The next day, Rainbow Dash and Raph decide to do the day patrol again, while the rest of the group was at the castle.
Pinkie Pie and Mikey were eating pizzas and cupcakes, Twilight and Leo were reading some books and Donnie was creating a retro-mutagen with the mutagen that Zecora had found when the Kraangs came back to invade Equestria.
"Good thing Zecora found a flask of mutagen left by the Kraangs." Said Rarity.
"Yeah, or we never would make Applejack and Fluttershy back to normal, I mean, if they really were mutated." Donnie said.
"But of course this is not just for our friends, we also need enough for the other ponies that have been captured" Rarity reminds.
"Sure, but as soon as we can find them." Donnie answered.
"Oh, I really hope we will find them." Said Rarity worriedly.
"Don't worry, Rare, I'm sure we'll find them." Said Mikey
"Or they will find us." Said Pinkie
"Huh?" Mikey was confused.
"Yeah, maybe the Kraangs will send one of these mutants to attack Equestria, and that's even a good thing, because if we can't get to the mutants or the Kraangs, they will come to us." Pinkie said smiling.
"Wow Pinkie, that was a great argument." Mikey said.
"Thank you, but this is just a guess." Pinkie said while she went back to eating her slice of pizza with cupcake.
"But I think Pinkie is right, remember when that Kraang was talking to Shredder on the communicator?" Donnie said.
"Yeah, and he said he wanted to create mutants for his next attack, is it that kind of attack?" Said Rarity.
"And if it is, when it will be, it could be today or tomorrow or I don't know." Mikey said.
"Or maybe at parties." Pinkie said, and everyone (except Mikey) looked at Pinkie frowning at her.
"What? Parties attract everypony, even mutants, I think." Said Pinkie, while Donnie and Rarity beat their hooves on their faces.
"Well, but some are right, no matter when or how it is going to happen, we need to be prepared, we never know when a threat may arise or occur." Twilight said.
"Okay, so that's why we're going to do a training day today." Leo declared.
"Yay! More ninja training! UWU!" Pinkie cheers.
"Okay, but first I need to finish the mutagen." Said Donnie going back to creating the retro mutagen.
"What about Rainbow Dash and Raphael?" Rarity asked.
"I'm sure they are doing something important." Twilight said.

But actually, they weren't. While in the skies of Ponyville, Rainbow Dash and Raph were practicing flying maneuvers and challenging each other.
Rainbow Dash was flying fast with only one punch, and soon she was done cleaning.
"Like I said, I can clear the sky from clouds in 10 seconds." Rainbow Dash bragged.
"Huh, not bad." Raph pretend unexpressed.
"Now I want to see you do exactly what I did." Rainbow Dash challenged.
"Pfff, this is going to be easy." Said Raph, coming out of the cloud and started flying fast.
He hits some clouds clearing the sky, when he thought it was over he came back.
"Like I said, easy." Raph boasted.
"Actually, you failed." Rainbow said.
"What !? But I cleaned ..." Raph is interrupted.
"You left those clouds behind." Rainbow said pointing to three clouds that were not taken.
Raph just frowned, feeling humiliated.
"Allright, Rain-dumb-ow, so now show me the best you can do." Raph said dryly.
"Well, I can do something much better than clearing the sky from clouds." Rainbow said.
"Really? Then show me, i dare you." Raph challenged
So Rainbow Dash flies very fast and very high.
"What is she going to do, go to space?" Raph wondered.
And when Rainbow stops flying high, she starts to fly down and much faster than before, Raph was just confused.
"Is that what she is going to do, meteor? Huh, if she does that, she will end up killing herself." Raph joked, smiling meanly.
But then, Its speed increases, causing a shockwave, Raph seemed to be a little worried and confused about it.
"Wait, is she really going to do that?!" Raph said, shocked and confused.
The shockwave and her speed grew stronger.
"Oh shell, she will do it!" Raph said worriedly. "Rainbow Dash, I withdraw challenge, you don't have to do that!" Raph yells at Rainbow.
But Rainbow was too far away and too fast and so she didn't hear Raph.
"Rainbow! Rainbow Dash!!" Raph yells at her again.
And Rainbow still doesn't listen, and her shockwave was already getting stronger.
