After their trip to the amusement park for ancient Pokémon, Luna and James was currently on Izabe island. An island James really didn’t want to be on, but they didn’t have a choice. All around the island was a rough sea curet that was impossible to sail through, for boats and Pokémon. So, they had to cross Izable island. And joining them were Shadow and his Charmeleon, he had managed to get his seven badge a couple of days before Luna and thanks to the curet he also had to walk across the island.
“You know, I heard stories about this island, a very powerful Claydol lives on this island.” Said Shadow while they were walking.
Luna tilted her head to the side. “Claydol?”
“Hold on.” James took out his dex, opened it and pressed some buttons and gave it to Luna.
Claydol the clay doll Pokémon. Claydol are said to be dolls of mud made by primitive humans and brought to life by exposure to a mysterious ray. This Pokémon moves about while levitating.
“It dosen’t sound that powerful.” She said while handing back James dex.
“Oh, believe it, it’s powerful.” They had arrived at a lake and in the middle was a giant Pokéball made of stone. “That’s where the giant Glaydol is capture and they call it the great destruction.”
Luna became worried when she heard the words. “That sounds bad.”
“Believe it young lady, the great destruction is real.”
The new vice came from behind then and when they turned around they saw an old man. “Oh great, this guy.” Said with sarcasm in his voice.
“Many years ago, a man released the great destruction and it went rampaged for seven day and seven night, when the people thought it was the end a white saga appeared, and he summoned a second giant Pokéball from another mysterious dimension and sealed the destroyer inside it. it’s still trap near Izabe Lake.”
Shadow look over to James with sceptical look. “Is this guy right or just crazy?”
James crossed his arm. “Unfortunately, he isn’t crazy. It has happened twice, the first time he said, and the second time happened not long.”
Then all eyes were on the saga who became really nervous. “Really? Weird that he didn’t mention that.” Said Shadow while crossing his arms.
“Well, you can’t expect an old man to remember everything that has happened over the last years.” He said with a laughter at the end while rubbing the back of his head.
The group just wondered what was wrong with old man. “Whatever, let’s just get to the village that’s on this island.” Luna and Shadow nodded in agreement of what James said.
After they reached the village, Luna and Shadow decided to have a Pokémon battle, two on two and James was the judge. After the had explained the rules the send out their first Pokémon, Shadow was up first.
He threw the Pokéball up in the air. “You’re up first Buizel.” Out came a Pokémon that was orange, it had two tail and a ring around its neck.
Luna took out her dex.
Buizel the sea weasel Pokémon. it swims by rotating its two tails like a screw. When it dives, its flotation sec collapses.
Luna look at the data. ‘It’s a water type, that means…’ She put away her dex and took out a Pokéball and threw it up in the air. “Come out Bulbasaur.” Out came the seed Pokémon ready for battle.
Then Shadow just smiled. “If you think that having the advantage is going to help you, then think again.”
“Begin.”
Shadow took the first move.” Buziel, use ice punch.” Buziel right hand started to glow as he ran and then it was covert in ice.
“Move it Bulbasaur.”
Bulbasaur managed to jump out of the away as Buziel hit the ground with its fist, part of the ground was covert in ice. “Don’t give up, keep using ice punch Buziel.” The sea weasel Pokémon ran after Bulbasaur and keep on attacking.
“Keep dogging.” Bulbasaur did that but it wasn’t easy considering Buziel kept on attacking, she had to do something. “Jump back and use razor leaf.” Bulbasaur jump back and managed to use razor leaf in the air, Buziel was hit hard and he flew backwards.
Buziel landed in front of his trainer. “Don’t give up, use aqua jet.” Buziel jump back up and then water covert him as he flew towards Bulbasaur.
“Let’s see if this work, use petal dance.” Shadow eyes widen when he heard that, he didn’t know that her Bulbasaur could use that move. Before he could recover from his shock, this time Bulbasaur send away pink leaf’s that collie collide with Buziel’s aqua jet. At first it didn’t look like either of the Pokémon was going to win, but then Bulbasaur managed to bush Buziel back and hit him with the attack.
Buizel flew backwards and landed on the ground hard, he was out. “Buizel is unable to battle, Bulbasaur is the winner.” Announced James.
