episode 4: The Tribunal!

[Intro.]

High over the horizon, a long, serpentine-like dragon, Shenron, soars through skies. Upon his head were the likes of Gohan, Goten, and Trunks enjoying the ride. Moments later, a portal opens. Flying past the dragon, Vegeta, and Piccolo enters the portal first as the trio looks on in awe. Shenron lets out a roar as he follows the two through it. The scenery quickly changes from Earth to Equis.

Celestia was enjoying a cup of tea on her balcony with her sister Luna as Shenron exits the portal in the background. Fluttershy was busy tending to the animals in her sanctuary as Angel bunny frantically points to the dragon above. The yellow pegasus looks up and gasps at the sight. Over in Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack hauling in her product before a large gust of wind from Shenron's passing blows her hat off. The farm mare puts down her produce and gives chase. In Ponyville, Pinkie gasps as she hovers in the air while Shenron passes. A moment later, the party mare disappears, leaving behind an outline of smoke. At the carousel boutique, Rarity struggling on a new line featuring the combat Gi's Spike and Scootaloo wore before Shenron passes passing by her window. A look of inspiration hit the fashion mare as she quickly stretches something out before running outside. Rainbow Dash was resting on a cloud when she spotted Shenron in the skies. Looking at their destination, Rainbow shot off her perch with her signature sonic rain-boom. The trios of Saiyans leap off the great dragon while landing in front of the castle. There, Twilight is standing at the entrance, waving them over. The rest of the elements of harmony, Piccolo and Vegeta were there to greet them.

Elsewhere, Dragonlord Ember was walking through a hellish landscape. The silhouette of a massive dragon was reaching toward her. She closes her eyes only to open them again as Spike looks at her with concern. In a coliseum filled with cheering spectators, Scootaloo walks in with the E.A.T. belt around her waist. Her opponent was a man in a brown and white Gi that sported an afro. She shots her opponent a confident grin as the two charges one another. A second later, Scootaloo sends her rival out of bounds as two announcers - one blond human and Earth pony of similar features - declare her the winner. High above the castle of friendship, the Great Saiyaman floats above the structure as the sun rises. He smirks as he flies off into the rising sun.

The sunsets as the moon rising over a statue of Goku. Spike and Scootaloo stood there wearing somber expressions at the loss of their beloved mentor. However, the transparent image of Goku puts a reassuring hand on Scootaloo's and Spike's shoulders. They turn around in shock at his appearance. He smiles at his pupils before he fades away, with the two of them chasing after him. They don't get far as several figures cloaked in shadows appear before them. Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, and Goten land beside them as they all take combat stances. There was a staredown between the two factions before they collide in an explosion of light. Finally, the ponies and dragons stand next to the Z fighters in front of the School of Friendship. Goku lands between his wife while draping his arm over Gohan's shoulder. They both share wide grins that for their friends and family.

[School of Friendship - Guidance counselors office - Videl's P.O.V.]

"Why am I here again? I don't need any guidance right now," Seriously, I have more important things to take care of right now.

"You see, Videl. I've been watching you for some time now, and, to put it bluntly, you seem distracted as of late," Starlight said.

"Distracted?"

"You've been putting the majority of your focus on hunting down human criminals. So much so that you fell asleep during Professor Fluttershy's animal anatomy class,"

I felt my body stiffen up after hearing that. There was no shortage of teasing from Elisa this morning. "W-well, fighting crooks is a very physically demanding job! Besides, who doesn't know about animals?"

"I think you'll find that the animals from Equis are vastly different from animals on Earth," I shrugged at the thought. "But that's Fluttershy's expertise. Mine is helping all of the students in this school, human or otherwise,"

I was quiet for a moment as I brought this topic. "That Neighsay guy still wants to cause trouble?"

Starlight gave me a solemn nod. "Unfortunately, Chancellor Neighsay has never been one for feigning threats. There's going to be a tribunal that will affect everything involving humans. The culture, clothes, cuisine, art, music, technological advancements!"

I was catching on as a pit began to form in my stomach. "Geez, does the chancellor want to purge all of humanity or what!?"

