//------------------------------// // Lil'Cheese's Kindergarten Graduation Day // Story: Cheesepie Family // by Majestical4729 //------------------------------// Time flew by and soon, Lil'Cheese and his best friends were old enough to graduate from kindergarten, just before their new friends, the children of Spike and Rarity, Precious Treasure the unicorn and Sparity the dragon entered their about-to-be former school. "I can't believe that we won't get to spend much school time with our friends!" Rainbow Dash's daughter, Rainboom blurted out. "Don't worry, we can all visit them after school," Rainbow's son, Sonic told his sister. "After our new school," Applejack and Caramel's honest daughter, Sweet Caramel Apple corrected. "I'm so going to miss our old school," Big Sugar, the son of Big Mac and Sugar Belle, sadly commented. "Me too," Fluttershy and Discord's daughter, Screwball added. "So, how's every creature?" Lil'Cheese asked, approaching his best friends. "Not great! We don't want to leave here! It's like our second home!" Applejack's daughter cried. "What if our new school isn't as great as this one?!" Screwball whimpered. "Don't worry, every creature: My parents, the most famous party-pony couple in all of Equestria will be attending the graduation ceremony! And they are actually hired to keep the students' spirits up!" Lil'Cheese announced in a tone that strongly resembled his mother's whenever she declared or announced something. "Wow, you really got your mother's attitude...or whatever that is," Rainbow's daughter commented, before the music started, signalling the beginning of the graduation ceremony. After the ceremony, the students rushed to their parents to complain about leaving kindergarten, a second before Lil'Cheese's parents went on stage to perform one of their upbeat, cheering up songs to brighten things up for the students. The song's funky beat and rhythm made every creature forget about their sadness and look on the bright side: they were one step closer to becoming what they wanted to be when they grow up. After the end of the song, Lil'Cheese ran up to his parents, who hugged him proudly. "We are so super dapperly proud of you, son!" Cheese told child. "What he meant was, proud of you, Lil'Cheese." Pinkie clarified. "Whatever, I'm glad that you both got to be here." Lil'Cheese responded. "And we got a Graduation Day party at Sugarcube Corner for every creature!" Pinkie Pie loudly exclaimed, making it an announcement for the school. "Rainbow got her captain duties today, so she sadly cannot make it, but I can take the twins to the party," stated Soarin, the Co-Captain of the Wonderbolts, and Rainbow's husband. "Sugar Belle and Applejack are busy, so I'm afraid that we have to accompany the kids for them," Big Mac added. "What a shame that the mothers could not attend the party." commented Caramel, the Co-leadre of the family and farm, and Applejack's husband. "Fluttershy is awfully busy as well, so I'll be taking our little, adorable treasure to the party." Discord told the party-ponies, while picking up his child. "Wait...all the Dads are going, and I'm the only Mum that can be there?!" Pinkie asked. "So sorry, they really could not make it." Caramel gave out a nervous chuckle. "But I can," Derpy said as she appeared. "Doctor Whooves is busy today, so I'll be taking our kid to the party!" "Oh, Derpy! Thank goodness I'm not the only mare!" Pinkie heaved a sigh of relief. "But none of your friends are there! And you can't force them to go! That'll be as horrible as forcing all of us to help you with a huge unneccessary party back there!" Derpy pointed out. "Pinkie..." Cheese Sandwich began, before his wife cut him off. "Don't worry Cheese, I have learnt and remembered my lesson, I'm going to accept the fact that my friends can't come, and allow their husbands to bring their kids to the party instead." Cheese Sandwich heaved a sigh of relief, before complementing, "Well done, Pinkie. You really got a better understanding of what a party pony should be like." "And you really proved to me, that you really were the party pony I am destined to be with, Cheese. By pointing out my mistake," Pinkie responded, "And you still, and totally are, the party pony I am destined to be with." "Um, Mum? Dad? You're in public?!" Lil'Cheese reminded, causing the couple to immediately forget about their romantic moment that the crowd was watching, blushing in embarrassment. Later at Sugarcube Corner, the fathers of Lil'Cheese's friends got a chance to talk to each other and come together, pleasing the party organisers. "This party feels great seeing all those smiles and getting along!" Pinkie commented, watching from a corner with her husband. "That's what a party is really about." Cheese told his wife, before they both said in unison. "To bring the guests together with fun and laughter." The couple then shared a laugh before a photo was taken, and a new picture was hung on the wall.
