“Use dragon pulse.” Gible send out a pulse towards Swellow.

James was ready. “Doge it.” Swellow managed to with ease to avoid the attack thanks to it speed.

“Dame it.” Luna cursed to herself.

It’s has been three days since Lumi had lost her battle against Winona and Luna had done one thing since then, training with her Pokémon. James was true his word and was helping with her training, using the same Pokémon that Winona had. They were standing on opposite side of each other in an open field that they were using as a training ground.

Luna’s other Pokémon, Jolteon and Onix was standing on the side line at the moment, watching Luna train with Gible, even Marowak was there, watching. Luna thought it was a good idea to bond with him, Birch and Joshua wasn’t too happy about it, they wanted to study Marowak more. James Altaria and Pelipper was also watching.

“Keep using dragon pulse.” Gible did that but Swellow was too fast for him to hit.

“I don’t want to do this but, quick attack.” Swellow started to fly towards Gible in an incredible speed.

“Move it Gible.” It was too late, Swellow was too fast and Gible was hit, he flew backwards. Luna ran over to him. “Gible.” She bent down. “Are you alright?” Gible was still kicking, Luna then looked at James and she was not happy. “What was that? I thought we were training.”

James rubbed his neck. “Sorry, I got a little carried away.”

“I understand that but that’s not excuse for what you did to Gible.”

Before she could do anything ells, Gible jump up and then its stomach started to glow. Luna had no idea what was happing, James did. “Wait, that’s…” his eyes widen. “Luna, get out of the way, NOW.” Luna wasn’t sure why but then Gible looked up an then it looked like something was coming out from his mouth, so Luna back away. Then Gible send out a ball of energy that flew up in the sky and when it reach a certain height, it explode and what looked like small comets of the attack feel down.

Luna just looked in awe of what was happening but that stopped when she saw the smaller one exploded on the ground, the rest of them started to land around them. She then grabbed Gible and hug him close to her body, protecting him. James Swellow was busy trying not to get hit by the attack.

When the attack was over, James looked over the battle field to see a loot of holes in the ground. “Wow, that was one powerful draco meteor.” He then ran over to where Luna was, she was currently protecting Gible . “Luna, are you ok?” Then the rest of her Pokémon came over to see if she was alright.

She looked up at him. “Yes, I think so. What was that?” She asked James while getting up.

“That was draco meteor, a very powerful one.” He looked over the damage. “I didn’t think your Gible knew that attack.” There was many holes in the ground.

“Me neither, it was a…” That was all she could say considering Gible started to glow which made Luna back away a little. He then started to grow, he started to grow a fin on his back, his arms started to grow. When he stopped growing, a brand new Pokémon stood there that Luna had not seen before. It looked like bigger version of Gible.

“Gabite.” Said the new Pokémon.

“Holly crap, your Gible just evolved into Gabite.”

Luna took out her Pokédex. “Gabite?”

Gabite the Cave Pokémon and the evolved form of Gible. As it digs to expand its nest, it habitually digs up gems that it then hoards in its nest.

Luna thought that it was great that her Gible evolved, but she didn’t understand why. “How? I haven’t used him that much, have I?” She asked James while scratching her head.

James crossed his arms. “Sometimes that dosen’t matter, don’t you remember Treecko? He evolved about two week after you got him.”

Luna remember that, it was her battle against Brawly and she was about to lose. Then Treecko evolved when she needed him the most. “So, what you are saying that Gible evolved because I protect him?” James gave her a thumbs up on that one, that made her smile.

Then Jolteon and Onix started to ask question, but they were interrupted by Gabite stomach started to make a noise. Gabite cheeks became red while held his stomach.

Luna placed her hand on her hips when she heard that. “Really Gabite?” He didn’t dear to looked at her at moment, he was to ashamed. “I guess your appetite is still there.” James couldn’t help but laugh of the whole thing.

After the training, they decided to eat by a lake that was not far from Celestic Town. Luna and James was sitting together on a log and their Pokémon was happily eating their Pokéfood, expect Marowak who was sitting a little farther from the rest. He was just looking at the lake.

“Why aren’t Marowak sitting by the other Pokémon?” Luna asked James while looking at Marowak.

“Probably not use to be other Pokémon or other humans, just give him time.”

Luna nodded she then look at James. “Hey, do you think that Ace have arrived at Petalburg yet?”

James thought for a moment. “He should have, it takes about two weeks when one have to walk. he has a bicycle so it should take him about a week. Let’s just he remember what I told him about that town.”

Luna knew what he meant, before she had her battle with Norman, the town wanted to challenge her and that was not something she wanted. She was just hopping that Ace was more lucky then her.

Meanwhile in Petalburg, a boy with purple hair was currently cycling for his life. He had a lot of people running after him and he had this to say.

“This town is crazy.”
