‘There are many different forces in Equestria, and many different individuals to represent them. Some are known by all like Princess Celestia of the sun and Princess Luna of the moon, while some are known by few like the Tree of Harmony for harmony and Faust for creation. However, there are some forces out there that are known by nobody, well more like, the forces are known, but not the individual to represent the force. My goal while writing this journal is to find and record any and all findings on both the forces that are either not well known or completely unknown. Of course, if I do find one of these forces, and they wish for me to stay silent about them, I will abide by their wish with only giving what force they represent along with a nickname that fits both the force and the individual... if they let me.’
I sighed as I closed the journal and put it aside to start getting ready to go. “Well, it’s finally the day, it’s finally the day where I can go out into the world and find these forces and catalogue every single one I can find.”
“HEY ZAP, WHEN YOUR DONE GIVING OFF EXPOSITION, COME DOWN HERE AND GET SOME PANCAKES!” That was my housemate and childhood friend, along with the one who is going to be accompanying me on this journey, his name is Solar Freeze, and he is a pegasus with a sunflower yellow mane and tail with a streak of white going through it and an icy blue coat. His cutie mark is that of a sun with a dozen icicles stabbed into it, and yes, I describe it that way to other creatures just to get a reaction out of them.
“ALRIGHT, BE THERE IN A MINUTE, STILL NEED TO PACK THE LAST FEW THINGS!” I say as I stick the journal and few pens inside my saddlebag. OH! I just realized I have yet to introduce myself, the names Zapper Frost, nice to meet ’cha. I suppose you want a description on how I look like, hmm? Well alrighty then, I am a unicorn with a pure white mane with grayish silver tips and a bright red coat, and I have a cutie mark of an eight-pointed snowflake with a bolt of lightning running it through.
I then began my journey to the kitchen by exiting my room and making my way towards the kitchen to get some better than waffles pancakes... no seriously, that is literally what the brand decided to call themselves, I don’t know why though, I mean, both have their pros and cons sure, but they are basically the same thing shaped differently. And with that mini rant done, I have entered the room that has kept me alive after the last twenty-three years of my life by giving me sustenance each and every single day without fail, the kitchen/dining room, I really am going to miss this place while we are away.
“Alright, Zap, get your pancakes, get eating, and get out the door, we got a journey to do and mysteries to uncover,” Solar said, trying to rush me out the door.
“Alright, alright, boy somebody’s eager to get out the door as soon as possible,” I said with a joking voice.
“Of course I'm excited, we’ve been planning this journey of ours since we were foals, in fact I'm just wondering why you’re not more excited!”
“Oh, trust me, I'm probably even more excited than you are, I just know how to – somewhat - control myself,” I snarked as I finished off my pancakes.
“Oh please, this coming from the guy that bounces around the house every time one of his favorite games get a major update,” Solar snarked back.
“I... fair enough, anyways let’s get going, the sooner we leave, the more things we can do,” I relented as I got up to walk out the door.
After we got out the door, we have officially started out journey to find these forces and learn all we can about them and what it is that they do
[Time Hop]
It has been three hours since we started this journey, and I knew we wouldn’t find any of these forces for a while, if at all, but oh my gosh I am bored. I mean, all we have been doing for these past three hours is just walking, walking, and even more walking, why can’t something interesting happen, why must the world want us to be eternally bored, and why must Solar vocally say these same complaints out loud. I mean, seriously, cant he just think these complaints in his head, he knows that I can’t do anything to cure his boredom, otherwise instead of complaining he would be actually doing something... and did I mention its only been three hours?
[Time Skip]
Seven hours into this journey, two hours ago Solar has finally decided to shut up after I threatened to hit him with the hilt of my sword if he didn’t... forgot to mention I had a sword. I would check the sun to see what time it is, but according to the princesses, a few weeks ago Discord thought it would be a good idea to make the sun and moon go backwards and the princesses are still working on fixing it since discord got banned from using chaos magic for a month by both the princesses and Fluttershy... it was going to be three, but Fluttershy lessened it for him. So now here we are, wandering across Equestria, searching for the forces that help maintain the balance of both good and evil, with no idea what time it is because neither of us own a watch and the sun is screwed up... why didn’t they have him fix the celestial bodies before they banned him from his magic.

Now it’s been 15 hours since we started on this journey, we’re both tired, we both need to set up camp, and we both really just want to collapse and fall asleep... yeah, that sounds like a good idea, go to sleep, sounds like the best idea anyone has ever thought of... ‘m just gonna lay righ’ here an’... *thump**thump*