"No, but ridding your species presence on Equis may be more his agenda. It's irritating to know that any pony would go to such length to preserve the purity of Equestria,"

"One of his quotes, I bet,"

"The princesses will be present, but it will only be representatives of various nations making a case,"

"Ok, so what's this has to do with me? Other than being banished to the wayside, never to return,"

"Not necessarily. We have friends in high places too. We can make a plea that humans have as much of a right on Equis and vice versa. You and Great Saiyaman just--"

Instantly, a frown came on my face. "Great Saiyaman? What's this about me and that goofball?"

"A big part of Chancellor Neighsay's argument is how detrimental human presence is on Equis. However, given the work both you been doing and the appearance of Great Saiyaman, human criminal activity is declining. We show these statistics and hear from both you and Great Saiyaman. That will drop the issue entirely,"

I sat there for a bit with my frown still on my face. Humans getting banned from this world means that I failed everyone. But, to stand alongside some clown playing dress-up? No way! "I'll go to this stupid tribunal. I'll even bring police reports of all my arrest, but don't lump that poser with me. The Great Saiyaman is no hero!"

Councilor Starlight looked shocked to hear that. "W-what? Why would you think that?"

"What kind of hero runs around in that ridiculous getup? Why hide his face from everyone?"

"Um, to protect his secret identity, like the comic books,"

"I don't see Headmare Twilight or the other professor slipping on spandex for their friendship missions or whatever,"

"Hehe, you'd be surprised. But please try to bear with Great Saiyaman. Underneath that helmet is a good person,"

I narrowed my eyes at that remark. Something about that phrasing sounded too familiar. "You seem to know a lot about Great Saiyaman, almost like you know him,"

"What. No! It's - uh - actions speak louder than words, you know. Oh! Look at the time. I have other students waiting. See you later!"

I was hoisted up in the councilors' magic and placed outside her office. I crossed my arms to my chest and started walking away. Along the way, I bumped into Gohan. "Gohan?"

"Uh, Videl? You need to see the guidance counselor?"

"It's more like she wanted to form me of upcoming events. I hardly need any guidance. I see you're back from another sick day. So how long do we have you for this time?" Gohan's absence has been growing more and more as of late.

"Y-Yeah, I don't know what it is - *cough* - I can't seem to shake these bouts of sickness. Maybe it's the air on this planet, am I right?"

I narrowed my eyes on him. It always feels like Gohan hiding something from us. "You know, a lot of my conversation with Councilor Starlight was about that Neighsay character,"

"Ah, him again. It must've been about that upcoming tribunal,"

"I didn't know you knew about it. What with you gone so much nowadays,"

"Pretty much everyone knows at this point. Chancellor Neighsay isn't subtle about his intentions," He folds his arm as he takes a thoughtful expression. "I hope you and the Great Saiyaman can make a good case for us,"

Gohan flinches as I took an aggressive step towards him. "And how do you know the Great Saiyaman will be there?"

"Oh, uh, Scootaloo told me. You know, my mare friends are junior councilors and all, hehe..."

"Nothing about that Great Saiyaman character makes sense. In fact, how did the school factuality even get in contact with him in the first place!? Are they involved?"

"The school? No way. They're too busy teaching the students,"

I shot Gohan the look my mom used to give my dad. "Expect that six of the teachers in this school are national heroes. One of them is a princess - a person that is responsible for governing and protecting this country. You can't tell me that they would let simply anyone throw some gaudy clothing and do as they please,"

"My costume isn't gaudy..."

"What?"

"Nothing!"

"Hmm, anyway, I think the Great Saiyaman is some magical golem or something. No human on Earth can do what he does!"

"Technically, we're not on Earth--"

I looked up at Gohan to find some odd smile on his face as he said that. "Something funny?"

"N-nothing! But, I know there are some extraordinary people on our planet, like those people that fought Cell seven years back,"

"Don't tell me you fell for that too. Honestly, Gohan, I thought you were smart," I joked as I slapped his back, causing him to stumble. "The only thing real about the Cell games was my father defeating Cell. Everything else is a trick, just like Great Saiyaman. But, this tribunal does present a perfect opportunity. I finally get to meet this clown up close,"

"There you are, Gohan!" A voice called out. I assumed it was one of his mare friends until I saw the owner. Diamond Tiara! The Diamond Tiara. She hooks her arms under Gohan's and nuzzles his cheek. "Come on, Silvie and I got the three of us reservations at the Ponyville Spa,"

"Wait! I thought the junior councilors were your girlfriends. How are you dating two of the country's top supermodels!?" I pointed my finger at the pink mare and Gohan.

