Dante ran up the ramp that led him to a wide platform atop the tower.
Where someone he knew awaited him.
“You showed up,” commented the white-haired figure as the rain continued to fall. He turned to face Dante.
“You sure know how to throw a party,” commented Dante. “No food, no drinks and the only babe just left!”
Suddenly, Agni and Rudra appeared on Dante’s back.
“Young Master, that is unfair!” Eryx Agni spoke up.
“We provided refreshments!” Eryx Rudra reminded him.
“Also, the hosts don’t know when to shut up!” Dante finished grumpily.
“You let them talk, Brother?” Vergil asked in open surprise. “You are far more permissive than I would be, more than Father was. My sincerest apologies if you haven’t enjoyed yourself.”
“Brother?” Eryx Agni spoke up. “He is also a Son of Sparda and Eva?”
“Then this must be Vergil!” Eryx Rudra confirmed. “But, who are we supposed to serve?”
“I have no need of you,” Vergil scolded.
“That is settled!” Eryx Agni stated.
“We will continue to serve Dante!” Eryx Rudra confirmed.
“And here I was, so eager to see you,” complained Vergil. “I couldn’t concentrate on preparations for the bash.”
“Whatever, at any rate. It’s been a whole year since we last met. Things are bound to change” pointed out Dante.
“Yes,” replied Vergil. “Things will change tonight.”
“How about a kiss from your’ Brother. Or better yet,” he pointed Ivory at Vergil. “How about a kiss from this?”
The two stood in silence for several seconds.
“So, this is what they call a heartwarming family reunion, eh?” asked Dante.
“You got that right,” agreed Vergil.
Dante held his right glove in front of his belt buckle. DRIVER ON! The magic circle appeared and transformed it into the Gate Driver.
Vergil copied his Brother’s actions. DRIVER ON! NOW! The magic circle transformed his belt buckle into the Sorcerer Driver.
Dante punched the Rebellion Ring into the Gate Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forward. SET! OPEN! R-E-B-E-L-L-I-O-N! The Driver sprung open. “HENSHIN!” shouted Dante as the Rebellion magic circle appeared from his Driver and moved back through him, transforming him. He was now Kamen Rider Dante, Rebellion Style.
Vergil pressed down on the Sorcerer Driver’s left Shift Lever, turning the Hand Author to the left. MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN! Then Vergil held up his left hand, revealing he was wearing a silver Ring with a black stone set into it. The stone had a blue sword engraved into it with a white dove wing coming from the left and a red batwing emerging from the right. This is the Yamato Ring.
Vergil scanned the Ring across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. YAMATO! He held his left hand out in front of him and a blue magic circle with a katana in the centre of it appear in front of him. NOW! It moved back through Vergil, transforming him into Kamen Rider Vergil.
Dante gazed at his Brother, he knew for a fact that, like him, Vergil’s Kamen Rider powers had changed. Whereas Dante had gained more forms, Vergil had lost some of this.
This was both good and bad for Dante. It was good as Vergil’s stats did not change, however, it meant he could use all of his normal level powers without changing Style’s.
Vergil drew the Yamato Katana.
Dante held out the Rebellion Blade.
They lunged.
Dante slashed at his Brother three times with the Rebellion Blade.
Vergil placed the Yamato Katana back into the Space Sheath and blocked all three slashes before kicking his Brother back. Then he slid a Ring into his right middle finger before pressing his Driver’s right Shift Lever. The Ring was silver with a black gem in the centre of it. It had a silver sword engraved into it.
“No, you don’t!” Dante dashed toward his Brother.
Vergil scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. SLASHER! NOW! He drew the Yamato Katana as it was covered in black energy. “Die!” he hissed in a venomous monotone.
Dante punched the Rebellion Ring into the back of the Rebellion Blade. THREE! REBELLION SABER STRIKE! He covered his sword in black energy.
The two Brothers brought their swords around, clashing twice before Vergil increased the energy around the Yamato Katana. The swords heated up as Vergil forced his Brother’s blade to the side and swiped the Yamato Katana across Dante’s chest armour.
Dante was sent flying back, he slammed into the ground once and flipped back to his boots as he charged, slashing at Vergil twice. The other Kamen Rider blocked both attacks with the Space Sheath before being punched in the faceplate. He skidded back as Dante jumped into the air, slamming the Rebellion Ring into the back of the Rebellion Blade. ONE! REBELLION SABER STRIKE! “Stay down!” shouted Dante as he went shooting down.
“Never!” shot back Vergil as replaced the Slasher Ring with a new Ring. It was silver with a red gem cut into it, the gem had a silver volcano engraved onto it. He pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned the new Ring. VOLCANO! NOW! Vergil drew the Yamato Katana, he ran his right glove over the back of the blade, covering it in red energy before he slammed the tip of the sword into the ground. A circle of red energy erupted around him, sending Dante flying back with sparks being released from his armour.
“Ow!” groaned Dante as he got back up. “Using power moves now?” he demanded of his Brother.
“If it is not broken then don't fix it,” replied Vergil as he switched the Volcano Ring with a new Ring that had a blue gem in the centre of it with a silver sword, accompanied by speed lines, engraved into it. He hit the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned his right glove across its Hand Author. RAPID SLASH! NOW! Blue magical energy covered the Space Sheath as Vergil gripped the Yamato Katana’s handle. “Now die!” he shouted as he blurred forward, spinning around to build up momentum.
“No, thanks! It’s bad for my complexion,” replied Dante as he switched the Rebellion Ring for the Arbiter Ring, he punched it into the Gate Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forward. SET! OPEN! A-R-B-I-T-E-R! The Arbiter magic circle appeared from his Driver and moved back through him.
Then Dante slid on the Buffa Ring before slamming it into his Driver’s right slot. BUFFA! GO! R-R-R-ROYAL GUARD! He held his right glove out to the side as the Buffa magic circle appeared and moved through him.
Vergil was on him.
Just before the Yamato Katana could make contact, Dante used the Buffa Mantle to deflect the sword, he stumbled back and took another slash as Vergil recovered faster than he could. Dante punched the Buffa Ring into the Gate Driver’ right slot.
“Die!” roared Vergil, as he spun his sword around, gathering light blue energy into it as he slashed down.
ONE! BUFFA GUARD! “No way in hell!” roared Dante as he punched forward, firing a blast of red energy that stopped Vergil’s attack, the Buffa Mantle started to glow.
“Let’s give this a go!” roared Vergil as he switched the Rapid Slash Ring for another Ring. It was silver with a black gem embedded in the centre of it, the gem had a silver X engraved into it. Vergil kicked his Brother across the faceplate and pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever. Then he lashed out with a roundhouse kick that Dante blocked and used to throw his Brother away. While in the air, he scanned his right glove over the Driver’s Hand Author. CROSSCUT! NOW! Black energy covered the Yamato Katana as Vergil slashed Dante with five fast and precise slashes.
Dante took a step back as sparks bled from his armour. “Not bad!” he grunted as he slammed the Arbiter Ring into the back of the Arbiter Axe. FOUR! AXE STRIKE! Red energy covered the Arbiter Axe as Dante slammed it into Vergil.
