Full flew till she got closer but hesitated to land noticing it was getting later in the day.
"Should just keep going but screw it i got time. ,"
She landed just on the outskirts of the town noting it seemed sleepier than she remembered. She walked into the town looking around spotting a sheriff's building and got the feeling she would wake up there it appeared to be solid brick so no risk of burning it down. She had often woken up in there in her past stay simply because they were trying to contain Missing so she didn't really blame them. She walked into the sheriff's office. When she was spotted the sheriff jumped. looked her over then asked
"Would you happen to be texture? "
Full was genuinely surprised at this
"Yes, how did you know? "
"Well, an old myth about you has been passed down over the years. Telling of a pony with a dragon tail who was cursed to cause trouble. Which is why most of the town is stone buildings. " the sheriff replied and smiled at her.
"I made that big of an impression? I figured id be forgotten after all this time. "
Full had a genuine smile and thanked the sheriff before going back into the town and continuing to explore the town that looked nothing like she remembered. She encountered a few locals and had a nice chat and to her surprise none seemed bothered by her tail or occasional glint of her canines.
"Even after all these years appluseens are still pretty cool. " she said to herself as the stallion of the group spoke.
Another thought popped in her head
"How is it i know how long it's been my magic isn't that powerful" she noticed that the stallion stopped speaking and was looking at her
"So what do you think? ," he said
Full blinked a bit "sorry i had been lost in thought could you say it again? "
"Were having a rodeo tonight, and I asked if you'd like to come with us? Horseshoe will be there"
Full smiled "I would love to but you would likely be going with Missing if i come along. "
Full thought as she spoke "hopefully this rodeo would be enough to keep Missing from going nuts on the town. "
The stallion blinked a bit caught off guard by her reply "Missing? "
"Yeah, the more chaos prone half of me that mainly comes out when the moons up,"
The stallion took this in stride "we got enough experts with lassos could probably restrain you if you start something so should be fine. ,"
he lightly smiled and the mares with him nodded in confirmation.
Full felt a bit elated at this they didn't fear missing in fact they were confident they could contain her if needed.
"I'll be there. " full happily said and returned to looking around the town. As the sun started to go down, she made her way to where the rodeo would be and saw it was starting to fill up and the stallion she talked to was waiting outside with his posy. They all went in and got seated full got a bit nervous as the show began and the last beams of sunlight faded then poof.
"It's my turn" Missing started shouting when she noticed the rodeo. wasn't her usual enjoyment, but it was entertaining, she noticed a few ponies were at the ready to catch her and she shrugged and kept watching. After a while most everyone seemed to relax. And missing started chatting with a few ponies as it went on.
When it ended she peacefully left the stadium with the group she came in with still chatting and a simple grin on her face. It was an unusually calm night for Missing once everyone had gone to sleep she just roamed around a bit getting an idea of where she was and after a while of lonely wandering she sat and fell asleep for the first time for a long time not counting the time she was banished without being swapped out.