"It's over, I can't look!" Raph covers his eyes with his wings.
And the shockwave got stronger and stronger, Raph only then folds his wing a little to see a little.
And then, Rainbow Dash makes a rainbow explosion, forming a vibrantly-colored ring, known as her famous Sonic Rainboom, Raph's mouth fell open and white eyes were so shocked that he was, Rainbow Dash makes round shapes rainbow lines, after making these turns, and the ponies that saw Rainbow Dash's famous Sonic Rainboom cheers to her, Rainbow goes back to the cloud where Raph are, and she did not fail to notice that Raph was really shocked by that.
"Are you impressed, huh?" Rainbow Dash asked smirking
"W-What ... But ... You ... I thinked ... What ... How ... W-W-W-What was that?!! And how did you do that?!" Raph stammered and asked completely shocked.
"That, my buddy, was my famous Sonic Rainboom." Rainbow replied.
"Girl! I thought it was going to turn into a meteor and explode!" Raph said, still shocked.
"Oh, were you worried about me?" Rainbow smirk.
"Worried? I wasn't worried. About you? No way." Raph lied.
"Uh huh, I see." Rainbow still smirk. "So what did you think, awesome or not?" She asked.
"Yeah, I thought it was good, not bad, for a pony." Raph lied, because he really thought that was really awesome.
"So, what do you want to challenge?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Actually, enough challenges today, we should now be on patrol as we decide to do." Raph said.
"Okay, let's do it." Rainbow said.
The two pegasus flew to the skies, watching Ponyville.
"Everything looks good, the ponies are walking the streets quietly, the foals are playing happily and the Applejack family is making a great sale of apple food, selling it with just 10 bits." Rainbow analyzed.
"Wow, you have a great view." Raph said.
"Thanks, it was actually because of that that I passed the Wonderbolt test, it's a long story, I'll tell it later." Rainbow said.
"I didn't want to know anyway." Raph said dryly.
Raph also started to observe, not as well as Rainbow Dash, but he could tell that everything was really fine.
"So, how do you really get that Sonic Rainboom thing?" Raph asked.
"Look, to do that you have to be very fast, and it just so happens that I am the fastest pony ever." Rainbow boasted.
"And the most spoiled." Raph joked while rolling his eyes and frowning. "I mean, how do I ... do this too?" He asked.
"Look, I guess..." But before Rainbow finished explaining, she heard some screams. "Wait, did you hear that?" She asked.
"I think so." Raph answered.
Rainbow Dash flies to where the screams were coming from, she stops and fixes her vision to try to get a better look at what was going on, but then, she is shocked by what she saw.
"What's the matter Dash?" Raph asked.
"There" Rainbow pointed.
Raph looks and was also shocked.
"Oh shell!" Raph said.
"This is a big problem, we need to warn others, quickly!" Rainbow spoke and fast flight.
"Wait for me." Raph warned and flies along with Rainbow.
What did Raph and Rainbow see that shocked them?

Meanwhile at the Twilight castle, the rest of the group was outside the castle, training.
Twilight trained his blows and defense with Leo, Rarity and Donnie trained their magic and Pinkie taught Mikey to make sense of her.
"So, is it just me feeling a vibration in the tail to know that there is a danger?" Mikey asked.
"Uh huh, this is another one of my Pinkie sense." Pinkie Pie explained.
"But how do I get this sense like you?" Mikey asked.
"For that, you need to have a LOT of reflection." Pinkie Pie explained. "So let's get started," she ordered.
Meanwhile in the training of Rarity and Donnie, Donnie tried to levitate himself, he forced his magic, but nothing happened.
"Ugh, it's no use, I can't do it." Donie got tired.
"Don't give up darling, you just need to try just a little, and as I said before: Concentration and focus." Said Rarity.
"*Sigh* Okay, so let's try it again." Said Donnie, using his magic again.
While in the training of Twilight and Leo, Twilight did some blows against Leo and Leo defended himself, and each did the same thing as the other.
"Okay, you're getting really good at this, Twilight." Leo praised.
"Thanks Leo, so are you." Twilight praised.
"You know, you can also use one of the secret attacks." Leo explained.
"Really? What are one of them?" Twilight explained.
"There's one I like to do." Leo smirked. "A Pounce Suprise!" He says.
