The six Kamen Riders entered another part of the Giantwalker Chamber. In the centre of it was a stone basin with four Gargoyle shaped Phantoms holding it up, they were made of stone.
“I think we’ve seen the last of that guy,” Dante was referring to the rather annoying Jester Phantom.
“Thanks for destroying the lock for me, Devil Boy,” cackled Jester Phantom out of nowhere.
“You just had to open your big mouth, didn’t you?!” demanded Symbol.
“And welcome to Hell!” cackled the Jester Phantom.
Blood started to fill up the stone basin.
“Please accept my gift,” encouraged the Jester Phantom.
The blood started to leak out of the stone basin.
“Don’t be humble, just take it,” ordered the Jester Phantom. “After all we’re buddies aren’t we?”
The blood hit the Stone Gargoyle Phantoms and their bodies turned red as they transformed into Blood Gargoyle Phantoms.
“Well, isn't that special?” Dante asked his sister sarcastically.
“If this is how he treats his buddies, then I don’t want to know how this Jester Phantom treats his enemies,” Symbol replied.
“To be honest, I was expecting something a little better than this,” added Dante as he drew the Rebellion Blade.
“From a Phantom?!” demanded Symbol.
“Good point,” admitted Dante.
Let the battle begin!
Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once and then scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH GO! ACTIVE! C RANK SPELL! Red lightning covered her right fist as she punched a Blood Gargoyle Phantom in the face. Only for the lightning to have no effect on the Phantom, letting him scratch her with his claws. Sparks came from her chest armour as she stepped back in pain.
“No effect?” muttered Symbol. MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN! GIGA PLEASE! BREAK THROUGH! Suddenly, the Giga magic circle appeared under her boots and rose up through her. “What on earth-?!” demanded Symbol as a smaller Giga magic circle flew up through the air making the Giga Axe appear. Yet another Giga magic circle appeared and the Cerberus Phantom Familiar jumped out of it, he combined with the Giga Axe transforming it into the Giga Cerberus. “Now I see what’s going on,” muttered Symbol as the Wizard Driver started glowing. SMASH THE ICE! The Giga Ice magic circle appeared under her boots, transforming her into the Giga Cerberus Style. “So why did you do this?” Symbol asked the Giga Cerberus.
“To inform you that the Phantoms will be too powerful for your normal styles to fight from now on,” explained the Giga Cerberus. “You will have to use a Familiar Style from this point onwards.”
“Which means either using you or my Upgrade Styles,” muttered Symbol. “Great, that really limits my options,” she growled out. Suddenly, she yelped as the Blood Gargoyle Phantom got fed up of being ignored and slashed her across the chest plate. “It’s on now!” she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once, then she scanned the Giga Ring across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA CERBERUS C RANK SPELL! Arctic blue energy gathered around the Giga Cerberus as she spun him around and slammed the hammer side into the ground. Water in the air froze over and froze the Blood Gargoyle Phantom solid.
Then Symbol noticed something. “So they turn back to stone when they get hit?” she questioned out loud.
“I noticed!” shouted Dante as he fired Coyote A at another Blood Gargoyle Phantom.
“Then why didn’t you tell me?” shouted Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA C RANK SPELL!
“You didn’t ask!” Dante shouted back as he jumped away from a second Blood Gargoyle Phantom and kicked it in the face.
Symbol rolled her eyes as she held up her right fist, green energy gathered around it, then she punched the frozen Phantom, causing it to shatter into pieces.
Then she moved to fight off another Blood Gargoyle.
Dante punched the Buffa Royalguard Ring into the Gate Driver’s right slot as a Lust Phantom bolted towards him. ONE! BUFFA GUARD! The Phantom brought his scythe around as Dante punched the ground, causing the scythe to bounce of the Buffa Royalguard Mantle.
The Phantom roared in anger as he ran back and then zoomed forward towards Dante. The Kamen Rider frowned as he punched the Buffa Royalguard Ring into the Gate Driver for a second time. TWO! BUFFA GUARD! Dante spun around, letting the scythe bounce off the Buffa Royalguard Mantle again. “BREAK DOWN!”
“This is fun,” commented Dante. That just ticked the Lust Phantom off as he spun his scythe around before swinging it down towards Dante. He slammed the Buffa Royalguard Ring into the Gate Driver’s right slot again. THREE! BUFFA GUARD! Dante punched forward three times with the Buffa Royalguard Mantle bouncing the scythe away three times, each time it tried to arch around to attack Dante again. On the third bounce, it flew back to its owner’s hand.
The Lust Phantom jumped up to a wall and came down with an overhead slash. “Come on!” Dante responded by jumping into the air and punching the Buffa Royalguard Ring into the Gate Driver’s right slot. FOUR! BUFFA GUARD! He spun the Buffa Royalguard Mantle and deflected the Lust Phantom’s scythe again.
The Lust Phantom landed back on the ground and staggered before he charged at Dante with his scythe. Dante punched the Buffa Royalguard Ring into the Gate Driver’s right slot again. FIVE! BUFFA GUARD! Dante punched forward after wrapping his fist in the Buffa Royalguard Mantle. The scythe was deflected and the Lust Phantom was sent staggering back.
Suddenly, the Lust Phantom was covered in a black aura and raced at Dante in a blur. “YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING!” shouted Dante as he punched the Buffa Royalguard Ring into the Gate Driver’s right slot. SIX! BUFFA GUARD! Dante quickly wrapped himself in the Buffa Royalguard Mantle. He gritted as the Lust Phantom slashed at his defence.
Then he stopped. Dante unravelled the now glowing Buffa Royalguard Mantle and saw that the Lust Phantom had clearly tired himself out. “My turn,” smirked Dante as he punched the Buffa Royalguard Ring into the Gate Driver’s right slot one more time. KICK STRIKE GO! BUFFA MIX! Dante leapt into the air as the energy was transferred from the Buffa Royalguard Mantle to his right boot. Six red Buffalo Constructs formed around his right boot as Dante did a flying kick. The Lust Phantom was sent flying through four walls before he exploded.
“So how do we get out of here?” asked Symbol as the doors were still sealed by red barriers.
Then a magic circle appeared on the floor as a pillar of purple light burst out of it.
“I’m guessing that way,” replied Dante as he ran into the light.
“Wait for me!” shouted Symbol as she, Weapon, Grimm, Mega and X followed her brother.
When they came out of the teleportation, they were in a circle shaped room that was lit by purple torches.
Standing in the centre of the room was the Jester Phantom. “Welcome to hell!” he crackled.
“YOU AGAIN?!” shouted Dante as he ran at the Phantom. SHURIKEN STRIKE! “Ice Age!” roared Dante as he was surrounded by a sphere of ice and arctic winds. The sphere exploded outwards, firing a wall of ice at the Phantom.
MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE! GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST! “I won’t miss this time!” shouted Symbol as she swung the hammer part of the Giga Cerberus upwards when the Jester Phantom teleported behind Dante. “Cerberus Howl!”
“BALLS!” shouted the Giga Cerberus as he made contact.
*DING!*
“Oh!” the Jester Phantom fell over, clenching his manhood as Symbol removed the hammer from them.
“First time I’ve ever seen a clown be funny,” mocked Dante, even though he was clutching his own balls.
The Jester Phantom growled as he teleported away.
“I’ll use the axe part next time!” shouted Symbol into the air as they were teleported back into the Giantwalker Chamber.
Dante flinched a bit at that threat. “It’s time to go!” he ordered as the barrier around the doors vanished.
The four of them jumped up and through the door, arriving back in the Endless Infernum.
“Let me see that thing again,” requested Symbol.
“Sure,” Dante held up the Astronomical Board.
“I’ve seen where this goes!” Symbol snatched it off Dante and ran back into the Chamber of Echoes.
“Hey! Wait for me!” shouted Dante as he followed her.
Symbol ran up along the path and slammed the Astronomical Board into a panel that was next to a mass of rotating gears. This caused three walls near the bottom of the chamber to open, revealing another path. At the same time, a magic circle flared in the centre of the chamber’s floor. “I wonder what that does,” questioned Symbol.
“One way to find out,” replied Dante as he jumped off the path.
“YOUR INSANE!” shouted Symbol.
“Don’t worry, I have very strong ankles,” Dante shouted back as he hit the magic circle and bounced back up. He landed on the path above the one that his sister was standing on and grabbed a staff before jumping back down. “Wonder what this does,” he questioned.
“That is the Vajura,” explained the Giga Cerberus. “With it, you will be able to get the Soul of Steel from the Living Statue Room.”
“That’s the room with the cage in it, right?” asked Symbol.
“Yes,” replied the Giga Cerberus.
“That sure is a lot of backtracking,” complained Symbol as they all jumped back down and ran through the blue door.
Right into yet another Phantom horde.
Let the battle begin.
Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice then she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author before holding the Giga Cerberus vertical so that the collar was level with the Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA CERBERUS B RANK SPELL! Symbol covered the axe part of the Giga Cerberus in white arctic energy and then slammed it down on the ground, firing a line of ice spikes up the stairs, they impaled five Pride Phantoms.
Then she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA B RANK SPELL! Symbol covered her right glove in green magical energy as she slammed it into the ground. The ice spikes shattered, cutting the Phantoms up from the inside out.
Symbol slid the Bombardment, Hammer, High Speed and Furnace Rings onto her right index, middle and ring fingers as well as her right thumb. Then she pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once and scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN! BOMBARDMENT HAMMER HIGH SPEED FURNACE PLEASE! She held her right glove down to the ground as the four magic circles appeared under her boots and rose up through her, transforming Symbol into her new Giga Substyle.
The bombardment logo appeared in the upper right of her chest plate while the hammer logo materialized in the upper left of her chest plate. Then the high speed logo winked in on the lower left of her chest armour while the furnace logo flashed into the lower right of her chest plate. Her shoulder pauldrons changed from green to blue and transformed into a pair of 3D squares. Her right forearm guard turned black and her left forearm guard turned dark green. Both of her forearm guards now had burning red outlines.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Giga Cerberus style, Bombardment, Hammer, High Speed Furnace Substyle.
“Huh, no new weapons?” questioned Symbol.
“Don’t worry, you no longer need new weapons in the Familiar Styles,” explained the Giga Cerberus.
“That’s a shame,” muttered Symbol.
“Why?” asked the Giga Cerberus.
“I like new weapons,” whined Symbol.
“I hate to interrupt, BUT WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT HERE!” roared Dante.
“Oh, right!” replied Symbol, three Pride Phantoms had been hitting her for the last few minutes but had been doing no damage. She pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once and scanned her right glove over her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! BOMBARDMENT MAGIC PLEASE! Suddenly, a pair of cannons emerged from her backplate. The left one was dark green and had four barrels while the right cannon was dark red and had a single barrel.
“I thought you said I didn’t have any new weapons,” pointed out Symbol.
“I lied,” replied the Giga Cerberus.
Symbol growled as she fired a barrage of blue bolts from the Fast Shooter small barrelled cannon and a bolt of blue energy from the single barrelled Fire Shooter Barrel. The Pride Phantoms were driven back by the barrage of small blue bolts and then destroyed by the single blue bolt.
“This looks promising,” commented Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever three times and then scanned her right glove over her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! HIGH SPEED MAGIC PLEASE! Symbol took aim with the Fast Shooter and let loose with a barrage of green bullets that tore through a Wrath Phantom. His bomb exploded and destroyed a pair of Pride Phantoms that had been escorting him.
“Final!” Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice and then swiped her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! HAMMER MAGIC PLEASE! The Fire Shooter charged up black energy and fired a ball of energy into the air, it arced up and then came crashing back down, destroying a pair of Lust Phantoms that had been charging at Symbol.
Symbol turned to see how the others were doing.
Weapon pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into the left side of the Weapon Driver. S-W-O-R-D! She held out her right glove and a white boardsword with a golden guard appeared. E-A-R-T-H D-U-S-T C-H-A-R-G-E! She covered the Knight Sword in rocks as she darted forwards and slashed downwards, cutting a glowing orange line through a Blood Gargoyle Phantom. The Phantom turned to stone and was helpless as Weapon smashed him to rubble with the hilt of the Knight Sword.
Suddenly, she was struck by three more Blood Gargoyle Phantoms that circled her from the air. Weapon removed the Dust Knuckle from the left side of the Weapon Driver and then switched the Earth Dust Whistle for a new Whistle. Its head was in the shape of a starburst and the rest of it was coloured yellow. She placed the Whistle into the Dust Knuckle. L-I-G-H-T D-U-S-T! Before pressing the right side of the Dust Knuckle into her right palm. R-E-A-D-Y! She slotted the Dust Knuckle back into the Weapon Driver. F-I-S-T O-N! The holographic suit of armour shot outwards and slammed into her, transforming the orange rocky background of her chest plate into a yellow light background. Her body released a burst of yellow light that forced the three Phantoms back as the cross on her faceplate opened, revealing her blue circle shaped visors.
Then Weapon pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into the left side of the Weapon Driver once more. S-W-O-R-D! She held out her right glove and the Knight Sword appeared again as one of the Blood Gargoyle Phantoms charged at the Kamen Rider from the front. L-I-G-H-T D-U-S-T C-H-A-R-G-E! Yellow light covered the Knight Sword as Weapon swung it around. There was a flash of yellow light as the two of them appeared on the other side of each other.
