Chapter Eight (Deleted Scene)

As we went back to the dorms after the duel between me and Zane, we were not aware that the shattered pieces of what remained of the Shadow Sniper card had taken the form of an actually shadows. They began to merge together into one shadow.  “This is not over Christopher,” he said to me from the beyond. He then disappeared into the darkness of the night. He was going to get revenge on me and I didn’t know he was still alive.

As I slept in the Slifer Red dorm, I couldn’t help but get the feeling that the Shadow Sniper’s presence around me and the others with me. I was bunked with Jaden and Syrus was next to our bunk. I didn’t know if Jaden could sense the presence that I could sense.

In the dream world…

I was in class, ready for the next subject. Jaden was next to me and Syrus to him dozing off as usual. It made me smile, I always wonder why he always sleeps during class. But at the same time, I really didn’t care. Then all of a sudden the teacher looked up at me with green glowing eyes that was all too familiar to me.

I started to try and wake up Jaden from his sleep, but he was harder to wake up than a koala bear or perhaps sleeping beauty under a spell. I looked back at the teacher and he became black as Luna’s nights. Then Jaden, Syrus, and the other classmates around me disappeared as the scenery changed into a room of black. When the scenery changed I was no longer sitting and was now standing. The teacher turned into shadow and went into the darkness.

I started looking around the room trying to find him. But I could not see a him - or a bloody thing for that matter. He had blended in with the darkness around me. When I turned around again and out comes a demonic shadow which pinned me down to the ground. I tried to break free from his grip, but it wasn’t working very well.

I looked into the shadow’s eyes which were emerald green as well. His teeth were sharp and was just absolutely horrifying to say the least. Then the shadow suddenly just as quick as he had appeared and pinned me down to the ground. I slowly got back up on my feet and began to constantly search for that one shadow. I was just too scared to think about what was going to happen next or what was going on.

Then again the shadow demon pounced on me pinning me down again. I began to break free again and again, I couldn’t push him away. The demon gave out a horrifying laugh that may haunt me for maybe the month. Luckily, Luna came to help me - and just in time, thank god for that. She sent a magical energy blast on it knocking it off me.

O	nce the demonic shadow hit the ground, it suddenly burst into a cloud of smoke. As I got back on my feet, I put a hand on my neck because I was thrashing my head for a few minutes. “Are you okay Chris?” Luna asked me.
“Yeah, yeah I am,” I nodded to her, “What in the name of the Winged Dragon of Ra was that?”
“I honestly don’t know,” she replied to me, “It seems to be a creature of Shadow Sniper’s magic.”

“Hold the phone there, how the heck is that possible?” I exclaimed with shock and horror, “I thought that Zane destroyed him, didn’t he?”
“Yes, Zane did indeed destroy him,” the dark blue Alicorn nodded, “Perhaps it maybe Sombra’s doing.” I just didn’t want to think that Shadow Sniper was still alive after that duel. He had to have been destroyed by Zane’s attack with Cyber End Dragon. However, I wish that was true for me and my friend’s sake.

Back in the real world…

I open my eyes as I sat up and turned down at my watch. It was about 3:30 in the bloody morning, I had to go back to sleep. That’s what I did, I lied back on my bed, and closed my eyes. I still wondered if the Shadow Sniper is watching, or maybe was watching me while I slept. And I had no doubt in my mind that it could have been him.
