"I'm teaching him how to preform a beam attack!"
"Just be careful honey you remember what happened when you preformed your beam attack."
Yeah I know, come on little guy let's practice!"
"Okay sis!"
"Kids".
It wasn’t that long after Bemular attacked, but as Bemular only appeared in the lake, the nearby town was completely fine. A couple of weeks later, Rarity, Rainbow and Applejack where investigating terrifying noises in Dodge City. And at the request of their little sisters, brought them along. A police officer was leading them to a well near an old castle where the sounds where reported from.
“So, this is the well where people have those heard terrifying sounds,” Rainbow remarked.
“Yes. It’s 300 years old,” said the police officer.
“That’s pretty old,” said Sweetie Belle.
“It was dug as an escape route to the sea when the castle was attack,” the officer told them, “now, see, they’ve built a powerplant.” He pointed to the newly built powerplant not that far from the castle.
“So there’s no telling how far it goes,” the officer continued, “there’s what looks like an exit on the far cape.”
“It goes all the way to the cape?” Rarity asked astonished.
“Yes,” the officer replied, “it’s beyond the other side of the plant’s mountain.
“Well I’ll be,” Applejack responded.
“Ok, we’re going in,” Scootaloo said as she, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom climbed into the well.
“Girls, what are you doing?” Rarity said sounding scared.
“It’s dangerous!” Applejack called out.
“Scoots, it’s dangerous, Scoots!” Rainbow cried out to her adoptive sister.
“Kids, it’s dangerous!” the officer even tried to call to them.
The CMC climbed down carefully and soon made it to the bottom. “Wow, it’s pitch black down here,” Scootaloo remarked. They began to look around with their touches to try and find the thing that was making those reported sounds.
Back outside the well, the police officer could hear something, “What is it?” Rainbow asked the officer.
“Can you here that?” he said, “that’s the sound I mentioned.”
In a panic, Applejack and Rarity yelled to their sisters down in the well, “APPLE BLOOM!!!” Applejack shouted to her sister.
“SWEETIE BELLE!!!” Rarity screamed down the well.
Back in the well, Scootaloo licked her finger to feel if there is a breeze. “Aha, there’s a breeze,” she told her friends.
“This must be the sound the officer said about,” Sweetie Belle said, “it’s from the wind passing through the cracks.”
The girls then ventured in deeper, but that was a mistake. As they turned a corner, they saw a giant eye. They hid around the corner and watched the eye move. Meanwhile back onto, Rainbow was just climbing down.
“Be careful, Darling,” Rarity told her.
“Don’t worry I will,” Rainbow said as she climbed down.
“It’s dangerous Miss,” the officer told her. Suddenly the ground started to shake. Rarity held onto Applejack scared of this.
In the cave, dust and rocks where falling all around the girls, they were all scared as Sweetie was screaming.
“Girls!” Rainbow cried out, as the dust and rocks fell around her. lightning bolts shot from the ground, and just after that the mountain side crumbled and shook, as a roar could be heard.
Rarity and Applejack look up to see the mountain open up, “What is that?!” Rarity shouted. As roars came crying out form the hole. But they didn’t see anything. But they hear the thing move as it created footprints in the ground.
At the powerplant, the workers ran out in a panic as they heard the roars and stomps. “Hurry, c’mon, hurry up!” they shouted. Something made the pipes behind the plant explode and water poured out. Then that something started to crush and destroy the main building. For a split second, Rarity and Applejack stopped a monster, draining the electricity from the power lines, it was a dark greyish black with a yellow back, antenna, and a large horn on its nose.
They saw it for a split second before it vanished into thin air.
Back in the cave, Rainbow had found the girls, and where trying to find a way out. A rock had broken her leg and she was limping. The CMC where mostly fine, a few cuts and bruises from the rocks but nothing too bad.
“Look, water!” Sweetie Belle pointed out, the group looked at it then decided to waste the dirt and dust off their skin. Apple Bloom rumbled a bit of a cut and it stung her, she took a sip of the water and was shocked.
“Guys, it’s salt water,” she said, then Rainbow could hear something.
“Waves! I can hear waves!” she said as she stood up and limped away.
