//------------------------------// // Chapter 12 // Story: Velvet's Time at Disneigh // by Creativa-Artly01 //------------------------------// Over the following months, Velvet and Nightlight begin planning their wedding. They laugh, joke, and play games as they plan things late into the night. “I can’t wait to marry you,” says Velvet as she shares a kiss with her beloved Nightlight. “And I can’t wait to marry you,” Nightlight responds blushing and with a smile. “Do you have any idea for location or a date?” “I want to do it here, at Disneigh. Date-wise, why not the day we first met?” “Works for me, anything to make you happy, Velv,” responds Nightlight. The two share another kiss. A few hours later, the two head off to work and then go their separate ways in the park. Velv goes to the Princess Hall while Nightlight goes to the ticket booths to await the arrival of the day’s guests including the Miracle Fund foals. An hour after that, the park opens and is flooded by visitors and the Miracle Fund colts and fillies. The Miracle Fund foals then head straight to meet the princesses especially Snow Veil who is Velvet’s character. Velv then happily greets the smiling foals. “Hello all you little princes and princesses,” Velv says with a smile. “Hello, Princess Snow Veil,” say all the foals giggling and smiling. They then give her a great big hug. Velvet can’t help but smile. When she sees them, she thinks about her beloved Miracle and can’t help but tear up a little bit. These foals really mean a lot to her. She wishes she could do more for them. That night after the park closes, Velvet changes and sneaks Nightlight onto the dragon boats and the two talk and share kisses and discuss more wedding plans. The two spend about an hour in the park before eventually parting ways and going to their homes. When Velvet arrives home, she is greeted by her mother. “Late night wedding planning, dearest?” Her mom inquires. “Yes,” responds Velvet. She doesn’t want to tell her mom they stayed overtime just to hang out in the park after its closing for the night. “Now I’m off to bed. I’m tired.” She heads off to her room and turns in for the night being careful not to disturb a sleeping Aura. Alas, as soon as she hears her sister enter the room, the filly pops awake. “Hey sis!” Squeals the filly. “Finally home from hanging out with Nightlight?” “Yeah, now go back to bed,” says Velvet with a sigh, snort, and roll of her eyes. Aura nods and goes back to bed. Velvet then hops into bed herself and falls fast asleep and happily dreams of her wedding day she’ll soon be having with Nightlight in the coming months.