"What?!" Twilight was confused.
But then, Leo pounced Twilight, the two rolled, but it turned out that Twilight managed to catch Leo and pins him, that makes Leo suprise.
"Ha, pinned ya." Twilight smirked.
"Hey, let me up!" Leo pushes Twilight, taking her on off him
Twilight stands and closes her confidently while Leo smirk crouches looking sneaky and pounces on her again, the two rolled around laughing while passing the others who were training, but again, Twilight pinned Leo again.
"Pinned ya again." Twilight smirked, while Leo frowning.
But then the training and fun ended when everyone heard Rainbow and Raph calling out to them.
"Guys! We have a problem!" Raph said.
"A big problem, there is a mutant attack in Ponyville!" Rainbow explained.
"Mutants?!" Said Leo.
"Attacking Ponyville?!" Twilight said.
"That's it, they are also attacking other ponies!" Rainbow explained.
"Is this the attack that Shredder was talking about?" Rarity asked.
"It seems so." Donnie said.
"But now one thing I don't understand, why does he want these mutants to attack Ponyville? What's the reason for that?" Mikey asked.
"Maybe because he doesn't like Ponyville?" Pinkie asked.
"It doesn't matter now what the reason is, we need to save Ponyville." Twilight said.
"That's right, come on guys!" Leo did.
The whole group runs to Ponyville.

The group finally arrives in Ponyville, where it was being attacked by three types of mutants, it had one with several horns not only on the head but also on some parts of the body like the back, the other had an ugly birdbath and four wings and the the last one looked like a bull but more monstrous.
"Oh my Celestia!" Twilight said shocked.
"Do you think these are the ponies that have been mutated by the Kraangs?" Rainbow asked.
"Certainly, because I have never seen such creatures in my life, except dragons, griffins and all that." Said Pinkie.
"Donnie, please tell me that you are finished with the mutagen" Rarity asked.
"Yes, it is finished." Donnie replied, using his magic to make the retro-mutagen appear.
"But that is not enough for all of them." Twilight said.
"I got it." Said Donnie, using his magic and doubling the retro-mutagen in eight.
"Man, you can do anything with magic." Mikey was impressed. "Aww, I wanted to be a unicorn now." He was distressed.
"Okay, everyone takes a retro-mutagen and throws a mutant to see" said Donnie.
"We are going to separate, we saved some ponies that are being attacked by these mutants and we turned them back." Leo did.
"Alright everypony, let's go!" Twilight ordened, and everyone gets in on the action.
A pony was running away from the four-winged mutant, but the flying mutant catches the pony with its eagle claws, and before the mutant takes the pony away, Raph kicks the mutant causing him to drop the pony that fled after that.
"Go get somepony your size, you feathered." Raph curses the mutant who soon got mad about it.
He tries to peck at Raph, but Raph dodged well, but the feathered mutant uses his eagle claws and grabs Raph by knocking him to the ground, Raph tried to break free of those claws, but the mutant was stronger than him.
"Ugh! Rainbow Dash, the retro-mutagen!" Raph calls Rainbow.
"I'm coming, Raph!" Rainbow answered, going over to Raph with the retro-mutagen.
"Be careful that it doesn't hit me, or I become a little turtle again." Raph warned.
"Relax, i got this." Said Rainbow, who then threw the retro-mutegen at the mutant.
The mutant starts to groan and scream, taking his claws off Raph, who soon took advantage of this to get up and leave.
"Wow, thanks girl." Raph thanked him.
"No need, man, it's a pleasure to help a..." But before Rainbow completes... "Spitfire!?" She says something else.
"Spitfire? What is a Spitfire?" Raph asked.
"No, Spitfire over there." Rainbow pointed out, and it is revealed that the feather mutant was Spitire, the captain of the Wonderbolts who was unconscious.
"Spitifire!" Rainbow calls her and goes to her to help her, then Spitfire wakes up, groaning and a little weak.
"What? Rainbow Dash? W-What happened?" Spitfire asked.
"You mutated and got out of your mind." Raph explained
"But we both maked you back to normal." Rainbow explained.
"Oh, well, thanks." Spitfire thanked.
"Listen, do you remember one more thing before you were mutated?" Rainbow Dash.
