All seemed lost; Morbius had defeated Spiderman and his secret has been revealed to Fluttershy.
"This is the hero who saved you? He's pathetic." Morbius said as he threw the boy to the ground. Adam was hurting all over; but he was really hurting in his heart, he had failed to keep his secret and protect the girl he cares about the most. The boy watched the vampire walk towards her; he was prepared to show no mercy.
"I'm sorry Fluttershy." Adam muttered. She looked at him; still trying to believe it was him, but then said something Adam will never forget. "Adam; you need to get up, your not pathetic, your not weak. Your the bravest guy I've ever met; your strong Adam." Those words made Adam feeling something; he hadn't felt this is a long time, it was self-confidence.
"Let her go Morbius." the vampire turned back to Adam and said, "You never learn do you? I am a god compared to you." Adam then saw his mask on the ground next to Fluttershy's feet; head shot it with a web-line and pulled it to his hand. Adam put the mask back on; feeling the power flow through him, Morbius turned away from Fluttershy and back towards the hero. "That's it; I'm going to get rid of you, once an for all." the vampire's claws and teeth grew out longer, as if he had knifes for fingers.
Adam began to speak, "Before we fight; let me guess what this is about." Morbius hissed as he got closer to Adam. The boy kept talking, "Wait; come on, I can get this. You need to feed of humans to survive; when you do, it allows you to walk around in the sun light." Morbius was surprised that Adam got it right; the he spoke, "But if I take a bride, then I will not need to feed. I will be able to draw power from her; and I chose Fluttershy to be my bride." Adam didn't like that last part. When Morbius turned back to the poor girl; Adam quickly took advantage of the opening.
He delivered a strong kick to the vampire's side; sending him flying into the wall. When Morbius crashed through the wooden wall; he rolled into a room filled with cogs and gears. Adam then charged after him; swinging after him into the other room.
The new room was dark; all that was heard was the cogs grinding to make the clock tower work. "The game's up Morbius." Adam said. "Turn yourself into the police and you can stand trial for what you've done." Without warning; Morbius once again leaped down onto Spiderman, causing them both to start rolling around the floor. The hero and the villain began punching each other again; until Morbius kicked Adam back into the other room.
Adam rolled across the ground; he stopped when he hit Fluttershy's feet. "Get up Adam." she said in a scared voice. Morbius flew through the air and landed in front of them both, "Any last requests?" he hissed.
Spidey noticed something; so he said what Morbius thought was his last words, "Got any sunblock?" Morbius replied with, "Got any... what?" The vampire turned around to see the sun had risen and it what shining through the clock tower's stained glass.
Morbius growled in defeat; Adam said, "Not your best plan, letting me distract you long enough for the sun to come up." Morbius couldn't believe it, "Defeated by a mortal. NO!" The sun began to take effect; it was burning the vampire's skin like acid. In Morbius' last moment; he turned to ash and was blown away by the wind.
Adam turned towards the former hostage and broke the chains holding her down; she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, "Thank you Adam, I shouldn't have trusted Morbius." Adam hugged her back; they just stood their for a minute. When the embrace was over; Adam took Fluttershy home. Holding her close; he leaped out the hole in the glass and began swinging away.

The next day; Adam's door bell rang.
When he answered the door; Fluttershy was there, holding a piece of paper. "Adam, I spoke to the owner of the pet shelter. He's given you your old job back." Adam couldn't control his excitement; he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her into the air, "Thank you Fluttershy." When she was back on the ground; she said, "I wanted to thank you for saving my life."
They then both just stood there; both waiting for the other to say something. Adam broke the silence with, "I guess I should buy you a coffee for... " he was cut of when Fluttershy locked her lips with his.
When she released him; Adam was lost for words, until the sound of sirens was heard from outside. The boy had to go; but he didn't want to leave Fluttershy. When Adam turned back to her; she said something he would never forget, "Go get'em tiger."
Adam quickly changed into his suit and leaped out the window; Fluttershy went outside the building to see him swinging away, she couldn't be happier.

At Canterlot High; the Mane 6 met in the yard, "Rainbow Dash." Applejack said as their friend returned from the hospital. "I still can't believe I was attacked by Spiderman." the blue girl stated.
Fluttershy stepped forward, "Maybe it wasn't Spiderman." But the girls disagreed with her opinion. Sunset Shimmer placed her hand on Fluttershy's shoulder, "I know you met him, but he was clearly playing you."
The quiet girl cried out in anger, "No he didn't! Spiderman is a hero." With those words; Fluttershy strolled off, just thinking what would happen next.
Little did she no; she was being watched, by the same little drone the was spying on Spiderman that one night. The figure watching the video feed said, "Well Adam, you have someone who knows your secret. When the time is right, the whole multiverse will fear the name.... Goblin."
