//------------------------------// // Ch.9:Friendship Games Part 3 // Story: Silent Dawn // by Blueelectric //------------------------------// Aria and Silent walked outside of the front of the school and sat down on the top of the stairs. "So, what do you think about all this?" Aria asked her friend beside her. Silent wrote something down in her notebook. "Stressful. What is this "pony up" thing everyone is talking about?" "Do you know that trick Dash did at the prep rally, with the pony ears and all that?" Silent nodded. "That's what they called it. All six of them can do it but only Rainbow and Fluttershy grows wings. Me and my sisters did something similar to it, but only when we tried to take over the world." Silent wrote something down in her notebook. "I know you told me about it one time, but why did you three do it?" Aria sighed and looked at her hands. "We just wanted to go home. I know our methods of doing it is wrong, but we had no choices. We did something bad from where we from and we wanted to apologize." Aria gazed at Silent with a soft smile. "But that's in the past. I don't want to go back if that means leaving you." She took Silent's hand and look into her eyes. "You did so much for me and my sisters despite of what you had been through. And you made us feel like we belong somewhere. We don't even need our magic anymore." Silent smiled back and gave her a hug. Aria smiled bigger and hug her back even harder. The embrace lasted for a few minutes until they heard the sound of multiple buses pulling up. They break apart and gazed towards the parking lot. Multiple large black buses had arrived with yellow and purple accents. On the sides were the letters S and B. Students filed out from them, all wearing red, purple and blue uniforms. The girls skirts had plaid patterns on them. "Huh, that must be the Crystal Prep Students." Aria commented. Two adult women followed behind them. One was tall, blue skinned, and with hair in different shades of magenta. She was wearing a small pair of glasses and had a snooty vibe from her. Beside her was a smaller women who was about Vice Principle Luna's size and pink skinned. Principle Celestia and Vice Principle Luna rushed out the front door to greet them. "Vice Principle Luna can help your students get settled if you'd like me to show you around, Principle Cinch. There have been quite a few changes since your last visit." Celestia told the blue skinned woman. Principle Cinch smirked. "Oh, yes, Principle Celestia. I'm sure that would be fascinating." She said in a thick British accent. Vice Principle Luna hugged the pink skinned woman. "Oh, it's always such a pleasure to see you, Dean Cadence. Even if it means another defeat." Dean Cadence chuckled. "Thank you, Vice Principle Luna, but I hear it's not going to be so easy this time." A tan skinned girl rushed past them. "Coming through!" Aria gasped in shock as a familiar looking girl stepped out as she bumped in another girl. "Seriously?" Asked a blue skinned girl with purple hair with pink streaks. A yellow skinned girl with purplest red and green streak hair was beside her. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to." The Twilight double apologize. She groans as she turn to the yellow girl. "Oh, sorry. Why don't you go ahead?" The other girl folded her hands together and pressed them against her cheeks with a smile. "You are such a sweetie!" Her mood suddenly switched as she glared at her. "I am watching you!" She sourly said in a hush voice. Aria took Silent's hand as she dragged her inside. "We have to tell the others!" She opened the room where she heard music playing. Their friends paused what they're doing and glanced at them. Adagio walked up towards them. "Aria, what happened? You look like you just seen a ghost." Rarity had somehow pulled out a rack of cloths. "Rarity, what'd you go an' do?" Questioned Applejack. Rarity rushed over and put a few outfits on all of them. "Well, I had a little time on my hands, and since we don't know what the Friendship Games' events are, I made a few options for uniforms!" Each of the girls were wearing different types of outfits for different things, including the four who isn't participating in the Games. Silent was wearing a tank top and shorts. She hid behind Aria, terrified for what the others might see on her skin. "You know us three and Silent aren't competing, right?" Exclaimed Adagio, who was wearing a hula dancer outfit. Rarity smiled at her sheepishly. "Whoops! Sorry about that, Darlings." Sonata who was wearing a surfer outfit smiled at Rarity. "That's alright. Even I forgot." Rainbow Dash was looking at her own outfit. "You really didn't have to do this." Rarity smiled as she pulled out a dress. "I know." Applejack stared at her. "No. You really didn't have to." Rarity giggles. "I know!" "Uh, Rarity, these outfits are great, but why would you put so much time and effort into clothes we might not even wear?" The apple farmer asked her friend worriedly. "Your gonna exhaust yourself before the games even start." The white seamstress waved her hand as she scoffs. "Oh, pff. Kch. Fff. Ts! Don't be silly, Darling!" She exclaimed. "Putting effort into cloths is what I lived for, and spending time on my friends filled me with energy!" Just like Rainbow, she started to pony up. All but Rarity watches with amazement. Sunset smiled. "And magic, too, I guess." She stared at Silent with concern. "Are you alright, Silent? Why are you hiding behind Aria?" They all turn to the scared girl. She slowly step out behind her and tried to cover up her arms. Sunset glanced closely at her arms with a raised eyebrow. She was about to ask about the markings when Rarity suddenly start to loose energy with her magic being sucked out. She fell onto the floor exhausted as the others helped her up. "Actually, Applejack, now that you had mention