Serenade, the element and embodiment of water was swimming towards Ponyvill lazily to visit a good friend of hers. Serenade is a Unicorn who uses her magic to propel her forward in the water, create whirlpools and more. She has a deep blue coat with a whit white mane that's always straight, she also has beautiful green eyes that seem to put other ponies in a trance.
Once she reached Ponyvill she began to head toward the library where her friend resided. On her way there she came across another friend, Rarity.
"Rarey, hey over here!" Serenade waved a hoof in the air trying to get Rarity's attention. Rarity walks up to Serenade finding her antics much like another pony she knows.
"Yes yes, I see you dear. How have you been?" Rarity asks with worry for not seeing her friend for so long
"Oh sorry, I've been busy." Serenade looked down afraid to see the look on her friends face.
Seeing the look on Serenade's face Rarity quickly changes the subject. "It's cold down at the bottom of the waters you swim in, so I made you a waterproof scarf dear. I hope you like it." Rarity tells Serenade as she puts a dark blue silk scarf around Serenade's neck. After chatting with Serenade, Rarity trotted off to attend to her own business once more. With a slight blush Serenade said to herself in a whisper.
"Nopony's ever given me anything...." Serenade shook her head rapidly removing the blush and adjusted the scarf. "No time for feelings like that, I gotta help Twi!" Serenade stated then took off in a gallop
Once Serenade reached Twilights house she quickly opened the door.
Twilight greeted Serenade with an eager grin and a warm hello.
"So Twi, anything specific that we're going to read?" Serenade asked while closing the door behind her.
"No, I thought we could just have fun today. Also, there was a letter at my door addressed to you." Twilight handed the letter to Serenade who quickly opened and read the letter.
"Dear Serenade, Element of water.
I have wrote this message in hopes that you will hear my plea. The war in your homeland has gone on long enough and caused much death
And strife. This war will also reach Equestria if nothing is done to stop it. I have contacted all your siblings but the element of fire. We will meet at the entrance to the Everfree forest one week from now."
"Weird, how does this pony know about that. That's not important though, what is important that I stop this war if it's that bad now." Serenade thought to herself. She then pushes those thoughts out of her head for the time being to have fun with Twilight.
The first thing they do is go to Sugar Cube Corner for some lunch. As they trotted towards their destination Twilight asked Serenade about her scarf.
"Oh this?" Serenade asked " Rarity gave it to me earlier today for when I go into the deeper waters!" she said.
"Well that was nice of her, then again she does represent generosity." Twilight giggled.
Once they reached the door to Sugar Cube Corner a pink mare with a poofy pink mane came rushing out and tackled Serenade to the ground with a hug.
"Heh, nice to see you to Pinkie!" Serenade said as she returned the hug.
"Where were you this entire time, I messed you! "Pinkie got off of Serenade then helped her up. "............Wanna try some new cupcake recipe's I came up with?" Pinkie asked with glee.
"I'd love to, if that's ok with you Twilight?" Serenade looked over Pinkie to look at Twilight.
"Of course, but only if I can try them as well!" Twilight stated. Pinkie jumped up in the air and squealed and just as quickly rushed back into the shop to make the cupcakes. Serenade and Twilight follow Pinkie into her shop giggling about Pinkies crazy antics.