The older Brother drew the Yamato Katana, holding the blade in both gloves as he blocked the attack. Suddenly, the axe weapon unleashed three pulses of red energy that sent him flying back. “Argh!” he flipped through the air and landed on his boots. “Cheap trick!” he shouted. “But one good turn deserves another!”
“Bring it!” roared Dante.
Dante drew Ebony and Ivory before opening fire with a barrage of bullets but Vergil spun the Yamato Katana in a circle, catching the bullets and throwing them off to the side.
He raced toward Dante as he switched the Cross Cut Ring for a silver Ring with a light blue gem that had a silver explosion engraved into it. Dante drew the Arbiter Axe and slashed down only for Vergil to avoid it and press his Driver’s right Shift Lever. Then he jumped over another swing as he scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. FLARE NOW! The Yamato Katana caught fire as he spun around, slashing Dante across the waist several times.
With a grunt of pain Dante staggered back, he switched the Arbiter Ring for the Osiris Ring. Vergil stabbed at his Brother, Dante punched the Osiris Ring into the Gate Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forward. SET! OPEN! O-S-I-R-I-S! He held his left glove into the air as the Osiris magic circle appeared and fell down through him, knocking Vergil back through the air. “Ha!” shouted Dante as he slashed his Brother several times with the Osiris Scythe at rapid speeds.
Vergil was able to block every single slash with the uttermost ease.
“That level of power will do nothing against me, Brother!” shouted Vergil as he found an opening in Dante’s attack and kicked him back with a hard boot. He ran forward and punched Dante across the faceplate after switching the Flare Ring for a new Ring. It was silver with a red stone set in it that had a pair of silver humans walking away from each other engraved into it. Vergil knocked another slash away as he pressed down on the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever. He scanned his right glove over his Driver’s Hand Author as Dante came charging in again. DIVORCE! NOW! Red energy covered the Space Sheath, Vergil drew the Yamato Katana. His first slash knocked the Osiris Scythe out of Dante’s hands, the second and third slash cut his Brother several times, making sparks bleed from the glowing red cuts before they sealed.
Dante grunted in pain. “See how you like this!” he summoned the Osiris Scythe back to his glove and punched the Osiris Ring into the back of it. THREE! SCYTHE STRIKE! Dante leapt into the air and swung the Osiris Scythe down at Vergil.
“You really think that you’ll be safe in the air?!” Vergil switched the Divorce Ring for a new Ring. It was silver with a dark blue stone set in it and a silver silhouette jumping into the air engraved into it. Vergil pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned the Ring across it as the scythe got closer. TRICK UP! NOW! Suddenly, Vergil vanished in a blue blur, he appeared in front of Dante.
“WHAT?!” shouted Dante in shock.
“Die!” Vergil switched the Trick Up Ring for a new Ring. It was silver with a black gem embedded in it, the gem had a silver sword engraved into it. He pressed down on the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever, kicked Dante’s arm away and scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. AERIAL RAVE! NOW! Vergil drew the Yamato Katana and swiped his Brother across the chest armour three times.
Sparks flew from Dante as he was sent smashing back into the platform. He grunted as he struggled to get back up. “Your right, Brother, that level of power will not work against you!” Dante switched the Osiris Ring for the Aquila Ring and the Cerberus Ring. He punched them into the Gate Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forward. SET! OPEN! A-Q-U-I-L-A! CERBERUS! GO! CERBERUS MIX! The Aquila and Guardian magic circles appeared from the Gate Driver and then moved back through Dante. Transforming him into the Aquila Cerberus Style. He held out his gloves and the Aquila Cerberus appeared in them.
“Now that’s more like it,” commented Vergil.
Dante jumped into the air and came down, swinging the Aquil Cerberus at his Brother.
Vergil blocked the attack with the Yamato Katana and then kicked Dante across the faceplate.
His Brother recovered faster than before and struck Vergil across the faceplate with the Aquila Cerberus. This time he was able to punch the Rings on his left glove into the Gate Driver. ONE! SHURIKEN STRIKE! Dante spun the Aquila Cerberus, slicing Vergil several times with split-second speed that made his arms blur.
Vergil stumbled back as ice started to form over his body. “This will not hold me!”
“It’s doing a pretty good job!” shot back Dante.
Vergil switched the Aerial Rave Ring for a silver Ring with a red gem embedded into it, the gem had a silver bee cut into it.
“No, you don’t!” Dante dashed forward in an attempt to stop him.
Vergil pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever.
Dante swung the Aquila Cerberus.
He was too late.
Vergil scanned the Ring across his Driver’s Hand Author. KILLER BEE! NOW! Red fire covered his body, letting him break free of the ice. Vergil jumped into the air, causing Dante to miss, he shot into a downward kick that slammed into Dante’s faceplate, sending him flying back.
Dante skipped across the platform like a stone before he got back to his boots. He drew Ebony and Ivory before unleashing a barrage of bullets at Vergil.
His Brother would have smirked if he had been in his human form. He spun the Yamato Katana around in a circle, blocking all of the bullets.
“Since when could you do that?!” shouted Dante.
“Do you really think that I would not be prepared?” asked Vergil.
“Good point!” Dante held down on the triggers of his hand cannons. EBONY AND IVORY STRIKE! Black and white energy were pulled into them before he let go off the triggers. “Shuriken Barrage!” firing a pair shurikens that multiplied into over a hundred copies.
“Not bad, but not good enough!” Vergil spun the Yamato Katana, knocking all of the shurikens away. Only for sparks to erupt from his shoulder pauldron as a purple energy arrow zipped into him. “What?!”
Dante took aim with Artemis.
“Tich, another firearm,” spat Vergil in distaste.
“If it works then it works!” shot back Dante as he pulled the trigger. Three energy arrows appeared around him and shot at Vergil.
The other Kamen Rider switched the Killer Bee Ring for a silver Ring that had a blue gem embedded into it which had a silver person, darting to the side, engraved into it. Vergil deflected of the arrows as he pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever.
Dante kept firing. “Oh yeah!”
Vergil scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. TRICK SIDE! NOW! Vergil vanished in a teleport, appearing to the side, just out of Dante’s sight.
“What?!” shouted Dante as he missed.
Vergil switched the Trick Side Ring for a silver Ring with a dark blue gem embedded into it, the gem had a silver sword engraved onto it. Vergil pressed down on his Driver’s right Shift Lever.
Dante turned to his Brother. “Shit!”
Vergil scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. SUMMON SWORD! NOW! A sword made from blue magical energy appeared over his shoulder and shot forward. It slammed into Dante and drove him back through the air.
Dante landed on the ground and hissed as he rubbed his shin guard where the sword had made contact. “Take this!” Dante pointed Artemis into the air and held down on the firearm's trigger. Purple energy charged into the Phantom Arm Cannon’s barrel. ACID RAIN! Dante let go of the trigger, firing a sphere of purple magic into the air. It exploded into a storm of shurikens that rain down toward Vergil.