Diamond Tiara rolls her eyes at me while she sighs. "The C.M.C., Gohan, Silvie and I were friends since foal hood. We formed the herd together, dated for seven years, plan to get married. Blah, blah, blah. Look, I'm glad I can inspire plain-looking filly-humans like you to be their best, but we're in a hurry. I'll sign whatever dump vanity poster later. Goodbye!"

I was left flabbergasted as that spoiled little rich girl pulls Gohan off for their little spa getaway. I could still hear them talking as they went down the hall. "That was a little harsh, D.T., and Videl isn't one of your fans - I think..."

"Gohan, when you lead the life of a celebrity, you'll learn that everypony wants you for something, fans or not. Besides, she was getting too close to you and taking up my time!"

I felt my right eye twitch as I felt my anger growing steadily. The nerve of her, thinking she could just come in and snatch away Gohan as if he's property. "I don't know what he sees in her!" Honestly, Gohan could do better! I started walking away to meet with Elisa. I made it to her room and slammed open the door.

Elisa jumps back in surprise before calming down to speak. "I know that frown, what's bothering you?"

"I ran into another of Gohan's girlfriends,"

"He has more?"

"Yeah, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon,"

Elisa's hand shot to her mouth as she gasps. "You're kidding! They're the top models in the country right now. I have their Wheattale Wood photo-op poster right here!" I felt my eye twitch again as I saw Diamond and the "Silvie" pose for the camera. Silver Spoon was resting her head on Diamond's lap with her right arm draped over her head. Diamond herself was leaning back, using her arms as support. Both of them had that seductive smirk while the pose brought attention to their chests. "Aw, you're blushing!"

Growling, I snarled at Elisa. "I am not! What do I can about those two hussies!!!"

"I got to admit that Gohan's got game if these two are in his herd," Elisa sighs as she cups her cheeks and closes her eyes. "I hope I can form a herd the same as them. Just think, a line of the hunkiest studs from both worlds~,"

"Keep dreaming, but there's something else that's bothering me..."

"Huh, what's that?"

"She said they've been dating since they were kids, but the junior councilors said they met when the school was doing the screening. You know what that means, don't you?"

Elisa tilts her head to the side in confusion. "Nope, not a clue,"

I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration. "It means either Gohan is lying about their relationship, or they're all are lying about everything!"

"Oh!" Elisa said in realization. I felt hope start to rise within me. Maybe together we can figure what's happening in this school. Then Elisa said something that dashed those hopes away. "Gohan's dating the entire school faculty!!!"

I stared blankly at Elisa before dropping my head down in exasperation. I could hear Elisa going on a rant about the alleged scandal. She wasn't going to be of any help, but it doesn't matter, I'll get to the bottom of this 'scandal.'

[Canterlot - Day of the Tribunal of Mankind - Third Person POV.]

The day of the tribunal was at hand. All of Equis nation rulers were present for the debate. Several members of the press - both of Equis and Earth - were recording as the event progressed. Videl sat at the bench with her arms crossed. Her index finger tapped against her arm while she kept a neutral expression. Looking around the room, Videl noted that the four princesses sat on the side bench, away from their usual thrones in the center of the room. The nobles of various countries were sitting on the left side. Most of them were neutral, but others shot a glare at the humans present. At the center of the room were the rulers of the many foreign nations in Equis. Standing in front of the tribunal was Chancellor Neighsay. A smarmy, self-assured smile adorning his features. Videl scoffs at the unicorn's arrogance. She wholeheartedly believes that a fight can shift in any manner that you wouldn't expect, and to be a great fighter, you have to adapt to win. Videl stops her internal musing as one of the leaders came forward. She was a hippogriff of high standing due to how vibrant and luscious her fur and feathers shone in the light. The red dorsal fin turned feather gives off a soft radiate hue that was hard to miss. The dress she was wearing was somewhat similar to Celestia's save for the single strap going over her rightsholder with frills traveling down from the center to her waist. The dress itself would often shift from even the most subtle moves, making it seems as though it was flowing in water. This mare was the ruler of Seaquestria: Queen Novo.

