In Canterlot High School, Sunset Shimmer and her friends were having lunch in the cafeteria along with the rest of the students. They had plenty of things to converse about ever since the major incident that occurred not too long ago that almost costed their lives. Rainbow Dash was the most incessant of the subject matter.
“Can you guys believe it?! I was right all along!!” Rainbow gloated. “I knew that there was evil magic! I guess next time that something like this happens, you better believe me when I’ll say there’s evil magic.”
“Ugh, we get it, Rainbow Dash, you were right, we should’ve listened.” Applejack groaned while rolling her eyes in annoyance.
“I guess we’ll never rest from any future threat of Equestrian magic, huh?” Sunset said. “I thought that our time in our spring cruise would give us some refreshment and peace from everything that happened to us before.”
“Yeah, it feels like we’re just going to keep this up for like...forever!” human Twilight/Sci-Twi added.
“But on the bright side, we got to see all those pretty ponies!!” Pinkie said smiling. “We were ponified, we saw our counterparts even though they didn’t see us since we were hiding, and we saw that nice-looking castle!! Hmmm, I could’ve sworn the other me saw me through those bushes and randomly waved at me, but yeah!” Pinkie speedily uttered.
“Speaking of which, those adorable little critters saw me pass by while they were standing by the pony that looked like me, especially that little bunny that appears exactly like Angel. Awww, they were so cute.” Fluttershy recalled blushing. “Of course, they were confused seeing two of us.”
“Indeed. And I must say that mare who looked like me was fabulous! Ohh, I wished I could have acquainted myself with her and talk about fashion!” Rarity said.
“I can definitely say the same for the others that came us. I can imagine the faces they made when they saw their counterparts in pony forms.” Sunset said before chuckling. The rest of the group joined in laughter. After several minutes of laughter, they eventually stopped and finished their lunch.
“So, you guys have any plans after school?” Rainbow asked.
“Not much. Got plenty of homework to do.” Twilight replied.
“I got some animals to take care of before I do anything else.” Fluttershy said.
“And I got farm work to accomplish along with my family.” Applejack also replied.
“Fashion designers must always be timely with their work. Thus, I’ll be busy throughout most of the day.” Rarity said.
“Not much plans either. I got plenty of baking to do.” Pinkie said.
“What about you, Sunset?” Rainbow asked her.
“I was planning to go on a nature walk after school. I always wanted to just relax my mind and have fun in nature, you know?” Sunset replied.
“All right then. See you guys later!” Rainbow said before dashing off. After school was done for the day, the students left to return to their homes while the Main Seven parted ways saying their goodbyes until tomorrow. Sunset herself started to walk home on the sidewalk while listening to her music with headphones. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon.
But after she left the school premises, there was a strange sports car with dark red windows and windshield parked right behind her in the left side of the street. No one was in the car. After she passed by the car, the vehicle lowered its front left window; out of it flew a tiny tracker that latched unto her book bag without her noticing it. The window then closed.
“Commander Shockwave, there was a human girl passing by.” the car spoke through its radio. “My sensors picked up a strange energy signal from her. I just ejected a tracking device on her just in case she is up to something.”
“Excellent, Sideways. She might the key for Cybertron’s salvation. Follow her to her home to see what she is up to. Do not do anything else until further orders. Understood?” Shockwave commanded via com link.
“Crystal.” Sideways complied.
The Decepticon scout then turned its engines on and drove through the same path that Sunset walked in.
IN THE NEMESIS
Shockwave sat on his throne while Starscream stood next to him. They watched the other Decepticons carry the dark energon and large coffins of dead Cybertronians one by one in the laboratory. However, the Combaticons were having a beef with the Insecticons while performing their duties but Shockwave’s piercing gaze kept them in line.
“I must admit, Shockwave, that your plan to destroy the Autobots is...brilliant. At least yours is actually ‘logical’ as you say unlike the half-baked plans that half-wit Megatron made before.” Starscream complemented.
“Indeed. Megatron never had the competence to actually get things accomplished in the most logical way possible. This plan I constructed for a millennia will save Cybertron and wipe out our enemies. Planet earth is the perfect medium through which our home planet will be revitalized.” Shockwave said.
“But how exactly are we going to deal with the Autobots? You heard what Skywarp reported. Those fools are now protectors of this...Equestria or whatever it is?” Starscream questioned.
“Pardon me, Commanders, but you might want to see what I wanted to show you earlier.” Thundercracker said running to them.
“Ahh, yes, you did say you had something of use. What is it?” Shockwave asked with interest.
“It had better be useful, Thundercracker!” Starscream uttered with scorn.
“Behold, the ancient artifact!” Thundercracker shouted before opening his hand revealing the Orb Ruby.
“What is that??” Starscream asked.
“This is the Orb Ruby. It has the magical power of turning any being into evil, and it can lure anyone into a trap since it has mesmerizing abilities.” Thundercracker explained.
“Where did you get that?” Shockwave asked.
“I retrieved it after the Autobots defeated us in Equestria.” Thundercracker replied. He purposely left out Grogar so he wouldn’t receive any verbal chastising from Starscream knowing he wouldn’t appreciate the knowledge that the ‘Cons were led by a mere ram albeit a powerful one.
Shockwave took hold of the Orb Ruby and gazed upon it. After contemplating what the Seeker explained and how they should deal with the Autobots, an idea sparked in his head. His optic glowed brightly as he then looked upon the two Seekers. “This is logically perfect. I know just the way how to deal with Optimus Prime and his troops.” Shockwave darkly spoke.