Sparks flew from Vergil’s armour as the attack hit him. Vergil switched the Summon Sword Ring for the Trick Side Ring, he pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. TRICK SIDE! NOW! Vergil vanished to the side in a dark blue teleportation, avoiding the rest of the attack. “Not bad Brother, but not good enough!”
“It was good enough to hurt you!” Dante shot back.
“A mere scratch,” replied Vergil.
“Whatever helps you sleep at night!” Dante shot back.
Vergil growled as he switched the Trick Side Ring with a silver Ring that had a black gem embedded into it with many silver slashes carved into the gem. He pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever.
Dante switched the Buffa Royalguard Ring for the Chameleon Swordmaster Ring and punched it into the Gate Driver’s right Slot. CHAMELIO GO! S-S-S-SWORDMASTER! He held his right glove out to the side as the magic circle appeared, moved through him and transformed the Buffa Mantle into the Chamelio Mantle.
Vergil scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. Then started charging black energy into the Yamato Katana. “Die!” he spat out as he drew the Yamato Katana from the Space Sheath and slashed through the air. He replaced the sword back into its holder.
Dante’s eyes had a second to widen before he was trapped in a sphere of twisted space. He was then slashed from every direction by sword slashes that came out of nowhere! “Argh!” sparks exploded from Dante’s body as the attack ended and he was dropped to the ground. ‘One more hit like that and I’ll change back!’ he thought in panic.
“You have gotten stronger, Brother,” commented Vergil. “But it is still nothing compared to the power that I now wield!”
“Then why am I still able to stand?” Dante gave Vergil no time to say anything as he darted forward and slashed down. Vergil blocked, locking weapons with Dante, only to get a boot to the chest plate. Vergil skidded back and rammed his sword into the ground to stop his momentum.
Dante ran forward and he punched the two Rings on his left glove into the Gate Driver. TWO! SHURIKEN STRIKE! He leapt into the air and started spinning before slamming the Aquila Cerberus down. Vergil blocked with his sword, only for his legs to buckle.
“Not bad, Brother,” grunted the older of the siblings. He twisted his sword, forcing his Brother’s weapon to the side, allowing Vergil to escape the other way.
While Dante was recovering, Vergil switched the Trick Side Ring with a silver Ring that had a light blue gemstone embedded into it, with a silver planet cut into the stone. He hit his Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. ORBIT! NOW! Dante turned around as Vergil leapt into the air while spinning, then his Brother slashed down towards Dante. He used the Aquila Cerberus to block, but the Yamato Katana cut straight through his guard and swiped a light blue line into Dante.
“Grrr!” Dante staggered back, flaring his power to stop the cut from exploding and taking him out.
“So you recovered?” asked Vergil. “Then I guess I will have to beat you down harder!”
“If you can!” shouted Dante.
“Tough-talking considering I have done a lot of damage to you,” replied Vergil.
“You won’t do anymore!” shouted Dante.
Vergil switched the Orbit Ring with a silver Ring that had a dark blue gem set into it and eight swords engraved into the gem. The swords were in a circle with their tips pointed outward. He pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned his glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. SPIRAL SWORDS! NOW! Eight swords appeared around Vergil, they were in a circle formation and spun around him in a clockwise direction.
“Oh, this isn’t good,” deadpanned Dante.
“You got that right,” replied Vergil as he ran at his twin.
Dante punched the Rings on his left glove into the Gate Driver. THREE! SHURIKEN STRIKE! He started spinning the Aquila Cerberus in front of him as a makeshift shield. But for each slash he blocked, a sword got through. This was thanks to the Spiral Swords blocking the Aquila Cerberus and slowing down its spin.
“Gotta take a risk,” Dante punched the Rings on his left glove into the Gate Driver. FOUR! SHURIKEN STRIKE! He made the central ring of the Aquila Cerberus grow in size before spinning it around his body like a hula hoop. The Spiral Sword clashed against the Aquila Cerberus and shattered from its rapid spinning.
“Big mistake, Brother,” insulted Vergil as he switched the Spiral Sword Ring for a new Ring. The Ring was coloured silver and had a light blue gem in the centre of it. The gem had a silver wave engraved into it. Vergil pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever and then scanned his right glove. RISING STAR! NOW! Light blue energy covered the Yamato Katana as Vergil pulled it from the Space Sheath.
“Oh yeah?!” demanded Dante. “And why is-?!”
Vergil slashed the ground, sending out a wave of light blue magic that stunned Dante and threw him into the air. Then Vergil switched the Rising Star Ring for a new Ring. It was coloured silver and the gem was dark blue. The gem had eight silver swords engraved into it all of which pointed upwards. As Dante reached the arc of his throw, Vergil scanned his right glove over his Driver’s Hand Author after hitting the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever. BLISTERING SWORDS! Eight swords of blue energy appeared on both sides of Vergil. They darted through the air and smashed into Dante. Sparks flew from the impact points as Dante was smashed back into the ground.
“Not so tough now?” asked Vergil.
“You’ll pay for that!” roared Dante. He switched the Aquila Ring for the Eryx Ring and the Cerberus Ring for the Agni and Rudra Ring. Then he punched both of the Rings onto the Gate Driver’s left slots. SET! OPEN! E-R-Y-X! ANGI AND RUDRA! LET’S GO! AGNI AND RUDRA! The two magic circles appeared from Dante’s Driver and moved back through him. Transforming Dante into the Eryx Firestorm Style.
“Switching weapons now?” asked Vergil.
“What’s your point?!” demanded Dante.
“Just wondering if you really are that desperate,” replied Vergil. ‘That’s it, get angry and made a mistake!’
“Bastard!” roared Dante as he ran at his Brother, slashing widely.
“Last time I checked, we are siblings,” commented Vergil as he avoided several attacks. “If I am a bastard, then that makes you one as well,” he ducked under a slash from the Eryx Angi, only to be hit by the Eryx Rudra. “What the-?!”
“Got you!” Dante punched the two Rings into the Gate Driver. ONE! FIST STRIKE! Red fire covered the Eryx Agni, while blue wind surged around the Eryx Rudra. Dante unleashed a cross slash that carved into Vergil’s chest plate.
Vergil roared in pain as sparks came from the impact point. He staggered back and fell to one knee as mico explosion went off around his armour, causing him a great deal of pain.
He recovered and glared at his unrepentant Brother. “You tricked me!” he hissed out.
“Big-time,” replied Dante smugly.
Vergil sighed. “I guess that I only have myself to blame for falling for such a simple trick.”
“Damn right you do!” replied Dante.
“That will not happen again,” stated Vergil.
“We’ll see about that,” replied Dante. He knew that they had both become pretty hot headed after they thought Sunset had died. But since he knew that their sister was alive, Dante had calmed down a fair bit.
Vergil switched the Yamato Ring for the Thunder Ring and pressed his Driver’s left Shift Lever. Then he scanned his left glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. THUNDER TRIGGER! NOW! Vergil held his left glove into the air as the Thunder Trigger Magic circle appeared over his helmet and fell through him, transforming Vergil into the Thunder Trigger Style.
His Doppelganger appeared next to him.
