Entry 83

Well, it's over.

It sure seems sudden.

One day I'm going to read this and wonder how it seemed to have gone by so quickly.

Nine months.

I guess journal pages don't really capture that essence of time gone by.

I look back upon everything that was said and done and I'm glad... no, relieved to be at this point.

Big Sis burst in on me just last night, yelling

"Oh Luna, I remember, I remember!"

And I was just sitting there in pretty stunned silence halfway through a sandwich.

(Yes, my appetite has finally come back, thank you very much.)

So we had a talk.

A long talk. I think for hours. We talked, we laughed, we reminisced, we felt like a family again. She told me everything that happened on her side, and I told her some of mine.

I told her, truthfully, that the whole deal with me being defeated, yeah, ok. I did allow her to do that.

I didn't really let on that I sort of didn't know what I was doing back then, but hey, I'm just going to take credit where credit is due, huh?

Hehe.

In the end it still all worked out.

Just like a fairy tale.

She's still upset. You can't blame her. But time will heal, and I think now that she's finally come out from that hole of destitution, the path up will be much smoother with me by her side.

One thing though? I struggled with just one... piece of information.

In fact, that one piece of information that I have been debating about for a long long time.

It might be a bit harsh to let her know that she was trying to kill Grenadine's descendant.

Yeah, 'Dine didn't die. She was also sent someplace really far away. But she was ok, and I was watching. Watching as she fell in love, married, had children, and they had children, and they had children, and they became rock farmers for some reason, but they had children and so on.

One child always was pink. Just like her. And had straight flowing hair. Just like her. And their family tradition for generations over generations was to give that Pink child a middle name - Diane - Named after the nickname we used to have for Grenadine.

So for now, I think this little secret will remain hidden in these pages. The time will come when she'll be ready to hear the truth, but hey!

That's not important now.

Right now?

I have some quality time to spend with my sister.
