Chapter 8

“Cadence!”

At the look on the face of the boy she used to be head over heels for, Cadence couldn’t help but blanch.

The image of him between her sister’s legs made her cringe.

Without a second thought, she spun around on her heel and immediately moved in the opposite direction with her books in her arms.

“Cadenza! Wait!”

“What do you want, Regal?” She asked with thinly veiled annoyance as she stared ahead. The party had been less than a week ago.

The taller boy fell into step beside her as they moved down Canterlot’s crowded halls. “Look... I just wanted you to know that what happened between me and your sister honestly wasn’t my intention.”

“I really don’t want to hear it,” She huffed. “Who you and your friends have sex with is none of my concern.”

Regal was silent as he processed her words. “I’m sorry that you walked in on that, but we were all having a... nice...” He could feel the anger rolling off of her. “Fuck! I just don’t want you to think less of Chrysalis about what happened. She’s a nice girl even if she does have a... uh...um... voracious appetite.”

Cadence groaned and whipped her full mane around to tell him off, but the look of remorse on his face stopped her.

His hazel eyes made her heart skip as her anger began to cool. “I just... I’m sorry any of that happened. And honestly... I know it doesn’t mean much now, but I only came to that party for you. Your sister really doesn’t compare to you in the same way. No offense, but everyone kinda feels that way. I know I ruined it now, but for what it’s worth I’ve always like you. I should’ve never fell for your sister that way.” He gave her a lopsided grin. “I hope we can at least be friends still. But I understand if it’s too weird for you.”

With that, he gave a mock salute and faded into the crowd of students going about their day.

“Cadence?” She could make out Shining Armor’s worried expression in the darkened theater.

“Sorry!” She shook her head and dropped her disgusted scowl as she finished switching her phone to silent. The group minus AppleJack had teamed up to catch the new ‘Mane 6’ movie.

She looked to her right to see Twilight and the gang whispering and snatching at the single bucket of popcorn they’d purchased.

“I’m going to grab another bucket,” She stated with a shake of her head. That one was already half gone.

“Well you better hurry before the previews end!” The eldest encouraged teasingly.

“Hey bring back a box of JuJu’s!” Rainbow Dash whispered poorly.

“And Twizzlers!” Pinkie added.

“Ugh!” Cadence mocked groaned.

Rarity rolled her eyes and passed her her debit card. “You guys are such moochers! Can you bring me a coke?”

“We got you next time, Rarity!”

Hurrying away, Cadence beelined for the concessions line and pulled her phone back out. Staring down at the text she had yet to respond to, she chewed on her bottom lip as she allowed her fingers to swipe over the keypad hesitantly responding.

‘Are you offering?’

An ellipsis prompt appeared.

“Hey, Celie!” With teal tresses pulled back in a ponytail and dressed in her gym clothes, Chrysalis had her phone against her ear with one hand and a water bottle in the other. She plopped down breathlessly, enjoying what little break she had at a local fight house gym.

“Chryssie? Where are you?” There were grunts and faint smacking noises the elder alicorn was able to make out.

“Combatives training,” she answered after taking a long swig of Gatorade. Her parent’s insisted on some type of extra-curricular activity instead of her prowling the city at night.

“Oh wow, fighting? Why is that not surprising?” Celestia joked on the other end.

“How do you like Uni?” Chrysalis rolled her eyes ignoring the playful barb. She’d only been coming to class for about three weeks now and was surprised at how much she liked it. It was the perfect outlet. A student from her weight lifting class convinced her to try. She looked across the floor to said student viciously working a bag.

She cringed as she tuned back into her cousin.

“I love it, actually.” Celestia was saying. “There’s a girl in one of my classes that’s a serious mega bitch though. She’s smart but she’s greedy.”

“But you like mega bitches...” She placed her water bottle down as she stretched her neck.

“Sometimes.”

”And greedy like how?”

“She really wishes she were me. Like seriously.”

“You cause you’re perfect? Or you cause you’re rich and perfect?”

“Spoken like a true Mega bitch.” Came Celestia’s knowing tone.

“Well, you do like me...” Chrysalis smirked.

“The second one.”

“Oh... Another Alicorn groupie?” She groaned. “Well that’s to be expected, Celestia. Honestly, Cadence is already the school sweetheart now. Imagine if people knew she were an alicorn.”

“And you?”

“I’m the new Mega Bitch...” Most people were startled by her sharp tongue and unimpressed expressions. “Most people don’t even know we’re related.”

A sigh. “I wish you’d-“

“And I’m going to stop you right there.” Every morning she shoved that shit so far down that sometimes it wasn’t real. She wasn’t having this conversation today.

“Chrysalis!”

“Celestia! It’s done... I’m done with it.” At the looks she was receiving, the teen calmed down.

“I can hear it in your voice! You are not done with it!” A groan. “You could at least talk to her... We’ve been talking, her and
I-”

“And tell her what?” Was her hiss.

“The truth!”

“She wouldn’t believe me...” The apricot sweetheart across the room motioned for her to glove up.

“But you’re sisters!”