“Bring it!” Dante switched the Rings on his left glove for the Angel Trigger Ring, then he punched it into the Gate Driver’s left slot. TRIGGER! GO! ANGEL! AN-AN-AN-ANGEL! The Angel Trigger magic circle appeared above him as he thrust his left glove into the air. The magic circle dropped down through Dante, transforming him into the Angel Trigger Style.
The two brothers glared at each other.
Vergil’s Doppelganger made the first move, he charged at Dante. The other Kamen Rider blocked with the Rebellion Magnum after firing several shots that the construct batted away. The Doppelganger pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever once before scanning the Blistering Sword Ring across the Driver’s Hand Author. BLISTERING SWORDS! Eight swords covered in green lightning appeared with four on either side of the Doppelganger.
“Whoah!” shouted Dante as he jumped back, the swords missed and stabbed into the ground. “That was too close!” Then he looked up and saw the Doppelganger had already summoned eight more swords. “Not a chance!” Dante punched the Angel Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. ANGEL ONE! MAGNUM STRIKE! He fired a sharp beam of blue light that cut through the air. The Doppelganger used his sword to block, but the shot curved around the Yamato Katana and cut into his chest armour. He lost focus and the swords were dispelled.
“Ha! Take that!” shouted Dante.
“Forgetting someone, Brother?” asked a voice from behind him.
Dante turned.
JUDGMENT CUT! NOW!
Just in time to see Vergil race past. “Oh shit!” Dante had no time to do anything as he was covered by a sphere of twisted space. The next thing he knew, he was being slashed over and over by slashes of lightning that were doing even more damage than the last attack. The attack ended and Dante was dropped to the ground. Only to be picked up by another sphere and the attack to repeat. This happened four times in total before the attack finally ended.
Dante got back up and snarled as he switched the Trigger Ring into its Devil Mode. Then he punched it into his Driver’s left slot. TRIGGER! DEVIL GO! DE-DE-DE-DEVIL! Dante held his left glove down to the ground as the Devil Trigger magic circle appeared under his boots. “Let’s do this!” he roared as the magic circle rose up through him. Transforming Dante into the Devil Trigger Style.
“I shall respond in kind!” shouted Vergil as he switched the Thunder Ring for the Gravity Ring, he pressed his Driver’s left Shift Lever and scanned his left glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. GRAVITY TRIGGER! NOW! Vergil held his left glove down to the ground as the Gravity Trigger magic circle appeared under his boots and rose up through him. Transforming Vergil into the Gravity Trigger Style.
His Doppelganger vanished.
Dante fired several high powered bursts from the Rebellion Magnum and then punched the Devil Trigger Ring into the back of it as Vergil blocked all of the blasts with the Yamato Katana. ONE! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! Dante fired three bursts of red energy from the Rebellion Magnum. They shot through the air and slammed into Vergil, knocking him back several steps.
Vergil looked up to see several more blasts heading toward his faceplate. “You shall die!” he pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. VOLCANO! NOW! Red and orange energy covered the tip of the Yamato Katana as Vergil stabbed it into the ground. A blast of red energy and orange light surrounded him, knocking all of Dante’s shots away.
“At least I know which way he has to come from now,” muttered Dante. ANGEL LIFT! NOW! Suddenly, a small dagger shot past him and there was a bright flash of light behind Dante. “I forgot that we could do that, to be perfectly honest,” muttered Dante.
CROSSCUT! NOW! He was cut across the backplate five times and sent spinning through the air from a powerful downward slash.
Dante landed on the ground and punched the Devil Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. ONE! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! He fired a burst of red energy into the ground and a barrier formed around the Kamen Rider.
“Do you really think that will stop me?” asked Vergil.
“No, but at least I’ll have a chance to catch my breath,” replied Dante.
“As if I am going to let that happen!” shouted Vergil as he raced forward and pressed down on his Driver’s right Shift Lever. He stopped in front of the barrier and scanned the Divorce Ring across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. DIVORCE! NOW! Orange and red energy covered the Yamato Katana as Vergil slashed once, twice, three times. The first slash cracked the barrier, the second dented it and the third shattered the barrier into pieces.
Dante used this opening to draw the Rebellion Magnum and punch the Devil Trigger Ring into the back of it. SIX! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! A massive amount of red energy gathered around the magnum before Dante pulled the trigger. “Go flying!” he fired a powerful cannon blast of red magic that slammed right into Vergil and sent him flying backwards through the air.
Vergil landed back on the ground. “Time to end this!” he growled out as he pressed down on his Driver’s left Shift Lever and scanned the Gravity Ring across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. YES! GRAVITY FINISH STRIKE! UNDERSTAND?! A massive amount of golden magical energy built up around his body.
“I couldn’t agree more!” shouted Dante as he punching the Devil Trigger Ring into the Gate Driver’s left slot. GO! DEVIL! KICK STRIKE! Burning red energy blazed around Dante’s body before being pulled into his right boot.
Both Kamen Riders jumped into the air, flipped once and then extended their right legs forward for a flying Rider Kick. “Planet Cutter / Hell End!” they shouted. Vergil’s right boot created a spear of golden gravity magic energy while Dante’s right boot was set ablaze with red magic energy.
Both Kamen Riders met in the middle, their attacks crashing into each other, making the tower below rumble and shake. Indeed, even the air itself vibrated from the intensity of the power that these two Riders of evil and good were putting out. Gold and red lightning sparked around them as Vergil and Dante tried to beat out the other and drive their attack forward. The power of their Rider Kicks created a buildup of power between them. It grew brighter and brighter until it could not withstand anymore.
The power burst in a mighty explosion that made Dante fly back to where he started, thankfully he was able to correct himself at the last second and skidded to a halt.
Vergil was able to do the same, albeit with a bit of stumble and a lot of panting, he had sustained a lot of backlash damage from the explosion.
But it seemed as if Dante wasn’t as affected as much as he was.
“It’s over, Brother,” snapped out Dante.
“It is not over until I am no longer standing!” shouted Vergil as he slid a new Ring onto his left middle finger. It was silver with a red stone set in it, the stone had a silver flame engraved into it.
Dante raised an eyebrow. “You’ve got a new form?” he shouted in shock.
Vergil pressed his Driver’s left Shift Lever. “As I said before, my power has grown over the last several years!” shouted Vergil as he scanned his left glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. SPECIAL! NOW! He held his left glove out in front of him as a new magic circle appeared. It was red with a red dragon, breathing fire, in the centre of it. It passed through Vergil and his body changed.
His faceplate was now a black circle shaped gem with silver square shaped goggles where his eyes should have been. His hood had turned steel eye and his helmet had a pair of spikes, one coming from each chin, that pointed downward. His suit had turned dark blue, while his gloves had remained black. His boots had turned dark blue and now had claws coming out of them. He had a long sheath on his left arm that held an unknown weapon. His robe and cape had both become dark blue to finish the look. His robe had red piping while the inside was light blue and the cloak had light blue piping with the inside being red.
He was now Kamen Rider Vergil, Special Form.
“Oh this is just great,” muttered Dante. He knew enough about Kamen Rider powers to not think that the new form was just cosmetic.
