Maretropolis the home to the power ponies Zapp, Radiance, Mistress Mare-velous, Masked Matter-horn, Saddle Rager, and Humdrum but this story isn't about them it's about the seventh member of the power ponies fili second the fastest mare alive and her adventure in another universe it all starts during training.
"How fast did I go this time?" Fili second said running up to Humdrum.
"Your .5 seconds faster than you were yesterday," Humdrum said holding up a stopwatch.
"Uhg still not fast enough to stop Shadow Strike!" She said stomping in anger and frustration "if she isn't stopped who knows what might happen".
"Maybe you should..."
"Try again, perfect idea Humdrum" Fili second said, cutting Humdrum off now getting ready to try again "now get ready with the stopwatch".
"No! What I was going to say was you need food and rest, your working to hard for your own good, your body needs to rest" he said walking in front of Fili and stopping in between her and the track "go home rush" at this she gave him a cold look for he just said part of her real name (which was actually 'sugar rush') while she was wearing her suit.
"I thought I told you never to call me that!?" She said looking more frustrated than before.
"You did but your my friend and I know you wouldn't listen unless I got your attention which I did" Humdrum said folding his legs in front of his chest "now like I said before, go home, get some rest, and eat something before you pass out again".
“Augh. fine Drum Beat i’ll go home”.
“And you yelled at me,” Humdrum said, raising an eyebrow.
“Yeah I did but see that it has pay back” Fili second said with a smile.
“Alright now get going” Humdrum said, giving her a push.
“Okay okay I'm going sheesh” she said as she sped off.
“And don’t come back till you're well rested!” Humdrum yelled to Fili, as she ran home Fili second couldn't stop thinking about the last time she fought Shadow Strike, it was a stormy night, the other members of the Power Ponies were off on a mission and she was left behind with Humdrum to protect the city while they were gone, she was on patrol when she was hit by a baseball bat sending her flying into a wall, when she looked up she saw a pony in black and grey with goggles over their eyes holding the baseball bat.
"Hello Fili second, nice to see you again." Shadow Strike said in a mechanical voice.
"Shadow Strike, don't you ever take a break?" Fili second asked while pulling herself out of the wall.
"Why do that when you've yet to learn who is the fastest, obviously it's me but it seems like your body is fast but not so much for your brain." They said, obviously smiling under the mask.
"Take that back or I'll.."
"Or you'll what? Try to run me to prison? Face it Fili, I'm faster and smarter than you'll ever be." With those words Fili second went full speed ahead and attacked Shadow Strike, but it seemed like they were one step ahead, like they knew what she was going to do before she did it, like everything was planned.
"Hold still and fight me!" Fili second kept throwing punches, but Shadow Strike ran too fast out of the way, they ran all the way to the tallest building, where Fili saw her worst fear.
"Oh, who's this hanging off the building? Oh, it's your friend, sugar cookie." Shadow Strike said standing next to Fili second's sister.
"No, let her go Shadow Strike!"
"Nope, sorry no can do."
"Why? What do you want from her?"
"Oh not from her, from you."
"Fine then what do you want from me? Do you want me to say you're the fastest? fine I'll say it but let her go!"
"Oh no I don't want that."
"Then what?"
"I want you to know how it feels to lose the people you love and be completely helpless to save them, I want to see you break into a million pieces and with you could take their place."
"No, please don't."
"I'll let you say goodbye."
"Fili.." Sugar Cookie began before Fili second interrupted.
"I'll save you Cookie I promise."
"It's okay Fili, there's only one thing I want you to do…"
"Time's up." Shadow Strike's hoof started vibrating.
"Make sure I'm their last kill." Shadow Strike stabs Sugar Cookie in the heart, tearing it apart.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Shadow Strike runs off leaving Sugar Cookie limp, Fili second brings her corpse on to the building and holds her while crying.
"I promise Cookie, I'll do everything in my power to stop Shadow Strike, and protect this city from her, no matter what." She said through the tears, fast forward to the present time, tears ran down her face, stinging from the wind, "I made a promise, and I intend to keep it." She said as she ran passed her hotel, and kept running faster and faster, trying to push past the tiredness of her body and get faster than ever before, unbeknownst to her, as she runs a field of energy starts building around her, getting stronger as she runs faster and her emotions start getting out of control, the energy becomes lightning as she taps into a part of the speed force she never tapped into before, as she tapped into it a portal forms in front of her and she runs through with only one thing in mind, "must go faster." When she reaches the other side she runs head first into something's legs causing them both to crash, the red abject flies into a bush and she hits an iron carriage knocking her out.

"Barry are you okay? You suddenly stopped and your heart rate went up like you hit something." Cisco asked through the comms unit.
"Yeah I think so, not so sure about what I hit though, it looked like a pastel pony." Barry gets up and looks at what he hit, "uh guys, I hit a pastel pony in tights."
"You're joking right? That's impossible, for one a pony can't be pastel unless it's coat is dyed, second how is it in tights? And third, how did you not avoid it? There's no way a pony was fast enough that you wouldn't have time to avoid it." Caitlin said in confusion of what Barry just said.
"I'm bringing it in." Barry picks up Fili second and runs back to Star Labs, when he gets there he puts her on the bed in the med bay, "like I said, pastel pony in tights."
"She's so cute, but misshapen." Caitlin looks over Fili and takes her suit off.
"Why would someone dye a pony, let alone give it a tattoo on it's butt." Cisco says, trying to see the logic of it.
"I'll run some tests to see if she's okay."
"Are you sure she's a she Caitlin?"
"Look for yourself Cisco." Cisco and Barry look.
"Yep, she's a she."said Cisco, Barry then gets a text from Iris.
"Hey guys I'll be right back, Iris needs help with her sister." Barry runs off to help Iris babysit her baby sister while Cecile and Joe are out of town.
"Guess it's you and me."
"Nope, my girl needs me too, I only came to catch up and help with this one guy, call if you need me." Cisco walks to the elevators.
"Wally?"
"Sure I'll stay, besides you might need help when she wakes up."
"Thanks," Caitlin said, Wally walks over and starts helping her with the tests.