“I have to go, Celestia.” She hastily ended her call and grabbed her hand wraps.

“You ready, Rude Girl?” Applejack called with a mischievous grin. While Applejack didn’t care much for her sarcasm, she recognized a strong fighter when she saw one.

“Bring it, Country Bumpkin!” Chrysalis had some renewed frustration to work out.

*****

Chrysalis spun around tossing her hair over shoulder before slipping over in a back walk. Sliding down into a split, she scissored, rolled over onto her back and arched up into the final pose.

Her dancemates stared at her with wide eyes.

“Any questions?” She smirked, she could hear Cadence giggling. The two locked eyes and Chrysalis winked at her sister.

“Ugh... Are you serious? I can’t even bend like that. Where do you come up with this stuff?” Said one of the dancers.

“Relax, with practice anything is possible. We have about three months until we debut this routine.” Chrysalis stood and rolled her shoulders. “Besides, you can thank your fearless new captain for this one! Cadie, get up here and face your minions.”

The other girls cheered and catcalled for the romantic teen.

“No one will know what hit them!” Cadence assured as she moved to stand by her sister, grabbing her waist affectionately.

“Not with you two on our team!” Another girl agreed.

After agreeing on a time for this week’s only practice, the girls dispersed as they had been given a thirty minute block for a mid-day meeting.

“You staying for anything today?” Chrysalis asked as she pulled her top back on over her sports bar.

“Not today,” Cadence smiled as she waited. “But me and Lyra are going to the mall. So don’t wait for me.”

Chrysalis rolled her eyes, “Don’t you guys go to mall enough.”

“There’s a boy at the skate shop she likes. I’m just there for moral support.”

“If you say so, Princess.”

“I’ll see you at home.” She moved to leave but stopped and turned back on her heel. “Hey... Thanks for voting for me.”

“You say it as if I did you a favor.” Chrysalis rolled her eyes. “Everyone knows you’re the best dancer here.” This year
Cadence was voted team captain in a very close bout.

“Yea, but Mistral was your friend.” Magenta eyes softened as she spoke of one of her sister’s friends.

“And you’re my sister, she’ll get over it.”

Cadence flashed her brightest smile and threw her arms around her sister and loudly kissed her cheek much to her chagrin. “Cadence!” She wailed.

“Love you, Chryssie!” She giggled stumbling away when her sister pushed her. “See ya later!” She waved as she hurried out of the gym

Shaking her head with a smile, she put her things back in her bag and exited the gym to find Regal Royale waiting for her against the door.

“You’re really good at that, you know.” He fell into step behind her with that devil may care air about him.

She sighed with annoyance. “Good at what, Rich Boy?” He always lingered around the gym when they practiced.

“Your family’s richer than mine.”

“What do you want?” She asked glancing at him out the corner of her eye.

“I want to know what I can do to get better acquainted.” He wriggled his eyebrows suggestively.

Chrysalis shook her head. “Don’t waste your time, you’re not in my league.”

“Is that right?” His expression changed and the Halfling couldn’t help but laugh.

“That’s facts.” She raised her head as she spoke saucily.

“You treat all boys interested in you this way?”

“Only the sleazy ones.” What did Cadence see in this fuckboy?

“You wound me, Chrysalis.”

She rolled her eyes. “What do I have to do to get you to leave me alone?”

“How about a kiss?”

“Hmmm...” She stopped as she pretended to think on it, “No.” Some kids snickered at the two, not bothering to hide their eavesdropping.

She moved to walk away, but froze when she felt him grab her wrist painfully.

“No one likes a rude girl.” Hazel eyes sparked with something she couldn’t decipher as s chorus of ‘Oooo’s’ echoed around them.

Swallowing a flare of anger, Chrysalis turned as she softened considerably towards him.

“I’m sorry Regal, let me make it up to you...” She took a step closer to him and placed a hand on his chest. Leaning forward teasingly, they breathed in the same space as she chuckled sensually. “Dream about me much?”

“That’s more like it,” he grinned. Before their lips could touch, pain exploded between his legs that stole his breath.

“Keep dreaming!” She spat as she watched him sink to the ground, cradling his groin in pain.

The hallway of students around them erupted in a sea laughter and gasps.

“Fuckin’ bitch!” He hissed as he writhed in pain.

“Proudly,” she laughed over her shoulder strutting away with all the power she was known for.

Regal smirked at the memory as he thought about the dark-skinned beauty that had spurned him.

While it infuriated him to have her reject him, it made it all the sweeter when he had her writhing beneath him that night at the party. A hazy pleasure pervaded his system as he thought of her now.

The slurping sounds of the girl currently sucking him off, pulled him out of his reverie.

He felt his body began to tremble as he realized he was closer to finishing.

This girl was pretty but she was no Chrysalis.

Fisting his hand in her long dark locks, he imagined teal tresses and defiant emerald eyes staring back at him daring to finish.

“Fuck,” he hissed, holding her head in place as he bucked his hips into her face, choking her.

God, what he wouldn’t do to have that changeling bitch back underneath him.