'Never seen the hippogriff queen before,' Videl thought as the queen spoke.

"Thank you all for coming to this tribunal. Due to conflict of interests, I, Queen Novo of the hippogriffs and ruler of Seaquestria, shall act as the mediator in place of the princesses of Equestria. Let us begin with the introductions.,"

"King Ironhoof of Minos,"

"Queen Cream Puff of New Equland,"

"Cheif Zomboiyay of Zebrica,"

"King Razor Claw of Griffonstone,"

"Queen Gilda of Griffonstone,"

"Lady Rain Shine of Whisper Village,"

"Dragonlord Ember of the Dragonlands,"

"King Consort Spike of the Dragonlands,"

Queen Novo nods her head as the leaders sat back down. "Thank you, fellow leaders. Now I would like to formally introduce the elected leader of Planet Earth; President Gruff,"

A blue canine in a navy blue suit steps forward in the center. "Thank you for the platform, world leaders of Equis. Hopefully, we can resolve this dilemma post haste,"

Before Queen Novo could continue, Chancellor Neighsay spoke up. "Don't worry yourself too much, Mr. President. It shouldn't take too long to conclude the proceedings today and extradite the human menace from our world. Although, I am curious as to why the humans elected a diamond dog as their ruler. Perhaps they see that a human ruler would fail miserably,"

Gruff took great offense to that statement. "How dare you! I am the president of the world because people recognize my talents and placed their faith in my ability to lead! Even my opponents for the position are outstanding individuals and would've made excellent leaders! I will not stand here and claim that humanity is free from flaws, but I will not allow you to tarnish all that is good on Earth! Furthermore, I am not a Diamond dog, you pompous-"

Before Gruff could finish, a sharp bang of a gavel brought the attention back to Queen Novo. "This debate, like many others, will proceed with professionalism. There will be no personal attacks or insults. The matter at hand is simple; since the construction, Equis has seen change on a global scale,"

President Gruff puffs out his chest in pride. "All thanks to the brilliant minds of Capsule Corporation,"

Neighsay scoffs but remained silent while Queen Novo nods. "If you told me these devices operated with technology and not magic, I would've thrown you into the deepest crevice of the sea," That got a chuckle out of the room. "Now, there is no doubt that the implication of human technology was a boon for the world. But to get the goods, we let in the bad. Various criminal activity committed by humans has spiked, and the powerful tools that have been a boon, are used to plague and menace our world. Every leader here can tell you a story of victimization,"

At that moment, Queen Cream Puff stood up. "Human weaponry has proven to be extremely deadly. Standard armor barely slows down a shot from those rifles. A firefight broke out in front of the national treasury not two weeks ago. My guards fended them off, but not without severe injury,"

Ironhoof stood up next. "My kingdom suffers from raids every so often. The human vandals' attack is bold but also cowardly. A military outpost came under attack about a month ago. However, humans never engaged in close combat, but instead, use long-range weapons from a distance. They're not what I would call warriors - cowards is a more apt description. It wasn't until I arrived with my new weapon in tow that they retreated,"

Gilda scoffs at the tale. "It just shows that without their fancy guns, these humans are wimps. Griffonstone hasn't had any issue with the dweebs,"

A sigh escapes from Razor Claw's beak. "Gilda, you promised to be cordial,"

"I said I wouldn't insult any creature here. The humans don't count as creatures. But it's like I said, Griffonstone doesn't have a primate problem,"

Razor Claw deadpans as he responded. "Only after we incorporated the use of their weaponry for ourselves. We've suffered raids as well the past few months," Gilda crosses her arms as her cheeks turn red with embarrassment.

Lady Rain Shine stood up as well. She gently clears her throat as she spoke in a soft tone. "My village has remained untainted by evildoers. However, we've seen the beings you spoke of near the lake of silence. What they want with the cursed water is something I'm unsure of, but their intention for it is far from good,"

Ember stood up next as she drew everyone's attention. "The dragon lands haven't suffered from raids. So I cannot express any malcontent for the humans,"

"I guess not all fools rush to their deaths," Spike said as he sat with his crossed against his chest. He appeared to be disinterested in the whole affair. "Can we get to the matter at hand here? Ember and I can afford to leave the Dragonlands. I doubt the other rulers can claim the same," Many looked at the king consort in shock at his words, most notably was the four Equestrian princesses,

Queen Novo appeared unimpressed with Spike's comments. "There's much to go over, King consort. For instance, the Storm King - a being I have brought up before - is missing!"