“We can get out of here,” Scootaloo said.
“Girls, can you swim?” Rainbow asked, to which the girls nodded. But Scootaloo was worried about her sister.
“But can you with your broken leg?” she said.
“I’ll just had to put through,” she said as the four of them prepare to swim.
Back at HQ, the rest of the Wondercolts were analysing the situation at the Powerplant.
“So, a sudden landslide destroyed the hydropower plant?” Sandalwood said, “How strange. There were no earthquakes in the Kanto region.”
“There was a report of a monster sighting,” Vice-Commander Luna spoke up.
“A monster?” Fluttershy shivered, “Wait a minute, Vice-Commander. The girls to check on the rumours of the strange sounds coming from the old castle well. So Sunset and Sunrise sent their sisters just in case.”
“So Rainbow, Applejack and Rarity are with them?” Commander Celestia turned to the cousins in question. Sunrise and Sunset shied away, “I was wandering where they were.”
“But the well is pretty close to the powerplant,” Sunset said, “And we’re starting to get worried.”
Lyra was trying to call the girls, and managed to get through to Rarity and Applejack, but not Rainbow or the girls. After a few minutes, Lyra jumped up. “Commanders, about Rainbow, she’s not answering her calls. I tried the girls and they and it’s the same.”
“What?” Twilight said.
“They could have gotten caught in the landslide,” Derpy remarked, making Fluttershy gasp.
“Alright, Pinkie, Twilight, Sunset, Sunrise, you’re with me,” Commander Celestia said as her team got up and headed out.
Down at the shore, some fishermen where fishing when they saw Rainbow and the girls come swimming ashore. They quickly came running to their aid. Rainbow’s leg was in pain, and so was the girls, the salt water stung on their cuts. Rarity and Applejack soon came to the scene and helped their friend. Sweetie, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were tired from swimming, but Rarity and Applejack came back for them after setting Rainbow down.
High in the skies in the Griffin, Commander Celestia was flying when Sunrise spotted the power plant. “Commander, I see the power plant,” he said, “or what’s lift of it.”
“Okay,” she replied, “Vertical landing.” She called out to the rest. They then started to slowly descend down to the ground. Once they landed, Twilight started to ask a witness.
“So where did the monster you saw go?” she asked, ready to jot down notes.
“Well, it immediately vanished,” the worker stated.
“Immediately?” Sunset asked.
“Yes,” the worker replied, “it sort of faded away.”
“Hmm,” Sunset thought, as the man continued.
“The Power plant has been targeted for a while now,” he said,
“Meaning?” Twilight asked, wanting him to carry on.
“Sometimes the power output would mysteriously drop,” the worker continued, “the monster was sucking the electricity.”
“Electricity?” Commander Celestia said to herself. Just then the Earth Mare pulled up with Pinkie in the driver’s seat.
“Commander!” Pinkie called out, “Rainbow and the girls are safe. They were picked up by Rarity and Applejack after swimming to a beach ahead.”
“A beach?” Commander Celestia asked.
“Yes, their car was near the castle,” Pinkie replied.
“What’s going on?” Sunrise said them.
Commander Celestia, Sunset and Twilight went to a hotel to where Rainbow and the girls where resting. Applejack and Rarity was there as well keeping them compony. “So you heard those noises?” Commander Celestia asked Apple Bloom.
“Yes, we’re sure,” she replied drinking a hot chocolate. After swimming in the cold sea, she and her friends were freezing, and Rainbow’s leg was badly twisted so she couldn’t walk. She was resting the bedroom.
“Did you see it?” Sunset asked.
“We so an eye, but then it vanished,” Sweetie Belle told them, she was sitting on Rarity’s lap, wanting her sister’s warmth and comfort after her scary experience in the cave.
“So, an invisible monster” Twilight said, “hmm this is beyond us. Even for me and Micro Chips.”
Suddenly the light’s went out, “Oh? A Blackout,” Applejack retorted. Then Commander Celestia Wondercolt badge went off.
“Commander,” Bon-Bon’s voice came through, “The Dodge Transmission Station is having some transmission trouble.”