There was a beat of silence.
Then the Blood Gargoyle Phantom turned to stone before falling to the ground and shattering.
The other two Blood Gargoyle Phantoms roared in rage as they flew towards Weapon. She pressed the Dust Knuckle into the Weapon Driver again. S-H-I-E-L-D! There was a flash of light as the Kite Shield appeared in her left glove. L-I-G-H-T D-U-S-T P-O-W-E-R-E-D! She held up the Kite Shield and summoned a barrier of yellow light that the two Phantoms impacted and were thrown back by.
Weapon pressed the Dust Knuckle into the Weapon Driver once more. S-W-O-R-D! She held up her right glove and the Kite Shield transformed into the Knight Sword. L-I-G-H-T D-U-S-T C-H-A-R-G-E! Yellow light covered it as the Kamen Rider pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into the left side of the Weapon Driver three more times. C-R-O-C-E-A M-O-R-S R-I-S-E U-P! Weapon held the Knight Sword up and bright yellow light covered it, transforming the sword into a giant blade of yellow light energy that reached up to the roof. Weapon slashed down, the blade of light was wide enough to engulf the two Blood Gargoyle Phantoms. As the sword slammed into the ground, a powerful explosion rippled across the Giantwalker Chamber. “Mission accomplished,” spoke up Weapon.
“Everyone’s doing really well,” stated Symbol.
They ran into the Living Statue Chamber and looked around for a minute.
“Dante, over here!” shouted Symbol.
“You found something?” asked Dante as he ran over.
Symbol showed him a cylinder with three holes in it that looked like they could fit the Vajura’s prongs.
“Think it’ll fit?” asked Symbol.
“Let’s see,” Dante rammed the Vajura into the slots and pulled down, turning the cylinder. Which in turn pulled the chains, raising the cage up.
“Nice one,” Symbol ran over and grabbed the Soul of Steel from the cage.
Doing this made red barriers spring up around the doors.
“Of course that would happen!” snarled Symbol as Gluttony Phantoms and Enigma Phantoms started appearing all around the room.

Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever four times and then scanned her right glove over her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! FURNACE MAGIC PLEASE! The Fire Shooter took aim and fired a fireball at an Enigma Phantom. The flame hit the Phantom and drove it back several steps with a smoking hot chest.
“That thought came out wrong,” muttered Symbol as she blushed. Then Symbol switched the Hammer Ring for the Drill Ring. She pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN! BOMBARDMENT DRILL HIGH SPEED FURNACE PLEASE! She held her right glove down to the ground, the Drill magic circle appeared under her boots and rose up through her. The Hammer logo in the upper left of her chest armour was replaced by the drill logo. Her right forearm guard shifted from black to purple. A third barrel came from her backpack, it was purple and looked like a spiral, also it was positioned over her helmet. This is called the Spiral Shooter.
The Enigma Phantom recovered and took aim at Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once, then she scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! BOMBARDMENT MAGIC PLEASE! The three barrels took aim at the Phantom and blue energy gathered in front of them. “Fire!” shouted Symbol as the barrels each fired a blast of blue energy. The three blasts spiralled around each other as they rocketed through the air and hit the Enigma Phantom, causing it to explode.
Suddenly, Symbol shouted and stumbled in pain as a sand breath attack hit her in the backplate. She spun around and glared at a Gluttony Phantom as she hit the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice, then she held her right glove in front of her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! DRILL MAGIC PLEASE! The Spiral Shooter took aim and fired a stream of purple energy that spiralled through the air. The Gluttony Phantom blocked with his scythe, but he was pushed back before his scythe broke it two. Thankfully for him, the blast had lost too much energy and was unable to do more than bruise his chest.
“Darn it!” shouted Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever three times and held her right glove in front of her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! HIGH SPEED MAGIC PLEASE! The Fast Shooter moved so that it was aimed at the Gluttony Phantom and opened fire with a barrage of green bullets that shot through the air. The Gluttony Phantom took in a deep breath and exhaled, firing a stream of sand through the air causing most of the bullets to detonate before they were able to reach him.
“Ok, bring it on!” Symbol hit the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever four times and swiped her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! FURNACE MAGIC PLEASE! The Fire Shooter took aim at the Gluttony Phantom and fired a spiral of flame through the air towards him. The Guttony Phantom fired another breath attack, this one was much weaker than the last one. The spiral of fire coiled around the breath attack and pulled the sand after it. The Phantom only had enough time to throw up his arms in defence before he was incinerated by blazing hot sand that had come from his own attack.
“Finished,” muttered Symbol.
PROTO SHIELD! Mega held up her right glove as the Proto Shield appeared on it, blocking a sand breath attack from a Gluttony Phantom. Mega ran forward and punched the Phantom in the gut, forcing him to stop his attack.
Mega jumped back as the Phantom swung at her with his scythe, she slotted the Liquid Tune Whistle into the Mega Driver and pressed down on the top of it. LIQUID TUNE! She was covered in a sphere of liquid as she transformed into her Liquid Tune. The sphere detonated, forcing the Gluttony Phantom to back off.
Then Mega pulled out a new Whistle. Its head was in the shape of a bubble and the rest of it was coloured blue. Mega slotted it into the Mega Driver and pressed down. BUBBLE LEAD! She held up both gloves and a bubble appeared between them. She rolled it along the ground and the Gluttony Phantom laughed at her as he blew a sand breath attack at the bubble. Only for the bubble to plough through it and flatten the Phantom like a steam roller over the tarmac. Then the flattened Phantom reinflated and ran at Mega.
Mega slotted the Fire Tune Whistle back into the Mega Driver before pressing down on it. FIRE TUNE! She was covered in fire that burst off her body as she transformed back into the Fire Tune. She pulled out the next Whistle. Its head looked like a boomerang and the rest of it was coloured red. She placed it into the Mega Driver’s mouth and slammed her right glove down on it. QUICK BOOMERANG! A red boomerang construct appeared around her right arm as she dashed forward and slashed the Gluttony Phantom several times before he was able to recover and hit her back with the shaft of his scythe prior to slashing her across her chest armour twice.
Mega slotted the Liquid Tune Whistle back into the Mega Driver and pressed down on it. LIQUID TUNE! Water covered her body as she transformed into the Liquid Tune, blocking a sand breath attack. She drew the next new Whistle, it’s head was in the shape of a spike while the rest of it was coloured blue. She placed it into the Mega Driver and pressed down on it. CRASH BOMBER! Mega threw her left arm forward and fired a spike. It shot through the air and the Gluttony Phantom used his scythe to block, only for the spike to explode and send him staggering backwards from the force of the explosion.
