Reef - Gut-A-Fish Gully
The heroes weren't too far from the second battlefield of the Reef after they saw the giant electric guitar, and using the opportunity, Beep-0 opened the Battle HQ so everyone could upgrade their Skill Trees.
Applejack used her one of her Runes to increase her area of movement after swinging off her lasso.
Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny each used one Rune to increase their area of movement when exiting a pipe.
Beep-0 closed the Battle HQ and the group entered the battlefield, where they saw what appeared to be 4 Smashers wearing red hats that resembled the top of apples and beaded necklaces with 3 red feathers. Beep-0 noticed that these enemy Rabbids were also carrying large crates of Bad Apples!
"Hmm... while this slovenly sluggard may look like a Smasher, it's not. It's a Smuggler!" Beep-0 explained to the heroes. "They're delivering Bad Apples all over the island to aid their corrupted colleagues. They must be stopped!"
"Hold on...is that one of them safe zones over there?" Applejack asked Beep-0 as she pointed to a blue area at the other end of the battlefield.
"Quite the opposite actually. Smugglers MUST be defeated BEFORE they reach the other side of the battlefield. If they escape, we lose!"
"Don't worry, we ain't lettin' that happen!"
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny cheered.
Stop The Smugglers - 4 Smugglers, 4 Ziggies
Rabbid Rarity went to the right side of the battlefield and hid along the side of a high area. She blasted the nearby Smuggler, which triggered a Push effect that sent him out of the battlefield, before respawning a moment later. She then activated her Shield.
Applejack had Rabbid Granny hop on her back and headed towards on open area on the left side of the field, where she then bucked Rabbid Granny over a Smuggler, Freeze Blasting him in the process.
Rabbid Granny got a Team Jump from Applejack and Freeze Blasted the same Smuggler. She launched her Barrel Bolt towards a second Smuggler on her side of the battlefield, and like a Smasher, it got his attention and he began to charge at her before stopping to rest. She activated her Stink Eye.
Applejack threw her Boomerang at the first Smuggler, defeating him and releasing the SupaMerge energy.
All the remaining Smugglers began to make their way to the "Not So Safe Zone" before stopping a few steps later to rest. The one from earlier got hit by Rabbid Granny's Stink Eye, which triggered an Ink Effect, meaning he cannot perform any attack until it wears off, and diverted his attention back to her.
The 2 Ziggies that were located in the front of the field hopped down off of their high areas, and one of them dashed Applejack and Rabbid Granny before hiding behind a partial cover, where he blasted Applejack, while second Ziggy dashed Rabbid Rarity and hid behind a pipe near the Smuggler. He then blasted Rabbid Rarity which triggered a Freeze Effect, preventing her from performing any techniques. Both Rabbids activated their Villain Sights.
The 2 Ziggies that were located on the back of the battlefield hid behind a full cover and a pipe respectively, but weren't in range to attack any of our heroes.
Rabbid Rarity went to Dash her Smuggler, while getting hit by the Ziggy's Villain Sight in the process. She then entered 2 pipes that led to the left side of the battlefield, dashed the Smuggler covered in Ink, and hid behind a partial cover. She decided to take a risk and sent a Sentry towards the Smuggler, which exploded and triggered a Push effect, which defeated the enemy, but damaged her as well because she was in range. Fortunately, the Push caused her Freeze Effect to wear off, so she used her secondary Heal technique, which allows her to heal herself and any hero in range, but Applejack and Rabbid Granny weren't near her at the moment, so she only healed herself for now.
While getting hit by a Ziggy's Villain Sight, Applejack scooped up Rabbid Granny and entered the 2 pipes and ended up on the right side of the battlefield, where she bucked the latter over the only Smuggler who hasn't been hit yet, Freeze Blasting him in the process. She took out her banjo and activated her Magnet Groove, drawing the dancing Ziggy and 2 Smugglers towards her. She used her Buck Slam which defeated only one of the Smugglers, however, this also caused the remaining Smuggler to roar and slam her with his crate, triggering a Bounce effect that not only sent Applejack flying, but also defeated the Ziggy by sending him flying out of the battlefield.
Rabbid Granny dashed and then blasted the Smuggler, defeating him and ending the battle.
The heroes cheered as they were healed and rewarded 1150 apples and 3 Runes.
"Nice work girls! That's one shipment of Bad Apples that Rabbid Jack will NOT be getting!" Beep-0 congratulated the group as they all exited the battlefield.
"Bwa-Bwa Bwaaaah!" Rabbid Rarity cheered, confident that things will only continue to get better from here. However, as soon as the group passed through a giant set of shark teeth that was in the middle of their path, it started to rain, causing her face to fall in disappointment.
"You just had to jinx it, didn't you?" Beep-0 asked Rabbid Rarity in annoyance.
"Bada Bwa Bwa-Bwaah!" Rabbid Granny complained in anger as well.
"Bwah Bwah?" Rabbid Rarity asked as she shrugged in embarrassment.
"Come on y'all, let's not let a little rain stop us from our mission." Applejack told everyone as she gestured towards a pipe at the end of the path.
"Affirmative, we need to press on." Beep-0 stated as he followed Applejack into the pipe.
Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny looked at each other and shook hands, agreeing that their friends were right and there was no point in arguing about the sudden change in weather. The pair made their way to the pipe and took turns entering it.