"Well, I remember I was trapped in a cage just like the other ponies, I think we were trapped in a place far away from Ponyville and Canterlot, in the middle of the Everfree forest." Spitifire told.
"In the middle of the Everfree forest? It must be somewhere there that the Kraangs are hiding." Rainbow thought.
"Do you remember one more thing?" Raph asked Spitifire.
"No, that's all I remember." Spitfire replied.
"Thank you, Spitfire, you helped a lot." Rainbow thanked.
"Now let's go help others." Raph said, and the two ran to help the others.
Meanwhile, Mikey helped a pony who was being attacked by the mutant bull, then Pinkie arrives with the retro mutagen.
"Take this, horned!" Pinkie shouted and throws the retro-mutagen at the mutant, who soon started to groaned and becomes a pony again.
Then the many-horned mutant, Donnie distracts the mutant so that Rarity throws the retro-mutagen at him. She threw the retro mutagen and the mutant groan and returns to be a unicorn.
"I think it was all already." Said Rarity.
"I also think so." Donnie said.
Then Rainbow Dash and Raph arrived.
"Guys, we discovered something!" Rainbow said.
"What? What do you discover?" Pinkie asked.
"We found out something about the Kraangs." Raph said.
"Spitfire, who had been mutated, told us that the Kraangs are somewhere in the Everfree forest." Rainbow explained.
"In the Everfree forest? What else did she tell you?" Twilight asked.
"She just remembers that, that's all she said." Raph replied.
"Well, that at least is something." Said Leo.
"Okay, so we know where the Kraangs are, but now the question is, where are they at?" Donnie asked, but then the group heard screams of fillies.
"I guess we'll have to find that out later." Said Leo.
"Someone else is in danger!" Said Rarity worriedly.
"Come on everypony!" Twilight ordered and everyone runs to where those screams are coming from.
When they arrived, they came across another mutant, who appeared to be a pony mixed with a Timberwolf, that pony Timberwolf was chasing the CMC's, who were fleeing the creature.
"AAH! Stay away from us, you freak!!" Sweetie Belle cry.
"Not the girls again!" Rarity cry.
"Alright, i got this dog!" Rainbow said, flying to help the fillies.
The CMC's didn't know where to run and the mutant Timberwolf approached them snarling, but then, Applebloom's fear became confused.
"Huh? Wait, I think I know you, you looks familiar." Applebloom said.
But then, Rainbow Dash arrives and kicks the mutant Timberwolf in the face, the mutant wolf ignores the three fillies and growls at Rainbow Dash.
"Come and get me, you flea-ridden dog!" Rainbow curses, making Timberwolf angry.
Timberwolf tries to bit Rainbow, but she dodges the bites, Rainbow flew around the wolf, making the wolf angrier. The CMC's were watching the fight, but Applebloom, who was still confused and a little curious when she saw the mutant Timberwolf up close, decided to leave where she was and approach the mutant wolf.
"Applebloom! Where are you going?!" Scootaloo asked, startled.
"Don't do that, Applebloom!!" Sweetie Belle cry.
But even though her friends are calling her, Applebloom still walks to Rainbow's fight against Timberwolf. Then the mutant wolf drops Rainbow, pins her with his wooden paws on top of her and growling, Rainbow noticed Applebloom approaching her and Timberwolf.
"Applebloom! Get out of there! It's too dangerous!" Rainbow warned.
But Applebloom doesn't leave, she continued to watch the mutant Timberwolf, when she looks at his flank, she was completely shocked.
"*Gasp* I can't belive!" Said Applebloom shocked.
But then Raph arrives and punches Timberwolf in the face, knocking him off Rainbow and the rest of the group appears.
"Applebloom, stay back, we got this wolf." Rarity ordered.
"No, wait! You don't understand!" Applebloom said.
"What? What don't we understand?" Raph asked.
"I know who Timberwolf is, just look at her Cutie Mark." Applebloom explained.
"Her? How do you know she is female?" Mikey asked.
But then, Rarity looks at Timberwolf's flank and she is shocked.
"*Gasp* Oh my goodness!" Said Rarity shocked.
So the whole group looks, and they come across a Cutie Mark of three apples, now everyone knew that this mutant Timberwolf was their honest friend, Applejack.
"*Gasp* Applejack?" Twilight asked shocked.
