Applejack Adventure - Apple Lagoon 5: The Honey Bombers

Apple Lagoon - Coconut Cove
As the heroes made their way down the path after destroying some Bad Apples, they noticed a Rabbid punching (and losing) to a fruit hanging from a nearby tree.
"Boy, he's got a long way to go before his big fight. He could really use a training montage right about now." Beep-0 told the group.
"It'll take time, but I'm sure he'll be ready when he's ready." Applejack reassured Beep-0. "Let's leave him to continue..." She looks back at the Rabbid, who is being knocked back by his punching bag. "...training.
The team left the scene and Beep-0 opened up the Battle HQ to upgrade everyone's Skill Trees.
Applejack used 2 of her Runes to increase her area of movement and to increase her area of movement after swinging off her lasso.
Rabbid Rarity used 2 of her Runes to increase her area of movement and increase the number of dashes she can perform in 1 turn to 3.
Rabbid Granny used 2 of her Runes to increase her area of movement and increase her area of movement when exiting a pipe.
Beep-0 closed the Battle HQ and the heroes entered the next battlefield.
Reach Area - 3 Hoppers, 2 Ziggies (Obstacle: Honeybirds)
"Uh oh. Looks like we're in the middle of a Honeybird Bombing Run!" Beep-0 told the heroes. He then spotted a safe zone under a tree. "See that shelter? If we can reach it, we'll be safe from their sweet and sticky salvo! Let's spread out to avoid becoming a honey-drizzled hero cluster. Also, help each other to keep everyone honey-free!"
"I see some Ziggies, but I may have an idea for how we can avoid them." Applejack told the group then turned to Rabbid Granny. "Rabbid Granny, hop on my back."
Rabbid Granny was confused, but did as she was told.
Applejack jumped up onto the first high area and then ran across an orange arrow to the next high area. She entered a pipe leading to the third high area, then hopped down before entering a pipe leading to the fourth high area. Applejack ran and bucked Rabbid Granny back down to the ground.
Rabbid Granny noticed the safe zone wasn't that far from her. Realizing Applejack's idea, she ran to it and ended the battle.
The heroes cheered as they were rewarded 950 apples and 3 Runes.
"That was good thinking Applejack! Not only did we finish that battle quickly, but those birds didn't even get a chance to bomb us with a single drop of honey!" Beep-0 told her.
"Battling those varmints with birds dropping that stuff on us ain't really my idea for fun."
"Bwah bwah!" Rabbid Rarity shouted as she ran out of the battlefield, urging the others to follow her. She led them to what appeared to be a native village.
Apple Lagoon - Harbor Village
"Think there's anypony else here?" Applejack asked Beep-0.
"I doubt it. This village looks like it has been here for years, abandoned a long time ago."
"Bwah bada!" Rabbid Granny shouted as she pointed her walking stick towards some boats that looked like they were being used.
"I hope I'm wrong, but Rabbid Jack may be using those boats to bring Bad Apples to nearby islands. We need to stop her before anypony else eats any of that corrupted fruit!"
"We will, but we need to find those keys to open the path to her temple, but we don't even know where they are. Any ideas, Beep-0?" Applejack asked.
"Hmm..." Beep-0 thought to himself for a moment and that's when he spotted a lighthouse in the distance. "Over there! A lighthouse! If we climb to the top, we may get a better view of where the first key might be."
"What're we waiting for? Let's head to that lighthouse!"
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny cheered.
As the team made their way across a bridge, they spotted a Rabbid in a flamingo inner tube charging into the water and swimming back to shore over and over again.
"Hey, this isn't a vacation! Go build us something useful like a bowling alley or a burger joint!" Beep-0 shouted down to the Rabbid.
"How useful are those things givin' our current situation?" Applejack asked Beep-0.
"Good point. Still some of the Rabbids must have taken residence here in this village."
"At least they have a place to stay until we get all them Washin' Machine parts back."
Not too long after, the heroes saw a giant Rabbid hula doll.
"Imagine having one of THESE on your dashboard. I'd just as soon take the bus." Beep-0 stated. He looked over and saw that Rabbid Rarity began to imitate the dance the doll was doing. "Maybe when this is all over we'll have a luau." he joked.
The team went a little further up the path and turned right towards the lighthouse opposed to continuing to go straight ahead. They saw a pair of Rabbids bouncing around on giant bongos.
"We could start a heck of a spoken-word poetry slam if they'd just learn to play a smooth jazz rhythm or two." Beep-0 stated.
"Somehow, I feel that Pinkie would be very good at the drums." Applejack told Beep-0.
"Trust me Applejack, you're not the only one who thinks that." Beep-0 told her, the only one, besides Twilight, who knows the truth about the Rainbooms.
The group turned right and were nearing the lighthouse.
"We're there it is, girls. Right there in front of us" Beep-0 told everypony.
"Good. Let's get on climbing and... wait, what is that?" Applejack said as she pointed towards something nearby.
The group walked over and saw a shrine dedicated to Rabbid Jack with a large pile of apples in front of it.
"An offering. The locals believe Rabbid Jack will bring them a wealth of apples it they er... give her all their apples." Beep-0 explained.
"Rabbids don't really think things through, do they?" Applejack asked.
"Nope."
The group backtracked and climbed up to the top of the lighthouse, giving them an entire view of the village.
"Ok everypony, look for anything that'll help us in our search for a key." Applejack told the team.
"Bwaah!" Rabbid Rarity shouted and pointed excitedly at a large gate in the distance.
"That gate DOES look pretty suspicious... as if somepony didn't want us to go into that area." Beep-0 told her.
"I think you found where the key is! Nice job!" Applejack congratulated Rabbid Rarity.
"Bwaaaah, Bwah Bwada." Rabbid Rarity thanked Applejack and blushed a little.
The group climbed down the lighthouse and backtracked to the main path, where they continued along it until they reached the gate they saw.
"Sigh... another gate to block our progress. I'm starting to really hate these things..." Beep-0 disappointingly admitted. He looked up and studied the new gate they were dealing with. It had 2 totems on each side of it, with six signs above it that each had a different symbol. "This gate is guarded by two totems. They look menacing, but i detect they hold the solution to the riddle of the closed gate." He looked down and saw 3 buttons with the same symbols as the signs. He looks over and sees another set on the opposite set "Hm? What're these big buttons for? There's one set of them for each totem. I can't entirely make out what the symbols on these panels mean, but they speak to some kind of balance between what should be done and what shouldn't."
Rabbid Granny pushed one of the buttons and the bottom part of the left totem rotated, igniting 2 torches above 2 of the signs.
"I think I get it. We just need to light all the torches to open the gate." Applejack stated as pushed the next button, rotating the left totem's middle part and igniting a third torch.
Following the hints the signs gave, the team successfully lit all 6 torches and opened the gate.
"It's a good thing we didn't have to find keys for this gate too, otherwise we'd never get off this island." Applejack stated.
The group entered it and went down its path. along it they've encountered a pair of Rabbids who had a pile of apples. One of them got on his hands and was bucking some of the apples into his friend's mouth.
"I didn't think apples could be any less appealing, but there you go." Beep-0 said kind of disgusted with what he is witnessing.
"With a little practice though, I might offer them a job at Sweet Apple Acres." Applejack proudly stated, seeing some potential in them for the upcoming harvest.
The team left them to it and continued down the path, searching for the first key.
