"YES!!!! WE DID IT! WE ACTUALLY, FOR REALSIES, DID IT!!!" Pinkie shouted, grabbing everypony in a huge group hug.
"YES!!!! WE DID IT! WE ACTUALLY, FOR REALSIES, DID IT!!!" Pinkie shouted, grabbing everypony in a huge group hug.
"I think its time for a celebratory GROUP HUG!!" The party pony exclaimed with glee. Twilight and the other ponies all gasped for air under the unusually strong grip of of the pink pony.
"Pinkie...! C-Can't.... BREATHE....!" Fluttershy wheezed.
"Whoopsie! Sorry, girls!" Pinkie giggled, releasing her friends from her grip. As the Main Six took a moment to catch their breath, Celestia and Luna approached the group along with the squadron of soldiers that accompanied the two princesses.
"Thank you, all of you, for the extraordinary courage you all demonstrated today. Ponyville, and to a massive extension, all of Equestria thanks you for your actions today." Celestia said before turning her sight towards Godzilla.
"And I do mean all of you."
Godzilla just snorted, licking a rather nasty bruise on his arm. Godzilla definitely looked worse for wear from the fight with the alpha MUTO. His body was riddled with huge brusies, bloody gashes, and scratches of all sizes. His entire back was riddled with massive bloody scars and was still soaked in a blanket of dried blood from the loss of his dorsal spines. Despite the severity of his wounds, Godzilla will fortunately live. The sound of thunderous footsteps caught the reptillian Titan's attention, causing him to turn around as the male and female MUTOs approached the saurian. It seemed the two MUTOs had somehow survived the plummet and managed to climb back up only moments after Godzilla vanquished the alpha MUTO. The Main Six and the two princesses immediately went on the defensive, glaring at the two MUTOs while preparing for the inevitable fight.
"Get behind me, now!" Celestia commanded, igniting her horn with a golden aura. Fluttershy ducked behind the rainbow-maned alicorn before suddenly peeking her head out as she closely examined the three Titans' behavior.
"Everypony, wait.... Look!" Fluttershy spoke out. The two MUTOs approached Godzilla, letting out a series of clicks and trills. It looked like they were about to engage the saurian in another fight, but nothing could be further than the truth. In a bizarre twist of fate, the two MUTOs looked at Godzilla before bowing down before him. Everypony was, to say the least, baffled at the strange sight.
"This is unbelievable. Those beasts are bowing to Godzilla." Rarity spoke with awe.
"That's because.... They chose him as their new alpha..." Twilight said with a sudden realization.
"Thou mean to say that those beasts now believe Godzilla is their alpha? But they aren't even the same species." Luna said.
"Your majesty, if I may, all species of Titans belong to the same genus despite the myriad of differences the several Titan species have between one another, as me and Fluttershy discovered. MUTOs are a especially pack-oriented Titan species. Like wolves, they choose the strongest wolf in their pack to lead them as their alpha. The MUTOs had an alpha, the alpha MUTO, to lead them. However, Godzilla had managed to kill the alpha MUTO. In the MUTO's eyes, Godzilla proved to be even stronger than their previous alpha and thus he has proven himself to be worthy of becoming their new alpha." Twilight explained. The ponies turned their attention to the Titans as Godzilla approached the two MUTOs. The saurian let out a series of soft throaty grumbles as he licked the wound on the female MUTO's neck, as if he were solidifying a newfound bond. The two Titans briefly nuzzled each other before the two MUTOs went their separate ways, venturing deeper into the Everfree forest. Godzilla turned to gaze at the vast expanse of land in front of him for a moment before turning to face Fluttershy. Fluttershy looked at the saurian, her face becoming rather crestfallen as a sudden realization dawned on her. Godzilla was far too large to live with her in the cottage now, and the pegasus knew she couldn't be able to meet his needs anymore. Fluttershy took to the sky, hovering in front of Godzilla's face.
"Look how big you've grown.... It felt like only yesterday you were this tiny defenseless hatchling just coming out of his egg..." Fluttershy croaked, her voice breaking as she fought back tears. But it was inevitable as the pegasus' eyes began to flood with tears.
"I... I know you have to go out in.... the world all on.... your own now. I just want you to know that.... no matter where you go.... I will.... always be here to love you. I love you with all my heart...."
Godzilla looked at the pegasus with a look that could have been the Titan equivalent of a smile before slowly pressing his snout closer to the now sobbing pegasus, watching as she immediately embraced the saurian's snout in a hug. Watching the two souls embrace each other, Twilight and the others could do nothing but shed a few tears themselves from the emotional sight before them. Of course, Rarity began dramatically sobbing like the drama queen she was. After a moment, Fluttershy finally let go of Godzilla's snout, looking at the saurian with a teary-eyed smile. Godzilla looked at Fluttershy, giving her a look that told her they will see each other again. Godzilla finally walked off, leaving the group of ponies he considered his family to their own devices. Fluttershy landed on the ground next to Twilight, watching as Godzilla headed towards the Everfree forest.
"Fluttershy, for the record, I think you'd make a great mother one day." Twilight said with a smile.
"To be completely honest, I feel like I already am." Fluttershy replied with her own grin. As Godzilla approached the edge of the forest, he turned around to face the ponies one last time. A confident expression on his face, the reptillian Titan took a deep breath as he raised his snout to the sky and let loose a powerful earth-shaking roar.
"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGK!!!!"
