Three months later, I was finally able to go back to school. This would mean that I was going to have to stay after school to get caught up on my tests that I missed. Trust me, after being out of school, the tests were really starting to pile up. When I arrived at school, I was greeted by my best friend Mystic Diamond.

“Hi there!’ Mystic said. “You forget about me?”

“No,” I said, “I’ve been spending some time at Fluttershy’s house. I’m surprised that Silver Whiskers didn’t tell you?”

“Nobody told me,” said Mystic, “I guess I was out of the loop.”

“How did that happen?” I said.

“I don’t know,” Mystic said, “it’s okay, at least I’m in the loop now.”

“Well, well, well…” said Dark Meadow. “It’s the abomination!”

“You might want to get some new material if you’re gonna keep picking on me.” I said.

“Don’t make me laugh!” Dark Meadow said.

“I take it you’re looking for a fight?” I said.

“I think I do!” Dark Meadow said.

“Okay, okay!” I heard a voice say. It was Headmare Starlight Glimmer.

“Break it up!” Headmare Starlight Glimmer said.

Headmare Starlight Glimmer then pushed her way through the large crowd that was beginning to form. She then rolled her eyes at me and Dark Meadow.

“In my office now!” Headmare Starlight Glimmer said.

When we got to the office Headmare Starlight Glimmer slayed the door shut.

“Seriously,” said Headmare Starlight Glimmer, “first Marble Sprint and now you Dark Meadow!”

“What?” Dark Meadow said. “It’s not my fault that she’s an abomination!”

“Stop calling me that!” I said.

“Well it’s true!” Dark Meadow said.

Headmare Starlight Glimmer sighed and rubbed her head.

“Never mind,” said Headmare Starlight Glimmer, “I think I’ll have to it you out of school. Just like I did to Marble Sprint.”

“What?” I said. “You actually pulled him out of school?”

“Yes,” said Headmare Starlight Glimmer, “he got pulled out of school for picking on some other kids. I might have to do the same to you, Dark Meadow and your grades will drop dramatically and you won't graduate.”

“That’s not fair!” Dark Meadow said.

“Actually it is,” said Starlight glimmer, “that’s the max punishment I cave give you if you don’t stop buying people.”

Dark Meadow then left in a huff.

“You’re dismissed too!” Headmare Starlight Glimmer.

I then got up to leave.

When I got to the first period, I saw Silver Whiskers and he waved to me and I sat next to him. He then gave me a peck on the cheek.

“It’s good to have you back!” Silver Whiskers said.

Now, as you know, ponies ears are very sensitive so it was no surprise that I hear the whole class whispering about me.

Did you hear she was out of school for nine months?

What another suicide attempt?

No one knows, I heard she got injured or something.

Well with a suicide attempt they only keep you for 72 hours.

Yeah that’s what I heard.

Why is Silver Whiskers still going out with her?

The teacher finally arrived she noticed all the whispers that were going around and tapped her hoof on the desk.

“Alright, Alright!” The Teacher said. “I know what you guys are whispering about and you should shut your traps or I’ll shut them for you, understood?”

“Yes Ms. AppleJack!” The whole class said.

After class I kept hearing the whispers as I was walking down the hallway.

“What’s going on today?” I said.

“Oh, nothing…” Silver Whiskers said.

“It sure doesn’t sound like nothing.” I said.

I continue to hear the whispers even in the lunchroom, but to me it all made sense. Silver Whiskers only stayed at my bedside all those times he was worried about when he was really worried about the rumors that were going around. Mystic Diamond said she was out of the loop as if she didn’t know where I was the whole time I was out. I didn’t think that was true. Was she embarrassed to be my friend? Did she stay away because of the rumors? I think she did.

“Seriously,” I said, “something is going on and I want to know what.”

Silver Whiskers and Mystic Diamond exchange a look.

“It’s nothing,” Mystic Diamond said, “so don’t worry about it.”