Instantly, Celestia stood, having heard of the up and coming warlord herself. "What do you mean the Storm King is missing?"

Queen Novo gave a sift nod in response. "Indeed. The storm army abandoned nearly all the regions they've occupied and seemingly vanished without a trace. The recent robbery attempt in Manehattan sparked some concern as a soldier of the Storm army was there with them,"

"An alliance, perhaps?" Luna inquires.

Queen Novo went to respond, but Neighsay cut her off. "Do we need any further evidence? The list of crimes goes on and on without any sign of stopping. How many more raids or disappearances must we natives of Equis suffer? Equestria needs not to tolerate neanderthals!" To the princess's dismay, many of the ponies in the room shared Neighsays sentiments.

President Gruff snarls at that remark. "You know something, chancellor. You would've made an excellent politician. The way to twist a situation to your benefit is praiseworthy. However..." President Gruff straightens himself up as he faced the audience. "Can you all deny all the benefits that came with uniting our two worlds? Advancements in medical treatments without the aid of magic, fully functional and reliable means of travel that don't require hot air. Then there is new armament to replace your admittedly antiquated models. Do I need to go any further?''

Neighsay scoffs at Gruff's reminders. "We're having this tribunal because of those same advancements. They are pollution in our real world, and we need to remove all aspects of it!"

"So you aim to tear apart families as well? I wonder how many relationships have formed since the portal's conception?"

"That is something to consider Chancellor," Queen Novo said, chiming into the conversation. "Interspecies relationships have been commonplace well before any human set foot on Equis. We, the governing party, cannot separate families for the actions of others!" Many of those opposing humanity's removal began applauding at that statement.

Chancellor Neighsay adopts an annoyed expression. "Whoever said anything about separating families? Those who would burden themselves with mating with humans can move to Earth,"

"We can't uproot creatures from their homes and send them off-world!" Twilight exclaimed, standing to her full height and flaring her wings while wearing a look of offensive adorning her features. This action gained everyone's attention as the youngest princess smiles sheepishly before sitting back down on her seat.

"Please refrain from any more outburst, Princess Twilight," Queen Novo said before turning back to president gruff. "Mr. President. You've heard the concerns, but have you any solutions?"

President Gruff peaks over his shoulder to Videl before turning back. "I have been in constant contact with the head of Capsule Corp. The Briefs have determined how these unsanctioned weapons are entering through the portal frame,"

"Oh yes, let's hear how the infamous Capsule Corporation shifts the blame to distract from their failure..." A swarm smirk adorns Neighsay features as spoke the next sentence. "Or perhaps their involvement?"

A low growl left President's Gruff's maw as the chancellor flinches. "I assure you, chancellor, there can be no mistaking who these villains are and why this is happening. The culprits are a threat I thought was long since wiped out..." There was a beat of sweat dripping down from the president's brow. The entire room waited as he prepares to relay the shocking news. "The Red Ribbon Army!"

There several murmurs that rang out in confusion save for the Equestrian princesses. Twilight and Cadence features looked alarmed while Celestia and Luna frowned. Neighsay, not realizing the issue, spoke out in ignorance. "What's that? A sewing club?"

"It's worse than that Chancellor," Everyone turned to the solar princess as she wore a grim expression. "As I recall from the historical records of the planet Earth, the Red Ribbon Army was a ruthless terrorist organization. Led by General Red, their forces spanned the globe-- nowhere was safe,"

"I can't even begin to describe the hopelessness we felt fifty years ago..." President Gruff said, his ears splayed against his head. But then, features changed as a ghost of a smile appears on his muzzle. "So imagine my surprise when several factions began crumbling one after another. At first, I believed there was infighting within the chain of command. However, the stragglers we captured all claim that a small child with spiky hair bested them. That notion is outlandish, but we were thankful for the Red Ribbon's defeat. Which brings me back to the matter at hand..." No one notices the coy smiles coming from the Equestrian princesses at the mentioned of the spiky-haired child. "Professor Brief discovered a bug in their systems that allows for weapons to slip through the cracks,"

"So we should blame Capsule Corps incompetents for these attacks?" Neighsay said snippily.

