At the School of Friendship, Starlight Glimmer was trying to get all of the students into a safe tunnel with her friend, Trixie to get them to safety. “Stay with your buddy!” She said to the frightened students. “No running! Just follow Counselor Trixie!”
Just then, she heard a blast as she headed to a window and saw Queen Chrysalis crawling around outside the school, looking for Starlight. “Starlight, star bright.” She rhymed. “Where's the pony I want to fight?!” She was just itching for a fight with her since she “ruined” her changeling hive.
Starlight was frightened. She turned to her friend who was just helping the last of the students get to safety. “I have to go.” She told her friend. “You got this?”
Trixie, on the other hand, does got this! “Nopony does a great and powerful escape like Trixie.” she cooly and collectively told her friend. And with that, she went through the escape hatch.
Starlight Glimmer was ready to fight her mortal enemy as she teleported to the roof of the school, with Chrysalis doing the same, teleporting to Starlight! They were ready to duke it out...western style!
“Ah. Just the headmare I want to see.” Chrysalis said, getting ready to fight.
“You didn't make an appointment!” Starlight said with anger and determination in her voice. She was ready to fight her, when suddenly, three new humans appeared before them in colourful jackets, ready to fight her as well. They stood before the changeling. Their names: Connor McKnight, Ethan James & Kira Ford. Their mission? To destroy Queen Chrysalis and save the world!
Chrysalis was shocked as she walked up to the three humans to confront them. “Who are you?” She asked.
“Your worst nightmare.” Connor said to her. “You guys ready?” He turned to his teammates. They nodded as they got ready for what was about to come next. The gems on their arms suddenly morphed into a Dino plate like morpher on their wrist!
They got their Morphers ready. “DINO THUNDER...POWER UP!” The teens shouted, activating their Morphers, and just like that, they morphed into power rangers as well! They struck poses.
Starlight Glimmer saw them and was shocked. “M...m...more monsters?!” She said as she started to slowly back away.
“Roar of thunder...POWER RANGERS DINO THUNDER!” The teens introduced themselves. They were ready to take this changeling on!
Starlight Glimmer was shocked at the three new rangers that appeared before her. “Are these...legendary rangers?” She wondered in excitement and nervousness.

Either way, the rangers got ready to fight her. They summoned their weapons through their belt buckles and they appeared. Starlight Glimmer dived for her as they both teleported. The rangers followed them as they teleported too!
They arrived in the frozen north as they landed on the snow. It was cold, but it was about to get even colder. “What is this place?” Chrysalis asked in shock.
“Somewhere you can't hurt anypony!” Starlight bravely said to her enemy.
“Wrong. I can hurt you!” Chrysalis said as she got ready to take the blast.
“Wrong. We can hurt you!” Connor said as they got their weapons and charged directly toward her.
“Ptera Daggers!” Kira shouted as she used her weapons to slash the queen. She moved around pretty quick and attacked Chrysalis from all sides. The Queen tried to get a good shot of her, but to no avail. Kira jumped up and kicked her in the face and slashing her horn in midair.
Chrysalis was shocked that her horn was slashed. “MY HORN!” She shouted. “THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, GLIMMER!” She was furious.
“That...wasn’t me?” Starlight said in confusion. Chrysalis wasn’t buying it.
She tried to use what was left of her horn to blast the rangers, however, Ethan used his Triceratops Shield to block the blasts that went for Glimmer. “Is that all you got?” He asked as Chrysalis growled, further blasting the blue ranger, who kept blocking the blasts with the shield. He ran up to her and whapped her with it. “See ya!” He said.
It was Connor’s turn as he ran up with his staff in hand! He swung it at the Queen’s legs, then at her back as she fell. “Have a nice trip!” He said to the Queen. “See you next fall!” Chrysalis tried to smack him down, but he was nimble and quick on his feet as he jumped and swung his TyrannoStaff at her, knocking her down like a tri-delt!
Chrysalis started to blast him, but Connor jumped up and dodge the blast. He was ready to finish her off!
Starlight ran up to him to help. “Let me assist you, red ranger!” She said as she got into her fighting pose.
The Changeling queen growled. “I WILL DESTROY YOU!” She roared at the two. She got ready to blast them.
“Put it on our tabs!” Starlight said smugly, as she charged up her horn, ready to strike. Starlight fired a massive blast from her horn, while Connor swung his staff with a massive blast as well! Both blasts blasted the changeling Queen to the snowy ground.
The rangers regrouped with Starlight. Ethan and Kira were both excited and wowed that Starlight and Connor managed to take her on together. “That was awesome, Connor!” Ethan said to his teammate.
“Great job, Starlight!” Kira said to her, congratulating her. “You do make one heck of a ranger!”
Starlight just blushed at her compliment. Only at that moment, Chrysalis got back up. “WHAT ABOUT MY REVENGE?!” She shouted at the four heroes.
Starlight and the Dino Thunder rangers were ready! “Let’s finish this!” Connor said. “Combine our weapons!”
“Right!” Ethan and Kira said in agreement.
“With you all the way!” Starlight agreed as well!
The Dino Thunder rangers brought their weapons together to create a super Dino blaster! “Z-Rex Blaster!” They said, bringing the blaster out to her.
“I’LL OBLITERATE YOU!” Chrysalis shouted, ready to blast Starlight and cocoon her!
“Nope.” Starlight said. She was already one step ahead of her. “We will!” She charged up her horn while the rangers charged up their blaster!
“FIRE!” Connor and Starlight both shouted at the same time. And with that, they blasted Chrysalis clean off the ground as she hit a mountain, rendering her unconscious.
“Yeah!” All 4 heroes said, as they won this battle victorious!
“We did it!” Starlight Glimmer said in agreement!
Chrysalis got up and she furious that she lost! “I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE MY TOTAL REVENGE!” She barked. “BUT, NO MATTER...I’LL BE BACK FOR YOU SOON ENOUGH!” She jumped up, and flew away with whatever remaining strength she had with her.
The rangers and Starlight were proud that they won the battle. “Whoa.” Connor said. “Legendary power sure wears you down.” The Dino Thunder rangers got a call on their Morphers. “But, Jason needs us! Let’s go!”
“Right!” Ethan and Kira said in agreement!
“Jason?” Starlight asked. “Who’s he?”
“A leader of a band of rebels wanting to take her and two other villains down.” Connor told her.
“And we think three other of your friends, and Tyler are fighting some of them off in Canterlot Castle!” Ethan finished.
“Zoey, Nate and Steel?” Starlight asked. “Take me to them!”
“With pleasure! Come on, Starlight!” Kira said as they started toward the castle. Starlight nodded as she followed them, over to Canterlot. She was proud the Dino Thunder rangers came to help her defeat this insect threat. She could fought this alone! She could’ve been blasted and cocooned by Chrysalis for her revenge! But she wasn’t! She had help come and save her from such a horrible fate. She even now had new legendary allies, whom she now called friends. But now, she and her new friends had to quickly head over to Canterlot where a much bigger surprise would be waiting for them!
