210. Three Women in a Train Cabin Where Anyone Could Just Walk in and See Them

Rarity opened the door to the train cabin she shared with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy and she tried to restrain her laughter at the awkward situation she walked into. Not because the situation was funny exactly, but Rarity simply had no idea how else to react.

“Need a towel, darling?” Rarity asked Fluttershy, whose tongue was more than up to the task at hand, which was… quite a sight for Rarity.

“I’m good,” Fluttershy said with a wink.

“S-sorry about that, Rarity,” Pinkie said with a furious blush across her face as she hastily got dressed. “One thing just kinda led to another, y’know?”

“I do,” Rarity grinned, thinking about a similar scenario she had been in recently. She clapped her hands and dismissed that pleasant thought until later, though not before wondering if Twilight wouldn’t mind helping her recreate the scene before the night was over. “Ahem. I’m just happy to see that things between you two are on a fond note again. I heard what happened from Rainbow Dash.”

“We’re uh,” Pinkie looked at Fluttershy, who sat on the seat beside her and draped a wing across Pinkie’s back, Pinkie biting down on her thumbnail. “We’re working things out.”

“Nothing brings two girls closer,” Fluttershy said with a sweet smile, “like one of them nu—”

“OKAY SO ANYWAY!” Rarity shouted awkwardly, looking to make sure no one else was around to hear Fluttershy’s absolutely filthy tongue. Rarity wasn’t even sure why she reacted so strongly, she was among friends after all, but she supposed it was simply indecent to talk about such things so frivolously!

Though… Rarity couldn’t entirely disagree with Fluttershy’s point. Perhaps she might even like to test it at some—

“Rarity,” Fluttershy licked her lips and Rarity felt like she was on another plane of existence where only the two of them mattered, “I can show you what I mean if you—”

“AHEM SO,” Rarity cleared her throat loudly and awkwardly, cheeks stained a deep burning red.

“Why’re you so flustered, Rarity?” Pinkie giggled, a normally adorable sound right now running through Rarity’s ears like a cruel jest. “Fluttershy told me you guys kissed, so I kinda assumed you were like an item now.”

“Oh, yes, I suppose that’s true,” Rarity nodded, twiddling her fingers in front of her. Why was she getting so flustered? It’s not like flirtations were anything new to her, but something about the way Fluttershy did it made Rarity feel so… vulnerable.

“I apologize if I was coming on too strong, Rarity,” Fluttershy said with a bow of her head. “The last thing I want is to make you, or Pinkie for that matter, feel uncomfortable.”

“You’re fine, love,” Rarity assured Fluttershy, reaching over to place her hand atop of the sweet yellow dragon’s, “you’re absolutely perfect. I’m afraid I’m simply not used to… being flirted with, I suppose. I’m usually not the one who gets all flustered, and it’s a new experience that will take some getting used to.”

“It’s not that new!” Pinkie snorted. “Remember that time in the library? When we had the big party and everyone made you blush super hard? That was hilarious!”

“Oh har har, it was an absolute delight for sure,” Rarity grumbled, crossing her arms and leaning back in her seat. It actually was a delight. Why was Rarity pretending like it wasn’t? Just habit, she supposed. Fluttershy wasn’t the only one with demons.

It was certainly something to think about.

Later. For now…

“Fluttershy, darling,” Rarity licked her lips, “it was very nice what you did for Pinkie Pie. Would you mind too terribly if I returned the favor?”

“Hmm, what do you think Pinkie P—” Fluttershy looked over to see Pinkie, hands clasped in front of her and tongue falling out of her mouth, stars practically in her eyes. “Rarity,” Fluttershy’s glittering green eyes locked with Rarity’s and she felt a shiver up her spine, “I would love that.”