Mega slotted the Fire Tune Whistle back into the Mega Driver and pressed down on it. FIRE TUNE! There was a burst of heat as she transformed back into the Fire Tune and drew a new Whistle. Its head looked like a clock and the rest of it was coloured red. She placed it into the Mega Driver’s slot and slammed her right glove down on it as the Gluttony Phantom recovered and fired another sand breath attack at her. TIME STOPPER! Suddenly, everything stopped as Mega froze time.
She walked up behind the Phantom as she placed her right glove into the Mega Driver’s mouth, letting it bite down. TIME STOPPER BITE! Her right boot was covered in red energy as she spun around and kicked the Gluttony Phantom in the back, sending him flying as time started up again. The Phantom cried out in pain as he exploded.
“So what does this do Cerberus?” asked Symbol.
“Do you remember the Endless Infernum?” asked the Giga Cerberus.
“...” all four Kamen Riders gave him a blank look.
“It’s the room where the bridge collapsed,” explained the weapon.
“Oh!” replied Dante and Symbol.
“The Soul of Steel will let you walk across the gap as if it were solid ground,” explained the Giga Cerberus.
“That could come in handy,” stated Dante.
“Don’t get used to it, you will have to give it up to unlock the door on the other side of the gap,” chuckled the Giga Cerberus.
“That bites,” whined Symbol.
“You do realize that you can both fly, right?” asked the Giga Cerberus.
There was a beat of awkward silence.
“Let’s go!” shouted Symbol.
They ran back out into the Entrance Way.
Into yet another horde of Phantoms.
“Why did I not see this coming?!” demanded Symbol.
Let the battle begin.
A Lust Phantom came screaming towards her and slashed her, unleashing a spray of sparks as he rocketed past her. Then he turned around and slashed her across the backplate several times before jumping back as Symbol swung at him with the Giga Cerberus. “You are not going to get away with that!” snarled out Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times and scanned the Giga Ring across it. Then she held the Giga Cerberus over her waist so that the collar was level with the Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA CERBERUS A RANK SPELL! The Lust Phantom cam charging at Symbol again as she covered the spear part of the Giga Cerberus in arctic white energy. “Take this!” shouted Symbol as she stabbed forward with the Giga Cerberus. The Lust Phantom had no time to change course and was frozen over from the point the Giga Cerberus stabbed into him.
“Time to end this!” Symbol struck the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times and then scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA A RANK SPELL! Green energy covered her body as she grabbed the frozen Phantom in a bear hug and then crushed it, causing the Phantom to shatter.
Sparks flew from Symbol as three red arrows impacted her. Symbol stumbled back and glared at three Enigma Phantoms as she switched the High Speed Ring for the Terra Ring. Then she hit the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever and held her right glove in front of her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN! BOMBARDMENT DRILL TERRA FURNACE PLEASE! Symbol held her right glove down to the ground as the Drill magic circle appeared under her boots and rose up through her. The High Speed logo in the bottom left of her chest armour transformed into the black Terra logo. The cannons on her back vanished and a cannon appeared under her right arm. It was dark blue with a spiral shaped barrel and black tank treads on either side of it. The whole thing had red outlines and attached to the bottom of the cannon was four red grills that glowed as well as shimmered with heat. This is the Drill Chain Furnace.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Giga Cerberus Style, Bombardment Drill Terra Furnace Substyle.
Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once and then swiped her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! BOMBARDMENT MAGIC PLEASE! Blue energy gathered around the cannon weapon as Symbol took aim and fired a beam of blue energy at the Enigma Phantoms. They charged up their bows with red energy before each of them fired a red energy arrow. They swirled together and combined into a single arrow that parted the beam down the middle.
“Shit!” snarled out Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice and held her right glove in front of her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! DRILL MAGIC PLEASE! She took aim and fired a spiral of red fire from the Drill Chain Furnace. The flame wrapped around the blue beam and pushed back against the arrows. The two beams wrapped around each other. “Final!” shouted Symbol as cracks spread through the arrows before they shattered. The blue beam washed over the Phantoms while the spiral of fire drill a hole through them. The sound of a drill on stone was heard until the three Enigma Phantoms exploded.
X jumped back as an Enigma Phantom fired a trio of blue arrows at her, she dodged to the side and slotted the Water Tune Whistle into the X Driver before pressing down. WATER TUNE! She was covered in a sphere of water which then exploded outward, blocking three more blues arrows, transforming her into the Water Tune. She drew out a Whistle that was coloured green with the head of a buzzsaw. She placed it into the X Driver and pressed down. SPIN WHEEL! She held up her right glove and water gathered into a wheel, it started to spin as the edges turned jagged, then the wheel shot forward and ground sparks out of the Enigma Phantom that it smashed into.
Then X slotted the Wind Tune Whistle into the X Driver before pressing down. WIND TUNE! She was covered in a sphere of blue wind that burst outwards, blocking a red arrow, as she transformed into the Wind Tune. She drew a Whistle with a bubble head which was coloured blue. She slammed it into the X Driver and pressed down. BUBBLE SPLASH! She held both of her gloves forward and fired an arc of bubbles into the air. They shot forward and detonated against the Phantom causing sparks to explode from the impact point.
X placed the Silent Tune Whistle into the X Driver and pressed down on it. SILENT TUNE! She was covered in a sphere of purple sound as she shifted into the Silent Tune and pulled out a new Whistle. It was purple with the head of a flame. She placed it into the Mega Driver and pressed down on top of it. SPEED BURNER! Mega held up both gloves and fired a pair of fireballs that shot through the air, spiralling around each other. They slammed into the Enigma Phantom’s chest and forced him back with smoke coming from the impact point.
X switched the Earth Whistle into the X Driver and pressed down on it. EARTH TUNE! She was covered in a sphere of rock as she transformed into the Earth Tune. The sphere of rock exploded, sending the Enigma Phantom flying as several rocks smacked into his face. Mega slotted a brown Whistle with the head of a spider into the X Driver before pressing down on the top of it. SILK SHOT! X held up her right palm and fired a chain that tore some metal from a wall, she spun it around and slammed it into the Enigma Phantom, sparks exploded from the impact point as the Phantom was sent flying back and exploded against a wall.
“Mission cleared,” droned X.
The group ran back into the Chamber of Echoes and quickly found the yellow door that led back to the Endless Infernum.
“Here we go,” Symbol stepped into the void.
Dante tensed to grab her.
Symbol expected to fall, only for her boot to land on the air as if it were solid ground. The air rippled as if her boots were stones impacting the water. “It’s fine! Come on!” she ran across the gap with Dante and her Gem Maiden Servants following.
The door opened as Dante slotted the Soul of Steel into it.
The group ran down some stairs and into an elevator room.
Symbol pressed down on the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA C RANK SPELL! She covered her right fist in energy and punched a wheel that was mounted on the wall.
All of the points lit up in red flames.