“Roger,” Commander Celestia replied before hanging up, “the Dodge Transmission Station is close by.”
“First the power plant and now the Transmission Station,” Twilight said, “both have to do with electricity.”
“Okay, you drive to the Transmission Station,” Celestia ordered, “I’m going back to the Hydropower Plant.”
“Yes ma’am,” Twilight and Sunset said before they left.
“What about us?” Rarity called out.
“Stay hear with the girls,” Celestia told them, “They and Rainbow need you.”
Sunset and Twilight drove to the Transmission Station while Celestia flew back to the power plant. Once Twilight and Sunset arrived, they saw some workers running towards them. “What’s going on?” Sunset asked.
“We don’t know,” a worker replied, “the voltage suddenly dropped and now it’s nearly zero.”
“A malfunction?” Twilight asked.
“No, we checked everything,” the worker replied, “nothing is malfunctioning.”
They all then heard something, they ran to the source and here a roar. Everyone jumped as Sunset pointed to smoke and sparks and the sounds of destruction, as everything was getting destroyed. The monster seemed to fade into view.
“So that’s the culprit,” Sunset remarked, looking up at the monster.
“That’s the transparent monster, huh?” Twilight said before getting a little too excited, “Okay.” Twilight then ran toward them monster.
“Oh! Twilight! Wait!” Sunset called out. Twilight pulled out her Alpha Pistol ready to shoot.
The monster stomped through the rubble it made and roar out at Twilight. Twilight fired her Alpha Pistol at the monster, but it did nothing to harm it. The monster’s horn started to light up, as it looked down at Twilight and fired electricity at her. The electricity stuck Twilight, making her fall to the ground after the monster stop firing. Luckily, it wasn’t strong enough to kill her.
“Twilight!” Sunset ran over to her friend and tried picking her up, “are you ok?”
“Look, it’s absorbing the electricity with its horn!” a worker called out. And he was right. The monster had its horn on the electric bars, its horn flashes showing that it was absorbing the electricity.
“Cut the power!” sunset told a worker.
“Right,” he replied as he ran to shut off the power.
Sunset stared up at the monster, with Twilight propped up against her shoulder, “Dammit,” she said, “It appears when its absorbing electricity. What a terrifying creature.”
After the power was shut off, the monster walked away and vanished into thin air.
Back at the HQ, Commander Celestia and the rest made it back and we’re discussing a way to stop the monster. “Commanders, the number 3 thermal power plant is located near the Rocky Ridge,” Twilight said, point at a map where the thermal power plant was.
“Then if it’s a monster that really eats electricity, it’ll attack there next,” Vice-commander Luna suggested.
“Yes, I was thinking that too,” Commander Celestia replied, “Lyra, Bon-Bon, bring me the data of the number 3 thermal power plant.”
“Yes ma’am,” they replied and got to work getting the data on the Thermal power plant.
“I know, how about this?” Flash said, getting everyone’s attention, “we temporarily shut off all the power in the Dodge region?”
“Don’t be drastic, Flash,” Sunrise said, “what do you think would happen if we did that? Phones would work, trains would run.”
“And Rainbow’s leg would heal,” Fluttershy said softly, Pinkie wrapped her arms around her in a comforting hug.
“I see, without electricity, no one could work,” Flash said admitting defeated, “society’s functions would be paralyzed.”
Just then Lyra got the data on the thermal power plant. “The number 3 thermal power plant has a daily output of 20 million kWh. It covers Dodge city and about 60% of the surrounding area.”
“I see,” Commander Celestia said, looking at the data, “we can’t let the thermal power plant go out no matter what.”
Just then, the team heard the doors open. They turn to see Rarity, Applejack, and the CMC walk in the room.
“Oh, hello,” Vice-commander Luna greeted them, “Are you girls feeling better?”
“Yeah,” Scootaloo replied before spotting a new weapon by Twilight, “Twilight let me borrow this!”
“OH!” Twilight said in shocked before taking in back, “This is too dangerous for you.”
“I’m want to use it to get revenge on Neronga,” Scootaloo said.
“Neronga?” Twilight asked, “who’s that?”