"Make no mistake, chancellor! The Red Ribbon Army has some of the brightest minds on Earth. If anyone were to find a bypass Capsule Corp firewalls. Which is why I am proposing that - with the crime rate at an all-time low - I propose that we suspend travel between our two worlds while Videl heads the investigation,"

"Surely, you jest!" Neighsay stated. "You want a teenager to combat a terrorist organization!? Do you believe this tribunal to be a joke? What merit does this child have besides being her sire? A man who supposedly defeated a bug creature? Even if we accept that as face-value, that is her father's accomplishment, not her own,"

"You haven't been paying much attention outside your little ego," Videl finally spoke, causing Neighsay to snarl. "All human-related crime is down worldwide. Thanks to me going out at every given opportunity. My father isn't just a human. He's the world champion and the strongest man on Earth," Videl frowns before smirking. "What's that old saying? 'The apple doesn't fall far from the tree?' Well, when I hit the ground, everyone is going to know it!"

"I like her!" Gilda stated. All the leaders nodded their heads in agreement while the spectators gave her a round of applause.

"Spare me the prodigy child spiel. It hardly matters since you are only one human. While you are in one country, another is under torment!"

"Then it's a good thing she's not alone!!!" A voice called out, prompting everyone to look around.

President Gruff looks up into the air and sees a figure garbed in a green tunic and black spandex. "Awrol?" Haid in confusion.

"Greetings, everyone!"

"What the-- Who are you?" Neighsay asked.

The floating man smirks as he lands on the ground and begins his introduction. "I am the champion of peace and harmony. The protector of two worlds. The Great Saiyaman!"

Lady Rain Shine held a look of indifference while King Ironhoof crosses his arms, looking thoroughly unimpressed. Gilda appeared to be holding back her laughter as Razor Claw arches a brow at Great Saiyaman's display. Spike and Ember both wore flat expression with a modicum of disbelief. They both instantly knew it was Gohan from his energy, but they had no idea that he was playing dress-up during his spare time. Both dragons peered to Twilight and the others and spoke telepathically. 'Was this your idea, Twilight?' Spike asked.

'I wanted to enlist Gohan's help for the crime sprees. The costume was all his and Bulma's idea to protect his privacy!'

'And the kooky posing? That is what Gohan wants to represent humans?'

'Hey, I like the costume, and every superhero has to strike a heroic pose!' Gohan cried out indignantly.

'You look like a dork...' Ember stated bluntly.

Back with Videl, her eyes widen as the mystery man stands on the before them. The room went silent after as everyone stares blankly at the masked hero. "You're the Great Saiyaman!?" Videl asked in disbelief. She was hunch over as her left eye twitched from his awkward poses. 'You've got to be kidding me! And what is with those lame poses!? This guy's as cheesy as they come!' She thought.

"Hey, captain weirdo. The power pony convention is in Tottenham!" Gilda called out.

"Gilda!" Razor Claw abolishes.

"My, he is a strapping young fellow, even if he has a poor fashion sense," Queen Cream Puff said. Videl arches a brow at the Equland royalty.

"While his outfit may be ridiculous, who this man is has made me curious," Cheif Zombaiyoy stated.

"This is preposterous!!!" Neighsay exclaimed. "We're at a political debate, not a nightmare night gathering! Remove yourself at once, you imbecile!"

"I'm afraid I can't do that, chancellor. I have an invitation from the princesses right here," Great Saiyaman said, pulling out a scroll. "This matter concerns all of humanity, so I need to be present. If you been following my exploits, then you can agree that many people fall in line with justice,"

"Then this is a publicity stunt orchestrated by Equestrian royalty to save face for the foolish mistake made seven years ago! What else could it be since there is no conceivable way for a human to have your abilities!"

Great Saiyaman throws his head back in laughter. "You'd be quite surprised at what humans could do. I assure you that I am quite real. But if you are more than welcome to issue a test if you want,"

"Well--" Neighsay began, but King Ironhoof's massive form suddenly appeared beside him.

