//------------------------------// // Chapter 4: Meeting the Mane 6 - Part 1 // Story: A Tale of a Loving Sister // by GoebelTron //------------------------------// While Sunset and Chase were walking downtown holding hands, Sunset thought of an idea. “Hey, Chase...,” Sunset said. “One of my friends we’re about to meet is a very great fashionista and she does excellent work with clothes. I’m sure she can make you some new clothes and make some fixes on the other pairs you have. Wouldn’t that be nice?” “Okay!” Chase replied happily, as they continued walking downtown to the home of the first person for Chase to meet. Soon, Sunset and Chase went to a place called “Carousel Boutique.” Once they entered the shop, Sunset found Chase hiding behind her leg with his arms wrapped around in a hug. “Don’t worry, Chase. I’m sure she’ll be fine having you here,” Sunset said as she patted his head. “Hello!? Hello!?” Sunset asked. “Be right there!” A voice responded in singsong. All of a sudden, a girl the same age as Sunset appeared, but she had pearl white skin and bluish purple curly hair with a blue three diamond hair clip, blue eyes, blue eyeshadow, and she wore gold bracelets, a light blue fleecy shirt, a purple skirt with three diamonds, and purple boots. She was putting some dresses she finished up onto hangers and hanged them onto racks. “Rarity, is that you back there?” Sunset asked. Rarity saw Sunset at the front door and walked up to her. “Hello, Sunset darling! What a pleasure it is to see you!” Rarity cheerfully said. “Hey, Rarity. Good to see you, too,” said Sunset. Rarity looked down and saw Chase hugging Sunset’s leg and nervously blushing. “Aww... and who is this sweet little thing?” Rarity asked when she adorably beamed at the boy.. Sunset started to introduce Chase to her friend, “Rarity, I’d like you to meet my new friend, Chase Tucker. Chase, this is my friend, Rarity. She’s a generous fashionista, like I mentioned before.” Chase stepped forward. “H-Hi. It’s n-nice to m-m-meet you, Miss Rarity.” He then started fidgeting his hands nervously, until Rarity knelt down towards his level and gently stroked his hands and put her hand on his cheek. “That’s thoughtful of you, darling. But you don’t need to call me Miss. Rarity is just fine, okay?” Rarity said as Chase nodded. She then kissed his cheek and gently lifted him up from under his armpits and held him from both arms. “So, what brings you here, Sunset?” Rarity asked Sunset. Sunset suddenly realized what she needed, so she opened her bag and showed Chase’s clothes to Rarity, “I was wondering if you could make him some new clothes, because I need him to look representable when he meets the others.” Rarity was shocked at the condition on Chase’s clothes that he was wearing, and in the bag. “Oh my!” Rarity exclaimed. “I will certainly be honored to make him some new clothes, so I plan to upgrade his wardrobe. Chase, would you come over to my workspace so we can measure you?” Chase nodded to her, then held on to her and they went to Rarity’s workspace to work on his clothes. After Rarity put Chase down and measured his size, length, width, weight, and height, she took notes on her notebook and did some sketches. “Chase, in case I forget, what is your favorite color?” Rarity asked. “Green and blue,” Chase said. “Hmm... I see...” Rarity said. “By the way, do you like to play in the ocean at the beach? Because I was thinking about making you some swimsuits.” “Yes! Yes! Yes! I do! I do!” Chase said happily. “Alright, now that I’ve taken your measurements,” Rarity said. “I’ll do my best to make sure your clothes are brand new and perfectly fixed, which will not be easy, but I’m afraid it’s going to take a few hours, so you’ll have to check on me later.” “Okay, sounds fair,” said Sunset, until they both heard a grumbling noise. “What was that?” Rarity asked. “Sorry,” Chase said anxiously. “Looks like someone’s hungry, huh?” Sunset asked. Chase nodded. “I’ll inform you on your outfits soon enough, Chase dear,” Rarity said. Chase nodded and took Sunset’s hand and they left the boutique. ‘My, that boy is such an adorable little darling. I should get to know him,’ Rarity thought to herself.
