"My...orders? You mean Twilight's not with you?" Cadence asked
"No Princess, she and her friends' whereabouts are still unknown. You are the only Princess left, we require your assistance." Tempest said
"I'm afraid I must refuse Tempest. I was never meant to command an army. It is not my destiny. It is yours, and it is theirs." Cadence gestured to Spitfire, then to King Thorax, Pharynx, and Dragon Lorddess Ember.
"Princess." Thorax said
"King Thorax. Prince Pharynx. Dragon Lorddess Ember" Cadence said, nodding her head. "As I was saying Tempest. Use the assets you have by your side. Such as the Captain of the Aerial Military, the ruler of the Dragons, and the Commander of the Changeling Army."
"I'll do my best Princess."
"That is all I ask of you Tempest. Meanwhile, I have more important things to take care of." Cadence said, lifting up her daughter into her forelegs.
"Princess Flurry Heart?" Tempest asked
"Yes. It was strange. Twilight said that Flurry would be 'Equestria's last hope'. She told Shining and I to protect Flurry at all costs, that's what we're doing now." Cadence replied
"Continue with Twilight's orders, and reinforce the protection on the Empire. Protection of the Princess would be worthless if the villains can get into the Empire. Princess Twilight obviously thought that she could be leading her friends straight into a death trap, and gave you those instructions to make sure Equestria had a Princess to lead them if anything happens." Tempest ordered
"No! You have to find them, I don't want to lose my sister-in-law, or her friends." Cadence gasped, holding Flurry close.
"We'll find them before that happens, I promise." Tempest assured Cadence, who nodded, horn glowing as she stopped the potion from her end.
"Now, here's our plan." Tempest said, but before she could say anything, a shout came from behind them.
"Yaks fight with ponies!" Yona ran towards them, followed by a bunch of her fellow yaks.
"Yona!" Smolder, Ocellus, Sandbar, and the CMCs cried.
"Hiiii!" Silverstream landed beside them, followed by hundreds of Hippogriffs.
"You convinced them?" Ocellus asked
"Yep. Queen Novo said it was time she repaid her debt to Princess Twilight and her friends for defeating the Storm King." Silverstream replied happily.
"That means the only one left is..." Smolder trailed off.
"Where is Gallus?" Silverstream asked
"Don't know. I hope he managed to convince his species." Sandbar said, worried. A lion's roar came from above them, as Gallus, Gilda, and Gabby landed.
"Gabby!" the CMCs shouted, and she hugged them.
"You guys miss me?" she asked happily.
"Gilda? I thought you were a bully?" Lyra said from beside Bon Bon.
"If ponies can change, Gryphons can too." Gilda responded. "Gallus told us what happened. Are we gonna save Dash and her friends or what?"
"We're trying to come up with a plan. Where's the rest of your kind?" Tempest asked
"They're the only ones I was able to convince. Most Gryphons don't understand friendship. Apparently these two do, though." Gallus responded
"Alright, now, is anyone else going to-" Tempest was cut off.
"Wait for us!" Autumn Blaze ran up to them.
"Mah sister told me 'bout you, you're Autumn Blaze, you're a Kirin!" Apple Bloom cried
"Yep, that's me! We saw an explosion from Canterlot and came as fast as we could, what can we do?" Autumn Blaze asked
"Everycreature, you need to see this!" Misty Fly called, and the Pegasi took off, watching as three Windigos circled above Canterlot, followed by the three villains emerging from the castle.
"We need to act fast. If the villains are over there then Princess Twilight and her friends have to be close by." Tempest said
"My medallion can create a passage to anywhere I wish. We can use it to get to Princess Twilight and her friends." Chancellor Neighsay told her.
"Then we'll use that. Good thing too, the villains just ran into a field at the bottom of the Canterlot Mountain. Take us to the hill at the edge of the forest that's on the opposite side of the field." Tempest then turned to the others. "Winged creatures will attack from the sky, Unicorns and Kirin will counter the villains with their magic, and Earth Ponies and Yaks will attack with all their strength."
"The Wonderbolts can lead the Aerial Attack." Spitfire suggested
"The Changelings can make it look like there's more than one group of Elements of Harmony to attack. It'll confuse them." Pharynx added
"The Dragons will use their fire." Ember said
"Then let's go." Tempest stated, and Neighsay touched his medallion, creating a vortex.
"For Equestria!" they all shouted, running through the vortex to the hills.