“A monster named Neronga, lived in that well a long time again,” Scootaloo told her, “They said a samurai named Flash Magnus defeated it, but it was still alive. I know because we saw a giant eye.”
“So the monster attacking the power plants was that thing?” Twilight asked, Scootaloo nodded in return.
“Look, Professor Scootaloo, why would something that’s been silent for centuries, suddenly go crazy?” Flash asked, not really believing her story.
“But at the hydropower plant, they say the power loss phenomena started two years ago when they built underground cables,” Commander Celestia spoke up.
“Neronga must of somehow learned how to convert electricity into energy,” Micro Chips said, “it ate so much electricity and got so big that the well became too small for it and it came out.”
“I see,” Twilight chimed in, “Scootaloo’s report might not be so far-fetched.”
“Yes,” Rarity thought out loud, “the reason it fades in and out might have to do with electron ions.”
“Yeah,” Twilight agreed.
“Ok. Order an evacuation for civilians near the number 3 thermal power plant,” Commander Celestia ordered.
“Yes ma’am,” everyone replied as the got ready.
“Oh and Lyra,” Commander said to the girl.
“Yes commander?” she responded.
“Have the defence force form a perimeter around the power plant,” Celestia told her.
“Right ma’am,” Lyra replied.
“Have you checked the Griffin’s fuel?” Luna asked Pinkie.
“Yes, and there full to the top,” she exclaimed.
While no one was looking, Scootaloo sneaked and grabbed the new weapon Twilight had constructed. Once she had grabbed it, she, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle sneaked out. Soon Celestia and the Rainbooms minus Rainbow, who was now in the infirmary at the base, were on the Griffin getting ready to fly off to the thermal power plant.
“Lunch!” Celestia commanded as the rockets fired up and they took to the skies. Luna, Flash, Sandalwood, Micro Chips and Derpy set off in the Stallion, to evacuate the people in the surrounding area, while Lyra and Bon-Bon stayed at the base. Little did anyone know, the CMC had snuck aboard the Griffin, and were hiding in a cubit.
As the Griffin flew to the thermal power plant, a heavy force armed with heat wave and rocket artillery stood on the outside of the city, protecting it in case Neronga broke through, the people who cannot allow the power plant to stop remained at the power plant and continue to work desperately. When the Rainbooms arrived, they started to walk around to see if they can pick Neronga’s readings.
“Commander, this is Sunrise, no readings yet,” Sunrise reported.
“Roger, the defence force is ready to attack,” Celestia responded, “let it come.”
While everyone else was busy, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were running and hiding to try and find Neronga. They hid when they heard, Applejack called for them.
“Girls!” she called out, as she moved by. The girls ran off quickly.
Rarity ran around a corner and saw Applejack, “Did you find them?” she asked.
“No. I’ve been looking around,” Applejack replied.
“I’m worried,” Rarity remarked, “Scootaloo is really intended to get revenge.”
“Did she say why she wants revenge?” Applejack asked.
“I think it’s either revenge for scaring them, nearing burying them alive, or for Rainbow’s injury,” Rarity replied. Suddenly, everyone heard a roar, as Sunrise was getting a reading.
“I have a reading!” Sunrise called out, “distance, roughly 1,500!”
Applejack and Rarity found, Celestia with the rest, “Commander!” Rarity called out.
“Okay, Let’s take the initiative and attack. Give us a detailed location,” Celestia said. They all stared with another roar came from.
Scootaloo came out her hiding spot, she was so determined on revenge, she was being reckless. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were worried. The tanks took aim.
“Begin attack,” Celestia ordered. The tanks fired at the spot and landed their attacks. Rockets and laser cannons fire and landed their hits on the invisible monster making Neronga cry out in pain. The explosions and roars where so loud that the CMC covered their ears.
Neronga faded in and out and the laser cannons connected to his horn. Scootaloo unplugged her ears and listened out for Neronga. Sunrise joined the rest by the tanks, “It looks like Neronga’s dead,” Sunset remarked. Suddenly a flash of light happened as Neronga absorbed some electricity and reappeared in full view. It roared as it held a boat in its claws and then threw it down the hill.
