(Writers Notes: ok this is my first story, bare in mind there will be a lot of spelling mistakes and things like that, please message me personally on how i can improve ill be updating almost as soon as i can, and message me if you wanna volunteer for proof reading)
"Ok twilight have you got the notes?"
"Yes Princess Celestia, Thank you again for helping me with my reports"
"anything for you my loyal student, and remember what i have taught you about reports"
"yes i will, *gasps* oh no im gonna be late for the train back to ponyville, im sorry i have to leave immediatly"
"of course you do twilight, i hope to hear another IMPROVED friendship report from you soon"
twilight rushed out the door of the castle, and quickly ran to the canterlot train station making sure not to let anything fall out of her bags. she was going to be late, and spike would of been horribly angry at her. she was always over booking her schedule, and always forgetting about the trips inbetween.
Spike was panicking. twilight was going to miss the train, he knew it, she had been so stressed lately, and he couldnt do anything to help, she was biting off more hay than she could chew and it was going to catch up with her. last week it got severly out of hoof when she had to give a speech for the primary school and had to meet rainbow dash to time her new trick. long story short, rainbow dash was not happy,
spike saw twilight running over the horizon,
the conductor shouted "all aboard!!"
the train gained pace, and twilight was running as fast as she could, twilight knew she wasnt going to make it,
she worked her legs harder and harder she was almost going the same speed as the train, she ran even faster and the made a leap, and just managed to get on the train,
as she stood up the conductor gave her a dirty look and asked for a ticket, she sighed in relief as spike handed him the train ticket they had bought the night before.
they made their way to their seats and sat down, spike sat there, still unhappy from what had just transpired, while twilight, was gasping for air,
spike had to say something, it couldnt keep going on like this.
"i cant believe you, you almost missed the train, you know how hard it is to get tickets with nightmare moon coming up and everyone wanting to get to ponyville"
"im sorry spike, i lost track of time, it wont happen again i promise"
twilight sat there remorsefully the entire trip,
spike would never say it but she could be a real sook sometimes

"i said i was sorry spike, whats the big deal?" twilight said as she closed the door
"because, if you had miss the train you would of had to wait another day and missed out on your studies, which you are already behind in"
"it doesnt matter, we are home, lets just go to bed and forget about this whole being late mess"
"fine but no over sleeping tomorrow, you have tests to run in the morning and lunch with rarity"
twilight gracefully put down her things, lifted up the doona and crawled in to bed, the trip had made her wary and she couldnt wait to hop in bed, it was one of the best things in the world to her, except for her studying, but recently she just hadnt had the time to do,
"twilight... twilight wake up! her eyes adjusted to the darkness around her, all her friends standing around her with demented faces, she tried to scream but they were already making an effort to hold her down, twilight was trying to kick and scream but nothing would happen,
they took control of her hoofs one by one and then pinkie jumped on top of her,
twilight gazed at the once cute face,
one eye was dangling out, like a yoyo, cuts and scars that would make a filly faint from the sight of them, her mouth was bleading green pus, her neck had a chunk of skin missing from which a spider crawled out of and went into her demented ears, her main was ragged and unkept, the color was a sickly looking brown,
twilight wondered how she knew it was pinkie, she didnt know how but she knew,
twilight struggled immensely, as hard as it was, she tried to do what she could but everyone around her was to strong, then princess celestia came in,
she looked in awe as the graceful princess laughed and commended her friends on their efforts then left, then her friends started eating and tearing chunks of skin from her,
"twilight!!" spike yelled as loud as he could,
twilight screamed in horror and tendils coming from her horn shot holes in everything, just missing spike by mere centimetres,
twilight scrambled over near the corner in a ball, while spike came over and comforted her,
spike came over shaking and said with a trembling voice "in the name of celestia, what were you dreaming about?"
twilight explained what had happened in her dream over breakfast, spike sat there, thinking "wow"
"thats all you have to say spike? wow?" twilight replied
"well thats the most detailed and scary dream ive ever heard of"
"anyway ill need to start preparing as soon as i can for this experiment, so after breakfast, we will need to go and get the ingredients from the market,
twilight finished the rest of her breakfast pondering all the details of the dream, was it a sign? a premonition? or was it just the nightmares you have? tqilight didnt have time to wonder now, she had a busy day ahead of her and she couldnt let this eat away at her thoughts, she was far too behind to let some silly dream, ruin her studies,
spike on the other hand could get it off his mind, he knew the side affects of stress were bad but could they be causing this? he was more worried about her than he had ever been before
"ok spike are you ready?"
"yes twilight, i have been for the last hour"
"well sorry but i couldnt go out with my mane looking like that, rarity would kill me"
"well lets go, did you get the checklist?"
"yes"
"ok then, lets go"