Symbol jumped onto the elevator, that was positioned in the centre of the room as it started to rise into the air.
Then Dante had to open his big mouth. “That was easy.”
Phantoms dropped down onto the elevator.
Symbol glared at her Brother in rage.
“Oops,” replied Dante.
Let the battle begin.
Symbol took aim with the Drill Chain Furnace as she hit the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever three times and scanned her right glove over her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! HIGH SPEED MAGIC PLEASE! Symbol fired a barrage of black coals that forced three Pride Phantoms back until they fell over the edge of the elevator and broke apart when they impacted the floor below.
Suddenly, Symbol was slashed across the backplate by a Gluttony Phantom. She turned around just in time to take a sand breath blast to her faceplate. “Ok, that is it! CERBERUS!” shouted Symbol.
“Yes, Mistress?” asked the Giga Cerberus.
“I’m going to try something really, really stupid!” she shouted. “I’m sorry if this goes very wrong!”
“I trust you, my mistress,” replied the Giga Cerberus.
“Great,” Symbol switched the Giga Ring for the Active Ring and hit her Driver’s left Shift Lever before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN! ACTIVE PLEASE! LET’S GO! She held her left glove out to the side as the Active magic circle appeared and moved through her, transforming her back into the Active Style. Then she held out her right glove and a small Giga magic circle appeared on the floor. White light shone from it as the Cerberus Phantom Familiar rose out of it.
He jumped onto Symbo’s right shoulder pauldron. “How did you?”
“I’ve always been a fast learner,” explained Symbol as she reached into an Active magic circle and drew the Active Blade from it. Then she pulled open its Hand Author and scanned Active Ring across it. COME ON A SLASH SHAKE HANDS! ACTIVE! SLASH STRIKE! She slashed down, firing a wave of lightning from the Active Blade that was leaking arctic blue energy. It roared across the air and impacted the Gluttony Phantom’s raised scythe. Sparks flew everywhere before the lightning wave detonated and made the Phantom stagger back.
“It worked!” suddenly, blue lightning crackled over Symbol’s body and drove her down to one knee.
“SUNSET!” shouted Dante as he ran over to his sister and helped her back to her boots. “What happened?!”
“My energy is incompatible with the Active Style and caused feedback when used in a spell,” explained the Cerberus Phantom Familiar.
“I had a feeling that would be the case,” admitted Symbol.
“And you still thought doing it would be a good idea?!” demanded an irate Dante.
“I’ll be fine, just so long as I only do that trick once or twice,” explained Symbol as she managed to steady herself.
Grimm pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into the right side of the Grimm Driver. B-E-R-I-N-G-E-L B-I-T-T-I-N-G! The Gorilla Gauntlets appeared on her wrists as she pulled them back. W-H-I-T-E G-L-Y-P-H A-T-T-A-C-K! Then a white glyph appeared in front of each fist. She thrust them through the glyphs and her arms were accelerated into white streaks. She slammed her fists into the Lust Phantom and sent him flying backwards with his head exploding as it made contact with a wall.
Then Grimm drew a new Whistle, it’s head was in the shape of a red magnet and the rest of it was coloured bronze. She removed the Aura Knuckle from the Grimm Driver, then she took the White Glyph Whistle out of the Aura Knuckle and inserted the new Whistle. M[b]-A-G-N-E-T! She pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into her left palm. R-E-A-D-Y! She slotted the Aura Knuckle back into the right side of the Grimm Driver. F-I-S-T O-N! The holographic suit of armour appeared in front of her and slammed back into her, transforming the white glyph on her chest plate into a bronze magnet with red tips.
Grimm pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle back into the Grimm Driver. B-E-R-I-N-G-E-L B-I-T-T-I-N-G! The Gorilla Gauntlets appeared on her wrists once more. M-A-G-N-E-T A-T-T-A-C-K! Suddenly, a Gluttony Phantom was yanked towards Grimm, she pulled back her right fist and punched the Phantom. His momentum was stopped and reversed with enough force to snap his spine in half.
Then Grimm pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into the right side of the Grimm Driver twice. B-E-R-I-N-G-E-L T-E-A-R-I-N-G! The Gorilla Gauntlets vanished as a banana bomb appeared in her right glove. Grimm threw the bomb forwards and it landed on the ground. M-A-G-N-E-T B-A-T-T-L-E! Three Lust Phantoms ran past it, only to get pulled back to the bomb, which then exploded, taking out all three of them.
Grimm removed the Aura Knuckle from her Driver and switched the Beringel Whistle for the Beowulf Whistle. B-E-O-W-U-L-F! She pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into her left palm. R-E-A-D-Y! Before reattaching the Aura Knuckle to the Grimm Driver. F-I-S-T O-N! The holographic suit of armour slammed into her, transforming the Beringel into a Beowulf. Then she slammed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into the right side of the Grimm Driver. B-E-O-W-U-L-F B-I-T-I-N-G! She held out her gloves as the Beo Claws appeared in flashes of black mist. M-A-G-N-E-T A-T-T-A-C-K! She slashed downwards and as a Gluttony Phantom fired a sand breath attack, the sand was parted three ways down the middle.
Grimm quickly pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into the right side of the Grimm Driver twice. B-E-O-W-U-L-F T-E-A-R-I-N-G! Black mist covered her legs as they shifted into Beowulf legs. M-A-G-N-E-T B-A-T-T-L-E! Grimm darted forward as Lust Phantom was pulled towards her, she kicked it with enough force to break a hole in its stomach.
“Mission Clear,” stated Grimm.
The group ran out onto a walkway that led to the outside of the tower.
“It’s cold tonight,” muttered Symbol.
“Really?” asked Dante.
“Well, for a human anyway,” replied Symbol.
Dante shrugged. “Good job we’re not human then.”
They ran back inside the tower, through a pair of red doors and into the Firestorm Chamber.
It was a black cave like room, at one end was a large steel black door with many, many locks and chains across it.
“Are those supposed to be statues, or thrones?” asked Symbol.
The chains wrapped across the door lead to a pair of giant thrones. They were in the shape of people with no heads. They each held a massive double sided sword.
Sitting on each throne was a Phantom. They were humanoids and dressed in knight armour. The Phantom on the left wore red armour while the Phantom on the right was dressed in blue armour. Each of them held a curved single sided sword.
“Look Brother, it’s been ages but we finally have company,” spoke the red Phantom.
“I see that,” replied the blue Phantom. “We must entertain our guests.”
“Your right, we have to be gracious hosts.”
“What should we do?”
“How do I know? We need to come up with something.”
Dante had started to pace.
Symbol sweat dropped.
“Brother, one of our guests is sighing.”
“SIGH? What is a SIGH?”
