From a purely pragmatic standpoint I realize that if a changeling prisoner doesn't want our help or to co-exist peacefully, we're essentially condemning them to death by starvation barring volunteers. I realize many might consider it a mercy, and that our operating standard is such that there have been changeling casualties. I would still greatly prefer it if you would not design - somehow - your tool such that it is lethal in cases wherein it does not function as an aid. I will not speculate whether or not it is actually functioning as intended.

In any case, I am still proud of you for your accomplishment and the passion with which you tackled the problem. It is a shame that the unnamed changeling was so uncooperative.

I suppose my one truly chiding remark is that you should have remembered your promise to Stu. Just because he is not a pony does not mean your promises should not be made with intent to keep them.
