//------------------------------// // The delivery // Story: Celestia's sight // by QueenCartoony //------------------------------// Celestia plotted her hooves onto the snowy ground, making soft crunching noises. Picking up one hoof at a time, she walked in her gold plated shoes slowly across the snow. While looking around, Celestia could see her work of the land being completely covered in snow, and being grateful for her job well done. While walking, Celestia remembered this morning to do something during her time of search. Celestia heard the report of King Sombra being found dead in his own land. Princess Luna came about in the room happy and cheerful "This is great news sister! Guards! send a troop of soldiers out in the frozen North to deliver King Sombra-" "I would like to this job actually" Celestia announced as she came in front of Luna. The Royal Guards froze. "What!? Why sister? They are just getting him to bring him here. Do you both have a treaty with each other Tia?" "Because I want to Luna, millennias back when we were young mares , he acted as if he the conqueror of the world and if he would die then no pony would ever find him. I am going there to show he is wrong." Luna stayed quiet. "Understandable, Sister. would you like me to come with you?" "No, I will be fine sister but, tell Twilight Sparkle that I am on an official secret duty if she comes to the castle. She must not know anything about King Sombra." "Yes sister, I will do that if it happens. I hope your trip goes well." "Thank you my dear sister." Celestia came closer and put her hoof around Luna. Princess Luna laid into the hug and came closer to Princess Celestia. She hugged her sister tightly and prayed the best for her. After that, the sisters let go and continued on with their day. A couple of years before this event, the sisters were thinking what to do about the Crystal Empire, Sun goddess Celestia was looking back into dimensions of what errors she did and how she could make this one the best. Luna after some time came to her side. She put a hoof on her shoulder and spoke "Sister, possibly freezing them would be a good idea." The older sister stopped using her vision and thought back on what choice her sister asked for her. "But in the other dimension when I froze King Sombra, he-". The Princess of night stared dead-pan at her. "Thou is fine sister, we shall have this be a barren wasteland." "And what?" "And let him be no more. That way the citizens of the lands can have their vengeance." After some time of her traveling and finishing looking at her memories, the Princess could see a lumpy dark figure in the snow, thinking it was most positively Sombra. When getting closer the former king's crown was turned up towards the air. The Princess turned her head to the side, a thin metal band with 4 curved spikes on each side and two smaller red spikes with a jewel in the middle. The thing seemed dead and colorless, Celestia not being able to tell what type it was without its color. Using her magic, she picked up the crown some to see that another piece of it was buried deep in the snow. She put the crown closer to her face and saw an outline that resembled hair coming from his scalp to the tip of his muzzle. I thought that was part of his mane? Apparently not. Using her magic once again and opening her trusty saddlebag, she placed the crown on the bottom and closed up the bag tight with the straps on it's sides. Picking her head back up she continued on with her short journey. While walking the feeling of a breeze came along and whispered past the Alicorns back. Trying to ignore it she trotted faster to the area of her search. Gosh, If only I was as accustomed to the cold as Luna. Gritting her teeth harder and ignoring the chills, she quickly came to Sombra. At first she stared at him, seeing if he could be alive at all and trying to joke around with her. Princess Celestia had some doubt and decided to cast a scanner spell to watch if a soul was in the body. After a couple seconds, nothing came up and Celestia agreed that he was gone for the better. Using her magic, she levitated the King onto her back. As the body came in contact with hers, the Sun Goddess shivered heavily, not being able to bear with how chilling he was. Wanting more than anything to go into any kind of warmth and having Sombra off, she quickly opened her wings and flew. Opening her wings widely and having to deal with more cold than she thought bargained for, she got higher and higher into the sky. Luckily, there was a cloud nearby. Also, her soldiers would be on that cloud, ready to take Sombra and her back to the castle. Seeing her goal point, she opened her legs out and reached for quite a large cloud. "Your Majesty! Are you alright?" The guards came close to the Princess as she stepped her hooves onto the soft cloud. "Oh yes Guard, just somewhat chilly." She used her magic and gave the body to her Knights. "Take him, please. I'm going to get warmed up" said Celestia as she quickly trotted into a small building built into the cloud they were staying in. "Yes your Majesty" both said in unison as they covered the tyrant in a white wrapping. °☆~°☆~°☆~°☆~°☆~°☆~°☆~°☆~°☆~°☆~ Loud laughter could be heard out into the grounds. Loud, victorius laughter. "Oh it is only the beginning of my Victory" said a Black unicorn with a curved horn that had a red tint to the tip. A big smile crossed across the Unicorns face as he levitated a crown similar to his original and placed it upon his head. "Tomorrow is another day..."