“Well a sigh is-”
*Rumble!*
The two Phantoms and Dante slowly turned to look at Symbol who’s stomach had just rumbled.
“Brother,” the first Phantom spoke. “We have TWO guests!”
“And the smaller one-,” began the blue Phantom.
A tick mark appeared on Symbol’s helmet.
“-is hungry!” finished the blue Phantom.
“We must provide food,” added the red Phantom.
“But what food?” asked the blue Phantom.
“Got any cookies?” asked Symbol.
Dante looked at his sister.
“What?!” she demanded as she transformed back into Sunset Shimmer Sparda. “I haven’t had anything to eat in days,” she paused. “Or years, depending on your point of view.”
“Cookie we shall provide,” chroised both Phantoms.
Without any warning, Dante found himself and Sunset buried under a pile of cookies that appeared out of nowhere.
“Do you think we provided too much Brother?” asked the red Phantom.
“Nonsense,” the second Phantom countered. “There is no such thing as too much of a good thing!”
A loud munching could be heard from the pile as Sunset started to eat her way out.
“Did I not tell you, Brother?” crowed the second Phantom. “We have pleased our guests!”
“One of them anyway,” groused Dante as he pulled himself out of the cookie mountain. “In case you hadn’t noticed, I’m not hungry! At least, not for cookies.”
“He is right, brother,” confirmed the first Phantom. “We must please both our guests to be good hosts.”
“Then what can we do?” inquired the second Phantom. “We cannot please our guest if we do not know what they want.”
“Perhaps we could provide some other food item!” the red Phantom suggested.
“But what food item should we offer?” the blue Phantom asked.
“Hmm, our female guest asked for something and we made her happy,” the first Phantom pointed out.
“Then tell us, guest, what food would you like?” the second Phantom demanded of Dante.
Dante glanced at his sister.
Who was still happily eating her way through the pile of cookies.
He released his transformation. “Well, I should let her finish eating, anyway. Got any pizza?” he asked.
“Pizza we shall provide!” the Phantoms proclaimed.
A large stack of pizza boxes from Dante’s favourite pizza shop landed in front of him. “Sweet,” he cheered happily as he popped open the first box and took a big bite of a slice.
“But to be good hosts, food is not enough!” the first Phantom stated. “We must do more!”
“Yes,” agreed the blue Phantom. “We must provide entertainment!”
“But what sort of entertainment should we provide,” asked the first Phantom.
“Perhaps you could be the straight man for some comedy,” the second Phantom suggested.
“A wondrous idea!” the red Phantom agreed. “Then I shall inquire about your baseball team! Who is on first?”
“That is correct!” the blue Phantom proclaimed.
About an hour later, after Sunset and Dante had both finished eating, with their enhanced bodies digesting the food at a rapid rate. The Phantoms had finished butchering every form of comedy and humour known to man throughout all history.
Then Sunset started to get restless.
“Brother!” the first Phantom shouted, interrupting one of their routines. “Our female guest is becoming restless. Do you suppose we are being too noisy and she desires a nap?”
Sunset was starting to get ticked off.
“If that is the case, we can sing her a lullaby,” the second Phantom offered as he turned to address Sunset. “Do you desire a lullaby?
“No,” gritted out Sunset. “I need ARGH!”
“What is an ARGH?” the first Phantom inquired. “I do not understand that word.”
“I believe it is a new language. But I too have no clue what it means,” the second Phantom conferred.
“She needs to go to the bathroom,” Dante pointed out. “She did just eat what had to be a truck full of cookies.”
“Of course!” the red Phantom proclaimed. “We provided food, but no methods for our guests to relieve themselves.”
“An oversight was must correct for both of them!” the second Phantom asserted.
“Potties we shall provide!” the two of them shouted together.
A tree dropped down from the ceiling, landing in front of Sunset, it had a curtain attached to it for privacy.
A port-a-potty dropped down near Dante.
Sunset rushed to the tree and pulled the curtain shut.
Dante smirked. “You guys aren’t so bad as hosts,” he commented before stepping in to relieve himself.
“Did you hear Brother?” the first Phantom spoke up. “He said we are good hosts!”
“How wondrous!” the second Phantom agreed. “The Master would be so proud!”
After about five minutes, Dante and Sunset came out of their lavatories.
“You know,” Dante spoke up. “There’s one more thing you can do to be good hosts.”
“There is?” the red Phantom asked eagerly. “Tell us!”
“Name it and we will do anything in our power!” the second Phantom agreed.
“We-,” Dante pointed to himself and Sunset. “-want to go through that door there,” he pointed to the door being held by chains.
A menacing rubble filled the room.
“I don’t like the sound of that,” muttered Sunset.
“Our job here is to guard this door,” the first Phantom proclaimed.
“That’s right,” the second one agreed. “We cannot let you pass!”
With that, they jumped down.
“That's something you don’t see every day,” muttered Symbol as the Phantoms hit the floor.
“And coming from us, that's saying something,” added Dante as he punched the Devil Trigger Ring into the Gate Driver’s left slot. TRIGGER! DEVIL GO! DE-DE-DE-DEVIL! The Devil Trigger magic circle appeared from his Driver and moved back through him. “HENSHIN!” shouted Dante as he transformed into Kamen Rider Dante.
“Yeah,” added Sunset as she pressed down on the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever before scanning the Advance Ring across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO ADVANCE YOUR CLASS! ADVANCE PLEASE! She held her left hand out in front of her as the Advance magic circle moved back through her. “HENSHIN!” transforming her into the Advance Style. Symbol thrust her right glove into the air. “COME! ADVANCE TIMER!”
YES! MY MISTRESS!” Shouted the Crow Bit Phantom as he came shooting out of the air. He slammed into her right forearm guard and transformed into the Advance Timer.
Symbol turned the dial and pressed the thumb part inwards. ADVANCE TIME! SET UP! START! She turned to Grimm, Weapon, Mega and X. “Keep the other Phantoms off us!” she ordered them.
“Alright, my Master,” replied Grimm.
“Yes Master,” replied Weapon.
“Yes, Sir,” added Mega.
“Rodger!” responded X.
“My female pride still hates that,” muttered Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE B TIER SPELL! The emitters on her shoulder pauldrons glowed as she raced forward, circling around behind the red Phantom and driving her elbow toward his back. Only for the Phantom to spin around and block with his sword.
“Not bad,” commented Symbol as she pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once and held her left glove in front of her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE C TIER SPELL! Yellow energy covered her right fist as the emitters on her forearm guards glowed. She pulled back her fist, only for the Phantom to jump into the air and come shooting back down, slamming his sword into the ground, sending out a wave of fire that knocked Symbol back.
