At 3.19 A.M. on the 15th March, 3483, Officer Red Berry had failed to report in after her investigations into the series of murders that occurred around the local area. (Ref: RN: 349799281-A to C)
We had also received a call from a concerned citizen identifying herself as one Ms. Skyward Surge who lived in the area where Officer Red Berry was last known to be investigating. The call came in at approximately 3.24 A.M. with complaints about noises of scuffling coming from her neighbour's house.
We dispatched a PonyForce team to the area immediately, arriving on scene at 3.35 A.M.
The house was surrounded, and we had noticed what appeared to be blood streaks leading up the front porch into the house.
The door was not locked.
Within, the team reported findings of Officer Red Berry, who had been killed and had her four legs severed at the ankle. Further investigations revealed a large glass jar next to the door with what appeared to be skinned Pony faces floating in some kind of preservation liquid.
The liquid has been sent for analysis, but initial colour-comparisons match the three faces to the three murdered Ponies found over the past 2 months with the same M.O.
The assault team managed to take the inhabitant of the house by surprise and bring him to the police station. We have identified him as the serial murderer the media has dubbed 'Kidneyripper'. He was found sleeping in bed with the bloodied helmet of Officer Red Berry.
