The next day Twilight was at home having a day off after the previous day’s photoshoot and she could not take the events off her mind. It was annoying having to redo the entire photoshoot again, but she and Sunset still had fun and the image of Sunset in her mind.
She had invited Sunset to come over for the day so they can just spend the day together. She had already prepared responses if Sunset had any teasing to do about yesterday.
She then heard her doorbell ring and then answered it to see not Sunset her older brother Shining Armor and his wife Cadance; they greeted eachother happily as Twilight invited them in and they sat down at the couch. “Saw your MyStable post that you did the photoshoot yesterday, I never thought you would have the courage to go for something like that. I bet Sunset was unable to keep her hands off you.” Cadance teased Twilight and Twilight was unable to hide the blush that happened.
“She helped me get through it as I was pretty scared; she convinced me as we were doing it together.” Twilight said with a smile but saw that Shining was not looking pleased which made her frown.
“So she convinced you to go through with showing yourself in a bikini like she convinced you to start putting yourself at risk fighting.” Shining spoke up and Twilight and Cadance sighed. Shining was strongly against Twilight joining the CWA in the first place.
“So you are still not fond of me in the CWA?” Twilight asked rhetorically rolling her eyes.
“Of course I’m not, it’s a dangerous business where you could get life threatening injuries. You are putting yourself at risk when you already had a job at the lab!” Shining snapped making the two glare at him. He had always checked the CWA website and news for updates to make sure Twilight didn’t have any injuries; he wouldn’t watch due to not wanting to get the fear while watching her perform that he would see her get seriously hurt.
“I scheduled it so I have my time working at the lab while training and performing.” Twilight replied crossing her arms and Cadance nudged Shining with a wink as if to point out that of course Twilight wouldn’t start anything until she planned out every detail of what her schedule would be like.
“But you are putting yourself at risk by fighting those who have done more training than you and don’t have another job especially since you painted a target on your back by winning that title! Plus your reputation as a scientist may suffer as you get more known for fighting and now when the photos of you in that magazine are seen.” Shining continued but then they saw the door had opened and Sunset came in.
“So I might have guessed your older overprotective brother wouldn’t be happy.” Sunset drawled as she went and sat down next to Twilight.
“Not as bad as her continued involvement with the wrestling organisation, especially since you had been talking her into it. I saw glimpses of what you are like in that show some time ago and how you have been treating her and others. I guess you took an excuse to live out your bullying glory days!” Shining replied and Sunset glared harshly knowing that Shining never really approved of her when she and Twilight started dating.
“I just encouraged Twilight saying if she wanted to do it then I would have her back. It was just a fun hobby for her when we asked her to start taking part in CWA, she decided to take part in the push she was offered. Plus the acting on the show is that for fun and to put on a show; just like actors in a TV show. You don’t think the Sons of Grogar are actually cultists?” Sunset asked her face growing angry.
They were tension as Cadance glared at her husband and they decided to lead, “Sorry about how stubborn Shining is, he is just worried about you and so do I. I don’t totally approve but you are free to pursue your career and I am proud of what you have managed to accomplish.” Cadance told Twilight as they left.
Twilight then apologised to Sunset about Shining but she just said not to worry about it. “I wonder how crazy he thought you were when he got the news his beloved sister will be in a bikini photoshoot with her girlfriend and ex-bully. But then again, some see crazy where I see love!” Sunset told her putting her arm around Twilight’s shoulder and Twilight giggled.
Sunset flashed her a smile as Twilight was thinking of how she stretched just to be able to quote the line from the Songbird Serenade song Twilight was using as her entrance music. “So you think we could get another chance to do a photoshoot together, we could set it up so in here or at my house we could change into them and pretend to have our own.” Sunset asked teasingly as Twilight managed a smirk.
“If we do then I was thinking if I could trap you in a foot hold and you would be helpless as I tickle your feet. You know I can do it since have you managed to actually win against me yet in the ring?” Twilight asked and Sunset gave a broader smile.