“Ow!” grunted Symbol, she got back up as the red Phantom charged at her. She quickly hit the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times and scanned her left glove over her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE A TIER SPELL! She crossed her arms as the emitters on her shins summoned yellow magical energy, forming a shield. Only for the Phantom to smash through it, slashing Symbol across her chest armour with his sword and send her skidding back.
Symbol hit the Advance Timer’s thumb inwards. BREAKER ADVANCE! The Breaker magic circle appeared in the air and Breaker Advance jumped out of it. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once and scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER C TIER SPELL! The emitters on her forearm guards glowed as red energy blurred her left glove. She shot forwards and decked the red Phantom, only for him to block the punch.
Dante punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. ONE! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! Red energy gathered around the barrel as he fired off three bursts of red energy. The Phantom dodged each of them and closed the distance in a second, slashing Dante across the chest plate multiple times.
The Phantom grabbed Dante with his free arm and slammed the Kamen Rider into the ground. TWO! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! Only for Dante to shoot him in the face three times. The phantom shouted in pain as he staggered back.
BLOCKER ADVANCE!
Dante got back up and pointed the Rebellion Magnum at the ground as he punched the Trigger Ring into the back of it. THREE! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! He fired a blast into the ground that burst out in a pillar of red hot plasma.
The blue Phantom blurred away and appeared behind Dante, punching him with the sharp side of his blade so that Dante was sent flying into a wall. “Ha!” what do you think of that?” shouted the blue Phantom.
“What do you think of this!?” FOUR! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! A beam of red energy shot into the air, it arced down and slammed into the blue Phantom. An explosion washed through the area as the Phantom was sent flying back.
FIVE! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! “OH NO!” muttered the Phantom as five spheres of red energy were fired up into the air and arched down toward him.
*BOOM!*
BOUNDER ADVANCE!
Five explosions, so close together that they might as well have been a single sound, echoed throughout the Firestorm Chamber as the spheres detonated.
Suddenly, the blue Phantom rocketed out of the smoke and slammed into Dante, sending him shooting back in pain. Then the Phantom slammed him into the ground before kicking him up into the air. The blue Phantom blurred up and smashed Dante back into the ground. He spun his sword, creating a tornado that shot him down, letting him execute a flying kick to Dante’s back.
“DANTE!” Symbol was about to dash over to Dante when an arm grabbed her arm.
“Worry about yourself!”
Symbol turned, just in time to get punched in the faceplate by a sword and sent smashing into a wall. BLASTER ADVANCE! There was a flash of purple light from within the dust cloud. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLASTER C TIER SPELL! Then a barrage of purple spheres shot out of it. The red Phantom crossed his arms as the orbs hit him and exploded, shrouding him in smoke.
ADVANCE WEAPON TIME! Cried out the Advance Timer.
Suddenly, the red Phantom came running out of the smoke, he dashed towards Symbol and Advance Blaster.
Advance Blocker saw this and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once before scanning her left glove over her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLOCKER C TIER SPELL! The emitters on her forearm guards powered up as a square shaped shield appeared in front of the red Phantom’s targets. He smashed into it and the shield cracked badly, but he was stopped.
Advance Bounder noticed her opening and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BOUNDER B TIER SPELL! The emitters on her shoulder pauldrons glowed as she bolted forward and kicked the Phantom into the air.
Where Advance Breaker was waiting.
She hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times then scanned her left glove over her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER A TIER SPELL! The emitters on her shin guards glowed with red energy. That energy was pushed into her right glove as she curled it into a fist. With a yell she brought it down, sending the Phantom shooting back towards the ground. Which he impacted with enough force to make a crater.
Symbol pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inwards. BREAKER SWORD! Advance Breaker reached into a small Breaker magic circle that appeared to her right and pulled out the Breaker Sword.
“Did we do it?” asked Symbol.
“Congratulations,” stated the red Phantom cheerfully as he got back up.
“Oh come on!” shouted Symbol.
“I will now be taking you semi seriously!” with that his whole body flared up in red fire.
Meanwhile, Dante had gotten back up. “So you want to fight with speed? I can do that!” he switched the Trigger Ring into its Angel Mode and punched it into the Gate Driver’s left slot. TRIGGER! GO ANGEL! AN-AN-AN-ANGEL! He held his left glove out in front of him and the Angel Trigger magic circle appeared before going back through him.
Dante punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum and pulled the trigger. ANGEL ONE! MAGNUM STRIKE! He fired a line of blue magical energy that shot forward and slammed into the blue Phantom, driving him back before the attack ran out of energy.
BLOCKER SWORD!
Then Dante punched the Angel Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum again as he ran around behind the Phantom. ANGEL TWO! MAGNUM STRIKE! Dante fired a circle of light blue spinning energy that shot forwards. The blue Phantom spun around and blocked the attack with his sword, but was still forced back as sparks came from the sword.
Dante got around behind the Phantom again and slammed the Angel Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. ANGEL THREE! MAGNUM STRIKE! He fired a line of blue energy that shot up and sent the Phantom flying into the air from the force of the impact.
“Now’s my chance!” Dante spun the Trigger Ring back into its demon mode and slammed it into the Gate Driver’s left slot. TRIGGER! DEVIL GO! DE-DE-DE-DEVIL! Dante held his left glove out as the Devil Trigger magic circle moved back through him. Then he slammed the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. TWO! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! He took aim and fired three bursts of red energy that smashed into the Phantom’s back and exploded.
BOUNDER SWORD!
“Is that is?” asked Dante as the Phantom crashed back into the ground.
Then he got back up.
“Still got some fight left in you?” asked Dante.
“I will now be taking you at least a bit more seriously. You have my apologies for not doing so before now,” replied the blue Phantom as he was covered in an aura of wind.
Meanwhile, Symbol was sent flying back with sparks coming off her body as the fire Phantom hit her with a blazing sword strike. She looked up as the Phantom jumped into the air and came down with his sword covered in blazing flames.
Symbol hit the Advance Timer’s thumb inwards. BLASTER SWORD! Advance Blaster reached into a Blaster magic circle and pulled out the Blaster sword.
“Advance Blocker, protocol alpha! Protect your creator!” ordered Symbol.
Advance Blocker jumped in front of Symbol and spun the Lower Giga Barrel before pulling the Blocker Sword’s trigger. BLOCKER SLASHING STRIKE! She slashed upwards, firing a beam of blue energy that shifted into a wall, blocking the Phantom and repelling him.
The Phantom landed on the ground and was about to charge. BREAKER SLASHING STRIKE! Suddenly, he was forced to turn around and block a water type slash from the Breaker Sword. “Ow! OW!” shouted the Phantom as he kicked Advance Breaker away.
Advance Bounder dashed forward as she spun the Lower Swift Barrel and pulled the Bounder Sword’s trigger. BOUNDER SLASHING STRIKE! It was covered in green energy as she stabbed the Phantom in the chest. He shouted in pain as he let loose a wave of fire from his body that sent Advance Bounder flying back.
