Attempting to modify them will only result in the creation of an alternate timeline. They will still exist until a superior entity erases or overwrites them permanently.”
(X!Gaster was sitting in his office chair, thinking about what to say. Alphys was writing everything he says in wing dings.)
“Allowing more timelines to appear proves that they have been wrong many times.”
(X!Gaster closes his eyes about what to do next for this timeline.)
“I have also failed, but unlike them, I can fix my mistakes as much as I wish, without creating useless variations.”

“I have simulated the features of an alternate universe that Ink showed me some time ago.”
(Toriel was hugging Brandon with her left arm and Chara with her right. Frisk looked at her happily while touching her snout with her right hand. Luna was hugging Twilight, Sunset, and Starlight with her wings.)
(Sunset and Chara were not happy with what was going on, while Brandon and Starlight were questioning X!Gaster’s motives.)
“Just as I thought, there is nothing different that catches my attention. Nothing can be perfect.”

“This timeline only existed for two days. The Children and 13 year old seem to be upset.”
