“Ness you sure do love your steak” a woman said to a boy in a baseball cap and striped shirt while he nodded up and down. He gulped down his steak and smiled.
Now this boy’s name was Ness. He is, to say the least: Special. He is one of the predicted children that are called in a now erased future the chosen four that defeated Giygas. Word spread like wildfire in dimensions and universes. He wouldn't brag about how he saved the world. No he did not. Instead he knew that without his friends, family, or his mother that he wouldn't had stayed alive for too long. He is now finished with his meal and looks at his mother, hoping she had more steak.
“Sorry Ness, all gone.” she said showing him three plates that big steaks once stood.
“Dang it!” he said while slamming his fist on the table. His mother shot him a look while his sister Tracy giggled madly.
“Well Ness, since its a school night, i think you should be going to bed right now.” his mother said to him. He let out a loud groan.
“Buuut why?!?” his mother turned to him with a smirk.
“None of the sass.” She said to Ness. He stomped off but then he turned around.
“Night mom.” He said calmly to only be greeted by a kiss on the forehead, He smiled and went to his room to get ready for bed. When he got ready for bed he got an off feeling. Like something is going to happen. He didn't know if it was good or bad, he just knew something was gonna happen. So he went to sleep only to be woken up by a ‘Ooo’ noise. He then rose up from his bed to only see that it was coming from under his bed in his room.
“The heck is that?” he looked at what was most likely a portal so in case, he put on his shoes, striped shirt, baseball cap, shorts, an endless abyss of a backpack, and his baseball bat and yo-yo. He then flipped his bed over with ease.
“Alright, what is-AUGH!” he was cut off by an invisible force pulling him towards the portal.
“Ugh… my head.” Ness said as he woke up in a hallway of some sort. Now it wasn’t no plain hallway he ended up in, nope! It was made out of crystal. Ness being a curious soul, touches the surface. It is without a doubt, crystal. He was shocked. He pinched himself to wake himself up from sleep. But all he felt was pain. Now he knew this entire scenario was real. He got himself up and walked around, exploring everywhere and wondering where the heck he was. He wasn't in Threed, Twoson, heck not even Dalaam! This was something real new to him. Very new to him indeed. Suddenly he heard a little ‘Pop’ sound behind him he turns around to see woman. She probably had black or deep deep blue fur with a mane with what look like stars embedded in the mane itself. She had on a robe and a set of wings and a horn. It was Luna. And she was giving Ness a death stare. Ness just looked at her with confusion.
"Human! what is your cause of being here?!" Ness just shrugged.
“Look lady, i don't even know where I am.” Ness said with a shrug. Little to say, she was mad, while Ness was looking around.
“Is this whole building made out of-” He was cut off by magic being shot into his chest. He then made contact with the wall, she smirked. What happened next shocked her.
“Yike lady calm the heck down. Jeez…” She saw him get off the ground with minimal damage other than a bruise on his back that wasn't visible due to his shirt. He got up, stretched and yawned, then closed his eyes.
“PK Shield β!” Suddenly, Ness’ body was protected by a bright light! Luna was surprised, she did not know humans could use magic! She quickly charged up another attack.
“It's your lucky day lady, you’ll be facing one of the chosen four!” He said. She then stopped and looked at Ness with a mix of confusion and disbelief. She then laughed out loud.
“Your are not one of the chosen four! Your too young!” She laughs even more only for Ness to become irritated.
“Call it lies or not, i am one of the chosen four. I’m telling the truth here!” He said while she had a smirk of confidence on her face.
“Well how about we check that head of your’s to see if you are lying!” she said as her horn lit up. Ness just counted seconds that passed by.
Her facial expression changed from confident to ‘What?!?’ in a matter of seconds. She could not believe this. As she looked upon more memories and saw that Ness had reached four corners of his homeworld in a span of a month. She saw him save Paula from the Happy Happy Cultist, fight the undead with a baseball bat and yo-yo, go back to the past with a robotic body, and finally The cave of the past. They were unable to go back as they pressed on. They battled machine after machine. And finally Giygas. She now learned Giygas's power became too great for even his own mind to handle, Giygas now exists as a nearly omnipotent entity without thought or reason; an "all-mighty idiot." After dealing with Pokey, they attempt to battle Giygas, but their attacks don't seem to be effective. As Giygas attacks them in ways they cannot comprehend, Paula prays with all her heart that someone lends them strength. As she does so, their acquaintances and friends from their journey return with prayers of their own and successfully help to vanquish Giygas. With one more useless insult, Pokey retreats to another time period. With the war against Giygas over… her horn stopped glowing she walks up to Ness
“I am very sorry for my actions umm…”
“Ness. My name is Ness…” he put out his hand to help her get up.
