//------------------------------// // A Galaxy far, far away... // Story: Stuck in my own Crossover // by AntiBronyBenSwolo //------------------------------// Adagio slowly opened her eyes as she found me gazing into her eyes. "Adagio? You up yet?" I asked as Adagio rubbed her temple after passing out as if being hit on the head. Adagio looked around to see us stranded together in beautiful yellow and green fields. She also found us wearing different clothes than usual. She found herself wearing a pink shirt with a black vest, tight blue pants, long dark boots, and a holster containing a blaster pistol. Adagio also examined that I was wearing a rather loose-fit white tunic, tan leggings and boots, and a belt holding a blaster pistol for myself. "What...happened?" Adagio asked as I took a look around the place. "Remember? I had us all pass out to get to other worlds?" I reminded, as Adagio got up and stood next to me. "Well, where are we now?" Adagio asked as I gazed at a rather small city, though it was big enough for us to look for our selected prize. "Adagio Dazzle, welcome to Lothal," I introduced, as I led Adagio into the city, where average citizens, some of which included colorful aliens, went about their daily lives. We wandered around the marketplace, where Adagio was bedazzled by the strange fruits and vegetables being sold. "If you think this is amazing, you should see the rest of the Galaxy," I prompted, blowing Adagio's mind to the nth degree. "This is just one planet in an expansive universe?" Adagio asked, wanting to see more. "Yep, sure is," I answered, leading Adagio through the town until we got halted by a platoon of rather tall men in white armor. "Freeze! Let me see some ID!" The lead stormtrooper demanded as the other stormtroopers surrounded Adagio and me. "You'll have to excuse us. We just got here, and--" Adagio tried to explain. "Bold of you to assume we take excuses. Take them away," The lead stormtrooper demanded, as the other troopers shoved us towards what was most likely gonna be a prison or a jail of sorts. "Looks like we have to do things the hard way," I taunted, as I whipped out my blaster pistol and knocked one of the stormtroopers on the top of the head with the butt of the handle. I dragged Adagio out of the mob of troopers, as she whipped out her blaster pistol. Soon enough, all the citizens were running in fear of the firefight about to break out as the troopers aimed their blasters at us, and vice versa. "We have you 8-2, scum! Just surrender your blasters and come with us!" The lead stormtrooper reasoned as Adagio looked at me in concern. "Any more bright ideas?" Adagio asked as I looked around. I peered around the corner of the market and came up with a plan. "I got one, and I betcha it'll work," I whispered, as I got up from my cover and initiated my...I guess you could call it a plan. "Yo! Stormtroopers!!" I called out, as the troopers lowered their blasters in confusion. "Your shoes untied!" I called out. One by one, each of the troopers examined their boots to see if their boots really were untied. And boy, were they dumb to check. Stormtroopers don't even have laces. The troopers looked back and saw that Adagio and I have hopped from our cover and made our getaway. "Don't just stand there! Get them!" The commanding stormtrooper exclaimed as they all chased after wherever we are. But one by one, each of the troopers fell over and noticed something tying their feet together. "Hey! I thought we didn't have laces!" One of the stormtroopers noticed, as all of their boots simultaneously got tangled up. Sure does pay to mess with reality when need be. "OK! That should take care of them," I muttered, jotting down the final touches of my trick down in my notebook as Adagio checked around the alleyway for incoming troopers. "Who were those guys?" Adagio asked, as I immediately remembered she doesn't exactly get my references. A lot. "Those were Imperial Stormtroopers. They're basically the bad guys. That's the best way I can explain it," I said, as we wandered around the alleyway for a new advantage. "AntiBronyBenSwolo, Fanfiction writer, manipulator of reality, and slayer of 'the bad guys'," Adagio Dazzle joked, as I rolled my eyes. "Well, it's much more than Stormtroopers we have to worry about," I said, as I looked at the corner of my eye and noticed a free ship giveaway just around the corner. I gave a cheeky smile as Adagio followed me to the giveaway. "Sure is convenient a spaceship giveaway is even going on, huh?" Adagio