1. Apples Help Each Other

Inside the big barn of Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack and her family are preparing their homemade apple cider for a party coming up that night. Apple Bloom is in a big bin, stomping the apples for the cider. Joining her is a young girl with flowing blond hair and wearing a magenta T shirt and blue bib overalls with the cuffs rolled up. As two big jugs of cider were filled up, Apple Bloom and the visitor got on the floor.
"Thanks for helping us out with the cider making, Apple White." Applejack praised.
"It is my honor to help." Apple White replied. "I was very surprised that I was invited to help with this cider party you and your family are hosting."
"We need all the help we can get, honey." Granny Smith said. "It's not often that a student from a storybook school like Ever After High could pay us a visit."
"Since Applejack told me that it's to help make this family’s well known apple cider, I'm all for it." Apple White saw Apple Bloom wave to her to come over. "Excuse me while I rinse my feet off."
As Apple White joins Apple Bloom to rinse their feet of any apple remains, the rest of the family look at their cider jugs.
"This should be a good amount of cider for our party." Applejack observed.
"Eeyup." big Mac replied.
"I hope nothing goes wrong with this party." Granny Smith said with concern. "You know what often happens.”
A few minutes later, the barn is being set up for their party. Apple Bloom went over to the visitor, Apple White, who was setting a table. "I never expected you to come over like this. You usually have on a pretty red and white ball gown type dress. Seeing as how y'all are the daughter of Snow White."
"I have that stored for later, Apple Bloom." Apple White replied. "Besides, since I heard that I was going to a farm, I might as well dress for the occasion."
"I never thought of that. Those overalls do look cute on you."
Apple White blushed slightly. "Aw, thank you."
Applejack came in to the conversation with a concerned look on her face. "I just hope nothing goes wrong this time."
Apple White got concerned. "You're worried about an appearance by the infamous Flim Flam Brothers. Aren't you?"
This shocked Applejack. "How did ya figure that out?"
"From what some of your friends told me, any time you have an event featuring your homemade apple cider, those twin tricksters find a way to swindle that cider from you."
Granny Smith approached the flabbergasted Applejack. "She does has a point, you know."
"Yeah, we are a little worried. " Applejack confessed. "Every time we have a party featuring our famous cider, those scalawags find a way to scam us out of our cider, leaving none for anybody."
"Eeyup." Big Mac added. "It even makes me mad."
Suddenly, Apple White thought of something. "Do you folks have rotten apples stored to make compost?"
"We sure do." Granny Smith answered. "We found a whole lot of rotten apples recently."
"Well, if you can bring out an empty bin, an empty jug, and tools to smash those apples, I might have a way to teach those con artists a lesson."
Soon, Applejack used a shovel to load a bunch of rotten apples into an empty bin. A hose was connected as a jug was positioned under the hose. Granny Smith lowered a lid on top of the apple pile. "This lid will make sure nobody has rotten apple smell on their feet."
Big Mac and Applejack jumped on the lid, squeezing bad apple stuff into the jug. Apple White became impressed. "I thought rotten apples give out an unattractive odor."
"Not in this case." Apple Bloom informed.
Later, Applejack and Apple Bloom were ready for the Flim Flam Brothers. Granny Smith and Big Mac returned to the barn.
"Any sign of them, Granny?" Applejack wondered.
"Nope." Granny Smith answered. "Big Mac and I kept a sharp eye out for them."
"Eeyup." Big Mac added. "Our good cider is safe."
Apple Bloom worried about something. "Where's Apple White?"
Apple White came out wearing her well known red and white dress. "Right here. I just had to change into my regular clothes."
Five minutes later, the barn doors swing open. Sporting their usual red and white attire are the Flim Flam Brothers.
"Greetings and salutations, Apple Family." Flim greeted.
"I hope you don't mind us dropping in." Flam added.
"I wish you wouldn't come by that often!" Apple Bloom replied angrily.
Granny Smith calmed her down. "Easy, child. Don't let those guys get under your skin."
Applejack approached the scheming twosome. "Y'all here to grab some of our cider again?"
"I wouldn't say grab, Applejack." Flam replied, fiddling with his mustache. "Me and my clean shaven brother would like to buy a jug of your delicious wears."
"And, I brought some shiny gold coins for proof." Flim said, opening a small bag.
Soon, Flim presented the family what looks like gold goins. Everyone was astounded. Granny raised an eyebrow. I have a feeling about those coins.
Suddenly, the brothers spotted Apple White among the Apple Family.
"Ah, Apple White." Flim announced. "This is a pleasant surprise."
Flam agreed. "And, what brings one the shiniest Royals of Ever After High to this location?"
"Applejack and her family asked me to help prepare their cider for a party later today." Apple White answered. "Of course, I didn't wear this dress when I helped make the cider."
"She's right." Applejack added. "Our friend dressed up in traditional farm clothes, and helped Apple Bloom smash the apples for the cider."
"A maiden who adjust to any environment." Flam said happily. "A very good notion."
"But, let's get back to business," Flim interrupted. "May we please have a jug of your tasty cider?"
Big Mac brings to the brothers a jug. "Here you are, fellas. No hard feelings."
Flam holds the jug honorably. "We thank you from the bottom of our hearts of gold."
"Speaking of gold," Flim said as he handed Granny Smith the bag, "here's our payment."
"Thanks, Flim and Flam." Granny Smith said. "You guys ain't so bad after all."
Outside, the brothers loaded the jug into the trunk of their car, and they got ready to leave.
"Pleasure doing business with you, friends." Flim said as he started the car.
"Let us know when you stock up again," Flam added, "and we'll be back."
The Flim Flam brothers drove off with the Apple Family watching. Apple White watched with glee. "Hopefully not too soon."
Later, Granny Smith and Big Mac set down two jugs on the table.
"You mean the real cider was in the house?" Apple Bloom wondered.
"Eeyup." Big Mac answered. "We hid them in a cabinet in the basement."
"Those shysters never look in the house for our goods." Granny Smith informed.
Applejack took one of the coins, and peeled off the gold. It revealed a piece of chocolate. "I thought those were chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil."
Apple White ate one of the pieces of chocolate, and liked this treat. "At least we got a sweet reward for your hard work. Too bad victory won't be as sweet for the Flim Flam Brothers."
Applejack poured two glasses of apple cider, and handed one to Apple White.
"Well, here's to more good times together." Applejack announced as she and Apple White raised their glasses.
"Cheers!" The Ever After High student added.
The girls drank their cider. Apple White was impressed with the taste. "Mmmm. That IS good."