Vergil dashed forward leaving a trail of lightning. He was on Dante in a moment and punched his brother in the chest plate. Sparks erupted from the impact point as Vergil unleashed a barrage of punches that made his arms nothing but blurs. All of the raindrops around them were obliterated, leaving a dry space in a rainstorm, he then kicked his Brother back.
Dante landed on the ground, panting.
“Why do you refuse to gain power?” demanded Vergil. “The power of our Father, Sparda?”
Dante chuckled a bit. “I just don’t like you, that's all. Why would I want to be more like you?”
A small bit of hurt flashed in Vergil’s visors.
Dante fired several bullets from the Rebellion Magnum at his Brother.
Vergil spun the Yamato Katana, catching the bullets, he lined them up on the ground and then hit them back at Dante with his sword.
Dante swung the Rebellion Magnum down, cutting the bullets in half. Then he punched the Trigger Ring into the back of magnum. FOUR! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! Red energy gathered around the barrel as Dante pulled the trigger, firing an axe blade construct at Vergil.
Only for it to pass through the other Kamen Rider, causing him to turn into water.
“Water?!” demanded Dante.
“Bingo,” replied Vergil from behind his Brother.
Dante spun around, just in time to get a spinning Rider Kick to the chest plate. Sparks flew from the impact point and lightning crackled over Dante’s body. He released an explosion as his transformation ended.
“Foolishness Dante,” spoke Vergil. “Flooshiness. Might controls everything and without strength, you cannot protect anything. Not even yourself.”
Dante’s eyes rolled up and he fell over, the fight had taken everything out of him.
MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN! YAMATO! NOW! Vergil grabbed the amulet from around Dante’s neck as his Brother fell backwards. He held the amulet up to his forehead and turned to walk awake, picking up the Rebellion Blade as he did so.
Dante started to get back up, his powers were already healing him.
Vergil spun around and drove the Rebellion Blade through his Brother’s chest, pinning him to the ground in a fountain of blood, haling his recovery as his powers put everything into keeping him alive.
“Do you finally have it?” asked Arkham from behind Vergil.
“Yes,” replied Vergil. “Now the spell that Sparda and Eva cast will be broken!” he walked past Arkham.
The man looked down at Dante, raising his book to his chest before turning to follow Vergil.
The Rebellion Blade’s eyes flashed as it shot out of Dante’s chest hiding him in a pillar of rainwater.
Dante charged out of the pillar.
Vergil spun around, using the Yamato Katana to block Dante’s fist, cutting into the unprotected limb. “I see that a Rider inside you has awakened as well. But I have much more experience and control.”
Dante snarled as he pulled his hand out of the sword, grabbed it and threw Vergil through the air.
Vergil landed next to Arkham, he was about to charge at the completely ferial Dante.
“Wait!” shouted Arkham.
Vergil stopped.
“We should leave,” suggested Arkham.
Vergil gave the man an odd look.
“For the moment we have all that we need,” explained Arkham.
Dante staggered toward them.
Vergil looked between Arkham and Dante before jumping over the edge of the tower.
Arkham gazed at Dante before following Vergil.
Dante roared into the air as a magic circle appeared, transforming him into a new form for several seconds.
Then the transformation released itself as Dante fell to the floor, facedown, knocked out.
“VERGIL!” roared a voice.
At that moment Vergil was sent flying back to the top of the tower.
A yellow streak followed him and landed on the top of the tower, revealing itself to be Kamen Rider Symbol.
And boy, was she angry.
Vergil rolled back to his boots and looked at his sister in shock. “Sunset?” he asked in shock. Then he visors hardened. “No, my sister is dead, you must be an imposter!” he drew the Yamato Katana. “Prepare to die a painful death for your trespass.”
Kamen Riders Weapon, Grimm, Mega and X landed beside their Mistress.
“She would have never worked with Gem Maidens either!” shouted Vergil in rage. He could tell what they were by the aura coming off them.
“This coming from the guy that used to run around with underpants on his head, acting out old movies?!” snarked Symbol.
“You swore that you’d never tell anyone about that!” roared Vergil before he realised what he had just said. “It really is you, isn’t it?”
“Yep,” replied Symbol.
Vergil put the Yamato Katana away. “How?”
“That black hole was a fancy dimension transport. I was sent to another dimension for a day, but outside that dimension, ten years had gone past,” explained Symbol.
“And the Gem Maidens?” asked Vergil.
“Were Kamen Riders that escaped from the Gem Maiden Hive Mind. They were recaptured and sent to torture Mom in that dimension,” explained Symbol.
“MOTHER?!” demanded Vergil, cutting his Sister off.
“Wiseman took her mind and placed it into a construct. They-,” she nodded to Weapon and Grimm. “-were sent to torture her. While they- she pointed to Mega and X. “Were sent to stop us from getting out.”
“Then why are they with you?” asked Vergil in confusion. “They should have been sent back to their homeworlds or a hub world when you defeated them!”
“For some nut-job reason they decided to bind themselves to me,” growled Symbol.
“Ah,” replied Vergil.
“Vergil, why?” she pointed to Dante.
“I’m sorry, but I am too far! I cannot stop now. It is for the good of the family,” stated Vergil. “Sunset, I need your amulet.”
“Never!” snapped Symbol. “How can killing a member of your family be good for your family?!” she demanded.
“Your wasting time!” Vergil ran at his sister, slashing down at her.
She blocked the attack with Swift Agni and Swift Rudra. “So, the time for talk is over?”
“You got that right!” grunted Vergil.
“Good!” Symbol kicked her Brother away.
Vergil skidded back and then ran toward his sister. Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever, she kicked Vergil back as she scanned her left glove over her Driver’s Hand Author and then jumped over a slash as she aligned Swift Rudra with her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH GO! SWIFT! C RANK SPELL! Blue wind built up around the barrel before she fired several bouts of wind at her Brother.
Vergil spun the Yamato Katana, but several bolts were able to break through his guard, hitting him across the arms and knees. “Stubborn as ever!” muttered Vergil as he pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned the Spiral Sword Ring across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. SPIRAL SWORDS! NOW! A ring of swords with their tips pointing outward appeared around Vergil. The swords deflected the rest of the wind blasts as Vergil at Symbol.
His sister knocked a slash from the Yamato Katana to the side with Swift Agni and slashed her Brother with Swift Rudra. Vergil was fast enough to grab her arm and force it to the side as he kicked her back. Then he pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned a new Ring over the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. It was silver with a black stone set into it, a silver up arrow was engraved into the stone. UPPER SLASH! NOW! Suddenly, Vergil slashed upward, sending his sister shooting into the air with a glowing cut through her body.
“Did you forget, Vergil?” grunted Symbol.
“What?” demanded Vergil.
“Unlike Dante, I’m not fighting you alone!” shouted Symbol.
L-I-G-H-T-N-I-N-G H-A-M-M-E-R! Vergil spun around, just in time to get a hammer across the faceplate. His helmet snapped to the side and he staggered back several steps. L-I-G-H-T D-U-S-T C-H-A-R-G-E! He was forced to use the Yamato Katana to deflect several bolts of light.