“Really?” I said. “Something is going on and you two know it! So what’s going on?”

“Fine,” said Silver Whiskers, “I’ll tell you. There’s been some rumors going around about you.” 

“Like you didn’t think I wasn’t going to find out?” I said. “And nobody thought to tell me about it?”

“I didn’t think that was a good idea.” Mystic Diamond said.

“Why not?” I said.

“We didn’t want to stress you out anymore than usual, so…” Silver Whiskers said.

Just then Headmare Starlight Glimmer came up to out table.

“Betty,” said Headmare Starlight Glimmer, “I need to talk to you.”

“Of course…”. I said.

When I got to the office, Headmare Starlight Glimmer made sure to close the door tight.

“As you know,” said Headmare Starlight Glimmer, “there’s been some rumors going around about you. I don’t know what the source is, but I think it’s Dark Meadow.”

“That’s it?” I said.

“Yes,” said Headmare Starlight Glimmer, “that’s it…”

When I left the office I didn’t even want to go back to my next classes. So I didn’t go, I just went back to Fluttershy’s cottage.

It had been two weeks since I went to school. I refused to go back even if it meant that I didn’t graduate. I then heard voices outside my door. It was Princess Twilight and Fluttershy. 

 “Is she okay?” Princess Twilight said.

“I don’t think so,” said Fluttershy, “she hasn’t been to school in two weeks.”

“Let me talk to her.” Princess Twilight.

“Sure,” said Fluttershy, “but I don’t think she’ll listen.”

The door then opened and Princess Twilight came in.

“Hi there…” Princess Twilight said. 

“Hi,” I said, “what do you want?”

Princess Twilight sighed, “I know what you’re thinking, what’s the point of having friends if they’re not going to back you up right? That’s what my favorite student Luster Dawn said and you know where I pointed her to? The School of Friendship.”

“Your point?” I said.

“Look, I know you don’t think you’ve made real friends,” said Princess Twilight, “but when you do they’ll help you out. That’s for you to discern.”

There was another knock on the door.

“It looks like you have a visitor.” Princess Twilight said.

I sighed it was Silver Whiskers.

“What do you want?” I growled picking one of the daggers that I used in my training  with Scarlett.

“I really did come to check on you this time.” Silver Whiskers said.

“No,”I said, “I don’t think you did! Now get out my sight. If you don’t I’ll throw this at you and this time I won’t miss!”

“Betty!” Princess Twilight said.

“It’s okay Princess…” Silver Whiskers said.

“I told you,” I said, “get out my sight. I will throw one of these at you, and trust me, I won’t miss this time. Just leave!””

“But-“ Silver Whiskers said.

“I said get out of here!” I said.

 I then threw the dagger at Silver Whiskers and it came in mere inches of missing him.

“You missed on purpose!” Silver whiskers said.

“This,” I growled, “is your last warning! I said get out of my sight now!”

At that Silver Whiskers eye went wide.

“You’re really angry aren’t you?” SIlver Whiskers said.

“Just go…” I said.

Silver sighed and the left.

That I kept thinking about all things that had happened to me. I then thought it would be better for me to leave town. So I packed a small bag along with a tent and a sleeping bag and I also brought some food too. 
I knew exactly where I was headed. I knew that there were villages on the outskirts of Equestria. The only way to get there was through the Everfree Forest. I was almost to the Castle of the Two Sisters when I heard a voice call out. It just had to be Princess Twilight.

“Betty stop!” Princess Twilight said.

“Why should I?” I said.

“Because we care about you!” Silver Whiskers said.

“Yeah right,” I said, don’t make me laugh!”

Princess Twilight was about to charge up horn when Fluttershy stopped her.

“She can absorb your magic and use it against you!” Fluttershy said.

“Oh…” Princess Twilight said.

“Like I’m going to stop for you!” I said. “Why weren’t you there for me the whole time I was out of school? Can you tell me that? Can you?”

