A little Sparkling Blaze

Aria's POV
2 months later
I had just entered my fifth month of pregnancy, and me,Adagio and Sonata were hanging out at Dagi's house.

I had felt some contractions earlier in the day but hadn't thought much of it.

That is until my water broke.

"Girls." I told them. "My water just broke."

"What do you mean your water just broke?" Adagio asked me. "It's way too early for that to happen."

"I know, but Sunset told me I might have her early. I just didn't think she meant this early. Do you think she's going to be ok?"
As soon as I asked her that it's like a switch was flipped in her.

She became the big sister that always knew what to say and what to do to make everything work out in the end. She turned to Sonata. "Sonata go get the car ready."

Then she helped me up while Sonata ran out the door. The she turned her attention back to me. "You And Sparkling are going to be alright."

"How do you know? I ask her not sure if I believe her.

"Easy." she tells me. "If something bad was going to happen I would have seen it. And do you think I would have let you go home from the hospital if something was? Now let's get you to the hospital, I'm looking forward to meeting niece."

By the time I arrived to the hospital,my contractions got worse,I could barely talk.

They rushed me into C-section.

And after 3 hours in labor I had my daughter in my arms.Dagi had called Dash and she was on her way from her new job interview to here.

Sunset then walked in,she had also just discovered she was pregnant.

"Aria,I have some bad news."She said."She haves 50% chance of living and 50% chance of dying."

I couldn't believe what she had just told me. That can't be true can it? I look at her looking for the slightest chance she could be wrong.

"Sunset I know she was born early but that doesn't mean she's getting get that bad."

She sighs. "You're right she might not be, but there's just as good a chance she will be."

The realization of what she just told me starts to sunk in. "I can't lose her...you have to do something."

"I'll do all I can."She assured me.And in that moment Dashie arrived.

She entered the room and gave me a kiss.

"How is our little girl doing?"She asked.

"Well,Sunset tell her."I sighed.

"Look Dash,Sparkling seems to be doing well for now but that could change with how early Aria had her she has 50% chance of living and 50% chance of dying."

Dash then sighed:

"Do what you can,Sunset."

Sunset then left the room.

"I'm worried Dash."I told her.

"Ari,she is as tough as you she'll get throught this."

"How can you be so sure?" I ask her.

"Easy." She answered me."

"Don't tell me it's because Dagi didn't have a vision about her."I interrupt her.

"Oh no nothing little like that. It's the fact she's our daughter, and we can't lose her."

A few weeks went by...

Sunset just entered the room and she was smiling:

"Aria I have good news,Sparkling isn't in risk of dying anymore."

"Really?!"Relief filled me."That's amazing news,Sunset."

"Not only that but the fact she is a siren made her fully develop. You and her can get home."

"That's great." I tell her. I still can't believe it. After going through everything... things might finally be going good? Can that really be happening?

Dash interrupts my train of thought:"That's awesome. Ari you get her ready while I go get the car."

I get Sparkling ready and we go home.

After everything that happened we finally had our little girl, our little Sparkling Blaze in arms.

As we went home I wondered what the future might bring for her.
