When winter break was over, everyone met again. Twilight and Sunset told them about what happened.
"I can't believe it! He is an idiot!" Discord was angry.
"That jerk!" Fluttershy cursed and everyone looked at her. "What? He is."
"I just still can't believe this is all happening" Twilight said.
"It's okay Twi! It's a lot to take in!" Sunset reassured her.
"Well now we have even more problems" Applejack said.
"But at least we know their motives!" Rainbow added.
"Yeah, but no one knows what these magical rock thingies do!" Pinkie pointed out.
"Oh maybe they would be great necklaces!" Rarity was in her own world.
"I personally would like to break them and help you turn them into necklaces if they are able to remove magic they need to be destroyed!" Rainbow said.
"Ah this is a disaster!" Twilight got up.
"And I still need to teach you all forbidden magic!" Discord said.
"Right...." Fluttershy was still not fully comfortable with that.
"Can we start with those right away?" Pinkie asked. "I would like to know them!"
"Wait how did you even mean to teach is them?" Rarity was confused. "We can't practice on anyone!"
"Of course not! We would just read books and I would explain some stuff about them!" Discord said.
"People! We are trying to make Twilight feel better not discuss spells!" Sunset reminded them.
"Right!" Discord said awkwardly.
"Okay!" Twilight suddenly seemed determined. "We save Mel, stop Stacy, Cadence and my brother, report to Dubledore, find out what these rocks can do, destroy them if needed and finish this school year! Easy as that."
"..."easy"" Rainbow said.
"I mean what could possibly go wrong?" Twilight was in panic.
"We will come up with a plan, it will all be okay." Sunset said.
"Let's start with those spells!" Rainboe suggested and everyone agreed. They were back on track.

Few months have passed. Everyone learnt many new spells, the school year was coming to an end, it was the last full moon of the school year. It was now or never! They all decided to meet at the edge of Forbidden forest at midnight. Everyone was nervous about it and doing their best to get ready.
Rarity decided she wanted to take her mind of off it all and was designing some new dresses. She had met a guy she developed a crush on in the last few months so she went to meet him at Hogsmade. They grabbed coffee together and took a walk. It all seemed peaceful for her at that moment. It felt strange and anoxious that later that day will be a great fight.

Pinkie decided to go do many things to fill her day. She practiced, walked around the castle, even joined the Hogwarts kitchen and baked desserts for today's dinner. After all of that she went to help Hagrid with some animals and they rescued an alligator together. It was only a baby and Hagrid decided to take care of him. He let Pinkie named it so now little Gummy is happy and saved. Pinkie has always wanted a pet and is thinking about adopting Gummy. Or maybe an owl. Why not both?

Applejack and Rainbow Dash were having a date. It was more like a series of competitions between them but they were having fun and laughing.
"Are you worried about tonight?" Applejack suddenly broke the fun topics with serious one they have been avoiding this entire time.
"Nah, we got this."
"But what if they manage to do it? What if they remove magic from so many people? I don't want to stay without it."
"Don't worry! That won't happen. I would never let anyone hurt you nor any of my friends!"
"Aw, thanks Rainbow. I just really hope you are right!"
"I am. You'll see."

Fluttershy went to visit Discord.
"How are you feeling?"
"I am excited to finally rescue my girlfriend. After so many years. I missed her."
"I can imagine. I am glad you two will finally be together again. What do you plan to do after it?"
"I guess I would like to admit everything to Dumbledore and ask him if I can join Hogwarts again to finish it. I would really like to graduate here."
"I think that would be great! I would be happy to have you around with us!"
"I am so glad I met you. You have become my best friend and the person I always come to to talk about anything!"
"I am glad you feel like that! I feel the same way! You are one of my best friends too!"
"I can't wait for all of us to have fun and peaceful years at Hogwarts, just being friends and going to grab Butterbeer together."
"And go to Celestial ball next year without worry of going to the Forbidden forest!"
"Oh yes! That would be lovely!"
"You need to join me in helping Hagrid with animals next year! I think you are going to love it!"
"Of course! I would really like to try it, you know I love animals."
"I know!" Fluttershy smiled happily thinking about how great next years will be at Hogwarts now that she has great friends to spend them with.

Sunset and Twilight were together at the library revising spells they have learnt.
"Okay, I can't take any more new knowledge anymore! I am done!" Sunset closed the book.
"Well I am not! I can't give up now I need to learn more!" Twilight wasn't able to stop from worry.
"Twi, I know you want to succed, we all do but you are overworking yourself! You already know more than enough and we all need a break sometimes!"
"But how can I take a break when so much is going to happen tonight? I need to be ready!"
"You already are ready! We all are as ready as we can be! Why don't you try to rest a bit now, maybe take a nap? You haven't slept much these days and I will wake you up when it is time to go?"
"Sure. But can you join?"
"Of course!"
And they went to the Slytherin rooms knowing there is a big fight waiting for them tonight. Who will win? How will it all end? There are many possibilities.
