Shortly after, a portal opened up in another world, through which our heroes fell down onto a large wagon filled with hay. The girls were all wearing the kind of clothes found in medieval times, and spike was wearing a old fashioned collar.
"Ohhh, my head." Rainbow Dash said rubbing her head.
"Everybody ok?" Sunset asked. Everyone nodded their heads as they pulled hairs out of their hair.
"Yeah, now if I can just get the strawout of my fur, I'll be perfect." Spike said will shaking hay off himself.
"What the hay just happened?" Applejack said.
"Well, off hand, I'd say that those that book turned into a magic door that brought us here. " Pinkie said, much to the surprise of everyone else.
"I don't know what's more surprising." Twilight said. "What you said, or that you said it."
"Yeah." Pinkie said before looking confused. "Wait, what did I say."
"Pinkie's right." Twilight said. "The book must act as a portal here and who knows where else."
"Um, where exactly is here?" Fluttershy asked.
"This is the kingdom of Queen Grimhilde." said a voice much to everyone's surprise. The all turned to see a tall man dressed in green, with a satchel around his shoulder.
"Who are you?" Sunset asked.
"Name's Phinean, a vagabond by trade." Phinean said with a grin on his face.
"I'm Sunset Shimmer." Sunset said. "This is Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Spike, and Trinity."
"So, who is this Queen Grimhilde?" Trinity asked.
"She is the queen of the land." Phinean said before pointing to a castle. "She and the princess live in the castle over there."
"If you want, I could take you there as soon as we stop." Phinean offered.
"Thank you." Trinity said with smile. "That is very kind of you." But unknown to our heroes, Nomis and his minions had already arrived at the castle as if in search for something. They soon came to a room with a mirror on it. There, hidden in the shadows, they saw an icily beautiful woman with a serene, unfeeling face and a slender figure. This was Queen Grimhilde, also known as the Wicked Queen, and she has pale skin, red lips, green eyes and seemingly penciled-on eyebrows. Her features and her royal attire create a very stunning and beautiful Queenly image. The Queen is seen wearing a purple gown with long sleeves and a red rope belt tied around her waist. She wears a black balaclava that covers her ears, neck and hair, leaving her face exposed. The Queen wears a long black cloak that appears to be part of the cowl. The cloak is lined with red inside and the bottom of the cloak is lined with white fur. She has a high white collar attached to her cloak. She also wears a golden pendant that seems to connect with the collar. She also wears orange-yellow high-heel pumps. To top off her royal appearance, the Evil Queen wears a golden crown atop her head with 5 spikes on the front and a jewel on the tip of the middle and tallest spike. The color scheme of her attire represented her pride and vanity.
The Wicked Queen walk up to the mirror prepared to speak to it, for you see, this was no ordinary mirror. This was a magic mirror, capable of answering any question you ask it.
"Slave in the magic mirror, come from the farthest space." She commanded. As she spoke, wind blew onto her cloak. "Through wind and darkness I summon thee. Speak!" Lightning flashed and thunder roars as she said Speak. "Let me see thy face." A roaring flame appeared inside the mirror, then as it dissappeared, a face did reveal it'self to the queen. Nomis and his minions watched from the shadows. Nomis chuckled to himself.
"There he is, gentlemen." Nomis said. "The very Magic Mirror we've been looking for."
"What wouldst thou know, my Queen?" The Mirror asked.
"Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" The Queen asked.
"Famed is thy beauty, Majesty." The Mirror began. "But hold, a lovely maid I see. Rags cannot hide her gentle grace. Alas, she is more fair than thee."
"Alas for her!" The Queen said with her arms crossed. "Reveal her name." The Mirror only answered in three similes.
"Lips red as the rose. Hair black as ebony. Skin white as snow." Instantly, the Queen knew who he was talking about.
"Snow White!" She said in rage. Nomis on the other hand smiled, a sinister smile.
"I guess he hasn't lost his touch." Nomis said.
"And there are 8 new hearts that doth shine bright." The Mirror added. "Beware, my Queen, these hearts of light." This information made Nomis curious.
"Hmmm, interesting." Nomis said while scratching his chin. "This will require more information." Suddenly, the Queen came to the notion that someone was there.
"Who goes there?" The Queen asked. Nomis and his minions came out of hiding.
"Just a small group of travelers, seeking information from the Magic Mirror." Nomis said. "Perhaps you have heard of me. My name is Lord Nomis the Nightmare Bringer. And these are my minions, Bulk, Lank, Serpentinas, Triad, Trion, Triout, and Psyche"
"Those names is of no consequence to me." The Queen asked. Nomis was a bit dissapointed.
"Hmm, pity." He said. "Well, I'm sure you have better things to do then worry about us."
"Indeed I do." The Queen asked as she began to leave. "Ask the Mirror what you want, but know that unless you and I have something in common, I am not interested in anything you can offer." She then left the villains alone with the Magic Mirror.
"You're looking well, old friend." Nomis said as he approched the Magic Mirror.
"Perhaps." The Magic Mirror said. "But with each day that passes, I age 100 years. But time seems to have treated you well, Nomis."
"Yes, well that happens when your in a prison where time has no effect on your body." Nomis said. "So you serve another queen now, do you?"
"I serve all who seek answers." The Magic Mirror said. "Unfortunately, that includes the Queen and you."
"What do you see?" Nomis said.
"I see the machinations of a mad man, seeking power and vengeance for his imprisonment." The Magic Mirror answered, causing Nomis to chuckle.
"Am I really that obvious?" He asked before getting serious. "I know my plans are clear to you Magic Mirror, but what if anything stands in my way?" The Mirror then showed 8 stars in the sky, each of a different color.
"I see 8 pure lights stand against you." The Magic Mirror answered. "One that I'm sure you know, all to well."
"You mean..." Nomis said in concern.
"Yep." The Mirror answered. This made Nomis angry.
"This can't be right!" He said.
"I'm always right." The Magic Mirror said. "2500 years without a mistake. Not bad, eh?"
"And, what of my enemies" Nomis asked.
"They are still under the spell you put them under." The Magic Mirror answered. "But they will be awoken with a magic amulet from the wizard king."
"Hmm, so that my enemies will return to protect the world from me, eh?" Nomis said before turning to his minions. "Well, I think will need more than just the lot of you."
"So what's the plan boss?" Bulk asked.
"We will need to build an army of villains." Nomis said. "United in a common purpose. The complete and utter domination of a new world! And I know just where to start." They then approached the Queen and bowed. "Your highness, it would seem we have something in common after all."