Weapon drew a new Whistle, it was coloured red with a bronze sword and shield for a head. Weapon removed the Dust Knuckle from the left side of the Weapon Driver. She removed the current Whistle and switched it with the new Whistle. M-I-L-O A-N-D A-K-O-U-O! She pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into her right palm. R-E-A-D-Y! Then she slotted the Aura Knuckle back into the Weapon Driver. F-I-S-T O-N! The holographic suit of armour flew out of the Weapon Driver, knocked Vergil back and slammed into her. The hammer and the grenade on her chest armour transformed into a spear and a circle-shaped shield, they were coloured red and bronze respectively.
Weapon pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into the left side of the Weapon Driver. S[b]-P-E-A-R! She held out her right glove as a red spear appeared in her glove. L-I-G-H-T D-U-S-T C-H-A-R-G-E! She pulled back the Galatorial Spear and thrust it forward, firing a beam of yellow energy that shot through the air toward Vergil.
“Die!” he slotted the Crosscut Ring onto his right glove, pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. CROSSCUT! NOW! He slashed five times, black lines spread through the beam as it broke into pieces.
“Not bad,” Vergil slid a new Ring onto his right glove. It was silver with a black gem in the centre of it, engraved into the gem was a silver down arrow. Vergil dashed forward and slashed at Weapon three times as he hit his Driver’s right Shift Lever. Weapon blocked all of Vergil’s attack as he scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. HELM BREAKER! Vergil jumped into the air, making a spear thrust miss and he came shooting down, getting ready to do an overhead slash.
Weapon saw this and pressed the Dust Knuckle into the Weapon Driver twice. S-H-I-E-L-D! There was a sound of mechanical shifting as the spear transformed into a bronze circle-shaped shield. L-I-G-H-T D-U-S-T P-O-W-E-R-E-D! Then she summoned a powerful barrier of light that was supposed to stop Vergil’s attack.
Keyword: Supposed.
The Yamato Katana broke through the shield with ease, then it slashed the Greek Shield in half. Vergil’s attack continued down and cut a vertical gash through Kamen Rider Weapon. She staggered back as the power built up in the gash before exploding.
Janice and Pyrrha tumbled out of the attack, both of them were in great pain. They tried to get up but failed.
“Now to finish this,” stated Vergil as he pressed down on his Driver’s left Shift Lever and scanned the Yamato Ring across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. YES! YAMATO FINISH STRIKE! UNDERSTAND?! Blue energy was released from the crystals on Vergil’s body before he jumped into the air with a flying kick aimed at Janice and Pyrrha.
MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN! ARROW SNIPER TURBO PLEASE! Only for a bolt of green magical energy to slam into him. Vergil was knocked off course, he flipped through the air and landed on the ground.
Vergil got up and spun around, glaring at Symbol. The logo in the upper right of her chest plate was now the arrow logo. The logo on the upper left side of her chest armour was the blue sniper logo. Finally, the image at the bottom of her chest plate was the black turbo logo. Her left shoulder pauldron and forearm guard had transformed into their Arrow forms, while her other shoulder pauldron and forearm guard had turned into their Sniper forms. Her shins had transformed into the Zoomer Grieves and she held a new weapon. It was a green crossbow with a dark blue gun barrel instead of an arrow, on either side of it was a pair of turbines.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol Swift Firestorm Style, Arrow Sniper Turbo Substyle. The weapon she was armed with was the Charged Crossbow.
“I won’t let you kill them!” shouted Symbol.
“You know that our powers will free them, so why did you stop me?!” demanded Vergil.
“It only works once per person! I freed them from the Gem Maiden Hive Mind and they bound themselves to me!” retorted Symbol. “You would have killed them!”
“Oh, I didn’t think about that,” replied Vergil.
“You could remove the last two words and that statement would have been a lot more accurate!” pointed out Symbol.
“You will pay for that!” shouted Vergil.
“Let’s go!” shouted Symbol.
Vergil switched the Helm Breaker Ring for the Blistering Sword Ring and pressed down on his Driver’s right Shift Lever. With lightning-fast reflexes he deflected a pair of energy bolts from the Charged Crossbow and scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. BLISTERING SWORDS! Vergil made eight swords of blue energy appeared around him. He pointed at Symbol and so did the swords.
“Gulp!” gulped Symbol.
“Fire!” ordered Vergil as the swords shot forward.
Symbol hit the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once and scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author as the Summon Swords snaked through the air. MAGIC TOUCHIE GO ARROW MAGIC PLEASE! Symbol took aim and fired eight arrows of green energy from the Charged Crossbow, shattering all eight of the arrows with a ninth bolt slamming into Vergil’s shoulder pauldron.
Vergil grunted in pain as sparks came from his shoulder pauldron.
Seeing that his guard was open, Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice and scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author again. MAGIC TOUCHIE GO! SNIPER MAGIC PLEASE! She took aim with the Charged Crossbow as Vergil started to recover. A bolt of blue energy shot out of the weapon and slammed into Vergil, driving him back up against a pillar. Sparks came from his body as the attack ended.
“I’ll get you for that!” snarled out Vergil.
“Talk is cheap!” shot back Symbol.
“Agreed!” roared Vergil as he jumped into the air. He switched the Blistering Sword Ring for a new Ring. It was silver with a light blue gem embedded into it, the gem had a silver sword coming from a rip cut into it. Vergil pressed his Driver’s right Hand Author and scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. AERIAL FLUSH! He slashed through the air, leaving a glowing blue trail, out of which shot a blade of blue magical energy, it slammed into Symbol’s chest plate and sparks exploded from the impact, she was sent flying through the air and crashed into a pillar.
“You have done a better job than Dante did, Sister,” Vergil gave what seemed like a compliment to his downed sibling.
N-E-V-E-R-M-O-R-E B-I-T-I-N-G! Suddenly, several bolts of black energy shot through the air and slammed into Vergil’s backplate.
“Guh!” he staggered forward before spinning around to see who had dared to attack him.
A-U-R-A A-M-P-L-I-F-I-C-A-T-I-O-N A-T-T-A-C-K! Just in time to get a golden arrow to the faceplate. Vergil gave a shout of pain as he staggered back several paces.
Grimm removed the Aura Knuckle from the right side of the Grimm Driver. She switched the Nevermore Whistle for a new Whistle. It was black and the head was in the shape of a white griffon. She slotted it into the Grimm Driver. G-R-I-F-F-O-N! Then she slammed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into her left palm. R-E-A-D-Y! Grimm slotted the Aura Knuckle back into the Grimm Driver. F-I-S-T O-N! The holographic suit of armour appeared in front of her, Vergil was forced back by it, then the suit slammed into Grimm. The Nevermore on her chest plate was replaced by a black griffon with white bone armour and red tribal markings.
She ducked under a slash from Vergil and kicked him in the shin, as his legs buckled Vergil was kicked back into the air. Grimm smashed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into the right side of the Grimm Driver. G-R-I-F-F-O-N B-I-T-I-N-G! She held out her right glove as a black bow appeared. It was made of pitch-black metal and looked like a pair of Griffon Wings stuck together. The bow had a black arrow, with white feathers, inside it, the head of the arrow looked like the head of a Griffon.
