The sun was beginning to set on the other side of a land that was full of sand, trees, wooden bridges and houses. It was Destiny Island, Sora’s original home, or use to be.
Sora was laying on his front in the sand unconscious with his new keyblade standing in the stand a few feet away from him. After a few more seconds of being unconscious, Sora slowly opened his eyes and got up onto his feet before looking around the island as he realise he was now back home.
Sora smiled feeling happy that he was now back to where he belongs.
He let out a happy sigh before saying, “Back home, where it all began.”
Sora saw his new keyblade in the sand as he walked towards it and picked it up before looking at it. “So it was real. I still have this new keyblade I got.”
While continuing to look at his new keyblade, Sora suddenly heard two familiar voices, one male and one female.
“Sora!” Said the male voice
“Sora!” Said the female voice.
Sora looked behind him and saw his two friends, Riku and Kairi, running towards him with happy smiles on their faces.
Kairi has short dark red hair that reaches to her shoulders. Her outfit is a unique hooded pink-and-black dress, with two small black cat ears. There are black ruffles on one side of her skirt and plaid on the other. She wears thick belted black boots. She wears thin white bracelets on her left wrist and a thick wristband on her right wrist.
Sora couldn’t help but smile happily at his friends, he was so happy to be united with Riku and Kairi again.
“Riku! Kairi!”
Once his two friends made it to him, they all formed into a big group hug as they all laughed with tears of happiness rolling down their friends.
After a few more seconds of hugging, they broke the hug and looked at each other with happy smiles on their faces.
“I can’t believe!” Riku said with joy, “You’re here! You actually made it back after paying the price from using the power of waking one last time!”
“Yeah, but after that, I had to save a world like I always do before fighting a Xehanort,” said Sora, “And it was a lot different than the other worlds I entered, but it was actually quite fun really.”
That was when Kairi saw that Sora had a new keyblade instead of his original keyblade, the Kingdom Key.
“Sora, is that a new keyblade?” She asked him, “What happened to the one you always had?”
Sora held his new keyblade up to them for them have a better look at it.
“Yeah, it is my new keyblade. My other keyblade got snapped into two pieces.”
“How did it get snapped?” Kairi asked.
Unknown to them, they were being watched by a black coat figure who was watching the three, with his arms behind his back, on a big round part of the island. After a few more seconds of watching, he walked away leaving the three alone.
Sora suddenly realise that someone was missing from the island. He looked around and saw no sign of, Namine. “Wait, where’s Namine?”
“No need to worry about her,” answered Riku with a smile, “She’s at Twilight Town, waiting for us.”
Sora got confused by what Riku just said to him. “Waiting for us in Twilight Town?”
Kairi nodded before saying, “Yeah, Yen Sid told us that once you’ve come back, we’ll be moving into Twilight Town. That way, we don’t have to wait for our friends to come to visit and we can still go on keyblade adventures if needed again.”
Hearing this made Sora have the biggest smile on his face ever. He was going to live in Twilight Town with his friends and won’t have to wait for any visits from his friends.
“That’s great! That means I’ll still be able to see Roxas and our other friends still! Can’t wait to get going!”
Riku and Kairi smiled at Sora’s reaction as Riku began to speak again, “Now there’s just one thing we need to ask before we all start packing. Sora, what happened after you vanish?”
Sora looked at his friends before taking the rubber crown out of his pocket and started looking at it. He smiled at it before letting out a happy chuckle and stared at the setting sun.
“I hope you like strange interesting stories.”
Meanwhile, back in Equestria, everything was back to normal and everypony are happier as always.
Discord was still cleaning the remaining mess that was made during the invasion.
The girls, Spike, Oliver, Sunburst and Capper were cleaning the inside of the castle while the sisters cleaned up their throne and Cadence was playing with Flurry Heart in the bedroom Shining and Cadence would sleep in for any nights in.
Speaking of Shining, he was at the royal guard training area, outside the castle garden, helping Tempest Shadow with her training. And he was mighty impress with the effort she has put in her training.
Meanwhile, on the field near Donut Joe’s, Smolder and Lightning Twister were sitting with each other on the field looking at the sun set having a moment to theirselves while the other five were inside the cafe. The two lovebirds had a plate of chocolate doughnuts in front of them.
As they were watching the sun set, Smolder looked at Lightning and asked, “Are you still upset?”
“About Momma? Nah, as long she’s inside my heart, I’ll never get upset and believe her death was my fault.”
Smolder smiled at her boyfriend before gently punched his hoof while saying, “I’m proud of you, cutie.”
“Besides,” Lightning continued, “If I ever do get upset because I miss her, I’ll always have you guys and my family to be there for me. For the magic, of friendship.”
Smolder nodded while still smiling as both she and Lightning picked up one doughnut from the plate before looking at each other.
“And no matter what changes are to come, we go through it together,” Smolder said happily.
Smolder took a bite from Lightning’s doughnut while he took a bite from Smolder’s doughnut before looking at each other again.
After swallowing his bite from Smolder’s doughnut, Lightning began to say, “Uh...Smolder?”
“Hmm?”
“I know I wanted to ask you this when we're all grown up, but, is it okay if I ask you now?”
Smolder chuckled before saying, “To be honest, I wanted to ask you something as well, even before we’re all grown up. Shall we say it together?”
Lightning nodded his head to her in response to her question.
The two took a deep breath in and after a few seconds, they both said in unison,
“Will you marry me?”
