Twilight's POV
I was pacing around the hall in front of classroom nervously. My first class was Charms but I couldn't stop thinking about the note. What could that possibly mean? Was it sent from Trixie? There is no one else it could be from that got angry at me.
"Hey, is this maybe a Charms classroom? I got a bit lost" random girl with green eyes stopped me. "Also are you alright? You've been walking around here nervously for a while."
"Yes, yes, I'm fine! Just a bit nervous!" I sounded even more nervous than I was.
"Okaaaay." the green eyed girl replied. You could see she got a bit worried.
"Also this is Charms classroom. It will probably start any minute."
"Awesome! Do you maybe wanna sit together?"
"Sure! I'm Twilight!"
"Applejack! I think it's starting! Let's go in!"

The class started, teacher greeted us, tried to remember our names and started the lesson. I couldn't concentrate on the lesson though. I was thinking about the letter and Slytherins and Sunset. Also, even though I don't like to admit it, I couldn't help but think about Rainbow Dash.
She is very brave to stand up to Trixie like that. They seem to have a past. She also seems nice, she doesn't even know me and helped. I wonder which class is she in now.
The class finished earlier since this was our first class and I headed with Applejack to get some lunch.

We met there with Sunset.
"Hey there!"
"Hi! This is Applejack. Applejack, Sunset."
"Nice to meet ya!" Applejack said.
"You too! How was your first class?"
"Awesome! I am so excited to finally start to learn stuff" I've said.
"Me too! I have just had Potions thought. There was this strange girl. I think her name was Pink something. She blew her potion and we had to exit as an emergency. Professor Snape got so angry!"
"Oh no!" I've replied.
"OH NO!" Applejack said. "You mean Pinkie Pie? She is my cousin."
"Uh, don't worry, she seemed fine and laughed the whole time. It kinda made Snape even angrier."
"That does sound like Pinkie. I should probably go check up on her. I will talk to you later."
"See you Applejack!" I have said.
After she left I have told Sunset about what happened and the message. I feel like I can trust her.
"She did WHAT? Oh don't worry, I can fix that! She will never come close to you again!"
"No! I mean that's really nice of you that you are protective but we don't know if it was her."
Sunset sighed. "You're right! But I don't want anything bad happening to you. We need to figure out who this was. I'll help you."
"I agree. Thanks."
"Happy to help."
We continued eating and talking about our first experiences in class. Apparently Sunset and I have Care For Magical Creatures together. I really feel comfortable in her company.

My next class was Potions. Apparently I have it with Trixie. Yay, how great! But luckily, there will also be both Applejack and Rainbow Dash so I guess it will not be bad.
I came late. I am usually never late but this time I got lost and came late. Guess who was already sitting together. Applejack and Rainbow Dash. And guess who had only empty seat next to them. Trixie. Oh fantastic!
"For your first lesson you will be working in pairs" professor said. Even better I have to work together with Trixie! What could possibly go wrong?
We were working on the potion, mainly avoiding conversation but then she really had to ruin that. "I have heard you wanted to be in Ravenclaw. Too bad you're not smart enough!"
"At least I am smarter than you!" I was annoyed.
"I don't know. I am the great and powerful Trixie after all! Completly from line of purebloods!" Trixie said as I eyerolled at her. "I assume you are not a pureblood. What are you? A half blood?"
I refused to answer.
"Oh wait! You aren't... no, it can't be!" she started laughing and I was getting more annoyed. "I can't believe we have a Slytherin muggleborn in our year!"
She burst out laughing and I couldn't contain my anger and shoved her head into our potion. That.... didn't go well with the professor.
"10 points from Slytherin! I had bigger expectations from you Sparkle!"
Trixie got cleaned up and we all continued. She was so happy about me getting in trouble. But I wasn't paying attention to her anymore. My mind drifted to Rainbow Dash. She was working with Applejack and they seemed to have a lot of fun. They even seemed.... flirty? I don't know if it's just my jealousy or are they really flirting. I hope they are not! That would complicate the situation a lot! I mean they are just talking. I don't even know what about! They are probably just plantonically joking. But then why does it bother me so much? I have only met them.
Trixie seemed to have noticed me starring at them. "Oh, too bad Rainbow won't ever notice a girl like you."
"What does that even mean?"
"Just that you're too.... nerdy for a girl like her to be with you."
"First of all, you don't know anything about people crushing on each other, do you? It doesn't matter if you are different. Feelings don't work like that, you can crush on anyone! And second of all, why would I care? I have only met Rainbow!"
"If I know one thing then that is to notice when someone likes someone else! And you practically scream I like Rainbow Dash" she sounded annoyed.
"Let's just get back to potion!"
"If you say so. But don't you dare to deny what I've said. You know I am right."
I eyerolled at her. Am I really that obvious?

After I had Transfigurations with Pinkie Pie, she really is unusual. Very fun I have never met someone like her. She literally introduced herself like "Hi! I am Pinkie Pie! There's a non taken seat next to me. Want a lolipop?" Which made me more comfortable because she was nice.
After all my classes ended I decided to explore around the castle. I was trying to find a library and a quiet place to read before the start of the year meeting with Slytherins in the common room. I did not expect a random girl who was in panic to approach me.
"Quick! Come with me!" she pulled me into some room. There were clothes and fabrics everywhere.
"Which hat looks better with this dress? The blue one or the yellow one?"
"You have approached me so quickly and pulled me into a random room in panic TO ASK ME ABOUT HATS?" I was angry! She scared me so much! I thought something happened.
"Well yes of course! It's an emergency!"
"You have scared me!"
"It is an emergency!"
I sighed. "The yellow one."
"Thank you, darling! I really needed to pair this quickly."
"Why?"
"I need to make as many outfits as I can for my botique back at home. I probably won't have much time over school year so I am preparing."
"You already have a botique? At 16?"
"Well yes, I always knew fashion is my call so I opened a business."
"Wow! That's impressive!"
"Thank you!"
There was a bit if silence as mysterious girl continued to combine outfits.
"Rarity" she suddenly said.
"What?"
"My name is Rarity."
"Oh, I'm Twilight."
"You're a Slytherin?"
"Yes. Honestly, I thought I would be a Ravenclaw."
"Oh, well, there is nothing wrong with either house. I knew I would be Ravenclaw but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I was something else."
"Oh, this reminded me! I still didn't tell my brother how my sorting went! I need to go!"
"Good luck!" Rarity shouted as I ran outside.

After long search I have finally found Shinning Armor and Cadence. They happily greeted me.
"Twily! How was your first day?" Shining Armor was excited.
"Yes, we want to hear all about it!" Cadence said.
"Well, there were ups and downs" I have said as I told them everything that happened. Except for the message part, I know I can trust them but I think it's better to not tell them yet.
"Ugh, that Trixie!" Shining was annoyed. "But Twily, we are so proud of you! My Slytherin little sister!"
"Thanks. I was worried of what you would think."
"How can we not be excited! All houses are great! I hope you aren't too sad you aren't in Ravenclaw" Cadence said.
"I was at first but now I am starting to like it more."
"That's good" said Shining, "because you will make the smartest best Slytherin! I just know it."
"Thanks." I was happy.
We continued to talk a bit and then I went to return to my room.

I was walking down the corridor when I got lost. I passed by a strange doors. It was different from others and it had a beware, stay away sign. It was dark but the light was coming from it. And then I've heard it.
The scream coming from it.