This is the Wing Bow.
Grimm pulled back on the arrow and the Griffon mouth opened, revealing dark energy collecting inside it. She let go and fired a black arrow construct that shot through the air.
“Do you really think that will work?” Vergil slashed at the arrow.
Only for it to grow wings and fly around the Yamato Katana, striking him in the chest plate.
“WHAT THE-?!” shouted Vergil in shock.
“Huh, I was wondering when she’d get a weapon that had special powers,” muttered Symbol as she started to recover.
A-U-R-A A-M-P-L-I-F-I-C-A-T-I-O-N A-T-T-A-C-K! Then three arrows swarmed around Vergil, attacking him from all angles at once. Each time he knocked one away, it would curve back while the other two got a clean shot in.
“Enough!” Vergil slid a new Ring onto his right middle finger. It was silver with a light blue gem in the centre of it, the gem had a silver circle cut into it. He pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned the Ring across his Driver’s Hand Author. JUDGMENT CUT! NOW! Blue energy built up around the Yamato Katana as Vergil darted forward. Weapon had no time to react as Vergil darted past her. Suddenly, she was covered in five overlapping spheres of blue energy, sword slashes appeared out of nowhere and carved into her constantly, keeping her trapped in one place for ten seconds.
Then she exploded, from the explosion, Ling and Nora were sent flying out, they both slammed into the ground, completely knocked out.
“Alright! That's it!” shouted Symbol as she switched the Swift Ring for the Advance Ring.
“You’re breaking out the Advance Style now?” asked Vergil as he switched the Yamato Ring for the Gravity Ring.
“Yep!” replied Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever and scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO ADVANCE YOUR CLASS! ADVANCE PLEASE! The Advance magic circle appeared in front of her and moved back through her, transforming Symbol into the Advance Style. “COME! ADVANCE TIMER!” roared Symbol.
TO BATTLE! MY MISTRESS! Shouted the Crow Bit Phantom as he came shooting out of the air, he slammed into Symbol’s right forearm guard and transformed into the Advance Timer.
ADVANCE TIME! Symbol turned the dial. SET UP! “It’s showtime!” she hit the thumb inwards. START! The Advance Timer started ticking.
“I shall respond in kind!” shouted Vergil as he pressed down on the Sorcerer Driver’s left Shift Lever before scanning the Gravity Ring across his Driver’s Hand Author. GRAVITY TRIGGER! NOW! Vergil held his left glove down to the ground as the Gravity Trigger magic circle appeared under his boots and rose up through him, transforming Vergil into his Upgraded Form, the Gravity Trigger Style.
Symbol pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice as she darted forward. “Ha!” she punched Vergil, only for him to block with the Yamato Katana as she scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE C TIER SPELL! Her left fist was covered in yellow magical energy as the emitters on her forearm guards hummed.
Vergil glanced down at them.
Just in time to get a charged fist to the faceplate. He went flying back, flipped through the air and landed on the ground. “Die!” he slid the Rapid Slash Ring onto his right glove, pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever and ran toward his Sister after scanning the Ring across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. RAPID SLASH! NOW! The Yamato Katana was covered in light blue light and orange energy as Vergil dashed forward while spinning.
Symbol knew that she would not be able to move or defend in time, instincts kicked in and she hit the Advance Timer’s thumb inward. BREAKER ADVANCE! The Advance Breaker magic circle appeared in front of her and Breaker jumped out of it, hitting Vergil with a turning kick to the side.
Vergil grunted as he slid away and then charged at Breaker, drawing the Yamato Katana.
Breaker quickly hit her Driver’s left Shift Lever three times before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER A TIER SPELL! She covered her left fist in red energy and punched the ground, sending up a cloud of dust and smoke.
“That is not going to work!” Vergil swung the Yamato Katana, dispelling the cloud. Only to find no one there! “WHAT?!” shouted Vergil in shock.
TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE A TIER SPELL! That came from behind Vergil. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER C TIER SPELL! He spun around, just in time to be sent flying by two charged fists to the chest plate.
Vergil shot through the air and grunted as he landed on the ground. He switched the Rapid Slash Ring for the Blistering Sword Ring and pressed down on his Driver’s right Shift Lever.
“Not a chance!” shouted Symbol as she hit the Advance Timer’s thumb inward. BLOCKER ADVANCE! The Blocker magic circle appeared and Blocker jumped out of it.
Vergil scanned his right glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. BLISTERING SWORDS! NOW! Ten swords of blue-orange energy appeared on either side of Vergil. “Die!” ordered the Kamen Rider as the swords shot forward, faster than the eye could see.
Blocker hit her Driver’s left Shift Lever once. The swords got closer as she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLOCKER C TIER SPELL! She threw up her hands as the emitters summoned a square-shaped shield of blue energy, blocking the swords. The shield exploded and the blast wave shot at Vergil.
“She turned my own attack against me?!” shouted Vergil as he hit the Sorcerer Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author. TRICK UP! NOW! Vergil teleported up in a blur of blue and orange.
“Just what I was waiting for,” smirked Symbol as she pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inwards, twice. BOUNDER ADVANCE! BLASTER ADVANCE! The Blaster magic circle appeared in front of her and Blaster stepped out.
She pressed down on her Driver’s left Shift Lever three times before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLASTER A TIER SPELL! The emitters in her shin guards glow as she punched forward, firing a large beam of purple magical energy at Vergil.
KILLER BEE! NOW! “Die!” only for the Kamen Rider to jump into the air and do a flying kick. His boot was covered in red and orange energy as he shot toward Blaster.
TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BOUNDER B TIER SPELL! All of a sudden, the Bounder magic circle appeared next to Vergil, Bounder jumped out of it and covered her right boot in green energy, she slammed into Vergil’s leg and sent him off course.
ADVANCE WEAPON TIME!
“Argh!” shouted Vergil as he landed on the ground. He looked up as the situation got even worse for him.
Symbol pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inward as the second clock hand reached the red section again. BREAKER ARTEMIS! The Breaker magic circle appeared next to Breaker.
She reached into it and pulled out the Breaker Artemis before snapping the chamber closed. BREAKER MATCH STRIKE! Red energy gathered around the Breaker Artemis and shot forward. Vergil swung the Yamato Katana, only for the projectile to turn into orange chains that wrapped around him.
“Ok, since this isn’t working!” Vergil broke the chains and switched the Gravity Ring for the Thunder Ring. He hit his Driver’s left Shift Lever and scanned his left glove across the Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. THUNDER TRIGGER! NOW! Vergil held his left glove into the air as the Thunder Trigger magic circle appeared above his helmet and fell through him.
BLOCKER ARTEMIS! “That was a big mistake, Vergil!” Symbol pointed out.
BOUNDER ARTEMIS! “How so?” asked Vergil as his Doppelganger appeared.
BLASTER ARTEMIS! “I know that Style is weaker than the Gravity Trigger Style!” Symbol shouted. “The only advantage that you have is your Doppelganger, even then, you’re outnumbered two point five too one!” ADVANCE ARTEMIS! “Whereas we get stronger each second!”