Symbol pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inwards. ADVANCE SWORD! She reached into an Advance magic circle that appeared and drew the Advance Sword. ADVANCE PART TIME! Then she spun the upper barrel before pulling the Advance Sword’s trigger, stopping it on the Active magic circle. ADVANCE SLASHING STRIKE! Red lightning built up around the sword as she stabbed forwards, firing a bolt of red lightning from the tip of the sword that soared through the air and smashed into the red Phantom, sending him smoking.
“You now have my full attention. It has been a long time since I have had to fight someone of your power,” stated the red Phantom as blazing hot red flames burst into being around his body.
“He still had this much power?” questioned Symbol out loud.
The Phantom charged.
Meanwhile, Dante was getting his butt handed to him.
He was sent flying back by a tornado of wind as he switched the Trigger Ring into its angel mode and punched it into the Gate Driver’s left slot. TRIGGER! GO ANGEL! AN-AN-AN-ANGEL! The Angel Trigger magic circle appeared in front of Dante and moved back through him. He jumped into the air, the blue Phantom zipped under him and slammed the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. ANGEL FIVE! MAGNUM STRIKE! Dante took aim and fired a bolt of blue energy that shot down and moved along the ground. The blue Phantom spun around and deflected it.
ERROR! “Why?!” shouted Symbol.
Dante punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum again. ANGEL SIX! MAGNUM STRIKE! Then he fired a tornado of light blue energy at the Phantom. It shot through the air, only for the blue Phantom to shoot it back at Dante with a wave of his sword. “Why did I think it was a good idea to attack the wind controlling Phantom with a tornado?!” demanded Dante as he was thrown into a wall.
ERROR! “Not again!”
Dante saw the blue Phantom charging at him and switched the Trigger Ring back into its Devil Mode. TRIGGER! DEVIL GO! DE-DE-DE-DEVIL! He transformed back into the Devil Trigger Style, but all he could see now as a blue blur zooming around slashing at his armor. Cracks started to appear all over his armor, his Devil Trigger Style was about to reach its limit.
ERROR! “Nearly there!”
Dante saw his opening as the blue Phantom came charging at him. He punched the Devil Trigger Ring into the Gate Driver’s left slot. GO! DEVIL! KICK STRIKE! His boot was covered in red energy as he kicked the Phantom in the stomach, sending him flying back into the red Phantom with red lightning crackling over his body
CERBERUS MOUTH! “YES!” shouted Symbol.
The purple Cerberus appeared and moved around Advance Blaster. It slammed into her back plate and transformed into three Cerberus heads that came out of her chest plate.
Then, before the red Phantom was able to do anything, the blue Phantom crashed into him.
“Blaster! Now!” roared Symbol.
Advance Blaster pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times, then she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE! ADVANCE BLASTER S TIER SPELL! THE BEST! The emitters on her body shone, channelling purple energy into the three Cerberus Heads.
“Blaster Impact!” ordered Symbol.
Advance Blaster fired a beam of ice, fire and lightning from each of the Cerberus Heads. The three beams combined and shot through the air, zooming toward the two Phantoms.
“Move, brother!” shouted the red Phantom as he grabbed his brother and threw him to the side. He was transformed into a silhouette as the tri elemental beam washed over him.
A loud explosion burst through the area as the red Phantom exploded his sword spun out of the dust cloud and landed a short distance away.
“You will pay!” shouted the blue Phantom as he ran for his brother’s sword.
“He’s going for the other sword!” shouted Dante, he took hold of the Trigger Ring, but red lightning sparked over his body, driving him down to one knee. “Gurk! Took too much damage!” he muttered.
“HURRY! BLOCK IT!” shouted Symbol as she and the Advance Style Energy Clones spun both of their sword’s barrels and pressed the triggers. ADVANCE STRIKE END SLASHING STRIKE! Shouted the swords as energy coiled around them. All five of them pulled back their swords, took one step forward and stabbed. The energy shot off them and transformed into a massive five coloured dragon that roared as it shot through the air towards the Phantom.
His hand closed around his fallen brother’s sword right as the dragon engulfed him. The dragon smashed into a tornado of wind fuelled fire and bit at it. Futilely trying to get through only for the tornado to grow in size and dispel the dragon with a final roar.
“No way,” muttered Dante in shock.
Symbol growled as she hit the Advance Timer’s thumb inwards. ADVANCE COMBINATION TIME! The Advance magic circle appeared behind her and lift her up into the air as the Advance Style Energy Clones were pulled up with her. She struck the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! FULL ADVANCE A TIER SPELL! A storm of purple orbs winked in behind her as the emitters glowed. They shot forwards and the blue Phantom unleashed a barrage of slashes that dispelled all of them in sparks of mana.
“Oh this is getting stupid!” shouted Symbol. “Can we please go through!?”
The Phantom froze.
“Sunset there is no way that is going to work!” shouted Dante.
“Impossible!” denied the red sword.
Dante’s head whipped around to look at the Phantom.
“They know the magic word!” shouted the blue sword.
“Only Master Sparda knew the magic word!” proclaimed the red sword.
“Not to mention Mistress Eva!” shouted the blue sword.
“Of course!” confirmed the red sword.
SET! OPEN! R-E-B-E-L-L-I-O-N! Dante blinked as he shifted back into the Rebellion Style. “You knew our old man?” he asked.
“And our mother?” asked Symbol.
The swords gasped.
“You are the children of Master Sparda and Mistress Eva?!” demanded the red sword.
“They must be!” added the blue sword. “Look! The male wields one of the Master’s swords!”
“This changes everything!” they proclaimed together.
The chains around the door shattered, the Phantom’s statue bodies crumbled into a ball of red and blue light that hovered over to Symbol while the twin swords flung themselves into Dante’s gloves.
“We are yours to command, Son and Daughter of Sparda!” they proclaimed together.
“You have gotta be shitting me!” shouted Dante.
“This whole thing could have been avoided by telling you who we are?” asked Symbol.
“Yes,” replied both swords.
“I am Agni,” stated the red sword.
“My name is Rudra,” added the blue sword.
“Take us with you. We can be of great help,” requested both swords.
“Alright, on one condition,” replied Dante.
“What is it?” asked Angi.
“Name it,” replied Rudra.
“No talking!” ordered Dante.
“Fair enough, as you wish!” replied both swords.
Dante picked them up and tried out a few moves with the swords shouting and laughing. Then he knocked them together. “No talking!” he ordered more firmly.
“If you two want to talk then you can put your minds into this and come with me,” suggested Symbol.
The swords closed their eyes and looked to fall asleep.
“I’m guessing that was a yes,” muttered Symbol as she absorbed the orb.
