//------------------------------// // The spies is everywhere // Story: Equestrian Sniper // by Moonbeam the Changeling //------------------------------// Spies is the most thing that is concerned in sniper school. It might be an Equestrian pony giving pieces of information to the griffons. He or she might tell the griffons to deploy their men on Manehattan since Manehattan is the only nearest city to the Griffon-Equestrian border. The next day... "Listen up, today some of you will return home, some of you will stay here. Those names that I read will be sent home by our busses." Artemis shout it out loud. "Big Mclntosh, Soarin, Applejack..." Artemis reading those names out loud... Some of them willing to return, but only one of them unwilling. "Art, have you sent Soarin back home?" Zedwin asked worriedly. "Yes, I had," Artemis replied. "Are you sure this will make everything better?" asked Zedwin again. "Maybe, but we are not sure enough that he worked for the Griffons. Maybe he likes to roam around these buildings to suit himself." Artemis told her. "But hey, we wait for him to return. Maybe he'll come back soon to avenge." But then someone interrupted their conversation. It's the general who wants to talk to them both. "Hey, did you just sent Soarin home?" asked the General. They both nodded their heads as a sign of yes. "Did you know we received information from our intel? They suspected him working with the griffons. We didn't have much evidence to detain him but keep watching over him. Maybe he'll plan something tonight." the General told them. "But sir, what if he does something worse to us?" Artemis worried. "He will, that's why I told you to keep an eye on him." the General replied. "That's all I have to tell you, folks. Remember to keep an eye on him." Then the general leave quickly. But before he could get in his car... piuut! The general got shot before he could get in his bulletproof car. "The general got shot! Everypony! Quick! Spot that ---hole!" one of the General's bodyguards commanded. Luckily piuut! piuut! piuut! "I'm shot! I'm shot!" "Stay there! I cover you!" "Direction 120! 120! I see a reflection from the scope!" "Khhhhhh, he's dead. All clear. The chaos stopped. Looks like it ain't Soarin. It's a Griffon. "But who's gave the information that the general would come here?" asked one of the general's bodyguards. "Then Zedwin says a simple word to the bodyguard, 'Keep an eye on Soarin. He might be the spy.'" Without wasting any precious time, all of them raided Soarin's apartment. "Quick! Every second is precious!" the commander commanded the ponies to raid Soarin's apartment. Bang! They kicked the door, but then... Brrrrrrrrrt!!! "It's a trap! The room is guarded by sentry gun!" the commander warned the ponies. Meanwhile... They rushed to the hospital, the general is dying since he was shot in the neck. "Sir, hold on! We're trying to get you there quickly!" the general's driver told him to be patient. They all rushed to the hospital as fast as they could. Fortunately, they reached the hospital safely. The general wouldn't get to survive if they didn't arrive on time. Back at Soarin's apartment... Beep, beep, beep, beep, beeeeeeeeeeep. Booooooom! It is a trap, Soarin's working with the griffons. No wonder why he always roams at the midnight, probably he plant some bombs on the important parts of the sniper school such as the ammunition storage, the hostel, the office and a whole lot more. "No time to waste, inform Zedwin to evacuate the school along with the cadets and the EEOD units to inspect the building. Hurry!" the sergeant of the raiding team commanding on one of his officers to warn Zedwin. "Hello?" Zedwin greeted. "Zeddy! Evacuate the school! It's unsafe there! No time to explain, just do it!" the officer told them. So then, she rang the emergency bell. Then she announced "This is not a test! Evacuate this building and gather at the emergency point!" "What happened?" Ocelli asked Dori. He replied "No idea, just follow them." "Do you think this is a real emergency?" again Ocelli asked Dori. "I guess," replied Dori. "Where is the goddamn EEOD unit?" Artemis started to get mad as he is concerned for ponies' safety. Since they didn't want to fall to another trap, they watch their steps and every inch of the buildings, so they wouldn't be any trap. "Bomb spotted, defusing the bomb." said one of the EEOD units. "Where did you find it?" asked the commander that leading the EEOD unit. "Ammunition storage," the guy replied. "How much?" the commander asked again. "One, only one." he replied. It's odd for them because there's only one bomb and it's placed inside the ammunition storage room. But as soon they switch on the lights, they get it. Tons of 7.72 mm caliber, grenades, smoke bomb, stun grenade, and other explosive materials. It took them 15 hours to inspect those buildings and declare that they're safe to use. "This is like a Cold War, eh?" Ocelli told Dori. "1980?" asked Dori. "Yeah 1980," she replied. "Smart cookie," Dori teasing Ocelli while smiling. "Shut up, Dori!" Ocelli told Dori to shut his mouth as she's blushing.