ADVANCE PART TIME! “That is a good point, but what if I did this!” suddenly, Vergil had not one, not two, not three, but four Doppelgangers!
“Since when could you do that?!” demanded Symbol as one of the Doppelganger defeated Mega and X in seconds.
“A lot has changed in ten years, Sister!” shouted Vergil as he and his Doppelgangers raced forward.
Symbol gulped and hit The Advance Timer’s thumb inward once. ANGI AND RUDRA CLAWS! “YES!” shouted Symbol in joy.
An energy copy of the Angi and Rudra Phantom appeared behind Breaker, he wrapped his arms around her and was pulled into her body. There was a flash of red and blue light when it cleared, she now bore a silver rectangle on the back of each wrist with three claws coming out of them. The claws were coloured both red and blue with three jagged edges on the back of each of them.
Breaker stepped forward as one of the Doppelgangers slid the Spiral Sword Ring onto his right middle finger. He ran toward Breaker and slashed with his Yamato Katana. She blocked it with one Agni-Rudra Claw and slashed him with the other claw as he pressed his Driver’s right Shift Lever. The Doppelganger jumped back and scanned his right glove across his Sorcerer Driver’s Hand Author. SPIRAL SWORDS! NOW! He was surrounded by three rings of light blue energy swords that were crackling with green lightning. They slashed and shocked Breaker as she was unable to pull away in time.
ERROR!
She growled and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. The Doppelganger charged as she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER C TIER SPELL! Her left Agni-Rudra Claw was covered in wind while the right surged with fire. She roared and swung them both around, cutting through the swords, the wind dispelled the lightning as she raked the claws over the Doppelganger several times.
The Doppelganger switched the Spiral Swords Ring for the Summon Sword Ring, he pressed down on his Driver’s right Shift Lever as Breaker kicked him away. Then he scanned his right glove across his Driver’s Hand Author as Breaker charged. SUMMON SWORD! NOW! A blue energy sword that was covered in green lightning appeared at shot at Breaker from behind. She spun around and shattered it with one swipe, but more started appearing around her.
ERROR!
One of the swords hit Breaker, so she pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice, taking a sword across the backplate in the process. Then she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER B TIER SPELL! She pulled back the Agni-Rudra Claws and drove them into the ground. Cracks of fire spread through it as wind gathered around her before both elements exploded outwards, destroying all of the swords and forcing the Doppelganger to stop summoning them as he had to move.
CERBERUS MOUTH!
Then Breaker performed a dropkick on the Doppelganger as she hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever three times. Then she spin-kicked the Doppelganger away as she scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER A TIER SPELL! Breaker locked the Agni-Rudra Claws over her helmet and started to spin. Fire and wind shot out of her boots, propelling her like a rocket into the Doppelganger, smashing him into the ground as well as grinding sparks out of his body.
Breaker landed on the ground and hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE! ADVANCE BREAKER S TIER SPELL! THE BEST! Breaker slammed the Agni-Rudra claws into the ground, sending a surge of red energy into it. Tongues of flame came out of the ground and formed into a ball of fire. Breaker held both of the claws up as blue wind surged into the ball, making it balloon in size. Then she threw her claws forward, the orb smashed into the Doppelganger and exploded like a small sun. The Doppelganger's outline could be seen for a few seconds before he was erased by the sheer heat.
Suddenly, Symbol, Blocker and Bounder were thrown onto the ground near her, while Blaster slid back.
Vergil and two Doppelgangers approached.
Breaker noticed that, besides herself, only Blaster had been able to defeat a Doppelganger. Even then, the other Energy Clone looked a lot more beaten up then herself.
“I would suggest that you stop struggling, Sister,” spoke Vergil coldly. “And just give me your amulet!”
“Small problem with that Vergil,” Symbol held up the Advance Timer, showing that the third clock hand had reached the yellow segment. “You just ran out of time,” she pressed the thumb inward. ADVANCE COMBINATION TIME!
Vergil watched as his Sister and her clones were pulled into the air, their magic circles appeared behind them as the clones broke down into energy that fused with her. Transforming Symbol into her Fusion Form; Full Advance Style.
“Impressive,” noted Vergil.
“Not as impressive as this!” Symbol pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever three times, then she scanned left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! FULL ADVANCE B TIER SPELL! There was a flash of movement and all of Vergil’s Doppelgangers were destroyed. He could do nothing to defend himself as Symbol swiped the Agni-Rudra Claws across his chest armour. His gem armour started to crack as Vergil tried to switch Rings. The clawed Rider came in with one swing of her claws, striking Vergil hard as he was sent flying across the platform, his armour breaking apart as he reverted back into his human form.
Symbol appeared in front of him. “It’s over, Brother.”
“It is not over until I can no longer stand!” shouted Vergil. “Henshin!” while Symbol had been attacking him, he had managed to switch the Thunder Ring for the Special Ring. While she had been taking, he had pressed the Sorcerer Driver’s left Shift Lever. SPECIAL! NOW! Symbol was forced back as the Special magic circle appeared in front of her Brother and moved back through him.
“Since when could you do that?!” demanded Symbol.
“As I said, Sister, I have gained much power in the last ten years!” Vergil drew the Yamato Katana and it transformed into a silver Flute-Cane. It was about the same length as a spear and had a red spear tip at the end of it. This is the Yamato Cane.
“Well, I’m not giving up!” shouted Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once and scanned her left glove across the Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! FULL ADVANCE D TIER SPELL! She charged with her Agni Rudra Claws being covered in yellow magical energy.
“As I have come to expect from you,” replied Vergil as he pressed down on the Yamato Cane's first button. SONG OF FIRE! A burning red aura covered the weapon and seeped over Vergil. He dodged a double uppercut from his sister and slashed her across the middle as she landed back on the ground.
“Argh!” shouted Symbol as her armour vanished, reverting her to her human form; Sunset Shimmer Sparda. She fell to her knee, her eyes unseeing.
Vergil reached down and gently unclipped her amulet. “I am so, so, sorry,” he whispered to his Sister as he walked past her.
“Do you have it?” asked Arkham as he appeared beside Vergil.
“You knew my Sister was alive,” it was a statement, not a question.
“Yes,” replied Arkham after a moment.
“Then why did you not tell me this BEFORE I WAS KICKED BACK UP THE TOWER?!” demanded Vergil.
“I would not have wanted to spoil the surprise,” replied Arkaham.
“We will talk about this later!” snarled out Vergil.
MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN TO THE MAX: RISING UP: SYMBOL RISING!
Suddenly, Vergil was forced to turn around and block a fist from Sunset with the Yamato Katana. “Do you not know how to give up?!” he demanded.
Sunset replied by slamming her other fist into his chest, driving him back.
“Oh, wait, I forgot who I was talking to!” Vergil turned around.
“You are not going to fight her?” asked Arkham.
“We have all that we need,” replied Vergil. Echoing Arkham’s words from earlier.
With that he jumped off the tower, leaving his two siblings alone.
