//------------------------------// // I AM HERE // Story: What do these puppet strings do...? // by Sky Ash //------------------------------// ~ Huddled in a corner, Luna wails and wails, and nearly missed her crying aloud as her parents make it back to her in a friendly act ~ ~ Not wishing to leave Celestia, What more can I do? she wonders ~ “My parents” she begins as she rolls her eyes and continues to bury her face in her hooves, “if my parents had just listened to what I had to say… I don’t know, i don’t think I would still be under discord’s influence.” she looks up to the ceiling. “It is his doing that reality is suddenly senseless and disjointed.” she grumbled with a sniffle. she looked around the senselessly decorated room, that seemed to be teetering on the edge of reality, the corners were distorting into blueish cosmos. Tears dripped from her chin, as she sighed remorsefully. The Princess stood, wiping away what wetness she could from her eyes, “I have to do something.” She walked across the room to the wall, and delicately touched a hoof to it. She could feel a presence, like a passive ghost. wether it was more than one she couldn’t tell, but she knew it meant no harm and was simply observing. She had felt this presence many times before. It was just a sneaking feeling that happened every so often, where she felt the eyes of many suddenly upon her. Celestia used to get it too… Her sister described it as passive observers watching through some medium of text. She always understood these sort of beings better than I did, as did a pink pony strangely… Luna did notice that as she was thinking back on these beings seemingly in the room watching her, that the corners of the dark stone room had become less distorted. She pulled her hoof away from the wall and looked at it thoughtfully. “Maybe just fixing one part of a story -though it is but a small part of a chapter- will be the beginnings of undoing his ruination of my world.” She looked off in a strange direction, as if looking at some creature, though nothing was there, she spoke with absolute confidence. “This may take a long time, Reader, but if I do ever fix whatever happened to this world… you will most surely read of it, as if nothing happened.” she sighed. looking down for a moment her expression becomes deadly in it’s solemnity. “If you don’t…” ... the dream world collapsed