He was adjusting a bracelet on his wrist as he stood before Great Saiyaman. Gohan noted that there was a blue gemstone at the center while intricate runes traveled along with the frame. "Much obliged, I'll think I'll take you up on that offer," The Minos king outstretches his arm beside Great Saiyamn's head. A moment later, a fissure sparked to life in the room. Lightning bolts crackled in the court as everyone shied away from the spectacle. Finally, an object came bursting out of the fissure. The movements were a blur as a large object flew into Ironhoof's hand. A gust of wind nearly knocked everyone down around the Minotaur king, save for the Great Saiyaman. The wind merely causes his cape to flutter.

Gohan notices that the axhead held the same gem and rune design, with the jewel at the hilt and the design itself tracing the surface of the steel. Ironhoof smiles at the fact that this masked hero didn't budge from summoning the Leviathan. The minotaur rule hefts his weapon up and planta it in front of Great Saiyaman. The room surprisingly made the room rattle upon impact. Ironhoof steps back and gestures the Great Saiyaman. Gohan understood the implications instantly. Gohan sends back a smirk of his own. The Great Saiyaman went up to the weapon and grabbed at the hilt. In an instant, Gohan felt a tremendous force bare down on him. Everyone gasps as spiderweb cracks shot through the floor. However, to the shock of everyone save for those who knew of Gohan's prowess. With one hand, Gohan lifts the ax and returns it to the Minotaur king.

"I believe this is yours, King Ironhoof,"

"Pfft. Waste of time," Spike mutters.

A broad smile fills Ironhoof features. "You know, that force you felt restricts your movements. A failsafe to prevent theft,"

"What's so special about this ax?" PResident Gruff asks.

"A family heirloom once used to slew a giant beast. Now, we use it to measure the strength of every firstborn bull of my line," King Ironhoof hoist the weapon over his shoulder as he returns to his seat. "I like this one!" He gestures to Great Saiyaman. "The kingdom of Mino's rule in favor of the humans staying on Equis!"

Chancellor Neighsay made no effort to hide rolling his eyes. "Of course the brute side with the other brutes-"

"--The kingdom of New Equland rules in favor of humans," Queen Cream Puff suddenly said.

"W-what?" Neighsay asked in disbelief.

"I've seen the video, heard the stories, and read the statistics. Human criminal activity is down across the world. Plus..." The queen of Equland made a show of flicking her mane while giving Great Saiyaman bedroom eyes. "I'd be a shame to banish all these handsome stallions~,"

'Urgh!' Videl blanches internally.

"You may be a mystery, but there is mistaking the air of familiarity. However, despite our interest, we must confess..." Chief Zomboyay pauses.

'That pregnant pause in the chief's voice did not inspire confidence...' Gohan thought.

"The attacks on our land are sporadic, the targets hit are nomadic. We wish to prevent more harm to the land, sp with great regret, we must support the ban,"

Several gasps rang out as the chief closes his eyes. The chancellor, however, grew a smug tone. "It's about time some equine exhibited common sense!"

"We agree to a temporary ban, to sort out those with nervous plans. It's a decision not born of hate, but to one that implores us to wait,"

The chief's response barely seems to deter Neighsay's mood. "Oh yes, it could take months - possibly years - to root out those dastardly Red Ribbons,"

"The Kirin's of Whisper Villiage chooses to abstain," Lady Rain Shine stated softly, much to everyone's shock.

"May I ask why, m'lady?" President Gruff inquired.

"We do not seek to remove creatures from there homes, but we can't ignore the potential for harm. We merely wish to live as we have, unimpeded,"

The Great Saiyaman nods his head. "That is a fair assessment, M'lady,"

Several murmurs of worry went off as Twilight breathes a sigh of relief. 'This is good. There are two votes in our favor, and two votes for chancellor. Queen Novo is only concerned about the storm trooper's appearance in Manehattan. And, so far, humans have no direct link to the disappearances. We got this!' Twilight thought, broadcasting her thoughts again.

'Never count on a promised vote, Twilight. It is one of the surest ways for a politician to meet with disappointment," Celestia thought sagely.

'Yeah, but I think that's not te the case here,' Gohan thought.

'Then I'm afraid I'm going to have to prove the Solar princess right,' Ember chimed in on the internal conversation. Gohan and the princesses looked over to Dragonlord Ember in confusion as the light blue dragon stood up. "The Dragonlands abstain from casting a vote," And just as quickly, Ember sat back down in her seat.