“Oh, It’s Neronga!” Scootaloo cried out. The CMC were closer to Neronga than they knew and ran behind the other side of the dump trunk they were hiding behind. Neronga started to climb down the hill it was on. It then fired a blast of electricity and the building, it exploded upon the electricity hitting. The building burst into flames as the Rainbooms looked at the fire.
Workers came running out screaming, “RUN!” one shouted.
“We did our best to the end, it’s no good,” another said to the group, “the power controls have been destroyed.”
“You did well,” Celestia told him, “it can’t be helped now.”
“Dammit,” Twilight cursed, “I wanted to shoot it at least once with the Beta Rifle.”
“I wonder where the girls went,” Rarity asked herself.
Said girls where trying to find a good place to fire at Neronga. The invisible monster knocked down some towers and crushed the main building under its weight. It continued to wreak havoc on the power plant, destroying buildings and walking on the rubble. Roaring all the while.
A tower burst into flames, and Neronga knocked it to the ground, it also tore up metal bars and props with it claws and teeth. Neronga was now just stomped around what was left of the power plant. Down on the ground, Scootaloo and the girls with firing the Beta Rifle and the monster, Rarity caught sight of them.
“There’s the girls,” she called out pointing to where they were.
“What?!” Applejack yelled, as she looked to see them.
“Take this Neronga!” Scootaloo yelled, the Rifle was strong, so Apple Bloom and Sweetie held her still. They fire the rifle and it directly struck Neronga in the left eye. The same eye the CMC saw in the well.
Neronga roared out in pain as it stumbled around half blind. The last bullet was waste shot and then the rifle was out of ammo. Scootaloo started to panic, as Neronga turned in their direction, eye socket still smoking. Scootaloo panicked and tired to run away but fell on her friends and they fell to the ground. Neronga’s antenna turned to point forward as its horn lit up and fired a blast of electricity at a container causing it to explode as multiple other explosions happened.
“Girls!” Sunset, Applejack, Rarity and Sunrise yelled as they ran in to save them.
“Over there,” Sunset pointed to them, “Come on.”
“Right,” Sunrise replied.
They ran passed fire and rumble to find them on the ground, “Are you girls okay?” Sunset said shaking them, “Girls! Girls!”
“Ultraman. Beat. Neronga,” they said weakly. Sunrise looked to Neronga stumbling around angrily.
Rarity, Applejack and Sunset picked the girls up, “Take them to safety,” Sunrise said.
“Right,” the three replied, as Sunrise ran off toward Neronga.
“Sunrise! Don’t do anything crazy!” Sunset yelled at her cousin.
Sunrise looked back to see the girls running back with the CMC in their arms. He continued to run, into the starry nexus again. Knowing that he needed to become Ultraman Scorn again.
Sunrise raised up her left arm and the coin slots opened up, and in the next second, and pulled the ultra coins out.
“Lend me your power, Ultraman!”
{ULTRAMAN}
“Lend me the will of the earth, Gaia!”
{ULTRAMAN GAIA}
“I shall bring peace and harmony to the universe!!” Upon saying this Sunrise crossed his arms, then raised them up, Ultraman and Gaia turned back into energy and went into Sunrise’s Ultra Gauntlets and finally he smashed his fists together, causing red and gold energy to spiral around him.
{RISE ULTRAMAN SCORN SPECIUM PHOTON!}
Scorn rose up in front of Neronga and stood in a fighting pose. As the humans look up, Sweetie Belle pointed out, “Ah, it’s Ultraman Scorn!” she called out.
“He came because you three called for him,” Rarity said still holding her sister close to her.
Neronga’s had also lost its depth perception when its eye blew up. It was a little nervous as it swiped the air with its claw. Neronga made its antenna face its horn and fire the blast of electricity but is did nothing to harm Scorn. It fired again but still no effect. Scorn smacked his chest where Neronga had fired his electricity beam and got ready to fight. Neronga charged forward ready to push Scorn down, but the Ultra sidestepped and pushed Neronga down, into metal bars and telegraph poles.
