the city streets. Wondering what was going on, Proto Man jumped down to the ground, just as he saw several police cars racing by.
“All units respond to the attack at the International Energy Research Facility!” a police call spoke up, “First responders are down! Suspects are armed and highly dangerous!”
Wondering what has happened, Proto Man rushed after the police, hurrying over the Facility to see who, or what, had just attacked them.
Light Labs: at the same time
“...and that’s what happened!” Auto said as he had finished explaining about the unexpected attack which led to Mega Man chasing after the culprit through the rift.
“That is strange…” Dr. Light said, looking a little worried, “and now I’m worried, where would that rift could have taken Mega Man?”
“I’m not sure either, Doc.” Guts Man said, wanting to cheer Light up, “But let me go and round up the boys and we can try go after him.”
“True…” Dr. Light turned to Guts Man, “but I don’t want you running off into what could be a trap…”
“Dr. Light! Dad!” Roll cried out, getting the three’s attention, “You need to see the news! There seems to be an attack going on, and I think Proto Man’s on his way to see what’s up!”
The three looked to each other, then followed Roll to the next room, where the news was currently showing on the TV (which was powered by Elec Man at the moment).
“--Pure chaos in Downtown Mega City as the mysterious new robots had continued their rampage and are now currently attacking the International Energy Research Facility!” said Chest, the robot News Achorbot, who was on the screen, “This newcaster joins everyone when we ask: “Where is Mega Man?!””
“My son disappears and now these robots attack our city.” Dr. Light said as he heard the news, “This is no coincidence.”
He then turned to Guts Man, “Guts Man, round up “the boys” and join up to help Blues. Do what you can to stop the violence while I will get you some backup!”
Gotham City, Gotham Square, DC Universe
Sirens wailed as the Gotham City Police Force were called off an attack at Gotham City Square.
Three unknown enemies were spotted there, and were causing havoc when Commissioner Gordon arrived to help, though without Batman for aid, things would get a little harder than they thought.
“Where did this lot come from?” Gordon asked one of the officers, as they were covering behind a flipped police car for safety.
“We’re not sure, Commissioner,” the officer replied, “they suddenly popped out of nowhere and began tearing apart most of the driveways before approaching this direction!”
“Do what you can to keep them busy!” Gordon ordered, “I’m going to try and call for backup!”
“But sir, we still have no clue where Batman is!” the officer pointed out.
Suddenly, something… or someone, landed nearby them, getting their attention, as there, standing in front of them was Batgirl, AKA Barbera Gordon, who was one of Batman’s allies of Gotham.
“Might as well settle with me for now.” she smiled as she approached them.
“Batgirl, so glad you can come.” Gordon sighed, “We need to contact Batman’s allies to help us out. Will you help us keep this troublemakers occupied while I can get a signal?”
“Don’t worry, sir,” Batgirl smiled, “I’ll see what I can do!”
Batgirl jumped over the police car and approached the attackers, batterangs at the ready.
But then she stopped and looked surprised upon looking at the intruders.
“Okay…” she said, “I was expecting something more like Bane, Catman, Clock King and even Killer Wasp… wasn’t expecting… something anime-style!”
She readied herself for battle as she looked to her opponents.
Two of the enemies were young women, one with brown hair in a ponytail, and the other with black raven hair. Both of them were wearing some sort of mech suits, equipt with shoulder pads, head attires, boots and bulky, cylindrical wrists with white gloves, both of them having emotionless looks on their faces.
The third opponent was a robot that looked like a humanoid hedgehog.
“Sentry Jupiter to Sentry Mars to Base,” the brown haired woman, Sentry Jupiter, spoke with no emotion, almost robotic like, to the raven haired woman, Sentry Mars, “new opponent detected.”
“Confirmed, Sentry Jupiter,” Sentry Mars responded, in the same tone, “standing by for combat.”
New York, Marvel Universe (at the same time)
In the streets of New York City, panic was heard in the streets.
First, the city was attacked by a giant alien starfish, then they were unexpectedly visited by another bunch of heroes from a different universe, and now three new unknown beings had arrived and were causing havoc around the city.
S.H.I.E.L.D. had responded to the chaos going on and arrived to aid, with Daisy Johnson, also known by her superhero name Quake, and Maria Hill were aiding in fighting back the intruders, though they were slowly losing ground.
“This is Quake contacting S.H.I.E.L.D.” Quake spoke, “we have detected the intruders and are currently in combat with them. Call for the Avengers and send for medical aid immediately!”
“Daisy, we need to fallback!” Maria called out, “We’ve got serious wounded troops here!”
“Go! I’ll try and cover you!” Quake ordered, as Maria took one injured S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with her, as the inhuman continued to try and use her powers to hold the line.
However, she was suddenly pushed back hard, as a blast of energy struck her down and skidded her into the road. As she slowly got up to recover and wonder what happened, she looked up and looked a little nervous.
‘C’mon, guys!’ she thought to herself, ‘I can’t handle these jokers for long… whoever they are…’
Approaching her were two young woman, one with short blue, and the other had long blonde hair with a bow, and much like the ones that were invading Gotham Square, both of them were wearing some sort of sailor suku-styled reploid suits (blue for the blue haired and orange for the blonde), equipt with shoulder pads, head attires (the blue haired teen had visors on, while the blonde teen had headphone antennas on both sides of her head), boots and bulky, cylindrical wrists with white gloves, both of them having emotionless looks on their faces
Alongside them, was a robot that looked like femine humanoid cat.
“Sentry Mercury to Senrty Venus, enemy known as S.H.I.E.L.D. are backing down, and the target is secured.” the blue haired teen, Sentry Mercury, spoke in a emotionless, robotic voice, “Shall we proceed?”
“Afirmitive, Sentry Mecury,” Sentry Venus replied, in the same manor, “contact Masters to bring forth Unity Engine to begin next phase.”
Mega City, Downtown area, International Energy Research Facility
“Spaziante, what are those things?!” an officer asked another, named Spaziante, as the police were currently holding the line as most of the robots were attacking them while the others were robbing the facility.
“I’m not sure, Flynn!” Officer Spaziante replied.
Officer Flynn looked back as he asked, “Do you think it’s another of Dr. Wily’s Robot Masters?!”
“Are you kidding?!” Spaziante replied, “I heard Dr. Wily was dead!”
Suddenly, two attacks struck down several of the police robots who were fighting back, leaving to the two officers to stand their ground.
“Stop!” cried Spaziante.
“Drop your weapons!” Flynn added, however one of the robots fired what looked like rings, which two of them grabbed hold of the two officers.
“We are the weapons.” one of the robots replied as the enemy robots approached them.
Just then, some whistling caught their attention, as they looked to see Proto Man, shield in one hand, and his Mega Blaster primed and ready.
“You’re pretty brazen robbers, I’ll give you that.” he said, “Powerful too, from the looks of things.”
But soon, he took a good look at them and relaized something aloud, “What a minute… you’re not humans in high-powered gear. You’re not even regular robots.”
He then brought up his blaster and shield as he demanded, “What are you?!”
There, standing in front of him were none other than Sonic Man, Tails Man, Rose Woman, Shadow Man, Vector Man and Blaze Woman of the Robian Masters, as they looked to Proto Man and readied themselves to fight.
“We are the Robian Masters.” said Sonic Man, who sounded like a robotic version of the original.
Tails Man, speaking like a robotic Tails, added, “And we are your destruction!”