commented as I went up to the stand. "And by convenient, you mean...?" I asked, holding up my trusty notebook. Adagio sighed. "Hello. Would you like to own your own starship?" The droid at the counter offered. I'm surprised it was a droid, as I was thinking of making it a human or something, but there's no time for that. "Yes please," Adagio said before I could say it. "What model would you like your ship to be?" The droid asked, displaying various ships of different shapes and sizes. Many of them confused Adagio, as she couldn't imagine what each ship was capable of. And to be honest, I was feeling the same way. There were so many ships to choose from. Except there was one recognizable ship that stood out. One that I could not pass up the opportunity for. "We'll take the YT-1300 Correllian Freighter," I decided as Adagio tried to look for the one I selected. Suddenly, the holograms deactivated, leaving the freighter of my choice open, as the droid examined my choice. "YT-1300 Correllian Freighter: a vintage model most that are most known for the vessel known as the Millennium Falcon," The droid recapped. "You know this means absolutely nothing to me, right?" Adagio asked as I was bedazzled by the hologram. "We'll take it," I smiled as if I was a child opening presents. "Am I just filler here?" Adagio asked once more as if I forgot about her. Jokes on her, if I forgot about her, I wouldn't still give her dialogue. "And would you like to name this particular vessel?" The droid offered, as my face lit up like a tree in winter. "Hey, I kinda have nothing to do, so you mind if I name it?" Adagio asked, as my face broke down in happiness. We basically have our own Millennium Falcon now! I think I'm having a bit too much fun on this adventure. "Sure, go ahead," I said, letting her have this opportunity. Adagio examined our new ship carefully, as she pondered a new name. She stroked her name as she thought up a good name for our vessel, considering the mission we're on. "How about the Scavenger?" Adagio asked as I looked over at her and thought the name over. It did fit, seeing as we're on a Scavenger hunt. So, I didn't see why not. "Sure thing," I answered. "Very good. Your hangar is 2-8B. 2 Ships down the left from here. Can't miss it," The droid instructed as he tossed the keys to Adagio and the two of us headed on our way there. "Our own ship. I can't believe it! Can this day get even better?" I muttered with glee. Adagio looked on at me like she would look at Sonata with Tacos galore. "I haven't seen you fanboy this much in one go. Care to explain why you're so excited?" Adagio asked. "Well, I've always been a fan of this world since I was young. It's the reason why I call myself AntiBronyBenSwolo to begin with. At least in this fanfiction's timeline," I expressed as we ran into a couple of familiar faces. Or should I say helmets? "Stop those two! Blast them!" The stormtroopers ordered as they opened fire at us, but luckily, I had plenty of plot armor to spare. We quickly ran for our newly christened Scavenger (and boy was she a beaut) and hopped on board the ship. She was a newer model of a freighter, with shiny white wall and reflective lights that made the whole place feel like a whole lot roomier. We made it to the cockpit of the ship, and Adagio was too worried about starting up a ship, so she just let me do all the flying. But I wasn't faring too too well either. It was a rocky ride, but I'm just relieved we made it out of Lothol's Atmosphere and into orbit. "Well, that was fun," Adagio said, as she breathed relieved sighs as if she just ran a marathon. I wipe my forehead and chuckled. "Well, we got our ship, now let's see what we have to find here," I noted as I opened up my notebook to retrace my steps. "We're looking for a magical sword, right?" Adagio reminded me, as I re-read the previous chapter. "Yep. And this place is the perfect place to do it. We don't just get a magical sword, we get to wield the power of the most infamous sword of all: the Lightsaber," I announced, as I...somewhat attempted to plot a course. It's much easier to narrate me plotting it than it is actually plotting it so I have a better chance of success. "Well, should we check the progress of Aria and Sonata? I just don't want to get them hurt is all," Adagio asked, as my brain dipped down. I admit that I am a bit embarrassed that I completely forgot about those two. "Quite right," I sighed, as I put the Scavenger into autopilot and decided to narrate the other Dazzling's escapades.