it," she gasped, out of breath. "I suppose I could use a tiny break." She faints as Applejack catches her. "I told you." The door opens and the Twilight Aria and Silent spotted appeared. All but Aria and Silent gasped. "Twilight?" Sunset step forward, smiling with hope. "No freaking way!" Exclaimed Sonata, who put her hands on her head. Twilight gazed at them surprised. "Uh, yes?" Applejack smiled. "Well, I'll be. You shoulda told us you were comin'" Rarity who had recovered, glanced up and down at her outfit. "Darling, those glasses. What are you wearing? It so...severe." Twilight glanced at her confused. "My uniform?" Fluttershy glanced at her curiously. "Your uniform for what?" The purple skinned girl answered. "For...Crystal Prep. But why does everyone at this school knows who I am?" "Did you just say "Crystal Prep"? Asked Rainbow Dash. A green and purple dog popped out of Twilight's backpack, barking happily. Silent smiled at the cute puppy. Rarity and Fluttershy gasped happily. "Spike!" Twilight look at them with shock. "You know my dog's name, too?" They turn to see Principle Celestia who was showing the room to Cinch. "And our music program has especially taken off." She gasped when she saw the Crystal Prep student. "Twilight?" The girl had a look of fright. "This is getting ridiculous!" "I must apologize for the curiosity of my prized student." Principle Cinch exclaimed. Principle Celestia stared at her. "Your student?" "The smart ones are always curious." She put her hand on her shoulder to pull her away. "I'll return her to check in with the rest of her classmates." Principle Celestia stood dumbfounded as both of them walked away. She glanced at her students in the room. "I didn't know Twilight had a twin sister." Pinkie Pie spoke up. "She doesn't! That Twilight is obviously the Twilight from this world since it couldn't be the Twilight from the pony world since the Twilight from the pony world doesn't go to Crystal Prep or wear glasses." She put her fingers around her eyes like glasses. The others stared at her. "Never mind." Principle Celestia said as she walked away. Sonata stared at Pinkie. "Wow! How did you know all that?" The pink girl shrugged. "Just a hunch." They walked out of the room and into the hallway as they got their normal cloths on. Silent secretly sighed with relief. "I can't believe our world's Twilight goes to Crystal Prep!" Fretted Rarity. Rainbow Dash gazed at her friend. "Your saying that Twilight's gonna play against us? She'd never do that!" "Our Twilight wouldn't." Fluttershy corrected. "Our Twilight is a princess in Equestria and an expert in friendship magic!" Shouted Sunset angrily. "And if she was here, we'd have already figured out why magic is randomly popping up during pep rallies and costume changes." She took a deep breath. "Sorry. I'm just frustrated that I haven't heard back from her." Adagio put a hand on her shoulder. "That's alright. You were in a lot of pressure." Applejack nodded. "She's a princess in Equestria. Probably got problems on her own to deal with." Rarity nodded in agreement. "We certainly can't expect her to drop everything and pop through the portal. Especially if it's to deal with something as minor as a few pony ups." "But they aren't minor!" The former unicorn argued. "Magic came into this world when I stole Twilight's crown." She crossed her arms with guilt. "It's taken a lot for me to earn everyone's trust. If we have to forfeit the games because I can't keep it under control..." She paused and leaned against the wall. "Oh, Sunset, I'm sure you'll be able to figure things out." Fluttershy encouraged. Applejack nodded, smiling. "You're the one who helped us understand what's goin' on with the sirens." Sunset stared at her sadly. "I guess. But Twilight was the one who really figured out what we needed to defeat them." Rarity walked over and brush a stray hair from her face. "But don't you remember, darling? What we needed to defeat them was you." Sunset sighed as she smiled. "All right." All but Silent cheered. The creamy brown girl smiled encouragingly at her. "Come on, guys!" Cheered Rainbow Dash as all but Sunset walked away. "Let's see if we can find any info about the events and come up with a strategy." She glanced back at Sunset. "You comin', Sunset?" "I'll... catch up with you guys in a bit." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Silent and The Dazzilings return home, exhausted for the day. Full from the party food they decided to lounge on the couch. "That was some party Pinkie threw." The rest nodded in agreement. "I can't believe that Twilight won the first round. I thought Sunset had it controlled." Adagio complained. "But it seems her classmates aren't that happy about it though." Aria added thoughtfully. "But what is that weird device around her neck?" Questioned Sonata. "I saw it suck the magic from Pinkie as she pony up." Adagio put her hand on her chin thoughtfully. "It does seem kind of fishy. That Principle Cinch doesn't seem right either. Did you see how her school acted after she spoke? Both schools were getting along too." "I don't like that Sour Sweet girl. I talk to her once, she seems so sweet at first then her personality change like that." Aria snapped her finger. She glanced at Silent. "Were you alright, Silent. You were so frightened when Sunset saw your exposed skin." Silent nodded smiling at her. "All righty, girls. Let's go to bed early. I'm afraid well have to get up really early if we want to support our friends tomorrow." Adagio said. The rest nodded in agreement. As Silent head to her room, she was surprise to see Aria following her. The purple girl smiled sheepishly as she scratched her head. "I'd figured you didn't want to be alone tonight. So if it's okay with you.." Silent smiled and gestured her in. "Okay. Thanks." She said as the both embraced each other.
