Princess Luna and Flutterbat flew over to Sugarcube Corner, the best dessert place in Ponyville. As they landed, Flutterbat turned to Luna.

"Do they have apples here?" Flutterbat asked.

"Yes they certainly do" said Luna, "They have plenty of apple flavored desserts, I don't fancy them but you might".

Luna did enjoy some desserts like chocolate and blackberry jam cake, but she didn't love them as much as her sister, Celestia did. As soon as they were inside, Flutterbat hovered over several apple pies and licked her fangs.

"They all look so good, I don't know which one is better, I want them all!" shouted Flutterbat.

Luna was quite enjoying this side of Fluttershy. Luna had socialized with her sister and other friends like Twilight Sparkle, but Fluttershy wasn't somepony she imagined spending time with. Now of course, Luna wanted to be social with plenty of ponies, she grew up being the little sister and not getting as much attention and love as she wanted; and she became so bitter that she ended up cursing the night to last forever and almost hurt everypo-"Princess?", a voice called out. 

Luna opened her eyes, she must've gotten lost in her thoughts. To this day, she still feels terrible for the things that happened all those years ago, ponies have forgiven her and she didn't feel as bad as she used to; but she always believed it was hard being a reformed villain. 

"Yes Flutterbat?" Luna replied.
"Don't feel sad now, it's a beautiful night and everypony is enjoying themselves, maybe we should too." said Flutterbat.

Luna smiled at Flutterbat. She was right of course, it was a very beautiful night. Luna was excellent at creating the perfect night for all ponies to enjoy. Luna paid for 3 Apple Pies, one for herself, and two for Flutterbat and they both left.

Later, Flutterbat and Luna were laying down in the grass, looking up at the stars. 

"I did make one constellation that looked beautiful, but apparently my magic worked all too well and it literally flew away from the rest of the stars." Luna said
"It's certainly missing out, maybe that one constellation can lasso her back here". Flutterbat said.

Luna giggled, she didn't get to talk about the stars with anypony. She had enjoyed this night with Flutterbat. Luna had hoped Flutterbat could come out every full moon, maybe even every night.

Suddenly, a horn could be heard in the distance. 

"Oh I must lower the moon, once the sun is raised you'll be Fluttershy again." Luna said.
"I'll see you tomorrow night then?" Flutterbat asked.
"Of course" replied Luna.

They both hugged and flew away back to their homes. Luna had a great night with a great friend and she had hoped to see her again very soon.
