The limitless universe, dark, vast, cold, and peaceful. Here our story begins when- “OH MY SUNBUTT! This place sucks! Barely any color, nothing to drive crazy, and peace? Bleh! How boring. This universe could use a bit of fun if you ask me! Now, what should I do to liven things up?”
The Draconequus known as Discord shouted to himself as he floated aimlessly in space. His words going unheard in the vacuum, instead, a speech bubble appeared beside him. He put a hand on his chin as he sat down on nothingness and grabbed the speech bubble, which he processed to eat carelessly.
“Eureka! That’s it!” Discord tossed the half-eaten bubble behind him which blew up a nearby moon. “A party and I know exactly where to have it.” He smirked as he snapped his fingers and appeared in front of a blue planet that had various other colors here and there. “Perfect~ A captive audience to awe at my powers! Time for some fun!”
Discord’s idea of fun was cotton candy clouds, chocolate milk rain, showers of shooting stars, roads turning into dirt, giant colorful bubbles of music, turning the ground into chess boards, and much more all day & night with each hour making the scientists down on the planet lose more of their sanity with each change. Finally, after an entire day of causing chaos, Discord decided to finish his party by destroying a planet for the little creatures. He aimed his finger at a distant star and fired a blast of powerful magic. He smiled and leaned forward, waiting for the sound of destruction but instead, he heard a clang and turned just as the magic was rebounding to him.
He dodged just in time but then heard an eruption behind him. He turned slowly to see the planet he had been entertaining was now broken and cracked into six large chunks.
“Well… that wasn’t supposed to happen.”
“DISCORD!!!” A voice tore through space itself and Discord sighed as he crossed his arms and an angry white alicorn appeared in a flash of light. “You have some explaining to do!”
“Ahh, my dear Celestia, how are you on this fine day, my love?” She flew towards him, sticking her horn right under his chin.
“Extremely pissed. You dumped Spike off on Luna. Again.” Discord sighed and rolled his eyes.
“You were the one that said the boy was too small to handle my parties. He could get hurt, you said. He needs several thousand more years before he masters his powers, you said.”
“I also said that you could actually be a good father and raise him some. He’s never left Paradise Estate and wanted to actually show you his magical improvements.”
“Oh please. Last I heard you and your sister just barely taught him an attack that could destroy a moon. When he can blow up a planet then we’ll talk.” Celestia frowned as her horn glowed anda whip of light sprung out, wrapping around Discord’s neck. “GAH! Okay okay! Uncle!”
“Spend time with your son or so help me- What did you do to this planet!?” Celestia gasped mid-sentence as the sight of the cracked planet finally gained her attention, prompting her to glare daggers at her husband.
“Well… I had some fun is all…”
“A bit too much! This was one of my favorites! You better fix it or you’re staying on the couch for a thousand years!”
“Uuuugggghhhh fine! I’ll fix it. Now, don’t you have a spa thing right now?” Celestia looked at the sun before groaning and gave Discord a quick kiss on the cheek before the whip tied around his neck again.
“You’re right, Luna’s already waiting on me. Now you keep my boy safe or I’ll really show you my bad side. See you later.” He rubbed his neck as she vanished.
“Sheesh what a dominatrix…”
“A what dad?” Discord jumped and turned to see a tiny draconequus behind him. Like his father, the boy’s body was comprised of various creatures and animals, differing with nearly all of him being various tones of purple. The head and body of a snake, his face sporting the single horn a rhino, the right arm & tail spade of a dragon, his left arm that of a rabbits paw, his right & left legs the hooves of a deer & pony respectfully, changeling wings, and a flowing pony mane inherited from his mother that could possibly be comprised of green flames. His emerald eyes, like his fathers, are perhaps the most jarringly attention-grabbing part of his body with them being a piercing combination of youthful innocence with torrential, untapped chaos.
“A dominatrix, it means she rules Trix.”
“Like the cereal?”
“Exactly. Now if you don’t mind I have to clean up… wait a sec… Spike.”
“Yeah, dad? Is there something I can do for ya?” Spike asked excitedly while his wings fluttered and his tail wagged.”
“Relax, it’s a simple job. See that cracked planet over there? I want you to go down there, find the Elements of Harmony, and use them to fuse the planet back together. I would but I’m a bit busy and touching those things always feels warm and peaceful, bleh!” Spike stared down at the planet and tapped his paw and claw together.
“U-umm, are you sure dad? I’ve never been away from home! I could get lost or hurt!”
“Please no real son of mine could lose to anything down there. Your mother always goes on and on about how smart you are, so use that brain of yours to figure this place out. I’ll tell you what, do this job and I’ll take you out for ice cream after, okay?” That deal destroyed the last bit of resistance in Spike and he agreed.
“Deal! I’ll fix the planet dad, promise!”
“Good now get going. Hmm, wait that form won’t do you any good down there… let’s try this.” Discord snapped and Spike turned into a human. “Nah, too OC.” He snapped again and Spike was a griffon. “I get hungry just looking at you.” He snapped again and Spike became a changeling. “Your aunt hates bugs.” He snapped over and over until he stopped and Spike was trying to catch his breath. “Perfect! A dragon.” Spike looked over himself, he was indeed a full dragon with purple scales and green spikes.
“Okay! So how do I get down there dad?” Spike asked while looking down at the planet but turned when he heard a snicker. Discord was holding back a finger and was smirking. “D-dad?”
“Happy trails!” He flicked Spike and the dragon rocketed towards one of the chunks of the planet, the part called Equestria.”
