A month has passed since everything happened and the Pegasus colt was still in the Hospital, his friends were grounded after their parents and big sisters found out why they were in Diamond Dog territory.
Fluttershy was able to pay the bills cuz after Harry killed Fido, she took a few gems from the cart.
Spike has been rarely eating and have been rarely talking since what happened, he was sitting up in his Hospital bed looking down.
He was thinking about his dream of becoming the greatest Wonderbolt in history, and the greatest stunt flyer too.
"Fourty percent chance", he mumbled to himself, then his father's words echoed though his head.
"Don't give up", he started to smile a little bit, then Nurse Red Heart knocked on the door before walking in.
"Spike your family is here to see you", she said letting Fluttershy, Soarin, Zephyr and Spitfire in, but was confused as to why his mom had her saddle bag on.
His mother walked up to the bed, "How are you feeling sweetie", she asked.
"Better mom", then he noticed his aunts stomach was a little bit bigger, like she might give birth any day now.
"Listen, I know you're hurting because of your chances of becoming a Wonderbolt is shortened, but mark my words son you will fly", his father told him.
"Thanks dad, and once I do I'll be able to visit Cloudsdale, grandma's and grandpa's place, and even the Wonderbolt headquarters and watch you practice without asking for a lift", he smiled along with the rest of the family.
"Oh uh I found something in your bedroom", that caused the two stallions and colt to freak out.
"M-Mom I swear, it was uncle Zephyr that gave me it, I didn't want it", that caused the mares to turn to their fiance and brother.
"So you bought him the Power Ponies comic books", that confused him, then he nodded.
"Yeah, I did", he smiled glad that she didn't find Spikes Playpony magazine.
"You're a wonderful uncle Zephyr", his soon to be wife nuzzled him giving him a kiss, his sister placed the comics where it can be at reaching distance, yet won't be in her son's way.
Then all of a sudden Spitfire felt pain in her stomach, "You ok auntie", the colt asked concerned as the family turned to her, the mare realised that today is the day she gives birth.
"(Groan), Z-Zephyr, I think the babys coming", she sat down placing her hooves on her large stomach, then she started breathing heavely.
Soarin ran out the room calling, "We need a nurse, my sisters going into labor", he called as a freaking out Zephyr stood with his fiancee.
Then a few seconds later a couple of nurses came in, Fluttershy was hoping she won't give birth in front of Spike since he's too young to witness something like.
Then one of the nurses ran out to get a room ready for labor, after what felt like hours it was ready and they helped the panting Pegasus mare to the room with her fiance by her side.
"Fluttershy, you'll get your parents and I'll get mine", Soarin told his girlfriend as she nodded in understanding.
"We'll be back ok", she told her son kissing his head before her and her boyfriend rushed out the room.
He chuckled to himself smiling more when they were gone, "I'm gonna be a cousin any minute now, next up me being a big brother".
A half hour later they came back with the four elderly Pegasi's along with the rest of the Main 6, they can hear Spitfires screams of agony from giving birth.
"Aaaah shit your mom and my mom was right about giving birth, it is the most painful thing a mare can ever experience", they can hear her pushing again and Zephyr encouraging her.
"Oh my, is that how painful it is giving birth", Fluttershy said frowning and a little scared of having another child one day.
The rest of the young mares were surprised at how painful child birth can be by listening to one of their friends giving birth.
They were glad they ain't ready to settle down and start of family of their own just yet.
After awhile in the room, a crying baby was being given to a tired Spitfire, she smiled down at her holder her in her hooves seeing that she had her fathers mane and tail, and her mother's coat.
"T-There she is, my baby girl", the stallion said smiling staring at his daughter, then he walked up to the door and opened it.
"Mom, dad, Fluttershy and Soarin, come meet your grandaughter and niece", they got up and walked in the room.
They gasped when they saw the baby, then after awhile she feel asleep nuzzled up to her mother's neck, "She's beautiful", Posey whispered before wriping her tears, she has a grandaughter now.
"Yup, just like her mother", her son whispered back giving his fiancee a kiss making her smile.
"I Can't believe I have a niece, wait till Spike sees her", Fluttershy whispered trying not to wake her up.
"What her name?"
"Shyla, Shyla Breeze after grandma", Zephyr whispered as Spitfire gently kissing her baby's head.
"D-Do you mind if I take her and show Spike", Spitfire nodded, then the shy mare gently took the baby and walked out the room with a nurse following her.
Minutes later she walked in her son's Hospital room, he was gonna ask if that's the baby, but she did a shusing manner with her wing letting him know she's asleep.
"Meet your cousin sweetie, Shyla Breeze", he smiled at the baby.
"Hey there, I'm your cousin Spike", he whispered, after awhile the shy Pegasus mare walked out of the room as her boyfriends parents walked in to check on their grandson.
"Hi grandma, grandpa", he greeted.
The elderly mare walked up to him, "How are you feeling dear?"
"I'm doing better", they nodded glad that he is, then the mare hugged her grandson frowning.
"The night we were looking for you, I was scared that we might never see you again, I was worried l would never see my wonderful grandson again", she started nuzzling his cheek.
He was glad that Scootaloo is not around, he smiled and nuzzled her back, "When I'm able to fly, I promise to visit you and grandpa", she let him go kissing his cheek.
Hours later Fluttershy and Soarin were home as they were feeding the animals, Suddenly Celestia and Luna came up to them.
They saw them and became shocked bowing, "Princess Celestia, Princess Luna...it's an honor to have you here".
They smiled waving it off, "We came to talk to you Fluttershy".
That confused the Pegasus couple, "About what?"
"You see, I wanted to know why they captured your son and his friends, so I send two guards to the Diamond Dog territory and they found a gruesome site of blood stained walls with guts everywhere".
"They told us that they never seen anything so brutal, they tried talking to the rest of the Diamond Dogs, but they looked like they were traumatized and told them a yellow pony with a bear did it", Luna explained.
"That's why we came to ask if you have anything to do with it", Celestia asked causing the shy pony to sigh and nod.
"I do, they assaulted my only son and all I did was showed them that no pony hurts him without suffering the consequences", she explained.
They nodded in understanding, "We understand what you did, and you ain't in trouble for it", they told her.
She smiled, "What would you do Princess, if Spike was your son and somecreature captured him and beat him to the point where has to get surgery".
"If he was my son, then they would feel the wrath of a thousand suns burning them for assaulting the Prince", her sister nodded.
"If little Spike was my little boy and I would make sure they would have the most horrifying dream ever for laying there claws on him".
After awhile of talking, "You don't mind if me and Luna visit him?"
They shock their heads no, "Go ahead", they thanked the Pegasus couple and started heading towards the Hospital.
When they were out of site, "So that was blood I've seen on Harrys fur", his girlfriend nodded.
"I'm like a Eagle Soarin, beautiful to look at...but mess with my baby and I'll use my razor sharp talons to rip your freaken eyes out", he got a winger from that grinning.
"That is so hot, and I'm glad you did what you did", he gave her a kiss as she giggled.
"Nopony messed with our son and gets away with it", she said as he nodded.
Then she nuzzled her body against his, "How about tonight..we have some fun", he grinned again and nodded giving her another kiss.
"I love you Soarin".
"Love you too Fluttershy".