Neronga stood up again and swung it tail at Scorn, hitting him in the side of the face. Scorn stumbled around as Neronga charged towards him, but Scorn moved out the way and Neronga slammed its face into the hill. Neronga seemed to try and dig away but Scorn grabbed him and rolled down the hill. The solar energy that powers Ultraman Scorn is rapidly depleted on earth. When his solar energy is low, his Colour Timer starts to blink. If the Colour Timer goes out, Scorn will never raise again. Scorn was pinned down by Neronga, but he kicked him off, Neronga stumbles forward as Scorn get its head in a headlock. Neronga tried to free itself but Scorn held him back before throwing it down. Neronga stood up again, and aimlessly walked forward, Scorn grabbed its head and jaws, and by bringing its head down, kicked Neronga’s horn off.
In pain, Neronga roared out while stumbling and rolling around, it rolled on it back and Scorn picked it up and threw it to the ground. Neronga struggled as his movements became slow, it rolled onto its belly as it’s tail fell to the ground and the right eye closed. Scorn crossed his wrist, brought them up pass the Gaia Marks on his head as they started to glow with energy.
“Photon Bullet!” Scorn cried out, as he brought his arms forward and the Gaia Marks fire bullets of energy and the body of Neronga, causing it to explode and end its reign of terror. Scorn looked to the sky, and took off, while shouting, “Shuwatch!”
“Hooray, goodbye Ultraman Scorn!” the CMC called out, while waving to the Ultra as he disappeared behind a cloud.
“Something is fishy about him,” Twilight thought out loud, as the gang saw Sunrise walk up the path.
Later that evening, the crew with flying in the Griffin watching the sunset. “What a beautiful sunset,” Fluttershy said.
“It’s hard to believe all that happened,” Sunrise remarked.
“Well, let’s go home,” Celestia said, the gang nodded in response, “and give these three their punishment.”
“Huh?!” the CMC looked at Celestia with shocked faces, the rest all laughed at their reactions, as the Griffin flew back to the base.
On the ground, standing near the remains of Neronga’s horn, stood the mysterious cloaked being, they picked up a piece of the horn and tucked it under her cloak. Before turning away and disappearing once again.
[Land of Light]
Far, far away from earth, in the Nebula M78 star system, there was a plant of Light called Plant Ultra, also known as the Land of Light. Standing in front of a Crystal Tower, stood a being similar to Scorn, but was female, was blue and red with yellow marks, and wore a blue cape. She was talking to the princess of the land of light, Princess Yullian, and her closest friend, Ultraman 80, when another Ultra in a red cape showed up wanting a word with her.
“Alina,” the Ultra in the red cape called to the female Ultra in the blue cape.
She turned around to see the leader of the Ultra Brothers, Zoffy, “yes Zoffy?” Alina asked, “is something wrong?”
“I fear a threat has returned,” Zoffy said, “And your nephew is in danger.”
“Scorn’s is in danger!” Yullian retorted, she and 80 where Scorn’s babysitters when he was in his hundreds.
“I suggest you get your students together and get them ready for possible help in the near future,” Zoffy said with a stern voice.
“I understand,” Alina replied, “Is there anything else Zoffy?”
“I’ll get you updated if anything else happens,” he answered.
“Ok,” Alina nodded, Zoffy nodded too before turning to inform his brothers.
Alina looked to the sky and wished for her nephew to be safe, before excusing herself to Yullian and 80 to assemble her students who were either on other planets training or working in the city.
“We best go inform Zero,” 80 said, Yullian nodded and the two of them flew to find Zero.
Sup guys, Rainbow Dash here, and welcome back to the Wondercolt Monster Library. As I did get to speak much in this episode, Sunrise thought it would be good If I do today's Monster Library. And today, we be looking at Neronga. Your up Scorn.
Neronga, the Invisible Monster. He stands at 45 meters tall and weighs at 40,000 tons. his home planet is Planet Earth.
Neronga is a dinosaurian monster, that call absorb electricity through his horn. He can also store electricity in his body, and used that charged energy to preform a Despotic Attack Rush, where Neronga surrounds itself with electricity and charges towards the opponent.
If Scootaloo didn't shoot him in the eye, I would have found myself in deep trouble. I best thank them when I get the chance.