“Way to go Bulbasaur.” Luna said while pumping her fist in the air.
“Bulba.” Then all off sudden he started to glow and grow, when he stop a new Pokémon stop there. “Ivysaur.” Luna took out her dex to see the data.
Ivysaur the seed Pokémon and the evolved form of Bulbasaur. There is a bud in this Pokémon’s back. to support its weight, Ivysaur’s legs and trunk grow thick and strong. If it starts spending more time lying in the sunlight. It’s a sign that the bud will bloom into a large flower soon.
Luna couldn’t help but smile. “Awesome, Bulbasaur evolved.”
Shadow became a little worried when he saw that, he called back Buziel and took out another Pokéball and threw it. “Your up Umbreon.” Out came the moonlight Pokémon and when Luna saw it, she became nervous. “What? Why are you nervous.”
“Shadow, I have to ask. Where did you catch that Umbreon?” Luna asked him.
He just gave her a confusion look. “I caught an Eevee right before the Pokémon school and then Eevee evolved not long ago. I used him and Steelix in my battle with the twins, why?”
Luna shook her head. “Nothing, I just had a bad event when came to an Umbreon.”
Now Shadow was curious but he wanted to focus on the battle. “Can you continued?” Luna nodded. “Good, use dark pulse.” Umbreon send away a dark beam from its mouth which took by surprise and she was not ready, Ivysaur was hit. “I thought you were ready, you didn’t seem ready.”
“Sorry, how about this, wine whip.” Ivysaur send away wines from its body.
“Use detect.” Umbreon’s eyes started to glow and when Ivysaur attack was about to hit, Umbreon just jump away.
Luna was just baffled when she saw that. ‘What just happened? I thought for sure that the attack would hit.’ If the attack don’t work, try another one. “Use razor leaf.” Ivysaur send away leaf but like last time, Umbreon just avoided the attack which annoyed Luna. “Use wine whip again.” Ivysaur again attack with his wine and Umbreon avoided the attack. “Don’t let Umbreon escape, amie for its legs.” Ivysaur did that and eventually he managed to trip Umbreon with his vines.
“Get up before he attacks again, then use dig.” Umbreon managed to get up and dig a hole before he was attack again, Luna and Ivysaur could only wonder when Umbreon could emerge. “Do it.” Before Ivysaur could react Umbreon came up underneath and send the seed Pokémon up in the air. “Let’s us dark pulse.” Somehow Umbreon managed to attack in the air and he hit Ivysaur in the stomach.
“Ivysaur.” Luna could only watch as it happened, then Ivysaur landed on the ground with a thump with stars in his eyes while Umbreon landed on his feet right in front of Shadow.
“Ivysaur is unable to battle, Umbreon is the winner.” Announced James.
Luna let out a sighed as she called back Ivysaur, she guessed she was a little too happy that Bulbasaur evolved. She took out a new Pokéball and threw it. “It’s your turn Skarmory.” Out came the armour bird Pokémon ready for battle.
Shadow knew right away that this could be a tough battle. “Use dark pulse.” Umbreon send away a dark beam.
“Take to the sky.” Skarmory flap it’s wings to avoid the attack. “Now, use air cutter.” Skarmony flap it’s wins to send away razor like wind towards Umbreon.
“Use detect.” Umbreon eyes started to glow again and the moonlight Pokémon managed to avoid that attack.
“Keep using air cutter.” Skarmony kept on flapping his wings sending away more razor wind towards his opponent.
Umbreon keep on avoiding the attacks but Shadow knew that eventually that his Pokémon would be hit, and it happened. Umbreon managed to trip and he was opened to Skarmony’ attack, they all watch as Umbreon was hit by many air cutter and it created dust. When the dust cleared thy all saw Umbreon lying on the ground unconscious.
“Umbreon is unable to battle and that means that Luna is the victor.” Announced James.
Shadow called back Umbreon with a heavy sighed, but he couldn’t help but smile when he saw how happy Luna and Skarmony was for winning.
He walk over to them. “That was a good battle Luna, I thought for a moment there that I had you.”
“Maybe you could but you didn’t.”
Shadow couldn’t help but laugh of what she said.