“Betty,” said Silver Whiskers, “I know you’re upset but if you calm down, we can explain!”

“I don’t want to hear it!” I said.

I then started to run as fast as I could. Then Fluttershy and the big mistake of running in front of me.

“Please stop,” said Fluttershy, “there are a lot of dangerous beasts and everything else out there.” 

“Nice excuse,” I said, “but I think I can even take down a cockatrise. So I’m fine.”

I sighed because I knew what I had to do. I didn’t want to do it because Fluttershy’s always been there for me.

“I’m sorry Fluttershy,” I said, “and thank you, for everything…”

“What do you-“ Futtershy said.

Before she could say another word, I sucker punched her in the face knocking her unconscious. I turned around to see Silver Whisker and Mystic Diamond chasing after me. 

“We have you now!” Mystic DIamond said.

I then punched the ground and this time it split on two.

“I didn’t know she could do that!” Mystic Diamond said. “Did you know she could do that?”

“No,” sad Silver Whiskers, “I didn’t really watch her train.”

I then took to the sky and so did SIlver Whiskers.

“Listen to me!” Silver Whiskers said. “You’re forgetting that we’re boyfriend and girlfriend. At least stop to listen to me!”

“You’re not my boyfriend anymore,” I said, “just leave me alone!”

Silver Whiskers stopped flying after me and with tears in his eyes.

“Just let her go…” Princess Twilight said. “Maybe when she has some time to think and grow up a bit, she’ll come back to us.”

“I hope you’re right.” Silver Whiskers said.

When I finally reached the first village on the outskirts of Equestria, it was nighttime. Even though I was completely exhausted I wanted to keep going. I finally made it and I was completely worn out. The first place I stopped was a shop at the border of the first village. I sat down and ordered a meal. Aft I ate I put my change on the table.

“Hey that’s too much money!” The shop keeper said.

“Keep the change.” I said.

“That’s still too much money!” The shop keeper said.

“I said keep the change.” I said.

I then got up to leave and knew where I was heading. If my memory is correct, I knew that there was a meadow in the middle of the village forest. 

“This village,” I thought, “it hasn’t changed a bit.”

If memory serves me correct this is the very same village that I met Scarlett Harmony.I built my tent, put down my sleeping bag and went to sleep.

I woke up when the sun came up and heard someone calling my name.

“Betty!” The voice said.

“”I know that voice,” I thought, “it’s Mr.Harmony.”

“Betty!” Mr.Harmony said. “Where are you?”

I sighed and then went of the the tent.

“Hi Mr.Harmony…” I said.

“I brought you your change,” said Mr. Harmony, “you didn’t recognize me at the shop?”

“No…”I said.

“I do own that shop you went too.”  Mr. Harmony said.

“Oh,”. I said, “sorry about that.”

“It’s okay,” said Mr. Harmony, “When I saw you, you looked so down. So I figured you got into a fight with Scarlett, and this is where you go after getting into a fight with her. You’d be here, just looking up at the stars.”

“So that’s how you found me?” I said.

“So,” said Mr. Harmony, “what are you doing out here? Something wrong?”

“What do you think?” I said.

“Well,” said Mr.Harmony, “Princess Twilight filled me in on some things. But she also wanted me to give you this book.”

Mr. Harmony then handed me a book that had Princess Twilight’s Cutie Mark on it.

“What’s that for?” I said.

“Everyone’s really worried about you,” said Mr. Harmony, “I think you might want to take a look at it?”

I sighed, “I’ll look at it, although I don’t think that there will be anything interesting in it.”

“And why not?” Mr. Harmony said.

“It’s a long story…” I said.

“Oh,” said Mr.Harmony, “how long you gonna stay here?”

“I have to keep moving,” I said, “there’s bound to be someone on my trial.” 

“Okay,” said Mr. Harmony, “I guess I think I’ll see you around?”

“Maybe…” I said. “Bye…”
