//------------------------------// // The Strange Visitor // Story: Stuck in my own Crossover // by AntiBronyBenSwolo //------------------------------// The waterfalls roared as the ship laid safely in our hidden cave. It has been about a full week or so since Flash Sentry went kookoo crazy with power and tried to get revenge on the Dazzlings and me. And since then, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata have just been chilling out here on our ship. Of course, everyone has their jobs to keep us afloat. And I mean that financially, not literally. Cause obviously, the ship's doing that for us. "Anyone else bored to death?" I called out to check if the Dazzlings are as bored as I am. "Yep," Adagio called out. "Exactly that," Aria responded, pouring a can of whipped cream in her mouth. "Can't you write anything interesting for us to do?" Sonata asked, coming up from below deck while I popped out of the Captain's cabin. "Well, what do you expect? Us to face off against someone like the Devil? We already had to face off against Flash Sentry in combat, so I think it'd be best if we took a little break or something," I expressed as I fiddled with my pen, writing whatever I can down. "To be honest, I wasn't thinking of us facing off against some great evil...again. In fact, I think you might be forgetting something" Sonata replied in a disappointed manner. "Well, what could I be forgetting?" I asked, laying my head back in boredom. "I believe she's referring to your relationship with Adagio," Aria explained. And with that, my face turned red with embarrassment, and I could seldom see the same reaction with Adagio, though her face had more frustration. During our battle with Flash, Adagio and I had a romantic kiss that everyone saw, and since then Sonata kept begging me and Adagio to be in a relationship. "For the last time, you're rushing things," I explained to Sonata, who groaned at my excuse. As we argued about what to write, and if Adagio and I were really becoming a thing, we heard a disturbing voice from the hidden entrance to our hideout. "Hello? Anyone there?" The voice called out, startling the four of us. And just like the snap of the fingers, Sonata snatched a nearby flintlock pistol from the stray treasure, while Aria manned one of the ship's cannons, and Adagio grabbed a cutlass ready for battle. Finally, something interesting to write about. "Who goes there?" I called out, as the intruder descended down to our lair. The intruder had a light blue jumpsuit revealing only his mouth, a black domino mask layering over his blue mask, a large blue-and-yellow collared cape, green and yellow gloves, orange boots, and a big red star on his chest. And in his right hand, he wielded a blue banana like it was a pistol. I let out a smile as if meeting an old friend. "Blue Banana. I'm surprised to see you here in this fanfiction of all places," I called out, as Blue Banana came closer to the ship. "I'm surprised you're letting me in," Blue Banana replied, as the Dazzling's steadied their weapons on the strangely colored character. "Is this one of your characters?" Adagio asked as Blue Banana climbed on board the ship. "Indeed he is, Adagio. You can lower your weapons now," I said, as Sonata put down the flintlock pistol, and Aria came back from below deck to see this stranger. Adagio lowered her guard, but not the sword. "So, what brings you here?" Adagio asked, suspicious as to why I'm treating him nicely. "I heard you guys were bored, so I thought I'd like to drop by with a little something for you," Blue explained as Aria and Sonata looked at each other confused by Blue. "Who are you exactly? You didn't give us an introduction yet," Aria noted. "Oh, how silly of me. I am Blue Banana! Leader of the Legion of Doom, and Supervillain at your service," Blue Banana expressed, with enough showmanship to match Trixie's (maybe). The girls, however, could only react with laughter. "That is supposed to be a Supervillain? I've seen better villains out of a 60s Power Ponies comic!" Sonata laughed as Blue pouted at their laughter. "I would rather you didn't laugh at him like that. He's trying his best to be a good villain. You haven't even seen what he can do yet," I explain as the girls started calming down. "Oh, sorry about that. I couldn't help myself," Adagio explained, wiping a little tear from laughing too hard. "It's fine. I get it a lot," Blue explained. "So, you said you had something for us?" I asked as Blue let out a giddy little smile. "I have a challenge for you. I need you to gather these three things and then face me in combat," Blue Banana said, as he handed a small list to me. The list had the following items: Magic Sword Magic Arm Magic Crystal "That's it? We could probably find that in our sleep. Just give us a time machine, and we'll cross off 'Magic Crystal' by bringing back our past selves," Aria explained. "I should probably mention a few more things. You need Interdimensional Travel to gather these items, and I will try to stop and capture you," Blue Banana explained, actually intimidating the girls a little. "Oh, relax. I promise I won't torture you or anything. You'll just be stuck with me for a while," Blue Banana promised, though their reactions remained uneasy. And it didn't help Flash kidnapped them once before. "Thanks for the tips. I've been waiting to write this kind of story," I explained, tucking the note in my pocket and shaking Blue Banana's hand in agreement. "Great! I'll see you guys later," Blue waved, as he ran back out of our secret entrance, most likely going to prep himself for this challenge. "So...what's the plan here?" Adagio asked as the four of us pondered what this challenge would bring. "We could either split up and gather one item each, or we sick together as one, and gather them one at a time," I explained as Aria stroked her chin. "Hate to be that kind of girl, but there's four of us. How can we gather one of three items each if there are four of us?" Aria asked as if I would get legitimately stumped by that. "Answer's simple, really. Two of us get one of the magic items, while we split up and get the rest. And I know just the two," Sonata suggested, looking at me and Adagio. "Sonata, for the last time..." I was about to explain, before Sonata collapsed, grabbing my legs like a child! "Please! I just wanna see Antiagio set sail!!!" Sonata whined, getting a reaction out of all of us. "You really like the pairing that much?" Adagio asked, pondering such a relationship herself. "You named it Antiagio?" Aria asked, ruining Adagio's train of thought. I let out a sigh and forced Sonata up. "OK, fine. You win. Adagio's coming with me, and we'll get this 'magic sword'," I explained, nudging Adagio to let her finish up the plan. "Alright then, if that's the case, Aria, you can take the magic arm, Sonata, you take the magic crystal," Adagio assigned, as Aria and Sonata saluted in a soldier-like manner. "That still leaves us with one little detail: Transport. How are we gonna go to other universes? I just don't think Blue meant 'go to Equestria'," Aria pointed out, stumping the other two dazzlings. "You do forget I'm a crazy powerful fanfiction author that can mess with reality, right?" I sarcastically asked as Adagio looked at me like I was an idiot. "OK, whatever you gotta do to cross us over, do it," Adagio commanded, as I readied my pen. "Alrighty then. Just to warn you, I'm gonna make us all pass out, and we're gonna wake up in different worlds. It's the oldest trick in the book, and I don't wanna write stories like that because it's pretty dumb, but I don't think we have enough time to get to the portal and explain everything to Sunset," I explained. "Excuse me? I didn't get that middle part. Could you maybe--" Sonata asked, before a sweeping feeling passed over all four of us, knocking us all out simultaneously. And wherever we were going, it had to be worth it.