This action did not sit well with the youngest pony princess. 'You're abstaining!? Why!?!?'

'The dragons don't care one way or another about the humans, so let's leave it at that,' Spike answers, leaving Twilight aghast at his noncommittal response.

'Spike! You can't mean that. Why not just vote along with us?'

'It's more complicated than that, Twilight,' Ember said. 'Hatchling season is starting soon, and I can't risk drawing any attention to the Dragonlands. By abstaining, no one will bother us,'

'You made it seem as though any creature that carelessly trifles with the dragons will meet a grizzly end,' Luna reminded.

Ember couldn't help but glare at her. But Spike merely shrugs her off. 'It was another ploy to ward off any ideas. If you get a hatchling to imprint on you, then you get a loyal dragon for life. Imagine what harm full-grown dragons with human weapons could do,'

'We understand Ember. Maybe it won't be so bad. Queen Novo hasn't given her vote yet,' Cadance thought hopefully.

"It appears we have a tie vote. With two abstains, two approving, and two against, it falls to the hippogriffs to decide the fate of human residency on planet Equis. A moment please..." Queen Novo closes her eyes as the peril around her neck glows. The room was dead silent as Queen Novo sat perfectly still. A moment later, the glow stops, and she opens her eyes. "The kingdom of Seaquestria votes in favor of humanity's stay on Equis," The room quickly erupted into cheers and jeers at this decision.

"This is outrageous!!!" Chancellor Neighsay bellowed. "You can't allow these violent, law-breaking, savages run rampant on our world!"

"As stated before, not all of the humans are violent. And don't preach that ponies or anywhere else does not have bad examples. King Sombra, Nightmare Radiance, Nightmare Moon. And those are only the known examples. Who knows how many others are there," Queen Novo sent an apologetic glance toward Princess Luna. The princess of the night nods in response. However, Queen Novo's words did not quell the growing dissenters.

"I demand a retrial!!!"

"This tribunal is a shame!"

"Make the abstainers vote!!!"

"Hey, the vote was fair!

"You can't force good people to leave!

"How about you try and make us leave yourselves!!!"

The crowd was growing more and more restless. Videl jumps in front of the president to shield him. "Get behind me, Mr. President!"

Gohan watches on in silence while shaking his head. He slowly walks toward the hall's center, then, a deep breath. "HOOOOOAAAA!!!" Instantly, his aura flares to life, whipping his red cape in the air. Twilight was quick to summon a shield around the leaders and the crowd. The castle itself was shaking from the force Gohan was producing. After a minute of this, Gohan stops flexing his power. Twilight drops the shield and everyone, save for the princesses and the dragons, look at him in shock.

''W-what?" Videl whispered.

"I cannot promise that closing the portal or leaving it be will help matters. I cannot assure you that meeting new people will not come with risks. What I can promise you is that I will never allow any evildoers to harm either world. I believe there is goodness in everyone, no matter who they are or where they reside. So long as we value friendship and harmony above all else, then all of us can be heroes. So Says I; The Great Saiyaman!!!"

The room was quiet again for a time until the sound of clapping went off. Everyone turns to their left to see Twilight standing and applauding. Celestia, Luna, and Cadence soon followed her example while, one at a time, the other leaders joined in as well. The room erupted in applause as The Chancellor seethes. He activated his medallion and left through the portal. The day had gone in favor of humanity as a whole, and Gohan couldn't help feeling proud. President Gruff walks up to the Great Saiyaman and shakes his hand. "Thank you, Great Saiyaman. Are you my campaign manager in disguise?" Gruff whispers.

"I'm afraid I can't disclose that information,"

As the two share a laugh, Videl silently glares at the Great Saiyaman with suspicion. 'What the heck was that? It's like standing in the middle of twister! And where that earthquake came from anyway? I-Is this guy legit, or was that a fancy trick...?'

Videl scrutiny sharpens as Great Saiyan approaches her. He held out his hand for a shake. "Looks like we're partners now, Ms. Videl,"

'Six feet, seven inches. This guy's jawline reminds me of someone, and I know I heard his voice before,' Videl takes Great Saiyaman's hand and gives him a firm shake. "Believe me; I'm looking forward to getting to know you, partner!" She said with a smirk.
