Spitfire's POV

The plan is in motion, I told the girls about the plan and Fleetfoot, and Suprise squealed so loud that I probably got ear damage. The others were more quiet about it. Then I texted Rainbows friends the plan and they drove up here earlier today. Now we're at a carnival hanging out. In about 30 mins we need to take her to the spot without being very suspicious. Ohh and we won against Canterlot University! 21-28. Soarin finally had a good game. Though I shouldn't get too excited, they are a really bad team.
"Enjoying the Carnival RD?" One of her friends with Blonde hair said, "Ya look a little sad."
"Just thinking."
"May I ask what?" her shy friend asked.
"Soarin."
"Oh, darling, I'm sure he doesn't hate you."
"I know, it's just we haven't talked in weeks. I can't get him off my mind. Just after we started to be friends."
"Well forget about him. He's a boy, and this is a Girls night!" her pink curly-haired friend said.
"You're right! Let's go."
"That's the spirit!" I said.
Soarin's POV
Only 10 minutes until they come here.
"Hey Soarin, you okay?" Lightning Steak asked.
"Nervous?" his brother Fire added on.
"Ya,"
"But you've performed in front of many crowds," Windwalker said.
"That's thousands of people I don't know, this is one person who I love."
"Good point."
"Like, what if she hates the song, and then hates me more, and then never talks to me again. OR what if she doesn't even show up. OR if she gets hurt and has to leave before she hears it."
Rapidfire covered my mouth and said, "The girls will get her here safe and sound, and if she really is the one, then she'll love the song."
"You sure."
"Positive."
"Thanks, guys! That means a lot to me."
"No problem now let's get into our places."
RainbowDash's POV
"Let's go over there!" Pinkie shouted pointing to an area that they kept avoiding.
"Ya, we haven't been over there!" Spitfire said.
"That's because you guys keep saying to go somewhere else."
"What are ya talking about, RD?" Applejack asked.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever. Let's just go."
We walked to see a stage and 13 chairs facing it. Convenient, 13 of us. This can't be a coincidence. What are they up to? Then we sat down and they made me sit in the lone chair in the front row. The chairs were set up in a wierd way. Row 1 had 1 chair for me. Row 2 had 2 chairs. Row 3 had 3. Row 4 had 3. Row 4 had 4. What is going on?
The lights on the stage turned on.
Toward the back of the stage, sat FireStreak holding drumsticks. To his left is Thunderlane next to a piano and Lightningstreak holding a guitar. On the other side, Rapidfire was holding a bass guitar, Windwalker with a tambourine and WaveChill with a Banjo. The center of the stage is totally dark. Then they started playing and a familiar voice started to sing. It was so enchanting. I didn't know what to do.
"When You're Gone I think of You!"
As he said the last line he held his hand out to me. I took it and he pulled me onto the stage.
"RainbowDash. Princess. I'm so sorry."
RainbowDash's POV
"RainbowDash, I'm sorry for being an Idiot."
I didn't know what to say.
"I know you probably hate me now and don't believe me, but I mean it. I thought that Princess was just a nickname for you, but it's more than that now. That night when we just hung out and I got to know you more, I realized that I've fallen for you before I even knew it, ever since pre-K."
"I-I"
"RainbowDash. I mean it when I say, I love you, Princess! You're the love of my life!"
"I love you too."
"R-Really?" he said, "I thought you were mad at me."
"I wasn't mad at you."
"I don't understand, you avoided me ever since I tried last time."
"I was mad at myself."
"What? Why?"
"I'm sorry too."
"What are you sorry for?"
"I shouldn't have said no. I shouldn't have broken your heart."
"Princess-"
"Tiger, I avoided you because I thought you were mad at me. You know for saying 'no'."
"I could never be mad at you Princess. I'm sorry."
"I forgive you."
"I forgive you too."
"So friends?"
"Of course!" he said giving me a hug, "I just have 2 more questions."
"What is it, Tiger?"
"Would you be my best friend?!"
"Yes!"
"And Princess, would you be my girlfriend?"
"I-uh."
"Too soon?"
"No no no, I-I would love too!"
"You have no idea how much I..."
Before I knew what I was doing, I interrupted him with a kiss. Our first kiss was... weird. Neither of us seemed to know what we were doing.
"I...Uh."
"Sorry, Princess, never really kissed anyone before."
"Me neither. B-but I saw you and Lightning Dust."
"I have never kissed anyone back before," he corrected himself, "I consider this to be my first."
"Tiger?"
"Yes?"
"Did you know I had a crush on you before this? Ever since pre-K."
"Y-you did?"
"You didn't know? Then why did you ask me out?"
"Because I like you!"
"Right."
"I think we're meant to be!"
"Me too!" I said as he kissed me again.
He broke the kiss and said, "So Princess, was it my charm?" he said winking at me.
"In pre-K, it was your looks and your charm. Now, It's because of the kindness you showed me, your personality, your eyes, hair, the nicknames, and I guess it was partially your charm."
He laughed.
"So why did you like me?"
"Well in pre-K I feel for you and didn't know. Then I saw a picture of you in a dress."
"At the school dance?"
"Yep! At first, just thought that you looked like a Princess. So I used my Soarin charm and created the nickname."
"So it was the dress."
"No no no, that's what gave me the idea for the nickname, Princess. I like you for the way you are."
"Oh."
"I didn't realize I liked you until the night we just hung out on the 4th of July. I was just so attracted to the new you, or should I say the real you. Before that, I didn't really see the outgoing parts of you that Spitfire told me about and that I remember from pre-K. That night and from then on I did."
"I see."
"However, I was a coward and couldn't get myself to tell you how I feel until the day I finally did. Guess I was a little late."
"I had no idea."
"It's okay Princess! I didn't know about your feelings," he said with his signature smile, "So when you said no, it hurt. Not only did you break my heart, but I felt like I ruined our friendship."
"Wow. I'm sorry you felt that way."
"I think that it turned out well!" he kissed me on the cheek.
"Ya."
"I now have the most beautiful, nice, loyal, and kind Princess, as my girlfriend!"
"You think I'm beautiful?"
"Of course Princess. Not only on the outside but especially on the inside. A dress doesn't change that."
"You know I'm not a real Princess right?"
"You're right. You're my Princess."
Applejack's POV
After the song finished we were supposed to leave them alone. I had to drag Rarity because she wanted to meet Soarin.
"She promised to let us meet him!"
"Maybe at the Halloween Party Rares. Come on!"
"B-b-but!" she said with a quivering lip.
"Can't ya see they're having a moment!"
"Fine! I wish it was me up there!"
"Can't ya be happy for her!?"
"Y-yes."
"Good. Now Let's Go!"
"Coming."
